Anne Coulter "Jokes" She Sent Fake Anthrax Letter

Recently, the New York Times got a threatening letter with white powder. This was a false attack but reminds us the anthrax killer still roams America and is not being chased and he only attacked people Bush hates and Ann Coulter loves to threaten people yet is never arrested. Arrest her.

Women's Wear Daily has an interesting email exchange with the hag.

So Memo Pad went and asked her, sending an e-mail to her AOL account. And guess what? She not only responded, but claimed to be the sender of the mysterious powder.

"So glad to hear that The New York Times got my letter and that your friend at the Times thinks I'm funny," she wrote back. "Good luck in journalism and please send me your home address so we can stay in touch, too.

"P.S. If we get hit again, don't forget to ask the NYT if they consider themselves responsible since they have repeatedly exposed classified government programs designed to prevent another terrorist attack."

Most of the time, when people talk the way this demented woman talks, they are arrested. Just like one is arrested if one jokes about hijacking a plane when one is on a plane, pretending to be the anthrax killer when the NYT who was victimized by him in the past, is grounds for arrest.

Like in Nazi Germany, right wingers can say whatever pops into their brains and nothing happens. This blanket right to be vicious isn't extended to anyone else. As Rove has warned us, we better watch what we say.

And as Rove and Bush slip away from being held responsible for outing an undercover CIA agent, all I can say is, arrest them all.

Send them to Gitmo. And waterboard all of them.

Today is a busy day. Thanks to all the wonderful wars America is content to either create or finance, we are seeing record oil prices. Meanwhile, all our pretty democracy revolutions are turning into big fights as Russia successfully overthrows the Orange Revolution in Ukraine and Iran thumbs its cat's paws at the USA bluster and Russia and the USA exchange harsh words yet again.

Iran warns Europe they won't like the results if they follow the USA/Israeli game plans.

TEHRAN, Iran - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Thursday shrugged off a decision by world powers to refer Iran to the U.N. Security Council over its atomic program, saying Tehran would never abandon its "right to exploit peaceful nuclear technology."

"We are interested in seeing this issue resolved peacefully. But if they (the West) create tension, then the outcome would affect the Europeans. The tension would primarily harm them," Ahmadinejad was quoted as saying.

Heck, every American consumer should thank Bush personally every time they fill their tanks. I know that Russia and Iran are absolutely overjoyed that their joint plan to egg America into raising world oil prices is working like a charm. Russia and Iran are getting richer and you and I are getting poorer.

Just today, we installed a Japanese high-end 'on demand' water heater that uses 15% of the energy it takes to make hot water with the typical American hot water tank system. This is because the cost of energy is rising rapidly and we have to set things up so we can survive. Of course, I heated water in big tubs on my woodstoves for ten years so this usage of fossil fuels to heat water is actually a new thing for me. But America isn't ready at all for high energy prices. All our internal systems are inefficient and it is costly to retrofit.

Russia announces they are now part of the G8 while the USA decided it won't be the G9 or G10, we are keeping Russia and China outside where they can conspire against us, right.

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia said on Thursday it had achieved a breakthrough in talks with the United States on joining the World Trade Organization, but the U.S. side said no final deal had yet been reached.

Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin was quoted by Russian news agencies as saying that Presidents George W. Bush and Vladimir Putin should sign a WTO protocol in St Petersburg on Friday or Saturday, when the annual Group of Eight summit begins.

"I hope that a protocol will be signed before the G8, tomorrow or the day after," Kudrin was quoted by Interfax as saying.

Kudrin told Reuters a deal had been reached on financial services, but talks were continuing on other areas. U.S. officials said no comprehensive WTO entry agreement had yet been struck.

"No deal has been reached at this point," said one official traveling with Bush on a pre-G8 visit to Germany.

Instead of putting Russia and China into a situation whereby they can co-conspire with us to control the planet, the neo con plan is to make them dire enemies. And this plan has a 100% chance of succeeding. After all, even if these two giants become friendly, all the neo cons have to do is have Bush insult them personally and off we go! This childish approach will reap unpleasant consequences.

While the USA backs Israel 100% and produces an ocean of propaganda for their cause, the rest of the world is slowly edging away from this spreading war.

France and Russia have condemned Israel's attacks on Lebanon, while the US described the offensive as Tel Aviv’s right to defend itself.

France's foreign minister condemned Israel's attacks on Lebanon as "a disproportionate act of war," and said he supported Beirut's calls for UN Security Council intervention.

Germany was always 'defending itself.' This is a wretched excuse. A parcel of barely armed paramilitary civilians cause some mayhem so the nuclear power, Israel, uses this as an excuse to invade and bomb whole countries. The death toll in Lebanon is rising like a rocket. Most are civilians. Israel has taken out the basic military facilities of Lebanon and itches to take out all the other neighbor's military. Flying hostile military jets into everyone's airspace to intimidate them, making constant sonic booms over Palestinian neighborhoods in between bombing raids, kidnapping politicians, assassinating people, the country with the most power should be in control, instead, it is totally out of control.

When the IRA bombed London, the RAF didn't level Dublin's Catholic neighborhoods. Religious wars are not to be carried on by bomber jets. Of course, the USA is doing exactly that. And we are all yelling that Iran can't have nukes because they might hurt Israel? How about Israel being disarmed since they are harming a lot of innocent people! Or take this to the UN as Russia, France and most Muslim countries are demanding.

Putin won the fight for Ukraine.

In a complete turnaround, Ukraine may return to its Soviet roots with the nomination of Viktor Yanukovych for prime minister, after the chaotic session on Tuesday in which members of the Orange revolution party brawled and blared sirens.

After the session, a coalition was formed between the former ruling pro-Russian group, the socialists and the communists.

We boasted that we wanted 'elections' and we are getting them which is why Israel has become extrordinarily vicious when the Palestinians voted for Hamas or our fury when Venezuelans voted for Hugo Chavez. The democracy game isn't in anyone's favor. It is merely a way to get consenus for action. If the citizens approve, then it goes forwards. And elections that are close means to bring a nation together, one rules from the middle only no one does this as we saw with our dictator who used every hook and crook to eke out tiny 'majorities' or in the case of Gore, no majority, only a conspiracy in the Supreme Court to overturn an election. Anyway, as we are seeing in Mexico today, one has to keep on fighting if an election is very close since it is an all or none affair.

The Mexican presidential candidate Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has produced what he says is "irrefutable" video evidence of electoral fraud. The left-wing candidate, declared the loser by a razor-thin margin after elections on 2 July, filed a formal complaint of fraud and widespread irregularities and called for new street protests.

Mr Lopez Obrador, the populist leader of the Democratic Revolutionary Party, lodged his lawsuit to the federal electoral tribune late on Monday and screened two videos that he said demonstrated ballot stuffing.

The same jerks who worked to steal elections here did it there. They know they simply need a close vote in order to steal. They are very fearful that there won't be a close vote here. Of course, none of the dark winged birds have yet to come home to roost from the disasterous Bush policies such as the tax cuts for the rich or the many wars, all that is hidden still. But the new war is rapidly spreading and like the last time Israel invaded Lebanon, the USA had to come in and get massacred there.

BEIRUT, Lebanon - Israel intensified its attacks against Lebanon on Thursday, imposing a naval blockade, twice hitting Beirut's airport and blasting two Lebanese army air bases near Syria. Hezbollah fired more than 100 rockets into Israel, which said one also struck the port city of Haifa.

The Shiite militant group denied it had rocketed Haifa, where no injuries were reported, though two days of violence elsewhere left at least 51 people dead on both sides of the border. The crisis began with a Hezbollah raid on Israel that resulted in the capture of two Israeli soldiers.

Reagan, in retrospect, was much saner than Bush, and he ran away after only 250 dead soldiers. Bush gets to expend thousands of them and seemingly, keeps on rolling. But more and more Americans are fed up even if the bills due from this $300+billion mess haven't been mailed yet, when they are brought home, we will see a great explosion of anger. Already, the high cost of fuel is fueling a lot of fury and we are only at the beginning.

After all, the Persian cat has promised us $200 a barrel oil. Russia can't wait! Neither can Bush, it seems.

NYT Investigates Bizarre Federal Financing For Homeland Security

A NYT investigation reveals that Homeland Security has spent most of its resources and money protecting really stupid things that are in places no terrorist will ever bother attacking unless they are braindead which describes much of America's right wingers.

Do note that today's co-ordinated terrorist attacks targeted public transportation going into the FINANCIAL hub of India, just like Wall Street for us Americans.

Close to five years after 9/11, a Homeland Security list of national critical assets is still unreliable, and includes entries such as an 'ice cream parlor' and a Sears Auto Center, according to an article set for Wednesday's New York Times.

"Nearly five years after the 2001 attacks, the Department of Homeland Security still has been unable to produce a reliable list of critical national assets, considered a fundamental first step in developing a risk-based domestic security system, a new report by the inspector general has concluded," writes Eric Lipton.

"The report cited lists that include such inexplicable entries as an ice cream parlor and a Sears Auto Center and inequities such as the 8,591 entries for the state of Indiana, compared to 5,687 for New York and 3,212 for California," the article continues.

Bush is defunding NOAA. He sat idle when the WTC was attacked. He went to parties and laughed as over a thousand people died in New Orleans. So of course, Homeland Security, run by an Israeli who doesn't give a hoot, comes up with this laughable list of important sites to protect.

We just witnessed yet another clever, well, planned, carried out attack. As always, they attack using various transportation systems. This pretty much narrows down what to protect. Since 90% of the 'terrorist' attacks are aimed at trains, buses and planes, these are the important assets to protect. The successful destruction of the WTC astonished everyone including the 'terrorists'. The wanton killing of the passengers and a few passerbyers was the plan.

We just witnessed a demented ex-husband blowing up a large building in the middle of Manhattan all over a simple divorce decree. We can't stop such terrorist actions (yes, it was terrorism). Lunatics will blow up whatever whenever and we can only hope to nail them in the act before they succeed. But there are a million reasons for millions of pyschopaths to blow things up! We can't prepare for all of them nor prevent all of them. It is physically impossible.

Just like lightning striking, one can prepare for it but when lightning wants to hit, even walls and doors won't stop it, I am testimony to that, being hit indoors in various odd ways over the years.

NOAA's funds for vital life and death research concerning out planetary ecosystems is tremendously important, it is very much more important than mere terrorist attacks. Even the evilest terrorist can't annihilate all living things, for example. Even with nukes. But out of control global warming plus the acification of the oceans can and will kill most everything! So spending a lot of money on studying this and working out ways to avoid this fate is the top priority, the Inconvenient Truth.

Instead, we are wasting billions of precious money raised in China to protect the most idiotic, stupid and annoying things in America. It is like me fencing in my cats while letting the cows and horses run loose. I know Sparky would love to run loose. The ox team loved breaking out. These animals could destroy lots of property, they could even tear through walls, flip cars, knock down trees. So I kept them penned in.

The cats can't do one thousandth the damage.

It never ceases to amaze me how little most Americans care about protecting America. Aside from the lax border patrols, turning the keys to our ports over to the UAE, or wasting money on protecting stupid stuff, the real dangers to us is our oil dependence and our out of control budgets and trade deficits! And that is the small, easy to fix stuff.

Back to NOAA which is being defunded even worse than NY or California's Homeland Security funds: if we screw up with NOAA we could find ourselves extinct. That is distinctly nasty. I don't want to be annihilated nor do I want my kids killed. I don't want my forest withered and dead nor my fields turned to dust or my livestock, skeletons. Not even my cats, do I want dead!

So why are we seeing this? Why do people who are scatting all about the planet screaming about feeble missiles from tiny North Korea suddenly going slack and snoring stupidly when it comes to protecting the trains that pass through NYC from terrorists? Not to mention global warming!

I know the GOP has been trying to kill Amtrak. Perhaps they feel, if they destroy our rolling stock, the terrorists don't have to bother? Make public transportation a dead issue by eliminating it means no terrorism?

This logic has a big hole in the middle: if we destroy America and bankrupt our country playing stupid pork barrel games, the terrorists don't have to waste their time and energy destroying us. We will be screwed all by our own selves.

Every Single Head of Internal Security In the FBI Quits To Work Outside America!

Something is hugely wrong with America. The heart of the matter is our own security. It is simultaneously super-overwhelming strong and utterly in tatters, the leadership at odds, the inability to get anyone to do anything sane to make America safe is now raging like a fire out of control. Even as bin Laden taunts us repeatedly, the people supervising our joint national interests are all running away to make more money working for international corporate interests.

Everyone who takes the top FBI postion for fighting terrorists in America quits in less than a year to go make loot protecting corporate interests mostly overseas.

Years of pummeling by the press and Congress, plus wrenching changes produced by the FBI's shift in focus to antiterrorism, have depressed morale at the bureau and are causing senior agents to mull job offers worth as much as $600,000 a year in the private sector, TIME's Brian Bennett and Adam Zagorin will report in Monday editions, RAW STORY has learned.

The turnover has hit some of the most vital positions in the bureau hierarchy. In five years, six different people have moved through the post of counterterrorism chief, overseeing what has been the FBI's core mission since 9/11. And June 2 was the last day for 29-year veteran Gary Bald, 52, who retired just 10 months after being tapped to start up the FBI's new National Security Branch. He's taking a security job with Royal Caribbean Cruises, TIME reports.

Members of the Senate Judiciary Committee have been debating whether the brain drain at the FBI poses a threat to national security. “The FBI cannot be a revolving door for senior managers,” says Senator Chuck Grassley. “It needs stability in these important positions to fight in the war on terror.”

When a corrupt empire reaches such an impass that no one wants to bother protecting it, it falls. Plonk. All it takes is one small push. Afghanistan is tremendously smallers and weaker as well as poorer than the mighty Soviet State yet they brought it down and they intend to bring us down, too, using the identical tools of the trade and they are succeeding wonderfully for the same reasons.

No one ruling America believes in America's existence. They are not 'All for one and one for all' but are 'All for me and none for you.' This is leading to a major rout as everyone runs to the biggest pile of money to stuff their pockets, steal the silverware and throw the bolster out the window. In other words, looting America trumps protecting America.

The farce of the world's mightiest empire with the biggest honking army, navy and airforce, ruling the skies, the heavens, under the seas and on land, unable to find even a handful of soldiers capable of patrolling a border is beyond laughable.

IT IS TREASON.

Even as many on the left cry for Bush to be impeached, this impulse to betray our nation is now so powerful that even feeble efforts at window dressing falter and collapse, this is not time to talk about impeachement but treason. Treason is far more serious. This isn't removal from office, this is an executable offence.

Many thousands of Americans died because of treason.

When not one person was removed from office, blamed or punished for the utter, total, complete collapse of every single facet of our internal defense systems on 9/11, this meant that America was content with letting traitors operate openly and since that foul day, they have.

The many billions of money raised by giving our potential enemies a halter with a bitter bit in our mouths, this money which was earmarked for protecting America was completely frittered away and even with $500 billion a year raised, not one penny has made us one bit safer. We are not only as open to attack today as on 9/11, we are worse off, for the traitors are very bold now, cravenly taking high office only to pad their resumes so they can work against America. Learning all our secrets so they can use it for the UAE. Trading their knowledge for personal gain.

The dying Byzantine Empire had this, too. Heck, read the sad tale of any dying empire, it is all the same. Money raised to defend the realm wasted on frivolities, fripperies, flopperies and popperies. Aimless actions and badly planned excursions into distant lands of little strategic value or impotent or only insuring endless wars with truly hostile powers, all empires set in a sea of blood.

They DIE.

And we are on the edge of that terrible, bloody historical cliff!

And what about this? What is our danger? What????

An Air Force installation in Colorado Springs and one near Denver are operating with heightened security.

The Cheyenne Mountain Air Station, which houses NORAD, is now at "Bravo-Plus".

There are five levels of alert: normal, Alpha (low), Bravo (medium), Charlie (high) and Delta (critical). “Bravo-Plus” is slightly higher than a medium threat level.

The Cheyenne Mountain Air Station And Buckley Air Force Base are among four installations in the country at the higher alert level ordered last week by then- Acting-Commander of Air Force Space Command, General Fred Klotz.

Space Command would not comment on the reason for the security increase.

The order also affects Vandenberg Air Force Base in California and Patrick air force base in Florida.

More mysteries. What is coming from space? Tiny hermit kingdom of North Korea is going to nail us? Eh? Or a celestial object that is sailing merrily past even as I type and as our messed up space program can't launch even one space shuttle? We did manage to get the dying Hubble Telescope operational again. The scientists who toil so selflessly in the space program pull off one miracle after another even as their funds are reduced thanks to the huge, traitorous waste of funds on fake security.

I feel maybe we should have the robot on 'Lost in Space' appear on TV every day, waving his arms, saying, 'Danger, danger, danger, Will Robinson!'

Like any depraved army ravaging lands at will, our troops are murdering and raping the people of Iraq.

BAGHDAD, Iraq - An influential Sunni organization in Iraq said Sunday that allegations U.S. soldiers raped an Iraqi woman, then killed her and her family were "a sign of shame to the American invaders."

U.S. officials have said a group of American soldiers entered the home of a Sunni family in the insurgent-ridden town of Mahmoudiya, south of Baghdad, raped and killed the woman, then set fire to her body and killed three of her family members in an apparent cover-up attempt.

The loss of espirit d'corps is not easily remedied. Historically, it is like gangrene within any empire that is infected. It spreads rapidly and ends killing the kingdom unless amputated. Retreat from Iraq is an amputation. Keeping this foul limb attached to our empire is killing us. There is no other historical remedy, no, the Goddess of History becomes the Furies of Hell as she unleashes the powers of the Gods upon humanity. The Three Norns churn the stars as they sing a dire song, their cold, etheral voices echoing in the crashing seas below, froth and wind battering the land.

And a ship flounders and sinks.

The unit that raped and murdered happens to be the same one that the two soldiers were kidnapped from and mutilated, this happening, evidently as retaliation. Such savagries are what our empire can expect, we having repudiated all interantional laws and treaties.

I cannot fix this mess. No one person can. When Rep. Murtha stood up and bravely took this bull by the horns and demanded a final amputation of Iraq from our body politic, he wasn't supported by his own party and he has been subjected to infamy and vile threats just like any media reporting the secret financial and communication spying scandals is now being threatened as if they are the traitors even though no newspaper has any way of either enabling or exploiting 9/11 type events.

Only the people running and ruining our government. And they are all, without exception at this point, traitors. In most cases, the people of an empire can exercise some control by actively removing the top leadership of any traitorous cabal. The lesser members usually change their tune when they see their leaders fall just as all those Nazis melted away when Hitler and his gang went under.

Maybe I shouldn't play Götterdämmerung by Wagner when writing about national security issues.
