Maliki Defies Bush And Demands Control Of Military In Iraq

Elaine Meinel Supkis

Instead of going to bed, I am staying up because the news is taking a sudden turn, another corner has been turned in Iraq! We are like rats in a maze that ends where the Minotaur resides. Evidently, al-Maliki is showing Bush some real teeth and he can and will bite...hard. Bush's diplomacy is dumb so of course, expect the worst.

It seems, the Iraqis are not allowed to control any of their troops or police except if the USA lets them.

By STEVEN R. HURST and QASSIM ABDUL-ZAHRA, Associated Press Writers 30 minutes ago
BAGHDAD, Iraq - After a hastily arranged video conference with George Bush, Iraq's prime minister said Saturday that the U.S. president promised to move swiftly to turn over full control of the Iraqi army to the Baghdad government. A close aide to Nouri al-Maliki said later the prime minister was intentionally playing on U.S. voter displeasure with the war to strengthen his hand with Washington.

Hassan al-Suneid, a member of al-Maliki's inner circle, said the video conference was sought because issues needed airing at a higher level than with U.S. Ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad.

Al-Suneid said the prime minister complained to Bush that Khalilzad, an Afghan-born Sunni Muslim, was treating the Shiite al-Maliki imperiously.

"The U.S. ambassador is not (L. Paul) Bremer (the former U.S. administrator in Iraq). He does not have a free rein to do what he likes. Khalilzad must not behave like Bremer but rather like an ambassador," al-Suneid quoted al-Maliki as saying.

Bush and his 'my way or the highway' gangsters are high handed? Oh my. What a revelation.

Actually, this sort of 'Imperialism for Real Big Dummies' isn't working! The entire assemblage in the White House and Foggy Bottom is filled with contemptuous, nasty, ill graced fools who think they are smarter than everyone simply because they conspired with rich people seeking tax cuts and the right to form monopolies and cartels and feast on the banquet of eternal war, they conspired to steal the government of America.

Many folks want to do this and they are also succeeding. The only people who have no real say in all this are the citizens of this country who can't get their representatives to do anything for them at all at this point.

Hubris is going to be renamed as 'Bushris'. Just like Quisling now means to betray one's homeland in order to consort with Nazis, so will Bush mean incompetent idiot who has destroyed an empire. Just as we tallk about Pyhrric Victories, so we will talk about Bush Defeats.

This open battle with the only person left on our team working with us in Iraq is fatal!!!! Can't these fools see the obvious? We declared war---yet again---on Sadr who is now killing us at a pretty nasty clip, we are now also getting down and dirty with Maliki! Who's left? Anyone?

Will we end up like NATO, negotiating basically a surrender to the Taliban?

And where is bin Laden? If he isn't laughing to death, he is in a coma.

This was yesterday's news.

WASHINGTON - President Bush on Saturday sought to repair tensions with Iraq’s prime minister and the White House asserted that Nouri al-Maliki is not “America’s man in Iraq” but a sovereign leader whom the U.S. is aiding.

Ten days before the Nov. 7 congressional elections in which the unpopular war in Iraq is a top issue, Bush and al-Maliki played down a feud over a U.S. plan for benchmarks for reducing violence. The dispute has thrown the White House on the defensive and undermined Bush’s attempt to put a new face on his much-criticized Iraq strategy.

Bush has completely alienated Putin, a very dangerous sovereign. Worse, he decided to pick a fight with Hu, a tremendously dangerous byzantine infighter who rules the most people on earth and who is tremendously intelligent. This man is extremely dangerous because he not only knows how to play the diplomacy game, he is also ruthless. And increasingly annoyed with our monkey man.

Bush drove Putin into Hu's happy embrace and the two men get along just great. They whisper together as Bush drools or spits food out, yelling for Blair's massages. If Bush thinks Maliki is going to be talking only to him, he is dead wrong, as usual.

Maliki will get some interesting phone calls this week. The Chinese and Russians read the news, closely. Unlike Bush, Hu really does read the news and he has staff monitor items of interest and Maliki is high on this list. To take him right out from under the USA: this is going to be a part of our punishment for our misbehavior with Baby Dragon, North Korea. And it will deal a terrible blow to our plans for world domination.

In the game of Go, this is like taking a center stone so attempts at building an unassailable sector collapses and the player doing this 'captures' all the stones! Gah!

And here is bin Laden, his genius is at work, he is tying down the American empire AND Europe!

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates - Coalition naval forces in the Persian Gulf are on watch for possible terror threats to oil facilities in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, Western naval officials said Friday.

A British navy official, speaking on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the press, said a threat from al-Qaida last month to target gulf oil terminals had resulted in stepped-up security and vigilance at Saudi Arabia’s Ras Tanura terminal, as well as a refinery in Bahrain.

As we pour everything into this dangerous cul-de-sac, we are debating how to overthrow the legal election in Palestine and ram Israel down their throats. And meanwhile, bin Laden is going to ram a lot of nasty stuff down our own throats...yet again.

And every day, he gains power as millions turn from us in disgust. This path has only one end: Nüremberg.

In the middle of all this mess, Bush continues his stupid, boneheaded crusade to disarm another victim.

WASHINGTON (AFP) - President George W. Bush said the international community must "double our effort" to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons after reports that Tehran had stepped up sensitive atomic work.

Asked about news accounts that Iran had taken a new step in uranium enrichment, Bush replied: "It says to me that we must double our effort to work with the international community to persuade the Iranians that there is only isolation from the world if they continue working forward on such a program."

The Europeans wring their hands but they are helpless. Russia and China are supporting Iran because they know this must be carried out in order to trump Bush and Olmert. The USA and Israel can't dominate the Middle East with a nuclear Iran breathing down their necks. Everyone knows Iran will have very friendly relations with Maliki and his party if the USA is shoved out of Iraq. So any nukes Iran has will be an umbrella for whatever remains of Iraq, so long as the Shi'ites run the joint.

This, Saudi Arabia fears almost more than bin Laden. Maybe. Every hour our dictator yaps about North Korea and Iran having weapons, things deteriorate for us. In the news today, Russia announced they are now selling more weapons to third parties than America. We are still boasting that our manufacturing data is improving even though this is entirely due to China using their diplomacy to buy jets from Boeing and not due to America suddenly becoming an industrial power.

Our only other sales item that makes money is military hardware. And we are beginning to lose that race, too. After all, we are stuck 'selling' weapons to allies who force us to pay for everything so it really isn't a profit at all but a loss. And what if Maliki decides he doesn't want our military left overs and goes shopping in Russia? And Russia decides to make this a loss-leader and sells below profit? Hmmm.

I bet tonight, Russia and China are chatting and planning ahead.

The base the Iraqis blew up had some really spectacular explosions, I saw them on Uruk TV.

Camp FALCON was the largest URANIUM MUNITION FIRES EVER SEEN! This fire Released TONS of radioactive GASSES into the air we all breath. The video footage i saw on the early morning of the 12 Th proove that the temp of the fire was even hotter than even TERMATE could produce. the photos that were posted of the base from air clearly show that 69% to 85% of the munitions stored there burned up completely. The photos also show the hasty “Safty Boss” snuff explosion used to extingush the fire before the whole base went up. The white containments that look melted and collapsed all housed DU munitions. 80 percent of them are destroyed totaly. These units are Air Conditioned storage space for all the tank and A-10 DU ammo. The main ingredient is URANIUM 238 a pyrophoric metal like magnesium if heated to X temp it will burn at 3000+ degrees temp and release every gram of its radioactive mass into radioactive gasses no filter can remove. Look into it VERY carefully EVERYONE.

It really is disgusting that the USA is using depleted uranium and the tremendous explosion at Falcon camp was blinding. It shook cameramen watching from miles away! Rapidly, we are making the Middle East uninhabitable. And we keep the UN from talking about any of this!

With teeth bared, the Chinese have this official news story about the UN trying to condemn American Nazi moves to tear up the Geneva Conventions.

GENEVA, Oct. 27 (Xinhua) -- The new anti-terrorism law approved by the United States earlier this month contains provisions that violate international treaties and contradict the principles of fair trial, a key UN human rights expert said Friday.

The Military Commissions Act signed into law on Oct. 17 by President George W. Bush "contains a number of provisions that are incompatible with the international obligations of the United States under human rights law and humanitarian law," said Martin Scheinin, the UN's expert on protecting human rights in combating terrorism, in a statement.

A number of provisions of the law appear to contradict the universal and fundamental principles of fair trial standards and due process enshrined in the Geneva Conventions, said Scheinin, a legal expert from Finland.

He said one of the most serious aspects of the legislation "is the power of the president to declare anyone, including U.S. citizens, without charge as an "unlawful enemy combatant" - a term unknown in international humanitarian law."

Will the UN save us from our own despot? Will they put us under embargo, prevent us from banking with anyone outside of the USA, will they cut off military sales and ban the movement of our ships and subs and planes?

HAHAHA. Of course not. Right makes might as far as our dictator is concerned. And all too many Americans believe this, too. The mightiest army was the Wehrmacht, once upon a time. Then the Soviet Union. We will fall into the same grave.

Back to the Chinese: we still lecture them daily about human rights and international law. They dislike this a great deal and now they are sharpening their knives. They feel justified in taking us down. We provoke them and Russia at our peril. Even this last week, arrogant Europeans went off to Putin to bark orders at him only to get their leashes yanked really hard.

I sense the New World Order will not please us at all, no, Precious.
