USS Liberty Anniversary Raises Demands For Investigation

Today is the anniversary of a great Israeli war crime. They have many war crimes but this one is a key event: the attack on the USS Liberty, an observer ship sent to monitor the war launched by Israel. This war was the one whereby they conquered the West Bank and Gaza and is a key event leading up to the future WWIII that will probably destroy humanity. Time to talk about this event, one of the most hidden military massacres in our history, one that is now finally seeing the light of day thanks to the internet.

Conclusions submitted in October 2003 to the Office of the U.S. Secretary of Defense by the USS Liberty Veterans Association, Inc., in demanding a congressional investigation into the aborted rescue during the attack of the USS Liberty and subsequent alleged cover-up.

The group also calls for a new Naval Court of Inquiry and that June 8 be officially recognized as USS Liberty Remembrance Day.

I was surprised to see any American newspaper mention this massacre of our own forces. What with all the flag waving, support the troops, bring home the missing soldiers black flags, one would imagine this great massacre would be a huge thing and since this is the anniversary and online, there are many people agitating for it to be talked about, it isn't mentioned at all by any of our support the troops warmongering newsmedia! Period!

Invisible, occult. The people who own and run our media are frankly a bunch of racists who support their ethnic country above and beyond the USA where they have decided to set up their headquarters. They concentrate on owning and running our media systems so they can hijack the news stream and turn it towards their own ends which seems to be the conquest and ethnic cleansing of Palestine.

This project is brutal and ruthless and if they have to massacre American sailors to achieve their own ends, they will do this. This massacre is a crime. And like all crimes, it is covered up. Murderers like to pretend there are no bodies and nothing is there.

In particular, the Jewish community makes a huge thing about remembering stuff. They have memorials all over the place. The huge Holocaust Memorial in Washington, DC, is a typical example. There is, of course, no memorials that are official, for the sailors killed by Israel during a long, long attack.

At Google, they have the news of the day and I typed in words about the USS Liberty. There are stories about that massacre...mostly in Europe and in blogs like Lewrockwell's web page. But usually, when something is big news in America, there are 1,000 similar stories. In the case of this massacre, there is only 9 stories. I have noticed over the years that whenever Israel commits crimes, the number of news stories reporting this drop off the cliff. If Iran were to massacre 34 American soldiers and sailors, attacking an unarmed ship that is observing, this would be in thousands and thousands of newspapers and online. But this coverage disappears whenever Israel commits crimes, even crimes against America.

I searched the two biggest warmongering papers on earth: the New York Times and the Washington Post. Here are the results:

When I tried to get information about the USS Liberty from the NYT and WP, I tried a dozen combinations hoping to open the safe to the real story. Every single one of my attempts came up with nothing at all. For a major news event, this is disgusting.

So I was pretty astonished to see an American newspaper that is very belligerent, the AZ Republic, run this story so thoroughly. The deliberate blindness of the NYT and the WP are due entirely to the fact that both rags are run by Zionists who are out to take over the government and run it for their own ends. Therefore, they collude in covering up crimes of the nation they are building. And because of this, I would suggest they are guilty of treason. In the classic sense, people who support massacring our own troops are traitors.

The AZ Republic even printed up many points put out by the survivors of this crime.

6. That fearing conflict with Israel, the White House deliberately prevented the U.S. Navy from coming to the defense of USS Liberty by recalling Sixth Fleet military rescue support while the ship was under attack; evidence of the recall of rescue aircraft is supported by statements of Capt. Joe Tully, Commanding Officer of the aircraft carrier USS Saratoga, and Rear Admiral Lawrence Geis, the Sixth Fleet carrier division commander, at the time of the attack; never before in American naval history has a rescue mission been cancelled when an American ship was under attack;

7. That although Liberty was saved from almost certain destruction through the heroic efforts of the ship's captain, William L. McGonagle (MOH), and his brave crew, surviving crewmembers were later threatened with "court-martial, imprisonment or worse" if they exposed the truth; and were abandoned by their own government;

8. That due to the influence of Israel's powerful supporters in the United States, the White House deliberately covered up the facts of this attack from the American people;

9. That due to continuing pressure by the pro-Israel lobby in the United States, this attack remains the only serious naval incident that has never been thoroughly investigated by Congress; to this day, no surviving crewmember has been permitted to officially and publicly testify about the attack;

10. That there has been an official cover-up without precedent in American naval history; the existence of such a cover-up is now supported by statements of Rear Adm. Merlin Staring, USN (Ret.), former Judge Advocate General of the Navy; and Capt. Ward Boston, USN, (Ret.), the chief counsel to the Navy's 1967 Court of Inquiry of Liberty attack;

11. That the truth about Israel's attack and subsequent White House cover-up continues to be officially concealed from the American people to the present day and is a national disgrace;

12. That a danger to our national security exists whenever our elected officials are willing to subordinate American interests to those of any foreign nation, and specifically are unwilling to challenge Israel's interests when they conflict with American interests; this policy, evidenced by the failure to defend USS Liberty and the subsequent official cover-up of the Israeli attack, endangers the safety of Americans and the security of the United States.

These are serious charges. And one would imagine the media would be talking and talking about this. Certainly this should be aired in public. Only it is not. Indeed, I didn't know about this for years and I have been a huge consumer of news concerning wars and massacres all my long life. I seek out this information. Back in the sixties when the peace movement was a big thing, it had a black hole in the center: Israel was always excepted in these matters. It was OK for them to have pre-emptive attacks, sneak attacks. It was OK for them to massacre people. And this blanket still covers Jewish crimes.

The last peace march was a dud in DC and did nothing at all since ANSWER was excluded. ANSWER usually has speakers to talk about Israel. And the Jewish wing of the peace movement greatly resented this and so they cut out all mention of why we were at war and who wanted these wars in the Middle East. It was OK to talk about the oil but not about the religious ethnic cleansing that is the American heart of this horror.

British university professionals have been debating doing to apartheid Israel what they did to apartheid South Africa: boycott anyone from that nation. To keep them from participating in sports, education and other events. Even as the Israelis imitate Nazi Germany with its ethnic cleansing and massacring soldiers, the Zionists demand the world ignore all this and treat them as if they are good people and not Nazis. The US has been so corrupted by all this, we are now the laughing stock of the planet as we run around, covered with Muslim blood, screaming about how Muslims are fighting us and how we are the good guys even as we kill many hundreds of thousands of people, launching wars and invasions all over the place.

Israel wants to celebrate their great victory, the conquest of the Golan Heights, West Bank and Gaza but they don't want us to think about or talk about the reality of that war. They want to hold their heads high while hooding our own heads as if we are their hunting falcons. The fact that our own military is colluding in all this is particularily disgusting. When we truly accidentally kill via friendly fire, there are huge investigations. The recent attack on the football hero in Afghanistan is often in the news and is talked about by the NYT and the WP with no problem. But this isn't true about the Israeli assault that lasted for more than an hour.

The Israeli naval and air bombardment of the USS Liberty on June 8, 1967, during Israel's Six Day War against three Arab nations left 34 Americans dead.

Researcher Michael Oren says the case is closed. He says no one has found evidence that the attack was anything other than an accident.

"I have never come across any evidence supporting it," said Oren, a senior fellow at the Adelson Institute for Strategic Studies at the Shalem Center in Jerusalem. "Why would Israel … attack a ship that belonged to its only ally?"

On Thursday several former crewmembers of the Liberty gathered at a hotel here to share stories and memories. Many believe the incident was not an accident and they want a new inquiry into the incident.

The Adelson Institute is a Zionist organization. Note how the article makes no mention of this. The 'researchers' are all Jews working tirelessly to cover up yet another crime. These people are also a greater part of the neo-con universe who are the same people who lied us into invading Iraq and are lying about Iran on every level these days. These are the people egging on WWIII by trying to surround Russia with missiles. These are the clowns who are ignoring what is good for America and focusing on the conquest and colonization of the Holy Land. And our entire goverment is run by them.

Jimmy Carter had this 'Peace Center' and Zionists gave him lots of money and they parked themselves all around him and tried to make him focus on Darfur and other things but he slipped their leash and wrote a book about Israel's fascistic plans to ethnic cleanse the Middle East. They then had to attack him from within to his horror. He thought they were friends. But anyone who crosses that line gets similar attacks.

If I wanted to be as popular as the top left wing bloggers, all I would have to do is never talk about Israel or Zionism. But I can't and won't so I lose readers. But this news service isn't about massaging people's lusts, it is just me telling the truth. My own family has disowned me over all this. My own father said, 'Why can't the Palestinians go away? They can live somewhere else!'

I said, 'Why don't you ask Santa Barbara to hand over the entire city to them? You can all move but you can't sell your homes or take anymore than you can carry on short notice.' Well...no one is going to do this. And expecting the Palestinians to do this is stupid. And racist. Today, thanks to the American invasion of Iraq, the Palestinians there are again refugees. Among the most popular theories as to why Israel would take such drastic action against its superpower ally is that the Liberty, a $40m state-of-the-art surveillance ship, was eavesdropping on an Israeli massacre of Egyptian prisoners of war.

Israel strongly denies its troops executed Egyptian POWs, saying those who died in an incident at that time were 250 armed Palestinian fighters killed in action.

At least the BBC is covering this story and giving more than one side. But here, it is another story. It is interesting that they even interview and American Naval lawyer.

One of the most powerful claims of a cover-up has come from retired US Navy lawyer Capt Ward Boston, counsel to the Navy Court of Inquiry into the incident conducted just days after the event.

Capt Boston says the court's original findings, which he signed, were changed afterwards by government lawyers.

He also claims the president of the court, Rear Adm Isaac Kidd, told him he was ordered by US President Lyndon Johnson and Defence Secretary Robert McNamara to conclude the attack was a case of mistaken identity.

However, Capt Boston's version of events - and the notion that what happened was anything more than a tragic accident - are disputed by numerous academics and authors who have investigated the incident.

His charges that the US government rewrote his findings should lead to very big headlines and very big investigations. I watched the media circus over Gonzales with disgust. This is because the rage and curiousity shown over his crimes were way out of proportion to the more important things we must cover. Namely, Congress was putting on a circus to attack Bush. But they won't do it in this case! The desire to stop Presidents from interfering with LAWYERS and what they report or do---applies even more in this case.

The Gonzales stuff was about elections but this is murder! And murder must out! The BBC mentions the host of Zionists who are 'investigators' who 'debunk' the charges brought by American officers. Of course, these guys have no respect for our own military and will move heaven and earth to defame them if they get in the way of Israel. Congress, who makes a big thingie about honoring and supporting our troops, are silent about this. We will never see Zionists like Pelosi or Reid come crossing the path of AIPAC and the media to demand hearings about the USS Liberty.

The survivors of this attack are the ultimate witnesses. The fact that they were hounded into silence is significant. The fact that now, thanks to the internet, they have been able to at last, talk about their ordeal, annoys the rulers who want us to ignore all this. And so I won't ignore it.

The whole 'accidental attack' garbage depends 100% on Israel's claims they couldn't ID an obvious American ship. But photos taken by the crew while they were attacked clearly shows the usual gigantic American flag waving over the ship! And no one can miss it. This is why these flags were invented hundred of years ago! Sheesh! Not only that, the Jews flying jets for Israel (there are no Arabs flying them even though they are 'citizens') have recently, this year, been buzzing NATO ships in the same fashion, even firing off bursts at them across the prows.

And this is why Israel must be stopped: they are reckless, dangerous and war mongers. They want to drag us into more wars in the Middle East. Indeed, all sides are doing this and this is why the USA should be fighting this, not enabling this. The US peace movement is complicit in all this. We will have corruption and fascism in America if we support corruption and fascism in the Middle East! We bribe the ruler of Egypt to oppress his own people, we accept bribes from the Gulf Kingdoms which are now destroying our own govnerment which solicits them and not us for power and money, we are corrupted by Israel's ethnic cleansing which can lead to terrible results here are Nazis rise up against Jews here at home as more and more Americans become enraged at the mess created in the Middle East.

Must we be doomed to have either a police state run by End of Times Christians here? They plan to move all Jews into the Holy Land and then have WWIII! The Jews are helping them in this plan on many levels including the recent AIPAC meeting where the Zionists cheered the right wing Christian groups who said they want desperately for Israel to continue down this road to ruin.

We must demand that our own government open hearings about the USS Liberty. We must have these televised and Kissinger can't run them. Nor can anyone attached to Israel. Maybe we could ask Jimmy Carter to run these hearings! And there should be a memorial to the dead.

If you get a chance, I hope you can write an article detailing John McCain's war against America and all things decent. It would be a very long article. He is a truly despicable person.

McCain is a patriot who decided being a ruling elite is more important, more money there. I have a long history with him, He makes his choices and then has to live with them. A very confused man.

I definitely think that his standing firm in a North Vietnamese prison was more patriotic than the vast majority of people are capable of. However, everything else I have observed isn't. His role in the S & L swindle, turning a good principle like campaign finance reform into a godsend for the mega media corporations, embracing Bush to get ahead, and his most recent attempt to overrun America with the 3rd world all illustrate a man who, like you said, has chosen the ruling elite over the ruled. On a personal level, how can you trust a man who dumps his first wife after she loses her looks and scams an heiress so he can get money and political connections? In addition, he made his wife take the blame for the Keating fiasco. For me, a man that doesn't try to defend or shield his wife is beneath contempt.

I really never understood how people could fight in Vietnam and not try to avoid pointless wars when they are older "statesmen". I have a hard time understanding the psychology behind this, yet I see it over and over again.
