"The Mexican presidential candidate Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has produced what he says is "irrefutable" video evidence of electoral fraud."

Seems the IFE looked at the video - and found it to be perfectly above board. What's worse (if you're Lopez Obrador): the PRD's person-on-the-scene signed off on it.

When your party has said something's OK, it's kinda hard to come out later and howl "FRAUD!!!" Now he's saying his own party's people were... bought. He's desperate.

I wish Gore did the same thing harder. And Kerry: jezuz chriiiist. He was one limp noodle.

Fight! Fight! The right snarls and snaps for years over less.

Thanks again Elaine for the rundown.

Now with the new bombing of Haifa [First Hezbollah did it woth a rocket, now its was Iranian guards with a missle], you know things are really in high-gear for the fast approaching end-game.

The USrael goverment is just inches away from putting gasoline on this fire....

Iran, I thought you were pretty cool cat, worthy of the same respect/distance we give Brazil [also enriching uranium].

But the assholes I'm forced to give my money to decided a long time ago that your resources are worth a lot more than your collective lives.

Side tangent -- We had a meeting yesterday at work to talk about our new 401k we get to start August 1st. What a joke.

Every waking morning brings bright news of last night's escalating horrors.

The preversion of 'disarmament' meaning, disarming nations we want to control or invade, is the key to what is happening.

And DO plan for a normal future. This is what we all do to keep going. But also plan for bad futures which is why my next system going up here is to finish the solar and wind power systems.

"MEXICO CITY — Lawyers for leftist candidate Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador on Sunday turned in documented allegations of irregularities that they said cost him the July 2 presidential election, and a senior aide warned that Mexico faces an "insurrection" unless all 41 million ballots are recounted. The warning by Gerardo Fernandez Noroña, the campaign's chief spokesman, was the most explicit high-level threat that the challenger's struggle to overturn his razor-thin defeat could erupt in civil disobedience and violence. [...]
Fernandez said that if the seven-judge Federal Electoral Tribunal upheld the result without a full recount and allowed Calderon to take office, 'we are not going to let him govern.' "

A potential problem is that Mexican election law doesn;t seem to allow for a full recount.

This may be a job for the Mexican Army.

(Aren't Latin American politics fun?)

I noticed the Republicans RIOTED when Florida tried to count the votes in 2000.

Ahem. Some people have short memories. Test for Alzheimer's.
