We used to joke, economic news reporters should have their jobs outsourced to India and here it is: they are! And Bush's favorite place to find workers willing to toady up to him, Harley-Davidson's empoyees, is on strike and Bush and his gang plan to destroy the union. Serves them right.

In a windowless office in central Bangalore, dozens of employees are arriving to work on the night shift.
They are journalists employed by the world's biggest news agency, Reuters.
Their job is to cover US financial news.
And they are working overnight so that they can report company news live as it happens on the New York Stock Exchange - from India.
Eventually, nothing will be written here. And of course, this has to happen! After all, if economic reporters were truthful, useful and honest, their news would read like my blog. But they are liars, fakers and traitors so they played along with their bosses who are traitors, liars and fakers and have pushed the economic model of their own doom.
Of course, foreign labor with low pay scales, will write the news! And do all the white collar jobs done by Americans! There is no other future so long as a nation believes in 'free trade'! The Indian news writers won't complain about outsourcing jobs, they will happily run headlines, 'Mega corporation X outsourced more jobs to India! Wall Street rejoices as X's stocks shoot up in value. Downsized workers who tried to block the doors were shot and the survivors removed to relocation camps in Alaska.'
There. I just wrote the news from 2012. I hope the former reporters are stocking up on mucklucks and parkas.
Motorcycle firm Harley-Davidson has been hit by a strike at its main US assembly plant in a dispute over pay and healthcare provision.
Workers at the factory in Pennsylvania began the walk-out in the early hours of Friday morning, after voting 2,533 to 52 in favour of industrial action.
The staff are objecting to plans to bring in two tiers of pay and to make workers pay towards their healthcare.
These guys voted heavily for the GOP. Now they whine. Like the poor, pathetic saps at Remington guns in Lieberman's backyard. The various icons of he-man Americana are falling one by one. These were all unionized thanks to the hard work of many imported workers who came flooding into America after the Civil War. It took over 50 years of hard fighting for unions to gain some power.
People literally died. They were beaten, abused, jailed, murdered, driven out of their homes. But they kept on fighting and organizing and struggling. They took this to every level, they worked to elect politicians who would represent them in government.
Starting with Ronnie Reagan and Nixon appealing to the prejudices and entitlements these unionized workers enjoyed or practiced, they were conned into supporting politicians who were conspiring with the owners and bosses of these workers. Bosses don't give a hoot about gay marriage, women's rights, racism or anything that yanks the chains of these white working class males. Since rich people can live and do whatever they please anyway, they don't care about laws restricting freedoms.
For example, in the sixties, when I fought for the right to access birth controls and abortions, all rich girls I knew had all this without trying. We suspect that one of the Bush twins, for example, had an abortion, even. Certainly, Cheney's spoiled brat, Mary, can openly have an out-of-wedlock gay couple child and daddy and mommy laugh in the faces of all those Harley-Davidson union workers who pulled the lever for the GOP because they hate and fear lesbians like Mary Cheney.
Now, Mary and her bastard child (I am using the terms these guys use to illustrate how amazing this is) get to laugh at these poor saps as she lives like a queen and they get their wages cut, their union eviscerated, no more health care, etc. She will do as she pleases while they will end up thrown out of their homes and unable to shop at Walmart.
As each union is backed into the ditch and then destroyed, one wonders if they will understand what 'Workers of the World Unite' actually means. American workers joined the capitalists in attacking any form of socialism as well as communists. They thought, when they backed the anti-leftist crusade, they would be rewarded richly.
Instead, they are now being sheered like the sheep they are. And we know these striking workers will lose their jobs thanks to their god, Ronnie Reagan. And the Bushes who they helped and worshipped, will whip them out of the factory and lock the gates. And if the replacement workers get troublesome, this factory will move to China, too.
NEW YORK (AP) -- President Bush took aim Wednesday at lavish salaries and bonuses for corporate executives, standing on Wall Street to issue a sharp warning for corporate boards to "step up to their responsibilities" and tie compensation packages to performance.
Bush's "State of the Economy" speech, delivered from the financial center of the world, was aimed at bringing his economic message out of the shadows of the Iraq war. On his second day in a row focused on the economy, the government reported faster-than-expected growth of 3.5 percent in the final quarter of last year.
The 'economy' isn't growing, inflation is growing. If we subtract inflation from the economic figures, it looks really anemic. The packages offered the top executives is shooting to the stars even as workers are losing ground relentlessly.
The minimum pay package passed by Congress is simply going to flatten wages more as no one above the minimum will get any pay hikes. I know from talking to people around here, everyone is being forced to pay for more and more of their health insurance and getting no pay raises, for example.
Losing ground inch by inch, now the door to instant wealth via escalating home prices is slamming shut, what will we do?
How can anyone say things are looking up?
In his address, Bush said he realized that stories about the enormous salaries and other perks for CEOs, for instance, create anger and uncertainty that affect the country's investors.
The president does not endorse any government role in reducing those packages. Instead, Bush highlighted new federal rules that the administration thinks are a better path toward wise compensation decisions by companies.
And that is Bush's solution! These greedy clowns better worry about anger and uncertainty! Many of the autoworkers are shuffling off to a dead-end life, leaving their union in the grave, hoping to have happy days before they, too, expire. None of the union guys who thumped their chests and made fun of Democrats are showing any gumption at all. Even as the government conspires to slice America in two with a 12 lane super-highway that is privately held by alien corporations, the Teamsters still cling to the GOP just as the stupid Carpenter's Union that was betrayed when Bush opened the flood-gates to foreign labor who undercut wages so disastrously.
Now we will see the military/industrial complex preparing to kill off their unions. The cry to cut costs because of the half a trillion plus is killing us, will resound. And once the last unionist dies, we will be united with Mexico where they are industriously killing off the unions with police assassin squads. Great, isn't this future lovely?
Thank you, Bush family, thank you, union workers who hate liberals.
