Hu Finishes World Tour Successfully

Hu of China wraps up a very successful world tour. In every country including the USA, he negotiated or wrapped up contracts worth many billions. He extended treaties and made alliances. He was insulted and abused by Bush which was very useful as a contrast to how cordially and formally he was feted elsewhere, showing the world that China is civilized and America run by crude barbarians. Gads.

Chinese President Hu Jintao and Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki agreed here Friday to make joint efforts to further promote bilateral long-term, stable and reciprocal cooperation in various fields.

During their talks, Hu expressed his satisfaction with the continuous development of bilateral relations and said China attaches great importance to bilateral relations and takes Kenya as an important cooperative partner in Africa.

To enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields, Hu made a four-point proposal.

The first is to keep high-level contacts, strengthen personnel exchanges, maintain exchanges of views on issues of common concern such as governance, economic development, improvement of peoples' lives, and international and regional issues. They should also strengthen coordination and cooperation in the multi-lateral arena such as the United Nations.

The second is to actively implement bilateral cooperative agreements on expanding trade and investment, and promote cooperation in processing trade, agriculture and development of human resources.

The third is to expand cooperation in such fields as culture, education, health, tourism, media, environmental protection and sports.

The fourth is to strengthen cooperation within the framework of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum and make joint efforts to ensure a success of the forum's meeting scheduled for November this year in Beijing.

He also had great success in Nigeria. ABCNews:

Chinese President Hu Jintao said Thursday his government will seek closer ties with Africa a resource-rich frontier of opportunity for the world's fastest growing economy after signing oil and other agreements with Nigeria.

Hu, on the second and final day of his visit to the West African nation, said China is seeking "a strategic partnership" with the continent that would improve living standards for Africa, he said.

China's interest and growing profile has worried Western rivals among them countries who may feel their colonial ties should give them an advantage for Africa's resources and markets. And some Africans have complained about being flooded with cheap Chinese goods.

We get a lot of oil from Nigeria which, apart from the very top elite, gets little in return except pollution and social turmoil. This visit rilled the American State Department no end.

Hu presented the same program to Morocco. Chinese Communist Party News:

On April 26, 2006, Chinese President Hu Jintao left Casablanca for Nigeria for a visit after successfully concluding his state visit to Morocco.

During his visit to Morocco, Hu held talks with King Mohammed VI and met with Moroccan parliament leaders. Both sides exchanged views on further developing bilateral friendly cooperative relations.

Related departments of the two countries also signed a range of agreements on cooperation in the areas of economy & trade, culture, medical care and health.

Hu arrived in Morocco's largest port city Casablanca for a visit from the capital city Rabat on the afternoon of April 25. In Casablanca, Hu met with representatives from the Chinese medical team to assist Morocco.

Both countries and their people enjoy a time-honored history of exchanges and Morocco is the second African country to establish diplomatic ties with the New China. Since the establishment of diplomatic ties 48 years ago, bilateral relations have been developing smoothly with frequent friendly exchanges at various levels and remarkable cooperation in all areas. In recent years, bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation in the economic and trade area has developed rapidly and last year the bilateral trade volume was near 1.5 billion US dollars, an increase of 28% over the same period of the previous year. Both sides have maintained sound communication and coordination in international affairs, as well as in China-Africa and Sino-Arab Forums.

Hu carefully tagged oil producing nations as his targets of opportunity. China intends to carefully woo these countries and engage them in a closer, friendlier relationship than presently exists for them vis a vis the USA. The United States, as the main supporter and financer of Israeli wars against the natives of Palestine, is hugely unpopular in most Muslim countries. China doesn't have this colonialist burden and thus, can extend alliances and make joint defense treaties without worry about popular dissent.

Now China unveils a very inexpensive but fairly agile fighter jet which is being made for export purposes. Xinhua Net:

The success of the 16-minute test flight marks a significant step in China's aviation industry, and makes mass production possible.

The Xiaolong series is a multipurpose light fighter aircraft developed by the China Aviation Industry Corporation I(CAIC-I), the Chengdu Aircraft Group Corp. and China Aero Technology Import and Export Corporation.

With advanced design and manufacturing technology, this export-oriented fighter plane is small, low in cost and suitable for modern warfare and the demands of military fighters, experts said.

The FC-1 made its successful maiden flight in August 2003, after about four years of development. The plane demonstrated outstanding mobility, and good interception and ground attack capabilities.

Some of the biggest export items the USA makes is a military/industrial products. We depend on this greatly for balancing "trade" with countries like Saudi Arabia. Our biggest money makers are military jets. As I pointed out in the past, China is most anxious to dominate world exports in the field of aviation products and the chances of this happening is very high. One problem about our military race to dominance against the Soviet Union is how both we and they left the rest of the world way behind in technology.

But the costs have been terrifically punishing. Russia went literally bankrupt and the USA is headed straight into bankruptcy, too, the barely armed insurrectionists of Iraq, like the identical ones in Afghanistan, use cheap, primitive methods to grind down a huge military machine like sand inside an engine.

These Chinese jets won't win fights against American jets but unlike our jets, if a few are shot down it is no big deal but every jet we might loose would be ruinous to replace. They are essentially gold-plated delicacies. Of course, we use our jet recklessly because we assume the Chinese will loan us infinite funds to build more and that means more jobs for America! Heh. Talk about insane.

Most countries are bankrupting themselves to buy expensive fighting equipment from America. To sell this gold plated disposables, we loan third world countries a lot of money which we get by borrowing from the Chinese, does anyone see the obvious feed-back circle here? Now the Chinese will go nose to nose in competition with our last, remaining export market for manufactured goods!

And they will win because they can not only underprice our gold plated over-developed goods, they can take avantage of their giant FOREX to offer loans that earn real interest. You see, our loans have an interest rate, too, but that really is merely a transfer of funds from China which earns real interest on loans, not a shadow version of it.

Next time Hu and Wen sally forth and they shall since they seldom stay home for very long, they will be showing off their new, stripped down, light but fast, jets. And they will find buyers. Another aspect of simpler technology is it is simpler to use, easier to explain and requires less technological know-how to operate. We can all see where that ends up! Instead of needing hyper-American technological support, the system is easier to maintain and use.

Meanwhile, our State Department and Bush are running around the planet, desperately trying to contain barely armed, tremendously poor peasants in Palestine and launching a war against Iran who is already torpedoing the American economy quite successfully. The American Federal banking system is madly printing money and shipping it to China to prevent the obvious effects of inflation from deflating the housing boom which continues unabated thanks to monetary manipulations. Keeping the public happy and the economy rolling requires keeping housing values artifically inflated and interest rates artificially low. And these efforts all involve keeping the status quo with China rolling which is why Hu went to DC to be feted, not sign any contracts or make any deals.

The present deal is super-dandy already.

England Has The Gall To Yell At China About Imperialism

After Bush insulted Hu, Jack Straw of England attacks the Chinese for not cooperating with the American/British/Israeli empire! He wants China to support our wars and disorders and extending military might all over the place including right up to China and Russia's borders. He wants China to "have wider responsibilities." This is a very dangerous wish, one that China plans on granting.

The Foreign Secretary will today warn that China has to "play by the rules" in order to match its new-found economic clout with political responsibility if it wants to become a constructive and "non-threatening" international partner.

In an unusually strongly worded speech reflecting mounting exasperation with China's refusal to join the Western consensus in dealing with thorny diplomatic problems such as Iran's nuclear threat and the Darfur conflict, Jack Straw will list specific areas where Beijing needs to reform.

OK. So, in the New World Order, refusing to join in attacking Iran is threatening? Eh? Wot? China wants the Anglo/American/Israeli empire to use diplomacy and this is a bad thing? I am literally agast and avast. Actually, this is tremendously funny. Seems the Chinese refusal to OK a UN war against an unarmed nation is pissing off our prima donna rulers!

If China wants to respond to the "core interests" of the international community, it must introduce "more democratic accountability, strengthened rule of law and improved governance," he will tell a seminar of specialists, politicians and businessmen at the Smith Institute.

As riots and disorders rage across the globe, this is particularily pathetic. Britain has, like the USA, decided the only way to run a vicious empire is to reduce freedoms at home and both states are rapidly turning into Big Brother police states that spy on the citizenry and citizens can be kidnapped, flown secretly to other countries and tortured. And one of the biggest prison systems in the world is right here in the USA! We still have some shreds of freedom of speech on line but off line, in the everyday world, we are virtually invisible except when character assassinations and open lies are heaped upon anyone going against the ruling elites.

Mr Straw will also argue that China must end restrictions in gaining access to the internet, and regarding freedom of expression. "I would argue that the best way to manage the social tensions within the country thrown up by rapid economic change is through political reform and greater enfranchisement of ordinary citizens."

We have voting here in America but counting the votes is controlled by the GOP and if screwing up the totals doesn't work, they simply decide to not count ANY votes and install their dictator, anyway. Bush is one of the most hated dictators on earth at this point. He has dragged down our country into the gutter and now guttersnipes us, covered in filth.

As for the internet: British and American rulers want to tame the internet. They hate the internet, at least the parts where people like me lurk. We are very hated for we use google and other tools to track their words and deeds so they can't deep six facts down a memory hole to suit their temporary propaganda needs.

So I say, "bring it on!"

"We want to see a predictable and reliable international partner in addressing the common challenges of the 21st century and a China which is seen to be managing the economic, political, environmental and social risks of its rapid development," Mr Straw will say.

OK, so who didn't sign the Kyoto Accords? OH! The USA! Whoo hoo. Who is the number one green house gas polluter? The USA! Who is cutting down environmental regulations, cutting old forests, new forests, pumping oil everywhere, ignoring ozone caused by huge traffic jams of gas guzzling SUVs? The USA! And social risks! This month, children at several schools conspired to kill all their classmates. 40% of the workers in America earning less than $40,000 a year have zero health insurance! The displaced poor from New Orleans are now homeless! We can't rebuild a city!

Um, England is having a child obesity crisis, 30% of their children are way too fat. English schools are declining into chaos, drunken mobs trash city centers every weekend and rampage across the globe, then there are all the soccer riots caused by drunk Brits, um. Anyone ever hear the saying, "Don't throw rocks if you live in a the Crystal Palace"?

Noting that China is now present in in 49 countries across Africa, and had invested in both Iran and Sudan, Mr Straw will urge the Communist leadership to consider the broader picture and the "wider responsibilities."

China should be "a partner which plays by the rules of global business, contributes to international security and stability, looks for cooperative and market-oriented ways to secure energy supplies, and works with others to promote sustainable development and good governance," Mr Straw will say.

OK, China is using exactly zero troops to take oil unlike the USA and Britain. Hu and Wen sign joint venture contracts with oil pumping nations. They offer social and infrastructure assistance, not bombs. They sell defensive weapons to nations menaced by the oil drunk duo, Bush and Blair. Unlike the USA, China has a huge FOREX with which they can bid for oil. America has IOUs. And what is stability?

The USA and Britain believe it is all about power for their little empire. It means no one challenges the empire as it sucks the world dry of all resources while handing out cheap scraps of paper which are essentially IOUs which we have no intention of honoring. Because China IS playing by the rules, this pisses off the slackers in America and Britain who want to play with imperial rules which means, they suck up everything and keep order by killing peasants in distant lands. And let's not talk about Africa and responsible imperialism. Ahem. Slaves, anyone? America's wealth was thanks to the blood and sweat of millions of African slaves.

Jack Straw imagines that the Chinese don't remember any history. This is a mistake. They remember perfectly well the Opium Wars which Britain inflicted on them. In this war, to set up unfair trade, since the Chinese didn't want to purchase goods made by Britain and Britain wanted Chinese silks, artwork, china (geeze, wonder why fine dishes got THAT name!) and teas, they had to pay cash and this ticked them off. They found they could make the Chinese into addicts and bring in opium from Afghanistan and India, two other countries they had recently conquered. So this was the roots of the financial wonders of Industrial Britain. This is the mysterious "capital" the merchantile class used to launch their many factories. Gee whizzikers.

Forcing the Chinese to become drug addicts and stealing from Indian peasants. Isn't that sweet.

The Growing Power of The Shanghai Cooperation Organization

Flying pretty much below the American media radar is the Shanghai Cooperation Organization which is increasingly strengthening and is now moving rapidly into what we like to think is our zone of influence in the Middle East and along the borders of Russia. Iran might be the newest member of this growing group.

PRESIDENT Hu Jintao signalled yesterday that Beijing would play a greater role in the affairs of the Middle East when he paid a historic visit to Saudi Arabia, the main supplier of oil for China’s growing economy.
In an address to the Shura council, Saudi Arabia’s appointed legislature, the Chinese leader promised to work with Riyadh and other Arab governments on securing peace in the region.

“The Middle East is a vital region and there will be no achievements and development in the world without a stable Middle East,” said Mr Hu, only the second foreign leader invited to address the assembly.

“Under these current circumstances, China is ready to work with Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries to support peace and growth in the Middle East and build a harmonious world that enjoys constant peace and prosperity.”

Although he did not offer any specifics, Mr Hu’s remarks were seen as a direct challenge to the United States, which for the past half century has dominated security and diplomacy in the region.

After Bush insulted Hu repeatedly, Hu flew off in his well-travelled dragon and plopped down right in the heart of our Middle Eastern Principality and dropped China's latest Go stone on the international Go game board. Or you might say, Hu is Castelling our King! Bush can't address Parliament in London or Canada or even go visit Congress much anymore but Hu was recieved quite enthusiastically by the Saudi Royals. They desperately need to triangulate power and Hu offered them a deal they can't refuse.

Namely, he will have China lean their way in the future. And since he has the same deal with Iran, this means, as far as the Saudis are concerned, he will keep them under some control. The Saudis may even end up joining the Shanghai Cooperation Organization so maybe it is time to learn something about this group which seems to be nearly totally ignored by the media and the neo-cons have to pretend it is not important only because this means admitting our little venture of putting in troops and bases in former Soviet states that border Russia and China is a complete, smoking ruin of a failure which it happens to be.

Putin opens SCO meeting in Moscow on October 26
As top officials from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) gathered in Moscow on October 26, they reiterated earlier pledges to expand economic ties in Central Eurasia. The meeting also confirmed the SCO's ambitious goal of becoming a major global player.

Prime ministers from member states Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan, as well as top officials from observer states, including Pakistani Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and Indian Foreign Minister Natwar Singh, attended the SCO meeting in Moscow. The officials inked agreements on strategies for responding to emergency situations and on inter-bank cooperation; they also approved the SCO budget for 2006.

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov hailed the SCO "road map," a blueprint for expanding multilateral trade and economic ties (Itar-Tass, October 26). The Inter-bank SCO Council was created to fund future joint projects, although no details of the planned ventures were released at the meeting. However, SCO Executive Secretary Zhang Deguan said the SCO would prioritize joint energy projects, including the expanding oil and gas sector, exploration of new hydrocarbon reserves, and joint use of water resources.

Meanwhile, bilateral economic ties between Russia and China are emerging as the core of a future SCO development. Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao reportedly agreed that bilateral trade turnover might exceed $28 billion this year. "I hope this happens," Putin said.

Compared to trade with the USA, this is petty change. But the trade with the USA is extremely lopsided and the only advantage to the Chinese is they can accumulate FOREX reserves and then turn around and use it ouside of America to gain tremendous influence which is what they are doing very successfully. Unlike the Japanese, they know they dare not build up too great an investment within the American borders because the infrastructure would remain here and can be siezed by the state whenever we wish and this chance of this happening is very high.

The Saudis worry about this, too, incidentally. Also, they sell increasing amounts of oil to China and China would rather do a trade-off rather than sell to America, collect essentially pieces of paper and then float that back through Iran and Saudi Arabia. China will let the yuan rise against the dollar once they have all their diplomatic/economic duckies lined up and the SCO is a fairly new entity and really hasn't had all that much influence until two years ago when Bush finally insulted Putin one last, fatal time. The most recent visit of Bush and Condi to Moscow was merely a chance for Putin to rub Bush's nose is a bunch of pro-Communism parades.

However, the SCO is understood to be mulling ambitious global goals, well beyond plans for expanding economic ties. "The SCO has gone beyond the framework of its initially stated goals," Putin said when greeting the SCO prime ministers at the Kremlin. He reiterated that the combined population of the SCO member states and observer countries exceeds 3 billion people. Therefore the SCO leaders are in a unique position to work out decisions that affect the majority of the global population. "It is a significant factor of global politics," Putin said (RIA-Novosti, Interfax, October 26).

The Moscow meeting came as an indication that further SCO expansion may be on the horizon. Pakistan's Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz revealed plans for his country to join the SCO eventually. "We aim at becoming full members of the SCO, of course," he told journalists in Moscow. In particular, Pakistan prioritizes economic and anti-terrorism cooperation within the SCO, Aziz said (Interfax, October 27).

Reflecting the SCO's global ambitions, the Moscow summit also dealt with issues of Eurasian stability and security. Kazakhstan is particularly interested in the SCO's foreign policy priorities, and Kazakh Prime Minister Daniyal Akhmetov noted, "The SCO guarantees stability in the region" (Kazinform, October 26).

And this organization will expand. If it gets Saudi Arabia and Iran to sign up, this will be a hyper-OPEC linked to China! I read elsewhere this week, the King of Saudi Arabia comparing America and China as "two wives," which is diplomatese for "we have more than one country to sleep with at night, naaaay!" Americans have become unbearably haughty. I noticed this in the run up to and invasion of Iraq, we went in, sneering and nasty. Proud and overbearing. Now we are being blown up all over the place. We put up military bases in all the "stan" countries and filled them with sneering soldiery that seek prostitutes and drinks, rilling the native populations and fuelling the bin Laden revolution by the mere fact that they are breaking Islamic laws so blatantly.

All the countries running to China are asking for stability not revolution. The fact that imperial America, in order to market the many invasions we sponsor, have talked about revolution and mass demonstrations to overturn governments, this frightens leaders in these thar parts and they are now banding together under the aegis of Russia and China who both struggle with the same religious/population pressures and unlike America, understands peasants and how persistent and difficult they can be if not handled right.

Of course, this means repressing them successfully. Not that we are better, we not only have to kill zillions of peasants all the time, we end up with it getting worse and worse! So we bring the worst of both possible worlds: continuous revolutions aimed squarely at our attempt to bring endless revolutions!

And then there is Israel. Xinhua Net:

An Iranian newspaper on Sunday dismissed alleged Israeli plot to assassinate Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as state terrorism.

"The Zionist regime will never dare to assassinate the Iranian president, its explicit threat will increase Islamic nations' hatred of Israel," the Tehran Times said in an editorial.

Saturday's edition of the Israeli daily Haaretz quoted an Israeli security official as saying that Israeli Mossad intelligence agency is plotting an assassination on Ahmadinejad and the Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haneya.

"The publication of such news in the Israeli media and the clear statements of Zionist officials about assassination were violations of international law, these indicate that Israel is still vigorously pursuing a policy of state terrorism," said the paper.

Tehran Times also urged international community, mainly the United Nations, to immediately condemn the threat of the Zionist regime and to take serious measures against the state-sponsored terrorism.

All the world views Israel=USA. And this is 100% correct. When Israel began to openly assassinate Palestinian popular leaders, the USA stood mute and blocked any UN attempts at stopping this. Now we see the Pentagon lusting to imitate the Israelis and here we go, too, off the cliff, into assassinate the leader mode. Of course, our rulers go about surrounded by a horde of armed military guards that scour the land of any citizens, no one is even allowed to peep out a window, shades of the Jackal! We all have to avoid anywhere our ruler treads because he is terrified of being assassinated so it makes perfect sense that he is now rubberstamping the assassination of other countries' leaders which is very dire indeed for if any of them are killed, they can rightfully blame us!

India has experimented with killing their own leaders, too, ditto, Pakistan and China that borders both doesn't want constant bloody turn-overs, they prefer stability, not instability. China has no desire to invade India unlike England, for example. They want to do business with and get goodies from India. The same goes for Russia. Content with their borders, they want to run a merchantile empire that avoids the mistakes America and England made.

The English tried the mercantile empire and then it rapidly became a Spanish-style one which is why is collapsed so totally and violently. Unable to fight even the Japanese on bicycles! It just rotted away, bankrupt and corrupt.

Russia Rescues Iran, Everyone Mocks Bush

Russia and Iran announce several joint ventures all of which are designed to prevent an American attack. While we play war games right on top of Iran's borders, they make deals with a very angry Putin who wants to be erase the agony of Chechnya and resume friendly relations with Muslim countries. Meanwhile, many more American, Canadian and Iraqi soldiers are blown up.

TEHRAN, Iran - Iran's envoy to the U.N. nuclear watchdog agency said Saturday the Islamic republic had reached a "basic deal" with the Kremlin to form a joint uranium enrichment venture on Russian territory, state-run television reported.

Ali Asghar Soltanieh, envoy to the International Atomic Energy Agency, "spoke of a basic agreement between Iran and Russia to set up a joint uranium enrichment firm on Russian soil," Iranian state television reported.

It remained unclear, though, whether Iran would entirely give up enrichment at home, a top demand of the West, or whether the joint venture would complement Iran's existing enrichment program. Enriched uranium can be used to fuel nuclear reactors that generate electricity or to make atomic bombs.

"Only issues regarding technical, legal and financial matters remain to be resolved which need more deliberation and exchange of views," the television quoted Soltanieh as saying Saturday in Moscow.

We are not privy to what is going on. No country in the know is telling us. We get to find out when and how they want us to know, we are totally outside. Far from being the power brokers, we are the broken power. Like England, back when they still harbored delusions of empire after the end of WWII, we go around, poking at everyone, fighting the natives everywhere, sneering and strutting but we can't even scare anyone much less compell anything.

Scotsman:

"We firmly stand for resolving the problems in and around Tehran diplomatically rather than militarily," Oleg Ozerov, deputy director of the Foreign Ministry's Middle East and North Africa Department, said. "Increasing international pressure on Iran has no prospects."

With the international community urging Iran to halt uranium enrichment and the US pushing for sanctions, Ozerov said "the further increase in pressure on Iran could have the opposite effect", and lead to Iran's total refusal to cooperate with the International Atomic Energy Agency. "The forceful option is extremely dangerous and not constructive," Ozerov told a seminar on global security.

This is obviously Putin red flagging Bush. This red flag has sharp teeth.

Russia Journal:

The chief of the General Staff said Wednesday that Russia would honor its commitments on supplying military equipment to Iran.
“We discussed supplies of military equipment to Iran, including the Tor M1, in the framework of bilateral cooperation, but it does not fall into the category of strategic weapons,” Army General Yury Baluyevsky said after talks in Moscow with NATO Supreme Allied Commander in Europe General James Jones.
“And I can assure you it will be delivered under the control of the relevant organizations,” he said.
At the end of 2005, Russia concluded a $700-million contract on the delivery of 29 Tor M1 air defense systems to Iran.

The Tor-M1 is a fifth-generation integrated mobile air defense system designed for operation at medium, low and very low altitudes against fixed/rotary wing aircraft, UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicle), guided missiles and other high-precision weapons.

Despite strong criticism from the United States, Russia has maintained that the systems could be used only to protect Iran’s air space.

We want a totally disarmed Iran just like Iraq. Bush is on the defensive this week, lying yet again about his war plans back in 2002. He didn't finalize the plan to invade, he claims, until after the UN report clearly showing Saddam didn't have even the tinniest WMD in his possession and THAT was the day Bush decided to invade! And he thinks this is OK? This makes it a worse war crime!

Of course, we won't even do bombings from the sky because we are going bankrupt and need money for Homeland Security puppet shows! If there will be any fighting, it will be like 9/11, the Pentagon on fire only it won't be "terrorists" attacking but retired generals and Murtha storming Rumsfeld's office.

Hu Visits Saudi Arabia--Gets Red Carpet And Lots of Great Deals

The disintigration of our foreign diplomacy continues apace. The very insulted President Hu of China flew to Saudi Arabia, got the full red carpet treatment and signed many contracts, all of which are designed to undermine our own deals there. This is because China has the biggest FOREX booty on earth bar NO ONE.

Hindu Press:

Chinese President Hu Jintao today began a three-day visit to Riyadh during which he will hold meetings with top Saudi officials and sign several trade agreements that will further enhance burgeoning relations between the countries, especially oil.

Hu, who flew in from the United States, was expected to hold talks with King Abdullah and Crown Prince Sultan.

Hu's trip to Saudi Arabia came three months after Abdullah's visit to China on his first overseas tour as king.

During that visit, the first by a Saudi monarch since Saudi Arabia and China formed diplomatic relations in 1990, the countries signed an agreement on energy cooperation, covering trade in oil, natural gas and minerals. Four other agreements were signed, including one on economic, trade and technical cooperation, and another banning dual taxation.

Hu's trip comes as Saudi Arabia is opening up to Asia's growing economic powers in a bid, analysts say, to find stable markets for its oil, step up its international diplomacy and show the West, particularly the United States, that if relations worsen, the kingdom has other alternatives.

Saudi newspapers, which are government guided, carried advertisements bought by Saudi companies welcoming the Chinese leader. Several said the trip would further strengthen relations between Saudi Arabia, the world's largest oil producer, and China, the world's No 2 oil consumer.

A triumph for China. A huge triumph. I bet the King told Hu all about how Bush hugged and kissed him. I bet they laughed about it, about how Bubble Boy became the Sultan's horse to ride at his leisure. They probably traded secrets about how Bush blushes when a world leader winks at him. They probably speculated about how Putin plans to discipline BB. I bet they will video tape this.

Gads. Bush's "personal diplomacy" is laced with all sorts of really disconcerting hypersexual activities like when he danced around Wen and Putin with his pants unzippered at a World Trade conference! This man is nuts, a screaming mass of Freudian barely repressed sexual urges which he wields like a drunk teen's wiggler. It is barely thinkable, what this clown does in private after seeing what he does in public.

And the press in America lies like crazy. The mainstream media claimed Bush saved Hu from going down the wrong steps by yanking on his coat. Well, I saw the pictures and there was no exit, they were on the steps in front of the White House, in the open! And Hu was ending the ceremony and started to walk off but Bush wanted him to stand there so without a word and with his sexually sick face screwed up in a sneer, he deliberately yanked on the Chinese leader's sleeve, ordering him to stand there until BUSH left. Just like when Bush ran in front of Clinton and Bush Sr at Clinton's library opening, he had to be first or else! Like a little boy toy.

I will note that all the pictures of Hu and the Saudis, they escort him carefully, they have full honors for him, unlike Bush who they contemptously treat as their eunach, this man, they treated as an equal. Hu looks stern when striding down the red carpets but when seated alongside the King, he is cordial. This is appropriate!

He came, as usual, with money and contracts! And they were signed! And the Saudis let him know, China is the #2 buying of world oil now and they want to be the suppliers and they know China has the hard cash and the dollar is doomed to go down and down and down and the yuan up and up and up as the world begins to understand, America is dying and China is buying.

Nothing talks louder than money. We go to Saudi Arabia begging for them to buy stuff from us, to give us loans so we can buy their oil, we are beggars at their palace gates which is why they know they can spit in our eyes, even openly attack us and Bush will return, crawling in the sand!

Disgusting.

The dance of diplomacy is vital. We need to always put forwards a generous, superior face, the inept display in DC this week will be remembered for years as a sign of America's dying, not our power! Bah.

AMERICA Is World's Biggest Currency Manipulator, NOT China!

The disasterous visit by Hu has ended. Nothing has changed. One thing that really steams me is how virtually every American has been told or says, China manipulates their currency. AMERICA IS THE WORLD'S CURRENCY MANIPULATOR! We take advantage of the fact that we are the top currency to buy oil and we madly print money and then use it to buy things. This is why we have a trade deficit!

But he wasn't okay, not really. The protocol-obsessed Chinese leader suffered a day full of indignities -- some intentional, others just careless. The visit began with a slight when the official announcer said the band would play the "national anthem of the Republic of China" -- the official name of Taiwan. It continued when Vice President Cheney donned sunglasses for the ceremony, and again when Hu, attempting to leave the stage via the wrong staircase, was yanked back by his jacket. Hu looked down at his sleeve to see the president of the United States tugging at it as if redirecting an errant child.

Then there were the intentional slights. China wanted a formal state visit such as Jiang got, but the administration refused, calling it instead an "official" visit. Bush acquiesced to the 21-gun salute but insisted on a luncheon instead of a formal dinner, in the East Room instead of the State Dining Room. Even the visiting country's flags were missing from the lampposts near the White House.

But as protocol breaches go, it's hard to top the heckling of a foreign leader at the White House. Explaining the incident -- the first disruption at the executive mansion in recent memory -- White House and Secret Service officials said she was "a legitimate journalist" and that there was nothing suspicious in her background. In other words: Who knew?

Hu did. The Chinese had warned the White House to be careful about who was admitted to the ceremony. To no avail: They granted a one-day pass to Wang Wenyi of the Falun Gong publication Epoch Times. A quick Nexis search shows that in 2001, she slipped through a security cordon in Malta protecting Jiang (she had been denied media credentials) and got into an argument with him. The 47-year-old pathologist is expected to be charged today with attempting to harass a foreign official.

OK, Bush, the man utterly obsessed with preventing Americans from saying squat diddley around him, even removing a Republican Congressional wife from the State of the Disunion speech because she wore a t-shirt that talked about troops in Iraq....let a notorious woman that everyone knows is a heckler, in "accidentally"? Hahaha. I bet the Chinese are laughing hard about this little number. Obviously, she was let in with full deliberation. The President's office knew who she was and what she would do and gave her a green card to do it and let her rage before escorting her out.

Great. Then Bush yanked at the coat of the Prime Minister of China? HUH? Good arfing grief. Why didn't he just throw up on his guest like daddy? The Bushes imagine themselves as tremendous diplomats because they literally kiss corrupt Saudi Princes? Cheney puts on dark glasses, eh? I will note that Cheney has a knack for looking undignified and ugly at public events. Like in Poland at a commemoration of the Holocaust, he looked like he came in from ice fishing or shooting lawyers.

Refusing to fly China's flag and calling the People's Republic of China the name of Taiwan's government is totally, completely, utterly irresponsible and undignified. These slights were not mistakes but deliberate provocations. This was basically a declaration of war. Yes, WWIII has begun, thank you, Bush. This is why the neocons running America shoved Russia and China together, why they are tagging Iran, why they are being so insulting. They know that America will rally to the flag if they start WWIII and if you poke a dragon in the eyeball a dozen times, the dragon might blast you with fire, right?

Then we can pretend it was their fault for reacting. What really steams me is how irresponsible America, the land running deep in the red on every level, budgetary, trade, everything, is trying to blame China, the country that has simply responded to our mad money printing to absorb the effects of inflation, blaming China for our economic woes! Every sane businessman in this sinking country MUST move ALL operations to China to avoid going bankrupt thanks to the mad money machine run first by Greenspan and now by Mr. Mad Printer Bernanke! Bernanke even rashly announced that thanks to the Chinese, we have no inflation so he can print more money and lend it to ourselves at a super-low rate thanks to our industrial and white collar base moving offshore! Whoop f----king whee!

Bush apologized to the angry Chinese leader in the Oval Office. "Frankly, we moved on," National Security Council official Dennis Wilder told reporters later. It was, he said, a "momentary blip."

Maybe, but Hu was in no mood to make concessions. In negotiations, he gave the U.S. side nothing tangible on delicate matters such as the nuclear problems in North Korea and Iran, the Chinese currency's value and the trade deficit with China.

Wilder pleaded for understanding. "Some people today want to see a quick fix to the trade imbalance," he explained. "But in the new global economy there is no quick fix."

There is no fix, period. This is because the USA has collectively decided to be utterly irresponsible. We love the present crooked system! Until someone stops us, we will continue on this destructive path. Why does the world's biggest empire play dumb? Because we can. Is playing dumb smart?

No. It is not. Vast wars have been launched by really stupid people. WWI is a prime example. The economic/diplomatic stresses that made that war so explosive could have been resolved if intelligent, sane people were running Russia, Germany, Austria and England. But they all had, as heads of state, very inbred, nearly identical in appearance, royals who were intermarried so madly, they were each other's uncles, cousins, mothers and fathers simultaneously. And they were all dumber than a box of rocks. So they blundered into WWI and blundered through WWI and set the stage for WWII.

England refused to acknowledge their empire was finis at the end of WWI and they kept the pound as the world's benchmark currency all the way through the Great Depression (um, how many historians recognize that the POUND was responsible for the world's collapse of currencies???)---even after WWII, the pound was kept as a benchmark until finally the dollar became it via simple fact of life, everyone wanted dollars to do business!

Here is an example of a stupid man acting like an infant terrible.

The meeting in the Oval Office brought more of the same. In front of the cameras, Bush thanked Hu for his "frankness" -- diplomatic code for disagreement -- and Hu stood expressionless. The two unexpectedly agreed to take questions from reporters, but Bush grew impatient as Hu gave a long answer about trade, made all the longer by the translation. Bush at one point tapped his foot on the ground. "It was a very comprehensive answer," he observed when Hu finished.

Hu's IQ dwarf's Bush's IQ. Well, a dead parrot's IQ would overwhelm Bush's intellectual talents, but still. This is the whole point! The "unexpected questions" were expected by Hu. He was not only fully prepared for it, he is quite capable of holding his own without mysterious boxes attached to his back, unlike Bush who should be impeached for cheating during the debates when he used a listening device to have answers fed to him. Bush can't even wait with a blank, dignified air like the brainless monster, Reagan! No, our little Napoleon has to angrily tap his foot and then he has to insult a world leader for giving an extended answer. One can imagine meetings to talk about strategy with this little twit. "Don't talk so much, shuddup!" He yells as he stomps around the Oval Office.

The reign of insults is going to end with a coalition of the insulted working to pull us down. And they can and they will because we stupidly decided to try to cheat everyone by giving them useless pieces of paper in exchange for physical objects. In the not-too-distant future, China will throw all our worthless paper into the world's moneystream and destroy our relative value. See? We want the yuan to be strong? This is how they will do it. Everyone will want yuan and no one will accept the One Eyed Pyramid.

Diplomatic Disasters: Bush Boasts About His Crummy Picnic Party

We have reached a sickening historical moment. Bush is incapable of having formal dinners (daddy threw up on the Japanese at one!) and Hu of China is forcing him to behave in a civilized way but he can't so the media pretends his ineptitude is a deliberate insult which will hurt HU, not Bush??? Insane. We are the laughing stock of the diplomatic world. This is very bad for us, very, very bad.

Mr Hu was all business at the start of his tour. Dinner at Bill Gates' house in Seattle, followed by a café latte with Howard Schultz, chairman of the Starbucks chain of coffee shops, then on to the Boeing plant, before moving to the east coast, with an itinerary that includes a speech at Mr Bush's alma mater, Yale.

I keep close track of Mr. Hu and Mr. Wen. Both travel around the world, a lot, and when at home, entertain a continuous stream of dignitaries seeking to do business with the Middle Kingdom. As I keep pointing out, Hu and Wen don't entertain or travel unless they can charge it as a business expense and they always, always, ALWAYS sign contracts. The only country they don't do this with is the USA and this is because our leaders are insane.

But this opening has been undermined before Mr Hu even arrives. The Chinese leader is being given full military honours on arrival but Mr Hu's journey is not being labelled an official "state visit" as such, but something further down the chain.

Hu forced Bush to hand over a 21 gun salute. I think we can't do this because we either don't have 21 soldiers with both arms and legs who can march out and shoot a volley or we have no more ammunition. Or both.

This is pathetic.

Face matters in Asia, and some are reading this as a loss of face for Mr Hu. A dangerous move perhaps, given the shape of things to come. For the Bush administration, the key issue is a huge trade imbalance which is turning ever more political. Cheap Chinese exports are flooding the US market and costing American jobs.

Gads! Ass backwards and upside down! Good grief, are we in for a world of hurt. People who can't understand reality get smacked repeatedly. Imagine Queen Elizabeth showing up in hair curlers and a cigarette dangling from her lips! Would her VISITOR loose face? Hahaha.

Nope. Not at all. This is why she always dresses carefully before appearing in public. Bush has had exactly 4 state dinners in 5 years. All but one to small nations or countries we dominate like Mexico. None for Russia or China! When Putin came to China, I blogged about how the Chinese rolled out the red carpet and catered to his every whim and desire and he signed many contracts, quite lucrative contracts.

Putin came here and was insulted and then Bush went to Russia and while approaching Russia, stopped in several countries and insulted Putin repeatedly until he came face to face with the KGB ruler. Putin hates Bush with a passion and is very happy he is running America off the cliff. The Chinese are delighted with Bush's bizarre and stupid diplomacy.

I suspect Bush is way too drunk by 6pm for any official dinners. He is so often drunk now, he can barely hang on to lunchtime before tippling the tulips.

And it is ideological too. China is not a democracy, its attitude on human rights leaves a lot to be desired and the Communist Party's treatment of organised religions angers the devoutly Christian Mr Bush. The feeling in Washington is that Beijing needs to do more to stave off the nuclear threat of North Korea and Iran, while China's courting of oil-rich, but politically suspect, countries in Africa and central Asia also rankles. A mixed bag of complaints, and the perceived absence of a clear line on China has angered some US lawmakers. The Senate Democratic leader, Harry Reid, said that Mr Bush "still has no coherent strategy for managing this nation's relationship with China".

This is standard propaganda. Courting oil-rich countries? Hahaha! Hu doesn't KISS the bastards. Bush kisses and bends over. This is ridiculous. How dare a major international publication publish such drivvel? This steams me no end. Obviously, this "expert" is a Jr. High child who can't read.

Reid is right about Bush. But I bet he can't say the next item: our lack of inflation (sic) is due entirely, totally and ONLY to the fact that China keeps prices down.

HALF of the world's manufactured goods are made in China. HALF! HALF!!!! What does that mean?

According to Dr. Kennedy who wrote about the relative power of empires, this means we are dead and gone. Our pretty empire is a paper tiger. Period. The smallest flame, we go poof and the flame is Iraq. How is Reid going to get our jobs to come back home? Will he kill the WTO? Will he put a tariff on FOREIGN OIL? So we stop feeding the dictators in Saudi Arabia money? And of course, Iran. And Russia. Growing stronger as we bleed to death, both love high oil prices, Venezeula is laughing to death at us, we snarl and snap. We spend over $200 million more a DAY for oil than last year and it is going up and up and up.

And we dare slap China! Japan just told us to jump in the lake about the Marines being moved. We want them to pay everything including several billion for building new homes for the Marines and even though we borrow hundreds of billions from the Japanese so we can send ten billion bucks a year to Israel so they can build homes on the West Bank illegally and build a ghetto wall, we can't build anything for Americans and the Japanese said, we will loan you even more money but no hand-outs so we are wailing like a baby.

One other interesting note about Hu: he has photographic memory. I bet he can read mirror image like I can. On so many levels, a dangerous man to tangle with, nearly as dangerous as Putin who is very similar. Then look at Bush's talents: he knows how to clear brush, maybe.

Bush Claims He Is A Decider

Our emperor can't speak English. Doing diplomacy in odd languages is not recommended. Of course, the Chinese will amuse themselves toying with this babbling idiot who loves screw ups. Alas, we won't like what happens afterwards.

President Bush sharply defended Donald Rumsfeld on Tuesday, saying the embattled Pentagon chief is doing a "fine job" despite calls for his resignation from six retired military generals.

Bush already had interrupted his Easter vacation at Camp David, Maryland, on Friday to release a public statement of support for the defense secretary.

Despite a practice of not usually commenting on personnel moves, the president told reporters Tuesday that his vote of confidence for Rumsfeld was an effort to stamp out speculation about his status. (Watch Bush, generals on Rumsfeld defense moves -- 1:30)

"You can understand why, because we've got people's reputations at stake," Bush said of his aversion to speculation about personnel matters.

"And on Friday I stood up and said, 'I don't appreciate the speculation about Don Rumsfeld; he's doing a fine job; I strongly support him.'"

Pressed to respond to critics who say he is ignoring the advice of respected former military commanders, Bush vigorously stood by Rumsfeld.

"I listen to all voices, but mine is the final decision," he said. "And Don Rumsfeld is doing a fine job. He's not only transforming the military, he's fighting a war on terror. He's helping us fight a war on terror. I have strong confidence in Don Rumsfeld.

"I hear the voices, and I read the front page, and I know the speculation. But I'm the decider, and I decide what is best. And what's best is for Don Rumsfeld to remain as the secretary of defense."

You know, if you walk into a hospital and tell them "I hear voices" and already have a reputation of killing people and torturing small animals, they would lock you in the looney bin. And Bush is insane. It is obvious no matter how hard you squint, he is mad. Hamlet pretended to be mad to hide the fact that he was simply angry as hell but Bush is stark raving mad. This is why he loves Rumsfeld who is a simple psychopathological murderer. And then there is Cheney. He is a total psychopath on the level of "Psycho", it wouldn't surprise me to find the mummy of his mommy in a closet. Well, Bush worships Geronimo's skull so I suppose he is "Psycho" too but the horror is, these idiots who happen to be totally wonkers are negotiating contracts with Hu and Wen as well as where and how and whatever.

We are so doomed. This is probably why the top billionaires met Hu out west, not in DC. They want to cut a separate deal. Smart move.

Alas, the deal is to move all American jobs out of this country. Traitors. Rats.

Arrest them all but put Bush in with the Napoleon and Presley imitators.

As Hu Visits Our Rich, The Media Screams About Dictators

As the knee-jerk criticisms of China supporting dictatorships echoes through American media outlets, the Washington Post begs Condi to stop kissing up to dictators who have oil, meanwhile, Americans who are really OPEC agents get to skim off billions dollars like the recent head of Exxon/Mobile Oil just picked up nearly half a billion when he retired.

WITH A LAND mass similar to Maryland's, Equatorial Guinea has the fortune to be Africa's third-largest oil producer. The money from black gold helps to explain how the president, Teodoro Obiang Nguema, has bought large homes in France and Morocco, as well as two in Potomac, and how his son and presumed heir bought a Lamborghini and two Bentleys during a shopping spree in South Africa. But oil has done little to help Equatorial Guinea's 540,000 people, some 400,000 of whom suffer from malnutrition. Those who are hungry know better than to complain. According to State Department reports, the president's goons have urinated on prisoners, sliced their ears and smeared them with oil to attract stinging ants.

So it is uncontroversial to observe that Mr. Obiang is no friend to his people. But he is a "good friend" of the United States, at least according to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, who met with him last week in Washington. "I'm very pleased to welcome the president," Ms. Rice told reporters after the meeting. "Thank you very much for your presence here." Mr. Obiang purred back: "We are extremely pleased and hopeful that this relationship will continue to grow in friendship and cooperation."

It is getting pretty tiresome, this finger pointing by Condi and Bush even as they do what they accuse others of doing. It fools nobody except Americans who trustingly absorb all the propaganda. On every level of the media we get stories about how China isn't a democracy, as if we are one, and how China supports dangerous dictators even as we move heaven and earth to keep truly hideous men in power such as the obviously corrupt and vicious Saudi Royals. Just like we tout freedom of religion as we prop up the vicious regime in Saudi Arabia that even sent out jihadists to successfully attack America, thus starting a series of wars against enemies of the Saudi Royals! And incidentally driving up the world price of oil which benefits them greatly, too!

America has embraced every bloody hellish dictator who has oil. We also love dictators who take over democratic countries that vote into office anyone even faintly socialist. Dictators who crush unions are the biggest love of our ruling class. And our ruling class is just as looting-minded as the pettiest dictator in Africa! Even as Americans suffer from increasingly costly energy, the ruling elite award themselves tremendous funds in recognition of their successful theft of our natural resources which supposedly belong to America.

Last year's high oil prices not only helped Exxon Mobil report $36 billion in profit, the most ever for any corporation; they also allowed the chairman, Lee Raymond, to retire in style.
Raymond received a compensation package worth about $140 million last year, including cash, stock, options and a pension plan. He is still entitled to stock, options and long-term compensation worth at least another $258 million, according to a proxy statement filed by Exxon with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Wednesday.
The total sum for Raymond's golden years comes to at least $398 million, among the richest compensation packages ever. The record was the payout of $550 million to Michael Eisner, the former head of Walt Disney, in 1997.
Exxon's board also agreed to pick up Raymond's country club fees, allow him to use the company aircraft and pay him another $1 million to stay on as a consultant for another year. Raymond agreed to reimburse Exxon partly when he uses the company jet for personal travel.
"When is enough, enough?" said Brian Foley, an executive compensation consultant in White Plains, New York. "This looks like a spigot that you can't turn off."

This actually made headlines all over the place. It rather amused me since the same right wing papers that got all hot under the collar over this are the same that scream at Venezuela which is forcing Exxon/Mobile to share the profits with the people and spend money on public affairs rather than siphooning it all away to secretive individuals who then use it to corrupt the political system!

Super-rich Americans are TRAITORS. They have heavily funded political parties to subvert the national government and they ran successful public relation and political campaigns to to cut their own taxes and have not sucked up the entire Social Security funds to use as IOUs to be paid by much higher taxes in the future, this whole mess was sponsored by them, promoted by them and they are intent on driving us all into poverty just so they can have billions of dollars for themselves. Hu, of China, visited Bill Gates before he goes into DC to laugh in Bush's face. Hu knows that all American executives are traitors and will cooperate with his plans to decimate America's industrial base even as Exxon/Mobile works with various oil dictators to destabilize democracy here at home. All these forces are coming together to create the conditions for a full dictatorship here in America, one run by the oil companies who must forcibly loot the last of our natural resources while at the same time, forcing us to pay for their military machine that fights only for their oil businesses. The Saudi royals have zero interest in defending America and tons of interest in keeping Iraq under the American thumb. Mr. Bush, in his second inaugural address, promised to confront "every ruler and every nation" that resisted the tide of freedom. But frustratingly for an administration that has painted the world with such broad brush strokes, the relationship with authoritarian China has tended to resist breakthroughs.

America, thanks to WWII, went around the planet talking about how we were liberators who loved freedom and democracy except for minorities in America who were of course, considered sub-humans. The only reason the Civil Rights movement succeeded in the end was due to the fact that our propaganda campaign was collapsing as the entire world watched our country abuse minoritie right there on TV. Today, we support apartheid countries like Israel or Saudi Arabia and all the dictators or civil rights violators in the world are welcomed with open arms unless we need to push them around and stupidly, we chose to push Russia and China around.

Russia is regaining first world power status. The higher the price of energy, the more power flows to Russia. Putin already showed his iron fist to Europe this winter. This is why the leaders there are running around in small circles, desperate to please America because they run a trade surplus with us and freaking out over Russia which has a trade surplus with them! They need the surplus with us to pay the deficit to Russia! This is why they are wringing their hands as America demands support for bombing Iran and Russia and China forbid this.

It is interesting watching the Chinese prepare for Hu's visit to America. Even after he tells the bald-faced lie that he is "too busy in China" to do international politics, his itenerary for this latest grand tour takes him first to the USA where he plans to visit Seattle first, stopping to chat with our powerful billionaires, to DC and then off to Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Nigeria and Kenya. Note that most of these are major oil pumping countries!

The Chinese understand schools are very important and they are working hard to improve their own schools and are building institutes and centers of higher learning, they even opened a school for diplomacy!

This week's visit from Chinese President Hu Jintao will inflame two kinds of economic pessimism. The first holds that China is forcing a race to the bottom: Its legions of poor workers are driving down U.S. wages. The second claims that China is racing to the top: It's spending ever more on science and engineering. Both sorts of pessimism are only half right. Both miss the real source of U.S. economic dynamism.

It's true that American wages are stagnant and that they cry out for progressive tax and social policies. But it's crazy to argue that stagnant wages are the main explanation for the success of American business. Just because Detroit's carmakers are fighting to cut union benefits, it doesn't follow that constraining pay is the top issue for most companies.

This is a totally whacky analysis which repeats mindlessly various propaganda points that Americans seem addicted to, namely, we don't have to fear China because we are oh-so-very clever at other things, in this case, the last two things we have left: marketing and financing.

Of course, finance happens to be out biggest failure, not successful at all! The vast seas of red ink are the signs of a stupidly-run, rotted financial system that is on the verge of collapse. The only thing keeping it running is Chinese labor.

Consider a firm such as Wal-Mart, an alleged front-runner in the race to the bottom. Wal-Mart's employees get market wages, otherwise they wouldn't stay there. But even if its army of 1 million-plus hourly workers got a 20 percent raise, that extra cost would wipe out only about a third of Wal-Mart's 2005 profit. The retailer's success lies in something other than low wages.

The "something" that made Walmart so successful was "Chinese low wage labor." Period. There was no other magic. The various distribution systems were not all that great. Go to any Walmart. They are, for the most part, filthy warehouses filled with mostly Chinese goods, their wretched workers missing teeth and poorly groomed and often grossly overweight from eating low-health value junk food. It is all about being very cheap.

Likewise, it's true that China is striving to catch up in science, hiring Western professors and pressing its researchers to publish in international journals. But there is no straight-line connection between scientific progress and economic advance. What matters is how companies deploy technology. Americans are good at that.

Who is Hu visiting? Oh yes! American corporate executives who are oh-so-cleverly increasing their own profit margins by farming out all our intellectual pursuits as well as factories to China! They are literally deploying all this to China who is madly building technical institutes and churning out many scientists and technicians! China has over four times our population!

Innovation often springs from this interdisciplinary fusion. It depends on neither low wages nor science. It's not about a lone inventor in a lab. It's really about teamwork.

For one reason or another, American business excels at this. Our much-maligned education system seems to encourage people to think across categories and take risks. Our freewheeling and undeferential culture is good for interdisciplinary cooperation. And then there is the role played by U.S. business schools, which increasingly focus on the skills that make this teamwork possible.

"Teamwork" is a joke. As corporate America turns everyone into used tissue, instead of a culture of people willing to stand up to the boss, we have desperate workers trying to say "yes" as much as possible which is why our elites are increasingly in charge of scams rather than real business. Take the energy business! The Enron trials reveal a bunch of lying scumbags pretending they were all too stupid to scheme to rip off consumers and investors! They sort of just stumbled into their crimes which were really plotted by their underlings who got little reward for these actions, of course, they were just pesky people wanting to rip off consumers and investors!

So it seems the chief American product we are now producing is a bunch of whiny rip-off artists who blame the servants. What a role model to hold up to China! No wonder Hu has an easy time winning the hearts and minds of the rulers of many countries, even here! He knows how to run a tight ship and how to suppress dissent without too much fuss or muss, just a few dead peasants! Our inability to do this in Iraq is on display. We can't even market our oppression! Gads.

No wonder Hu is so popular with our rich.

American Pundits and Politicians Totally Fooled By China

President Hu of China's visit set the stage for the next round of playing Go, a game featuring a blind idiot vs one of the smarter leaders in the world. America is losing every round. Hu is pulling our leg so hard, it just got yanked off and we don't know it.

BEIJING, April 16 — China and the United States have engaged in public disputes about trade, human rights, military spending and energy security, but for just a moment late last year, their leaders put briefing books aside and agreed to talk privately.

With an aura of candor described as unusual for Chinese leaders, President Hu Jintao told President Bush that fighting political corruption, rural unrest, a widening wealth gap and severe pollution consumes nearly all his time. He said domestic problems left China with neither the will nor the means to challenge America's dominance in world affairs, according to two Bush administration officials who were told about the session.

Hahaha. Obviously, the reporter here never ever visits my blog. And you can bet, never ever will! Being stupid is necessary if one wants to be a reporter for any major American publication. Readers of this lonely, little blog know that President Hu and Prime Minister Wen are probably the two busiest jet setters on this planet. They alternate being home and being away. There is always one or the other, away, indeed, if one is home, he is playing host to someone they are both courting and they have nailed the methodology of courtship. They understand how one plays diplomacy.

Watching them verus Bush is like watching a concerto competition between Rachmaninoff and the Three Stooges. The Chinese international Do It Duo always make certain there is a pile of papers for various deals sitting there to be signed when they travel and they always carry a particular piece of paper to sign which they always present to their hosts: a document asserting that China and Taiwan are one country.

Hu presented this to Bush today and Bush ran around in circles, clucking.

The overture — described as having improved Mr. Hu's ties with Mr. Bush despite the Chinese leader's generally aloof style — is part of a Chinese effort to reduce, or at least to deflect, American anxiety about the country's growing economic, political and military power.

When Mr. Hu travels to Washington this week for his first White House visit as China's top leader, the question will be whether the improved chemistry between the heads of the world's richest nation and its fastest rising rival can enhance a relationship that seems to be stuck somewhere between tentative stability and stormy tension.

"At the top level, the two have become frank and pragmatic in discussing the major issues between them," said Michael Green, the former director of Asian affairs at the National Security Council who is now at Georgetown University. "But China is also trying to expand its influence in the world at the expense of the U.S., which is not something we are going to give them a pass on."

So, the USA, a beggar going about the planet demanding or pleading for every single spare dollar anyone has to give to us to balance our way out of wack budgets, is going to stop "Mr. Top Dollar FOREX"? Hahaha. Laugh to death time.

This shows the sheer level of lunacy all our pundits and panderers and panda-poos exhibit. They have no idea that money talks and lots of money talks lots louder than beggars demanding tribute or goodies. Even Japan has told us to jump in a lake this month! They ain't forking over a single yen, only loans at 5.3% per annum.

Mr. Bush, in his second inaugural address, promised to confront "every ruler and every nation" that resisted the tide of freedom. But frustratingly for an administration that has painted the world with such broad brush strokes, the relationship with authoritarian China has tended to resist breakthroughs.

Unlike the "Ping-Pong diplomacy" that led to Richard Nixon's historic handshake with Mao in 1972, the incremental talks on the main issues that divide the two nations have seemed to leave officials fatigued. Those issues include the control of nuclear proliferation in Iran and North Korea, China's support for several resource-rich dictatorships that are hostile to the United States, its gaping trade surplus and poor human rights record, and the always delicate question of American backing for Taiwan, which Beijing claims as its sovereign territory.

RIGHT NOW we are blasting away in BAGDAD! Killing and killing and bombing and screaming and Jafaari won't step down and let us put in a new dictator in Iraq and we are best buddies with the Saudis who are dictators big time and etc. We never ever have seen a dictator we didn't want to coo and kiss! We love dictators so much, we go out of our way to kill democratically elected leaders!

Bush and Hu announce more stuff about those darn 80 Boeing jets that China refuses to sign the contract to deliver. China keeps pretending to buy them, Boeing won't drop the price so China throws broad hints they better play ball or else. No one seems to get the drift the Chinese shoot another missile across our prow.

Chinese Vice-Premier Zeng Peiyan called for technological breakthroughs in key areas to make China a global power in aviation industry.

He made the remarks at a meeting in Beijing Monday to commemorate the 55th anniversary of the founding of China's aviation industry.

China's aviation industry has grown into an important sector with relatively complete manufacturing and research systems and has made significant contribution to the national economic construction, Zeng said.

The vice-premier said China aims to greatly boost its aviation industry during the 11th Five-Year Plan period (2006-2010).

OK! Reality check! China has asked Boeing to put up factories in China, they refused so the 80 jet deal will drag along mournfully, already, the billions that might magically appear, are used to make our trade deficit look smaller. In South Korea, there was a violent battle between farmers and their own government which has finally allowed American rice which is produced by only a very few very well connected business corporate "farmers" here in America using nearly only illegal Mexican labor,---the Koreans consider this totally unfair and hurts small farmers in Asia who don't hire illegal aliens to do their work while they hang out in big cities! And they will punish their government until it falls, this is no joke.

Whether questionable parts ended up in hundreds of Boeing 737s is the subject of a bitter dispute between the aerospace company and Prewitt and two other whistle-blowers. The two sides also have enormously different views on what that could mean for the safety of the jets.

The whistle-blower lawsuit is in U.S. District Court in Wichita. No matter how it is resolved, it has exposed gaps in the way government regulators investigated the alleged problems in aircraft manufacturing, according to documents and interviews.

Boeing said that the lawsuit is without merit and that there is no safety issue. Even if faulty parts landed on the assembly line, the company said, none could have slipped through Boeing's controls and gotten into the jetliners. The whistle-blowers "are not intimately familiar with Boeing's quality management system," said Cindy Wall, a company spokeswoman. "Our planes are safe."

Oh, gods! This is going to be amusing. I can see the Chinese negotiators wondering out loud if Boeing is really serious about being a good product or maybe that 80 jet contract should be thrown into the trash. And because Bush was such a jerk to Hu, this is very likely.

Meanwhile, Boeing Co. has won pledges for big airplane orders that could help boost diplomacy efforts, although some say the company's potential there is limited by strict regulation of Chinese airlines.

"Everyone wants the market to deregulate, but it's happening slower than expected," said Richard Aboulafia, analyst with the Teal Group.

The nation's largest exporter also is seeing stiffer competition in China from rival Airbus SAS, raising concerns in part because so much business is at stake. Boeing believes China will require 2,600 new airplanes over the next 20 years.

"The Chinese market is probably going to be as strong as any single country in the world over the next 20 years, ... so it's certainly one that Boeing wants to continue to be dominant in," said aviation analyst Paul Nisbet with JSA Research.

Nisbet credits Boeing with astute sales and marketing efforts in China, but he said the company also is benefiting from both U.S. and Chinese eagerness to address a growing trade imbalance. The United States has a $202 billion trade deficit with China, and big purchases of Boeing airplanes help tip the scales back a bit.

There were no "astute sales." The Chinese are merely stringing us along. They have some pressing issues which we have refused to honor so they keep bringing up this same, old, crappy deal. I can see them holding their noses, it is so rancid now, I am getting tired of writing about it, all my previous articles have pointed out that we refuse to give them an inch so they won't give us a penny.

I read elsewhere that the ONLY item the Chinese negotiated over before Hu's visit was the degree of honor and formality. And Bush kept putting them off, he didn't want to honor Hu and so he didn't. THIS WAS A GRAVE ERROR. Very grave. I see zero stories and pictures of Bush and Hu together in the official news in China. They are treating it like a low level meeting that doesn't rate any coverage. Hu will go home, repack his bags and head off to plop down more Go stones across the planet. He is aware that the only way to fix China is to extend their business and cultural dealings with the world and he is tirelessly doing this and believe it or not, this effort is recognized by people who matter in China. Far from being angry with him, many hope that he succeeds in his many missions for they know that this is important.

Meanwhile, our own death dance in the Middle East is picking up the pace. Bombs going off in nearly every country there, boom, doom, doom! The march of death, scythe hissing as it swings through the air, thousands dying and we are covered with blood. The Chinese watch our budget deficit shoot up as we shoot guns. They know that America will be bankrupt in a mere four years at this rate, we spent over $750 billion last year in red ink and our trade deficit is even worse and we are driving up the price of oil which makes our trade deficit even worse.

Time is running out and we are doing the stupidest things possible. Sigh.
