9/11 Heroes Are Now Just A Bunch Of Zeros

Many brave and good men and women died on 9/11 thanks to Bush, Rummy and Condi being unable to understand 'Bin Laden DETERMINED To Strike In The USA'. Many more good men and women suffered significant health damage due to EPA lies and their own anxiety to save people and fight for America. Now they are being cut off at the knees by a bunch of cowards.

The New York Post of all things, is championing these heroes.

October 15, 2006 -- The woman in charge of the $1 billion fund that's fighting claims by sickened World Trade Center rescue and recovery workers is collecting $350,000 a year plus benefits from the federal fund - a pay package that has stunned and angered advocates for the 9/11 responders.

Christine LaSala, president and CEO of the city-controlled WTC Captive Insurance Co., which is managing the 9/11 fund created by Congress, gets the entity's top salary - which has never before been publicly revealed - plus $20,000 in health benefits for herself and her family, documents obtained by The Post show.

Meanwhile, teams of lawyers hired by the fund to dispute and deny more than 5,000 claims for illnesses blamed on toxic exposure at Ground Zero earn up to $550 an hour for "senior partners," the records show. Other top lawyers working for the entity earn higher rates, sources said.

I remember the alligator tears for New Yorkers. All the vast people out there in la-la land were blubbering over the whole 9/11 stuff. I knew this was fake and of course, many people then backed Bush in his insane wars and then they turned to ripping up our civil rights and running up our credit limit another $2 trillion with no intention of paying for all this and of course, they began to feel jealousy for all the money showered on the 9/11 victims and then Coulter came right out and began the name calling and sneering and of course, our Republican gov. and mayor now are trying to prevent anyone from getting any medical help because it 'costs too much' and who cares, we need money for helicopter pads, marinas and stadiums for rich baseball and football owners! Yup.

Having gone through the whole long, nasty mess that is Workman's Comp in New York when the state nearly killed my husband, let me tell you: it is very hard to sue the state if you are a state or city worker! They--the GOPredators, made this virtually impossible! So the only tactic one has is to use the media to scream very, very loud.

These poor people! My heart flows for them! We lived on very little while going through the courts! I had to go to soup kitchens and we lived in a tent, for crying out loud! The judge in the final case's stages literally wept for us.

I can't see these poor people being put throught the grinder. All that money for the 'heroes' translates into ZEROES. I remember drunk firemen booing Hillary Clinton and cheering the GOPredators. They thought those cruel men were their good old buds.

Well, how about a sharp kick in the belly? It never pays to hang out with guys who want to leave you in the gutter, this should be obvious. Why cops and firemen think these prissy men love them baffles me. Bush doesn't love them. He probably laughs, thinking about how they are all dying of lung damage while he sails on, safe, eventually to his huge ranch in Paraguay, home to more than one former dictator.

Ditto the poor people sent to Iraq. Gads. THINK!!! These guys aren't out to save anyone but themselves, these 'leaders who lead.'

Evidently, even the cops and firemen are finally figuring out they have been misled and even perhaps, betrayed!

A poll conducted last week by the New York Times and CBS news found that just 16% of Americans believe the Bush Administration is telling the truth about what they knew prior to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States.

Poll participants were asked, "do you think members of the Bush Administration are telling the truth, are mostly telling the truth but hiding something, or are they mostly lying?"

53% of respondents indicated they believe the Bush Administration was hiding something, and another 28% reported that they think the administration is mostly lying "when it comes to what they knew prior to September 11th, 2001, about possible terrorist attacks against the United States."

OK, guys. Repeat after me: Mr. President, YOU ARE UNDER ARREST! One hopes an army of detectives have figured out the obvious. A million cops suddenly understand that Bush is a multi-arrested career criminal! Gads, what does it take?

This has been obvious from day one but of course, everyone wanted not only tax cuts but to parade around the planet, being total jerks. Well, the party is over. And as per usual, the drunks should be carted to the drunk tank and booked.

Re New York Post Murdoch is courting Hillary - and vice versa. New Yorker Oct 16th issue has a story about him.

He knows that his compadres are likely to be swept from office, and he must start buying some new politicians.

I still can't digest the Paraguay story. Can you imagine Eisenhower or even Tricky Dick doing something like that?

In a way it would be a joy to see him leave and invite the whole goddamned right wing for an extended holiday.

Yup. Reagan trotted off to his Japanese masters for his $2.5 million dollar bribe but Bush plans to do what all embezzlers do: run off to Paraguay or Brazil.
