The USA claims missiles pointed at Russia are to keep Iran's kitty scared (hahahahaha) while China assures us they aren't planning to knock out all our spy satellites when they dump a trillion dollars into the world's banking system and Cheney's daughter emerges from her State Department bomb shelter to demand we fight harder or else. Ship the bitch to Iraq and give her a gun.
WASHINGTON, Jan. 22 (Xinhua) -- The United States said on Monday that its plan to develop missile defense systems in Poland and the Czech Republic was aimed at "irresponsible states" rather than Russia.
"It's not aimed at Russia, it's aimed at those irresponsible states that may possess these technologies that could threaten our friends and allies, that could threaten the United States," State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said of a proposal to set up anti-missile bases in the former Warsaw Pact states.
"We are open to missile defense cooperation with Russia, so it's not meant to exclude Russia," McCormack told reporters.
All McCormack and Bush and all those clowns have done this last six years is rip up every treaty concerning disarmament and missile restrictions. Not to mention our poor, lamented Constitution. What is particularily insulting to Russia in this latest statement of intentions is, the only 'irresponsible' country with a history of invading Poland and Czechoslovakia is...Germany!
Further more, people are demonstrating against this missile base set-up in the host country! And even more, polls there show people are quite alarmed about this and wonder if Bush and his gang of lunatics are planning for WWIII.
I can assure everyone, they ARE.
So here we go, getting ready for WWIII. One thing the Pentagon and CIA rely upon is their zillions of secret spy satellites that watch everyone on earth. This is probably why the American ruling elites whine about Chinese pollution: we can't see anything there. They also have epic dust storms in the north. I watched one on Xinhua news two days ago. The Chinese have already shown their irritation with this spying when they knocked down one of our spy planes back in 2001.
BEIJING, Jan. 23 (Xinhua) -- China opposes the weaponization of space and any arms race in space, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao said here Tuesday in response to questions concerning China's space experiment recently.
"What needs to be stressed is that China has always supported the peaceful use of space," Liu said.
China has never participated and will never participate in any arms race in outer space. This test was not directed at any country and does not pose a threat to any country, he said.
The spokesman also revealed that China has informed some countries including Japan and the United States about the experiment.
Spying is, by definition, not peaceful. This is why spies are often shot. Hostile people spy on each other. Israel spies on us all the time, for example. We claim we have the right to put into orbit whatever military spy satellites we want and at the same time, no one else may do this too. This bizarre belligerency is being countered by the Chinese saying they are peaceful people who shoot down spy satellites. No violence intended. All in the name of good relations.
If we want to stop this, we could go to the UN and sign some treaties. But signing treaties is like garlic to vampires with the Bush regime. We still own't sign any peace treaty with North Korea who is now chasing us all over the earth, most recently, in Europe, trying to get Bush's John Hancock. The Chinese now have another tool to use to get us to sign some treaties. They carefully drew them up some time ago and hope they don't have to get more obvious.
LONDON, Jan. 23 -- Global opinion of U.S. foreign policy has sharply deteriorated in the past two years, according to a BBC poll released on the eve of President Bush's annual State of the Union address.
Nearly three-quarters of those polled in 25 countries disapprove of U.S. policies toward Iraq, and more than two-thirds said the U.S. military presence in the Middle East does more harm than good. Nearly half of those polled in Europe, Africa, Asia, South America and the Middle East said the United States is now playing a mainly negative role in the world.
The USA always needs a propaganda game of 'we are good and ....is evil.' After Bush returned from his hideout a week after 9/11, he made a speech about how we were good guys and he would fight the evil doers until they were dead.
Since then, Bush arranged things so the whole world has his face on all the 'World's Most Wanted' posters. After hanging Saddam and yanking off the head of Saddam's Cheney, the world is anxious to finish this with Bush and Cheney dancing in Baghdad at dawn.
There is no way we can conduct any sort of real diplomacy burdened with this repulsive reputation. All attempts are doomed from the start. So time for the Miss Piggy of the GOP to step up to the dinner plate and talk tough about the need to kill lots and lots of people.
We are at war. America faces an existential threat. This is not, as Speaker Nancy Pelosi has claimed, a "situation to be solved." It would be nice if we could wake up tomorrow and say, as Sen. Barack Obama suggested at a Jan. 11 hearing, "Enough is enough." Wishing doesn't make it so. We will have to fight these terrorists to the death somewhere, sometime. We can't negotiate with them or "solve" their jihad. If we quit in Iraq now, we must get ready for a harder, longer, more deadly struggle later.
Of course, the little coward and her buddies, Jenna and Babs Bush, all want us to die fighting for them while they polish their resumes and fingernails. Not one of the Bush or Cheney clans are volunteering to either fight or pay for any wars, certainly not going to Iraq.
Her hot-headed diplomacy is why much of the world hates and fears us. Watching a bunch of high-hilled ninnies squeaking about how we must fight wars or die is either too humorous for the Jihadists to even mock or it is just plain stone stupid. Our collection of Mini-Madame Maos preaching Cultural Revolutions to the Arabs is beyond a joke. It is a failure.
From day one, the invading right wing religious fanatics in the GOP and the AIPAC all loved to say they were spreading freedom, democracy and women's rights. At home, here in America, these same time, they grunt and groan and wail about women having a choice concerning pregancy or people choosing to marry whoever they want, they revoke ancient rights and freedoms and destroy democracy. Then they imagine the world would fall for their propaganda which was cooked up in thoughtless think tanks by a bunch of drunkards strung out on quaaludes.
In the Middle Ages, if a king or his spawn wanted war, they had to pick up a sword and go out, IN FRONT of the troops, and fight. Many didn't live long.
They really liked doing this. Any excuse to go out and kill someone or something was irresistible. One ruler of Austria was called 'The Violent' or 'The Irritable Fighting Jerk' and a lot of other names. Even at parties, Duke Sir Frederick II (Babenberger) he would draw his sword and knock over the feast table and attack people including emperors and kings. Died in battle, too. Happily, I would suppose.
Richard the Lionhearted wasn't called that because he went AWOL instead of going on crusades. His idiot brother, John Lackland, is to this day, a thousand years later, the butt of jokes. Yet AWOL Bush and Deferment Cheney and their nasty, spoiled, infantile children trot about this planet, blasting everyone for not fighting? Money where mouth is, my dearies.
And we just screwed up our currency.
