Few American Commentators Understand Failure Of Diplomacy Strengthens Revolutionaries

Of all the commentary about diplomacy in the Middle East, only one by an Arab, understands what is really going on and even he misses the bigger story: the total triumph of bin Laden. The Israelis want to suck in NATO to make them an arm of the IDF while Muslims in Afghanistan warn NATO they must withdraw or die. The former imperial powers of Europe, riding in the American imperial van, are going off the cliff with us while Iran laughs and North Korea says, 'Me make BOOM!'

This analysis is totally demented.

TEHRAN, Iran - Iran insists it will not be drawn into the Middle East fighting between Israel and Tehran's Hezbollah clients but may be unable to avoid fallout on the already difficult diplomatic struggle over its nuclear program — hardening positions on all sides, experts on the talks say.

Outside Iran, the fighting could sharpen the resolve of Western powers and others that fear Iran wants to build a nuclear weapon and is using what it calls a civilian program as a cover for that ambition. Inside the country, hard-line forces might become increasingly unwilling to make concessions.

One of the immediate worries is that Iran could set off a regional arms race and bring new risks to an area brimming with tensions. The fighting in Lebanon and the Hezbollah rocket attacks highlight concerns that nuclear material, whether from Iran or elsewhere, could in the future find its way into the hands of militant groups like Hezbollah who want to destroy Israel.

What this latest bully boy invasion by Israel has caused is a strengthening of resolve of all Israel's neighbors to hyperarm. They can see clearly from the illegal invasion of Iraq after Saddam stupidly cooperated with UN WMD inspectors, complying with the UN means death. No sane government will ever cooperate with disarming anything anymore, ever again. And the Israeli/American imperial politics of might makes right forces even nonhostile nations to arm like mad. Europe stands nearly alone in this, they want the USA to defend them while they make money. This is Japan's policy, too.

This policy is killing the USA because it has caused us to attempt filling the vacuum caused by European and Japanese failures by making our military the biggest on earth and then stationing 90% of it where Europe and Japan dictate. Instead of strengthening America, this has fatally weakened us, driving us into bankruptcy as we have to go to Europe and Japan for money to pay for this and in the end, as our military after 9/11 expanded massively, going to communist China for a good hunk of the money needed to run this hyper military imperial machine. And instead of making us powerful, it has weakened us as we get enveloped in wars waged against nearly exclusively, Muslims.

Here is some imperial madness, Rice and Bush think they can woo Syria without giving Syria the Golan Heights and military protection from Israel.

WASHINGTON, July 22 — As Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice heads to Israel on Sunday, Bush administration officials say they recognize Syria is central to any plans to resolve the crisis in the Middle East, and they are seeking ways to peel Syria away from its alliance of convenience with Iran.

As I detailed yesterday, Syria has a list of demands. Israel won't give in to any of them at all. And the Israelis will have to crank up the creaky machinery of American propaganda outlets owned or run by Jewish men, and try to corral America into rejecting any and all diplomatic solutions to Israeli expansionism in the Middle East. The internet is making life very difficult for the Jews running our government from behind the scenes because everything they want to censore by ignoring it or attacking it unilaterally, is crumbling because real news and information is leaking in now and is being debated by the public in ways that irritate the men and women running the Israeli imperial project.

This fake story about Syria that rattles on with totally insane analysis is part of the machiinery designed to transform reality into a new shape that benefits Israel. All the American media outlets have been trumpetting the notion that this war has weakened not Israel but Iran. This stupid belief flies in the face of reality. Iran can happily point to Israel and say, 'See? They are the aggressors! They want to kill babies!' End of story. Iran says they need defenses to protect their sovereignty. And they are 100% correct in this matter. For Israel and its captive state, America, have both openly talked about overthrowing a democratically elected government there just as they have attacked and seized Hamas elected representatives chosen in a fair election in Palestine.

Here is a letter from our own, dying Congress, begging Bush and Rice to give them a report on Iran and Syria's 'arms programs.'

Just like ancient Rome, as the dicatatorship installed by hook and crook grinds down the Senate, the Senators pipe up with feeble voices, pleading for ancient powers that no longer exist. There is no WMD report to give to the pathetic Senators because there never were any WMD to report. There will be in the future but only after our utter defeat in the Middle East. For we are falling apart rapidly.

The failure to protect American citizens in the Middle East is very significant. America was talked into refusing to evacuate Americans in Israel and had to be strongarmed into a small, mostly inept evacuation from Lebanon. The lack of interest in the victims of Israeli aggression continues as our government and much of the press looks the other way as Americans are bombed.

This extends the weakening of our country's status and power as our own government declares to the world, 'We don't give a hoot if you kill our people.' Hurricane Katrina destroyed our diplomatic powers for the same reason. If we end up only huffing and puffing for dual citizens of Israel while refusing to protect black Americans or Americans of Arab descent, this weakens our country, tremendously.

In this toxic stew steps NATO....not.

PARIS, July 24 — Support is building quickly for an international military force to be placed in southern Lebanon, but there remains a small problem: where will the troops come from?

The United States has ruled out its soldiers’ participating, NATO says it is overstretched, Britain feels its troops are overcommitted and Germany says it is willing to participate only if Hezbollah, the Lebanese militia that it would police, agrees to it, a highly unlikely development.

“All the politicians are saying, ‘Great, great’ to the idea of a force, but no one is saying whose soldiers will be on the ground,” said one senior European official. “Everyone will volunteer to be in charge of the logistics in Cyprus.”

If Europe sides with Lebanon to shove out Israel and demand Israel negotiate a fair state with Palestine and enforces this by removing all the illegal settlements on the West Bank and in Jerusalem, then NATO may patrol these borders. This will stop anyone from attacking the proper state of Israel and it will also force Israel to cease waving a sword and start using real diplomacy and not false diplomacy whereby all they did way try to buy time so they could make the facts on the ground, ie, the settlements, extend their borders.

Here is Pat Buchanan misunderstanding what is happening.

Tehran, too, has suffered a loss of prestige. As patrons of Hezbollah, they are today seen in the Middle East as being complicit in an act of stupidity that has brought ruin on an Arab nation. And Iran's failure to aid her Shia allies in battle with Israel exposes them as something less than heroic Islamic warriors of Tehran's propaganda.

Indeed, the perceived impotence of Iran to aid Hezbollah, while Bush was giving Israel a free hand in Lebanon, may force Iran to show it yet has power to damage U.S. interests. Public denunciations of Israel by the U.S.-backed, Shia-dominated regime in Baghdad may be an indicator of where Iran intends to exact payback.

Hezbollah were never told Iran would attack if they fought Israel. They listened to bin Laden's famous tape whereby he explains how he defeated America at Tora Bora. This battle, which the Pentagon trumpetted as one of the greatest victories since Little Big Horn (heh)---make that D-Day---was where bin Laden endured our entire forces and then slipped out to campaign against us very successfully. For he is increasingly triumphant in Pakistan and Afghanistan and hopes to have the nuclear arsenal in Pakistan working for him in the future.

And Iran is much stronger, for like Hezbollah, they stood up to Israel and the American horse that Israel rides upon. Saudi Arabia has been fatally weakened and it is only a matter of time before the royals there will be rolling headless in the gutters of Makka. The Saudis gambled that Israel would decapitate the troublesome peasants in Lebanon and Palestine. This failure now has exposed them to retaliation from very angry people who are now itching to teach the nominal leaders of Islam, fat little geese, all, a stark lesson.

Here is probably the only intelligent commentary on the diplomatic scene in the Middle East.

Counterpunch---Ashraf Isma'il: The world is witnessing what could be a critical turning point in the Arab-Israeli conflict. Israel is now engaged in a war that could permanently undermine the efficacy of its much-vaunted military apparatus.

Ironically, there are several reasons for believing that Israel’s destruction of southern Lebanon and southern Beirut will weaken its bargaining position relative to its adversaries, and will strengthen its adversaries’ hands.

Kudos to Mr. Isma'il. When I roamed the net, seeking something sane, I thought maybe I was the only person on the planet who understood what is going on. This would make me seem mad as a hatter. But I know in my bones, my analysis is on the button and reading him, confirms this. I found not one thing to disagree with in his article so I suggest reading the whole thing. It stands in refreshing contrast to all the billious, thoughtless, snarly, snarky explanations of what is going on.

Americans have been seduced into thinking our military can unravel all diplomatic Gordian Knots by cutting them into many pieces. This has caused our ability to project power via diplomacy to wither like limbs never used and this is crippling our nation. Goading allies into doing things they don't want to do isn't diplomacy. Worse, letting agents working for another country whether it be Germany, Britain or most significantly, Israel, is not only dangerous, it is deadly. If Japan gets to run our Asia diplomacy, they don't care if Americans are bombed or killed so they have little incentive to take our own safety into consideration. This is much truer with Israel which really doesn't give a hoot how many Americans die even in America itself, witness Chertoff, a dual citizen traitor running Homeland Security. No dual citizen should be running any security system or State Department system. They must be removed for the desire to serve another country means betraying our country and this cannot be tolerated. I feel very strongly about this.

China doesn't bring in aliens to run their diplomatic corps. They train Chinese with loyalty to China in special colleges and then set them out to learn about the world and to work for China. We hire foreigners and then let them run our foreign affairs.

Condi Sneaks Into Beirut To Try To Impose Imperial Rule There

Way back, right after 9/11, the USA empire promised the Palestinians a viable, sovereign state and to clinch the deal in America, promised liberation for Muslim women forced to wear veils. And 'democracy' with 'elections'. These promises were all rank lies. There is no democracy and the women were not liberated at all. Condi is now in Beirut, trying to finish off the democracy there and enslaving the women.

Condi has to pretend she wants to protect one of the few real democracies in the Middle East.

BEIRUT, July 24 — Secretary of state Condoleezza Rice made a surprise stop in the besieged Lebanese capital today to try to prop up the government of Prime Minister Fouad Siniora and to reassure Arab allies who have become increasingly impatient with the Israeli air assault, which has killed close to 400 Lebanese civilians.

So, after giving Israel more fuel and bombs to drop on the only real democracy in the Middle East, Israel being a fascist religious state very similar to Saudi Arabia, the American envoy is going to 'stop' this very lopsided war? Hahaha.

From day one, all of the promises and stated goals put out by the PNAC neo cons have been rank lies. Why would anyone believe a word these clowns say baffles me. Actually, they don't believe any words America says. And for good reason.

The stated goals were all fake. The trumpets blaring the good tidings of freedom and democracy were really the braying of dogs of war. Far from wanting to liberate Muslims, we come with whips and chains.

In Afghanistan, the mannish females married to or children of right wing neo cons, all rushed off to the Middle East to talk about liberation. The hausfrau of Bush, a woman who killed her exboyfriend 'accidentally', trotted off to Kabul to talk about the joys of liberation, she being a shining example since no woman in Afghanistan dares kill their fiances or husbands and not be stoned to death. Heck, she is living proof to them that their laws forbidding women drivers is justifieably sane! She and the Cheney chicks joined with Bush's ersatz mom, Karen Hughes, to berate the Muslim men for veiling their women and pointed to lands we liberated to show how to do things.

Well, in all our 'allies' lands, women are wearing more and more veils and in liberal Iraq, they are now cowering in their homes, scared of being raped by American soldiers or religious fanatics. In Saudi Arabia, any woman daring to bare her face in public is beaten mercilessly. Condi suddenly flew to Beirut at the request of these vicious, anti-feminist men who never allow elections, ever.

The Hezbollah fighters rose up in Israel's rear in support of their Palestinian brothers. These two groups fought like crazy for control when they were cheek to cheek in Lebanon but now they have common cause. The PLO was liberal and the women were given considerable civil rights under that quasi-government but thanks to Israel and America, Palestine is being radicallized more and more to fit bin Laden's dream of a new/old fashioned Caliphate.

The war to destroy Lebanon's democracy is going badly for Israel. The rockets hitting Israel's port cities are getting more and more accurate as the Israelis spend most of their American bombs, dropping them on civilan centers or fleeing civilians. The lust to kill or destroy the homes of Muslims is overwhelming any sense of strategic importance. This is why rockets rain down on Israel. The Israelis desperately need these rockets to glare on them! This justifies their many war crimes!

But the rockets are getting better and better at hitting targets. When they were ineffective, the Jews in Israel could yelp with fury and scream they had a right to bomb Beirut which has zero rockets shooting at anyone. So a rocket would land in some orchard in Israel, the Israelis would bomb Beirut, another rocket would land, ditto over and over again. The Jews went into their bomb shelters and laughed except now, every time they crawl out, they see greater and greater devastation. So since Thursday, the Jews have changed direction and are now trying to find these pesky rockets they wanted to use as an excuse to bomb Beirut.

So Israel and the USA demands Syria stop the fighting! HEH.

DAMASCUS, Syria - Syria, one of Hezbollah's main backers, said Sunday it will press for a cease-fire and was willing to engage in direct talks with the United States to help end the fighting between Israel and the Islamic militant group in Lebanon.

But Syrian officials said Damascus would only cooperate within the framework of a broader Middle East peace initiative that would include a return of the Golan Heights, captured by Israel in 1967, and warned they will not stand by if the Israelis step up their offensive.

The deadlock Israel has imposed on the Middle East is now breaking. Far from being intimidated by this latest attempt by Israel of putting down Muslims, Syria is, like North Korea, demanding a real peace treaty that doesn't let Israel dictate all borders to its own interests. Of course, all peace treaties have this feature except for rank invasions. When Germany tried to impose its own definitions of borders upon Europe and Africa, this was terminated by the American/Soviet alliance that invaded Germany and cut it to shreds, giving it new borders that ignited a new psuedo-war called the Cold War.

Syria wants the American empire to guarantee real borders. We can do this by not giving Israel money and arms to fight. If the USA wants 'peace' in the Middle East, we can do this by occupying Israel and liberalizing the place, imposing American values there! Heh!!!

Like, put Israel under the umbrella of the American Constitution. Many, many Israelis are 'dual citizens' of America so they should greet this with joy. Seperating their religion from the state will go a long, long way to fixing the tensions that fuel the wars there. If all religions are equal, all languages primary, then the polyglot populations there can finally live in peace, no one being 'better' than another. Just like here in America!

And no one will care who belongs to what tribe, ethnic group or religion. All will be equal before the law. The Jewish laws forbidding selling land to Muslims will be found illegal and dumped. Seperate roads, seperate communities will be called 'Jim Crow' and eliminated. This is a great dream. One that America should embrace.

We fund Israel. We arm Israel. We see many Israelis wanting to cling to their American rights while creating a Jews-only privilages in Israel. Now they can join the two and fix things at the same time. This means, of course, Palestinian voters will outnumber them and they will lose some political power there but if they become our 51st state, this is OK since the Palestinians won't have any bones to chew since they will no longer be confined to vicious ghettos. And since they can't pass laws that are unconstitutional, this means they can't take away the civil rights of the Jewish voters.

Of course, this whole idea of extending our constitution like this infuriates a large number of prominent Jews in America. Well, I say, tough titties. I am proud of our Constitution. We designed it to prevent exactly ths sort of stupid religious strife we are watching in the Middle East. Way too many Americans want religiou strife here. Way too many on the right want to do what our despotic allies are doing: eliminate my civil rights as a woman. They hate the Constitution and they hate other religions especially those that mirror their own ethos.

We can best liberate women in all Muslim lands by extending our Constitution to cover them. We should be sending teams of people abroad with this valuable document and explain to them how it works and why getting rid of the Saudi and Kuwaiti royals is a great, REVOLUTIONARY thing to do.....alas.

We lost this document back at the turn of the century. Thank you, Supreme Bastards and Bitches! So it is now so tattered and worn out, it doesn't operate at home, must less, overseas.

Saudi Arabia Wants USA To Stop Israeli War

The American media loves to call the corrupt, absolute despots of Saudi Arabia, 'moderates' as if beating women to death for showing their faces in public is somehow 'moderate'....but these totally evil, fat men love power and they want USA power so they play footsie with the Israelis for they want all popular movents in Muslim lands crushed. Revolution via bin Laden is around the next corner.

The scared rabbits of the fat, Saudi Royal family, jumped on the Israeli war wagon only to discover they will be overthrown if they don't stop the war against Lebanon.

WASHINGTON - Saudi Arabia asked President Bush on Sunday to intervene in Israel's military campaign against Hezbollah in Lebanon to stop the mounting deaths.

"We requested a cease-fire to allow for a cessation of hostilities," Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal said after an Oval Office meeting with Bush.

Saud said he gave the president a letter from Saudi King Abdullah asking that Bush help seek an immediate cease-fire in the Middle East conflict.

A bunch or rich oil men who crush women, terrorize their own people, enslave foreigners, with replusive faces, the cruel evil etched indelibly on their plastic flesh, these men who look evil and are evil, are called 'moderates' in this stupid article. This is how they are universally portrayed. We have to think of them as our allies.

All but four of the 9/11 attackers came from Saudi Arabia and bin Laden himself is from there, too. And he says to all Muslims, 'The guardians of Makka (Mecca) are the dogs of the Americans and Israelis' and lo and behold, this week, they bark and run in circles on the imperial leashes, terrified to the point of peeing on themselves, of the people they keep at bay at home. They use every tool of oppression that all similar totalitarians use.

Bin Laden wants women veiled and these dogs veil women, too, just for example. They follow the exact same social codes as bin Laden with one major exception: themselves.

The Saudi royals live the most corrupt of lives even by Western standards.

And this is the entire point of 9/11 and the revolution bin Laden is leading and Hezbollah knew if they fought the Israelis, the dogs running Saudi Arabia would rush off to America to kiss Bush in the rose garden and beg him to crush them, not the Israelis.

And Hezbollah was right. Now, as a firestorm of rage, hidden entirely from view of America thanks to our need to keep up a ludicrous propaganda facade, so when the inevitable happens, it will, like the revolution in Iran, take us by 'surprise.'

And right in the nick of time, Russia kicks the USA and Israel in the shins.

VIENNA, Austria - Unexpected Russian opposition to key wording of a U.S.-backed Security Council draft resolution is straining international unity on how to deal with Iran's nuclear defiance, U.N. diplomats said Saturday.

As the imperial stooges struggle to get some sort of 'cease fire' without giving one inch of ground to fellow Muslims, the heroic battles of the underdog Hezbollah are inspiring revolution in Saudi Arabia.

SIDON, Lebanon - Mideast diplomats were pressing Syria to stop backing Hezbollah as the guerrillas fired more deadly rockets onto Israel's third-largest city Sunday. Israel faced tougher-than-expected ground battles and bombarded targets in southern Lebanon, hitting a convoy of refugees.

Israel's defense minister said his country would accept an international force, preferably NATO, on its border after it drives back or weakens Hezbollah. But his troops described the militants they encountered as a smart, well-organized and ruthless guerrilla force whose fighters do not seem afraid to die.

While the Israeli/American empire racks up war crimes, the Davids in this battle, the Shi'as, fight back with an amazing ferocity. This development is significant not because they might win but because, in crushing them, a much greater foe will arise.

Picture bin Laden, entering Makka (Mecca) in triumph. Dressed not in black robes but white robes, like that image we all know so well in the movie, 'Lawrence of Arabia', on a white horse? We just gave Saudi Arabia a lot of nifty military jets and plenty of WMD. And if bin Laden makes peace with the men running Iran?

This is Israel's nightmare. This is why they chew on the carpet with worry and wonder if they kill off most their neighbors, they can't fight back when this revolution happens.

Of course, we are talking about the Apocalypse here. For if revolution comes to Saudi Arabia, oil will cease coming to Europe and America. This is why the Europeans aren't jumping at the chance of using NATO in Lebanon. Yesterday, the Taliban and al Qaeda killed two more Canadian soldiers. The death toll of NATO soldiers there is rising steadily as we retreat. Little villages filled with poor peasants fall to our military might only to rise up behind us and kill us. Everyone waits with bated breath for the opportunity to kill American and European invaders.

If NATO sides with Lebanon against Israel, they will be welcomed. If they go there to help Israel not only steal yet more land but also keep the people oppressed, they will be attacked every day relentlessly until they leave in disgrace like Reagan fled under similar circumstances.

I have always taken bin Laden seriously. For many reasons. One is, I understand how revolutionaries operate. Lenin didn't win his battle fighting in Russia. He was in the mountains of Switzerland, working behind the scenes while the Great Powers fought like fiends. Then, when the time was ripe, he returned in triumph to Finland Station and there, launched the final efforts of his revolution.

It really does pay to read lots of old history books.

Even In Mecca, All The Muslim Religious Leaders Are Calling Everyone To Demand Israel End Its Illegal War

I am off to my daughter's wedding, thus, no time for pictures. As I expected, all Muslim clerics are calling today for the people to demand their rulers unite against Israel AND AMERICA. We have lost all hearts and minds there and we lost our minds here, too. We are insane.

The top cleric in Makka calls for the Saudi Royals to stop Bush from attacking Lebanon.

DAMASCUS, Syria, July 21 — In mosques from Mecca to Marrakesh, sermons at Friday Prayer services underscored both the David-versus-Goliath glamour many Arabs associate with Hezbollah’s fight against Israel and their antipathy toward the United States and its allies in the region for doing so little to stop yet another Arab country from collapsing into bloodshed.
LEBANON The Lebanese defense minister said the army would resist any invasion. Israeli warplanes hit targets throughout the country and at least 12 Lebanese were reported killed.
WASHINGTON The Bush administration is rushing precision-guided bombs to Israel at the Israelis’ request, American officials said. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said she would go to Israel tomorrow and then meet Arab and European envoys in Italy.

The leader of the whole Muslim world, a supporter of the Saudi Royals, openly chided with them, saying they shouldn't act like Tony Blair and be a bunch of pathetic poodles. Bin Laden is laughing to death. Of course, the Saudi Royals are coming to Bush's ranch today to have a form of sex if not openly sexual contact. There will be lots of kissing and hand holding, that is certain.

Bush is our Madame Dubarry, isn't he?

The Muslim 'street' is seething with rage. Unlike the cartoon demonstrations and riots which were allowed, everyone knows antigoverment demonstrations calling for the rulers and despots to save Islam will be violently suppressed but the rage just might now broil over and cause exactly such a clash.

This is why the fake front of 'we are bringing freedom and democracy to Muslims' is so much hogwash.

We fear the honest people in all Muslim lands. We want them to be ruled by despots which is why we are ripping apart Iraq and now openly talk about dividing it into cantons like Palestine is by Israel. This is why we green lighted and now are supplying bombs to Israel so they can bomb the most successful democracy in the Middle East, the only one to give full civil rights to all residents and citizens.

Israel doesn't have that at all, not even slightly for it is a fascist state with lopsided laws favoring the Master Race of Jews.

Gah.

This is blowing up in our faces in a giant way. Very big, very nasty. Just as bin Laden wished.

China's Diplomacy Has Destroyed The Bush Push Against North Korea

And lastly, the Chinese dragon, smarter than the average Bush, goes from victory to victory in the diplomatic world. Without firing a shot, they have won the battle over North Korea and got Japan to start talking business again and trade with Taiwan is picking up more and more and aren't they happy?

Japan reads the tea leaves and fortune cookies and decides it is time to play nice.

BEIJING, July 21 (Xinhua) -- China and Japan started their 10th security talks Friday afternoon at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing, expecting to improve bilateral relations via the talks.

China's Vice Foreign Minister Wu Dawei and Japan's Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Nishida Tsuneo attended the talks as chief negotiators. Chinese and Japanese diplomats and military officers were involved in the close-door talks in the Chinese capital.

"We hope to enhance mutual-understanding, consolidate and develop the friendly cooperation between China and Japan via the talks," Wu said in his opening remarks, noting such talks will help each or both of the two countries make contributions to the world peace and development.

South Korea joins China and puts down the USA's crappy diplomacy vis a vis North Korea.

SEOUL, July 21 (Xinhua) -- South Korean government opposes any additional sanctions by the United States against the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), South Korean Unification Minister Lee Jong-seok said in a program of local TV station on Friday.

"Economic dealings with the North (DPRK) in general are not subject to the UN resolution," Lee said in a midnight talk show by local broadcaster MBC.

"The sanction provided by the UN resolution only covers dealings that are related to missiles and weapons of mass destruction," said Lee, who takes charge of the inter-Korean affairs in South Korean government.

Lee's remarks came after reports that the United States and Japan are preparing additional sanctions against Pyongyang.

Hu urged the parties to follow the principle of maintaining peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and Northeast Asia.

Hu said he hoped all parties will handle the peninsula issues in a discreet and responsible way and avoid any actions that may further complicate the situation.

Hu urged all parties to do more to promote dialogues, enhance mutual trust and ease the tense situation in order to strive for an early resumption of the six-party talks and a better situation on the Korean Peninsula.

Congress and the President of Israel's rump country, once called the USA, have told the Jews fighting everyone to go right ahead and kill whoever, whenever. So the Israelis are now going to unilaterally annex huge amounts of neighboring nations including the last remnants of Palestine. This is remarkably like WWII. In particular as well as in general. Saniora said Lebanon is still too weak to attack Hezbollah's stranglehold in the south of the country on its own.

"The Syrians are inside our home and we are still too weak to defend ourselves. The terrible memories of the civil war are still too alive and no one is ready to take up arms."

The prime minister was quoted as saying that to disarm the militia it is also necessary for Israel to help delegitimize it by releasing Lebanese prisoners and withdrawing from the Chebaa Farms, a disputed territory that Lebanon claims and Hezbollah uses as a pretext to keep attacking Israeli forces.

Everyone enjoying WWIII so far? The destruction of Lebanon is parallel that of Iraq. And Afghanistan. The pretense the occupying Christian/Jewish forces are freeing people, creating peace and fixing things is now going up in flames just as it did in WWI and WWII when Germany and England fought over planetary dominance.

Of course, so far, just like at the beginning of WWII, none of the great powers are daring challenging Germany/ aka, the USA. Like Hitler and Mussolini's early victories over barely armed neighbors, Israel and the USA can pretty much do as they wish so far. China and Russia are benefitting greatly from these wars and like WWII, Russia doesn't mind seeing other countries tie up the USA in fighting as desperate and disparate people battle each other and the USA, causing grave damage to the American empire.

We are now harnessed to the Israeli war machine which is fighting to steal pathetic olive orchards owned by ragged peasants and other great things. Every bloody inch of Middle Eastern soil is costing us billions and our reputation. Ditto Iraq which at least has some oil to counterbalance the tremendous loss of funds and face there.

The USA, like Nazi Germany, openly supports Israel imitating Italy or Japan at the beginning of WWII.

WASHINGTON - The United States held the line Thursday against a quick cease-fire deal in the Middle East, increasingly isolated as world powers and the United Nations demanded an immediate end to fighting between Israel and Hezbollah militants.

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice was meeting Thursday night with U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan, who earlier in the day denounced both Israel and Hezbollah and called for both sides to stop fighting immediately.

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) -- Bombings and shootings soared by 40 percent in the Baghdad area in the past week, the U.S. military said Thursday. An American general said extremists were preparing "an all-out assault" on the capital in a decisive battle for the future of Iraq.

Iraq's most influential Shiite cleric issued his strongest call yet for an end to Shiite-Sunni bloodletting, urging all Iraqis to wake up to the "danger threatening the future of the country" and stand "side-by-side against it."

Sistani is a dead man walking. Instead of removing the American military from his homeland, he played along, seeking power and influence. Now, a full war is going to burn down his own country. Bush Acting Like Monkey In Germany, Call An Organ Grinder

Give Bush a little baggage handler's cap and a cup and let him cavort and roll around in public and we can then raise a couple billion a week to keep our country running.

Bush shocks Germany's Prime Minister by laying his paws on her from behind.

Raw Story: President Bush paid a visit to Germany on July 13, prior to the G-8 Summit in Moscow, with Merkel hosting him in her home region. The video of the massage from a G-8 meeting shows the president getting closer to the German Chancellor than one usually sees between world leaders.

As Merkel speaks with Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi, Bush approaches Merkel from behind and givers her a squeeze on her shoulders. The video clearly shows Merkel lifting her arms in surprise as Bush lets go.

I was in the mall helping my daughter look for shoes for her wedding. A family came into the store. The children immediately began to fiddle with everything. Each time the mother and father told them to put whatever down so they would immediately pick up another hat, another shoe and toy with it. This happened continuously.

I suppose they are practicing for being President.

Unruly children misbehaving by grabbing at everything are forgiven up to about the age of ten, then they get increasingly in trouble. Bush was arrested fairly often during his misbegotten younger years. This is because he is an agitated psychopath.

Even with daddy bailing him out and covering up his many arrests, Bush continued to live outside of normal social rules. I have sat in more than one meeting in my life and there is no way in hell anyone should walk over and stick their paws on me when I am talking. If so, bang.

If this happened in a work place, Bush could be sued for sexual harrassment. Period. His face is NOT SMILING. He has this robotic look that psychopaths have when they decide to shock people by suddenly invading their private space. Arrest this man.

Just arrest him. He is all over the news in Europe and the world as a bizarre, ungainly, horrible person. If he tried to come to my daughter's formal wedding, I would have him arrested. I can't imagine anyone wanting to interact with him only like the spoiled frat rat he is, they must because his 'daddy', America's tax payers, are accepting endless IOUs he rings up and everyone wants to make this stupid drunk ring up even more IOUs.

This is why the President of China laughs off similar actions such as when Bush sneered and grabbed Hu's arm simply because Bush wanted to walk in front. Or at the Cinton Library opening when Bush shoved Clinton out of the way and roared into the room, first.

All this is the sort of things that would earn an angry mother's warning if my own children acted this way. But then Babs is like her son only ten times worse.

UNITED NATIONS - Nearly 6,000 civilians were slain across Iraq in May and June, a spike in deaths that coincided with rising sectarian attacks across the country, the United Nations said Tuesday.

The report from the U.N. Assistance Mission in Iraq describes a wave of lawlessness and crime, including assassinations, bombings, kidnappings, torture and intimidation.

Hundreds of teachers, judges, religious leaders and doctors have been targeted for death, and thousands of people have fled, the report said. Evidence suggests militants also have begun to target homosexuals, it said.

Everything is falling apart. And when adults try to talk about this, Bush goes around, poking at them, laughing, talking about pigs, or Cheney is shooting people in the face or whatever. These out of control adults were supposed to bring dignity to the White House.

Beyond being international embarrassments, they are the clowns, the Lokis letting loose Fenir the Wolf.

Bush Uses Obscene Language At State Dinner In Russia

Bush gets plastered in Russia and cusses while chatting with Tony Blair. Bush boasted he would bring dignity to the White House when he stole the first election. We knew before the election that Bush and Cheney like to cuss and joke. This is how psychopaths operate. So of course, the tragedy unfolding in the Middle East is 'shit.'

Bush was talking privately to British Prime Minister Tony Blair during a lunch at the Group of Eight summit in St Petersburg about an upsurge of violence in the Middle East, not realizing a microphone was transmitting what he said.

"I think Condi (Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice) is going to go pretty soon," Bush said.

Blair replied: "Right, that's all that matters, it will take some time to get that together." Rice said on Sunday she was thinking of going to the Middle East if it would help.

Blair said Rice has "got to succeed" if she goes to the region. Bush replied: "What they need to do is to get Syria to get Hezbollah to stop doing this shit."

Of course, the real story is the USA President is completely behind the huge Israeli invasions. Since AIPAC runs our government and controls Homeland Security, this shouldn't puzzle us. Previous Presidents were always very careful to pretend to be neutral parties in previous Israeli invasions. But this time it is overt. Bush said outright that we will be using our military to back up any Israeli reaction a little over a month ago so Israel began shelling Palestinian families picnicking on the beach in a successful effort to get the Palestinians to react.

Photos of Bush as the G8 dinner showed an obviously drunk man. He had that slack-jawed, round-eyed look that drunks have. He reminds me of Yeltsin. The USA is the world girdling empire and everyone wants things from us or is using us in various ways so all the world leaders pretend Bush is a normal person even as he shows himself to be a belligerent drunk.

He also ran around at the formal dinner doing goofy things, everything but swinging from the chandeliers.

Didn't Bush also go roaming around in the orchestra as they were playing after the dinner? Christ what an embarrassment.

Yes. First he pretended like he was the conductor. Then he walked up behind a flute player and tapped her on the shoulder, obviously startling her. Then he said something stupid about how Condi could fill in on her instrument. Something about what a good flute player Condi is.

He should know all about Condi's skills on the skin-flute.

If there was ever going to be a fun official dinner in this White House, last night's affair would be it.

The George W. Bushes aren't the Reagans or the Clintons. They don't throw too many of these formal things. And, truth be told, the president and first lady never really look like they're having a good time sitting through them.

Last night, however, President Bush, in a lively, jovial mood, was honoring Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi, his close friend -- or, as they say in Japanese, shinyu .

An aide to the prime minister whispered in his ear and Koizumi whispered in Bush's ear. Then Japanese country-western musician Shoji Tabuchi jumped onstage with a fiddle and began playing western swing. He turned to Koizumi and said, "You requested country music. How about hoe-down music?" As Tabuchi played, the prime minister bolted from his seat to adjust the musician's mike.

Koizumi was thisclose to jumping onstage himself, but it was bedtime for Bush. The president thanked the musicians, then said cheerily, "Ready to go to bed?" He added, "Off to Graceland."

Bush is definitely on some powerful meds, too. He always is obsessing about 'going to bed' and the WP reporter had to pretend a party with Bush is a fun affair only it shuts down suddenly at 9:30 pm as if it were a birthday party for an 11 year old child.

Which is what Bush is, emotionally.

The conductor wearing a skull and bones bola is interesting. The WH is big on satanic ritual imagry and hand gestures. They are so fixated on this, the reporter added it to his story without astonishment. The Nazis liked to wear skull jewelry and insignias, too. Hahaha. Reminds one of the fact that the Skull and Bones frats have Hitler's dinner set complete with skulls on it, in their crypt at Yale.

Bush babbles to Putin about making Russia like Iraq.

Still, Bush said he offered Putin some suggestions.

``I talked about my desire to promote institutional change in parts of the world like Iraq where there's a free press and free religion,'' Bush said at the news conference, ``and I told him that a lot of people in our country would hope that Russia would do the same thing.''

Putin, in a barbed reply, said: ``We certainly would not want to have the same kind of democracy as they have in Iraq, I will tell you quite honestly.'' Bush's face reddened as he tried to laugh off the remark. ``Just wait,'' Bush replied about Iraq.

Putin also said Russia would not take part ``in any crusades, in any holy alliances'' - a remark seemingly intended to win points with Arab allies. Bush's national security adviser, Stephen Hadley, said he was perplexed by the comment.

This was hours before Bush greenlighted Israel's invasion of the virtually helpless, disarmed state of Lebanon. Lebanon has no nukes so of course, it can be easily attacked.

As our diplomacy collapses like a punctured wedding cake, we should understand that our great leader's inability to socialize normally is taking a very big toll on our nation. China's President, Hu, was at these dinners. He approached Bush and got Bush to greenlight some initiatives China is intent on getting. Unlike the USA, the Chinese hate going home empty handed. So Hu got what he wanted and skeedaddled. Bush thought Hu was being friendly. What a rich joke. Bush is probably puffed up right now, imagining his insulting behavior last time Hu visited us, worked.

Fascists Killed the League of Nations And Now The UN

The horror of WWI was supposed to motivate the great powers into creating the League of Nations which were to demilitarize the great powers and protect smaller nations from invasions. This failed utterly and finally ended with the fascist Italian invasion of Ethiopia.

Here is the famous King of Ethiopia's speech that was filled with dire, correct predictions.

Japan's invasions of Korea and then China set the stage for this invasion and of course, the German interference with Spain's politics sealed the grave. And then WWII happened. The UN was designed to prevent this from happening twice but it worked only because of the US/USSR rivalries prevented the UN from being used as a club to disarm nations slated for colonial invasions. The Third World movement hosted by India triangulated off of the US/USSR rivalries to gain some measure of control and protection which didn't stop the great powers from attacking countries like Vietnam or Hungary.

Since these illegal invasions were always a tit for tat demonstration of dubious power by the nuclear bullies of the eartth, the UN slogged on. But now, with the USA acting as if we are an unilateral power like Britain in 1914, we are in dire danger of the UN expiring and being replaced by global warfare. WWI didn't start instantly. It did happen fairly quickly, though. But from 1900 to 1914, what with the Boer war showing clearly how weak and over stretched the British Empire was and the unrest in Russia signalling impending revolution and the bankruptcy of the Ottoman and the Austro/Hungarian empires, the stage was set for someone to lunge for someone's throat and even back then, all agreed that Germany would the the one to lunge since they were the ones most hemmed in by British power and they had finally surpassed Britain in both the financial and industrial spheres.

The USA prevents the UN from doing its job because we want to act like a colonial empire.

An appeal by Lebanon to the UN Security Council for a ceasefire order against increasingly fierce Israeli raids on its territory has fallen on deaf ears.

Nouhad Mahmoud, a Lebanese foreign ministry official, made his plea at an emergency session of the 15-nation council.

But members said they planned no immediate action apart from a statement welcoming a decision by Kofi Annan, the UN secretary-general, to send a team to the region to encourage restraint.

The United States vetoed a resolution on Thursday drafted by Arab nations calling on Israel to end a separate two-week military incursion in Gaza.

John Bolton, the US ambassador, called the measure "not only untimely, but already outmoded" and biased against Israel.

Nothing is ever good enough for Israel and the USA. The USA prevents anyone from stopping Israel and we supply an endless supply of funds for Israel to act aggressively. Since there is nothing stopping them, the Zionists do their worst. And so the UN has now died. It died when it allowed the USA to unilaterally invade Iraq after the UN inspectors found no WMD there. And it died when the USA announced we would build more and better WMD ourselves and reserve the right for 'first strike' on the merest suspicion that someone might challenge us sometime in the future! This negated the entire charter of the UN.

The USA also breaches the Geneva Conventions that predate the UN by kidnapping and torturing wives and children of generals and soldiers captured during war.

American forces in Iraq have been accused of kidnapping the families of detainees as an interrogation tactic, RAW STORY has learned.

A story in today's edition of Salon suggests that the kidnapping method may have been used systematically in the course of intelligence gathering through interrogations in the Iraq war.

Salon added that Members of Congress including Rep. Christopher Shays, a Republican of Connecticut, have issued a subpoena to Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld to hand over documents on the matter. They are due at 5 PM today.

Arrest them. Arrest them all. The head of our shameful prison in Iraq has been elevated to head NATO. He is a war criminal. GAZA CITY (CNN) -- Armed with rocket-propelled grenades, Hamas militants blew open a gate Friday on the border between Gaza and Egypt, allowing hundreds of people to cross into Gaza.

Militants wounded an Egyptian officer in the raid on the Rafah crossing, The Associated Press reported.

People streamed through the open gate, and the atmosphere grew tense as Israeli attack helicopters hovered over the area.

The whimpers of the rich Saudis cause bin Laden to laugh out loud wherever he is lurking. You can bet, he is tracking events closely now and will step out of the shadows when it is time to give another prod. Al Qaeda can and will hit whenever and where ever they desire. They don't need to be rushed, a tiny push periodically does the magic trick.

All night I heard the jets, whispering high above the Mediterranean. It lasted for hours, little fireflies that were watching Beirut, waiting for dawn perhaps, because it was then that they descended.

They came first to the little village of Dweir near Nabatiya in southern Lebanon where an Israeli plane dropped a bomb on to the home of a Shia Muslim cleric. He was killed. So was his wife. So were eight of his children. One was decapitated. All they could find of a baby was its head and torso which a young villager brandished in fury in front of the cameras. Then the planes visited another home in Dweir and disposed of a family of seven.

One sided war reports stink. They don't work, either, today. The internet has broken the iron grip of the propagandists. So why not mention all the casualties? It seems simple enough!

Of course, enough people still watch TV passively or read only one newspaper so the NYT and the American TV stations have little to fear, only about 45% of America seeks out information but of that percent, we grow increasingly annoyed with the childishness of present propaganda systems.

As we play Germany to Israel's Italian fascist adventures, someone in American media finally notices that South Korea doesn't like Japan and guess why? WWII!

SEOUL – As special US envoy Christopher Hill returns to the US from Asia Thursday with doubts that North Korea will join multiparty talks, an unusual and slightly troubling side show is developing between South Korea and Japan over how to deal with Kim Jong Il's missiles and nukes.
The two US allies and key participants in the talks have exchanged some of the sharpest rhetoric and barbs in memory, complicating US efforts to forge a consensus strategy to deal with North Korea.

In Seoul, critics and even sympathizers notice the government's tendency to excuse or deny negative news about Kim Jong Il and his isolated military regime. For example, in the 24 hours after Pyongyang tested missiles that can reach Japan and US bases, every East Asian state offered a clear thumbs down - except South Korea.

The North Koreans kicked our shins while we were egging our allies into Gulf War III. As we bent all our diplomatic energy into disarming Iran so Israel could invade all its neighbors with impunity, the North Koreans gave us a sharp lesson in realpolitik. The media flew to the rescue and tried to pretend the entire world wanted Iran disarmed and helpless and ditto North Korea. This fake story fell apart instantly, at least at my own blog, I knew the truth because I read foreign newspapers that are mouthpieces for the rulers in Asia! Duh!!!

So now the entire push to push North Korea into helplessness is hopeless and there is zero chance of the USA reviving this silly game. It is done. Japan has taken over America's Asian foreign policy but this no longer bothers the Chinese because....the Chinese dragon is now sitting on nearly a trillion American FOREX dollars.

BEIJING, July 14 (Xinhua) -- China's foreign exchange reserves hit 941.1 billion U.S. dollars by the end of June this year, up 32.37 percent from the same period of last year, People's Bank of China, or the central bank, said here Friday.

In the first six months, China's foreign exchange reserves increased 122.2 billion U.S. dollars, 21.2 billion more than the same period of last year, the bank said.

In June, the reserves increased 16.1 billion U.S. dollars, 3.9 billion less than the same period of last year.

China's foreign exchange reserves have surpassed Japan at the end of February this year, becoming the world's biggest.

That is the end. Kiss our asses running America goodbye. We lost. It is all over. We either surrender or we go on, struggling in this net we can't break out of. Pretending we can declare bankruptcy is just silly. We have to buy oil. As well as nearly everything an industrial nation needs like screws and nuts and bolts and ball bearings. Gads. I called this from day one. Tracking this fund, I knew for years, this is the plan: to get enough dollars to sink our economy whenever they want, this was the Chinese plan since 1986! DUH. No one and I do mean no one believed me when I said this years ago.

Few believe me today. But here it is. I was right. Alas. It stinks. Cassandra wanted to be wrong, too. After all, she lived in Troy.

Bush Tells Pig Jokes When Asked About Middle East War

Bush tries to 'defuse' questions about Israel's hyperwars against virtually unarmed neighbors (note who can fly and bomb with impunity over there!) by joking about pigs. As usual, he has a total tin ear when it comes to humor or diplomacy. Part of being a psychopath.

Bush couldn't stop making one pig joke after another, I don't list them all here.

Ledger-Enquirer: "I understand I may have the honor of slicing the pig," Bush said at a news conference earlier in the day punctuated with questions about spreading violence in the Middle East and an intensifying standoff with Iran over nuclear power.

The president's host, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, started a serious ball rolling at this news conference in the 13th century town hall on the cobblestone square of Stralsund. But Bush seemed more focused on "the feast" promised later.

But Bush wasn't apologizing for any of his boar banter Thursday, as reporters from Germany and the U.S. peppered him with questions about the standoff in Iran, violence in the Middle East and flagging democracy in Russia. He answered all in earnest, of course, but he leavened it all with pig talk.

Facing a pointed question about Russian President Vladimir Putin, who had made fun of Vice President Dick Cheney this week, Bush replied with yet more humor.

But reporters were looking for more than humor in historic Stralsund this day.

"Apart from the pig, Mr. President, what sort of insights have you been able to gain as regards East Germany?" a German reporter asked the American leader.

"I haven't seen the pig yet," said Bush, sidestepping the question about insights gained from his two-day visit to this rural seaside region that once rested behind the Iron Curtain in a Germany divided between East and West.

I am sure everyone was rolling on the floor laughing. Bush should have finished with 'Springtime for Hitler in Germany.' The ever-widening war in the Middle East is a grave matter. And joking about pigs is at best, displaying a very tinnish ear. I would say, the chuckles Bush enjoyed were entirely due to the fact that he knew perfectly well that using a pig as a repeated talking point when being asked about Muslims and Jews is stupid and nasty. This is why he kept harping on it. His brain couldn't let go of the private humor in the whole matter. 'Hee hee hee, them thar Jews and rag heads hate pigs, I'll poke at them again, hee hee hee,' must have been the tape playing in Bush's booze addled brains.

The other day when I actually read the Reagan/Gorbachev negotiations over reducing nuclear arsenals and guaranteeing peace, it was a sharp reminder how bad things are now. Bush Sr. always irritated me with his faux cowboy talk but Bush Jr is genuine in the fact that he always talks as if he is in a fly specked bar in some sleepy town down south! The loss of face this causes us is vast and amazing. No one can take our government seriously.

As things spiral out of control in the Middle East, people who are not telling stupid pig jokes try to solve the problem and fail. I wonder how serious Qatar is...I bet the people there are not happy with the waythings are falling apart.

UNITED NATIONS - The United States cast the first U.N. Security Council veto in nearly two years Thursday, blocking an Arab-backed resolution that would have demanded Israel halt its military offensive in the Gaza Strip.

The draft, sponsored by Qatar, accused Israel of a "disproportionate use of force" that endangered Palestinian civilians, and it demanded Israel withdraw its troops from Gaza.

The various oil countries living under our aegis don't want wars raging on their borders. And when Israel was 'quietly' (due to press censorship in the West) oppressing and stealing from the Palestinians, this was perfectly OK with the despots ruling most Arab oil principalities. But this open warfare is a grave danger to them since their own subjects can get very restive about this. The rulers want this to all go away!

This is all tied in with bin Laden who is accusing them of being dogs of the Israelis and Americans. If they do nothing, they are dogs. So they try to use the UN for what it was created for and are immediately put down by the USA. So the USA will go back to condemning one of the few Muslim states that can defy the Israeli/American plans of colonization: Iran.

The abuse of the disarmament morality is going to start a world war. Instead of negotiating our way to disarming ourselves or Israel, we are simply demanding that all other nations around us and our client state disarm so we can do as we wish which is to imprison the Palestinians in small ghettoes until they all die off or flee. Then we got the 'Holy Lands' wholly for ourselves so we can boast that God loves US and wants US and we are superior to everyone who God doesn't love.

Charming.

On the other hand, China loves diplomacy and is using it as a tool to build alliances and extend influence.

BEIJING, July 13 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Hu Jintao said on Thursday that China hoped to advance the all-round strategic partnership with the European Union (EU).

"As the EU occupies an important place in China's foreign affairs, China would like to enhance its all-round strategic partnership with the EU," Hu told the visiting European Parliament President Josep Borrell Fontelles in Beijing's Great Hall of the People.

Europe is slowly triangulating. They worry about a one-sided relationship with America. Germany wants to do what England has done: extend their imperial wishes riding on America's sea of IOUs. This way, Germany can exert power without paying any bills. What a great deal that is! Every country is now trying to piggy-back onto American military power because it is not only vast but is entirely located outside of this country which can't even muster 2,000 troops to patrol our swiss cheese borders!

Since we decided to defend America by disarming our home base, why shouldn't others hijack our military and use it for themselves? The Israelis have hijacked our entire government!

America's attempt at controlling the planet via our military is causing Russia to threaten to confront us.

Sergei Ivanov, Russia’s defence minister, on Thursday warned the west to stay out of its internal affairs saying it would use its “military might” as a deterrent and a guarantor of its sovereignty. His comments came as President George W. Bush sought to put democratic freedoms in Russia back on the agenda for the Group of Eight summit in St Petersburg this weekend.

In an article published in Izvestia newspaper Mr Ivanov – a possible successor to president Vladimir Putin in 2008 – hailed Russia’s resurgence as a great power, underpinned by a triad of “sovereign democracy, a strong economy and military might”.

The differences between Russia and the USA are vanishingly small. The main thing is, Russia is building a huge FOREX reserve and we are destroying our own fiscal base. And our military has been 'privatized' which means it is now hideously expensive to run and is causing so much red ink to flow not even the communist Chinese can fund it all for us!

Russia isn't ready to step into the mess in the Middle East. As in the Cold War, they will act elsewhere. The Chinese don't want to use military power anywhere. I was reading an old history book last night, from the early 1900's. The Opium wars and the attempts of the Chinese to secure their own borders and how everyone invaded more and more, ganging up on China, denying China any say in anything. The blow-back from that mess is still ongoing! This is why I watch the China/Japan parry and thrust so closely.

The USA, during the dismemberment of China, tried to triangulate with Britain, Germany and Russia over that mess. This failed. It also was one of the many causes of WWI and WWII. Namely, the failure to secure weaker nations' borders can cause great powers to come into conflict. And the desire for sovereignty such as we saw in Serbia in 1914, can trigger great wars.
