It seems as if everyone in the US media and government have suddenly forgotten Baby Dragon, North Korea. Yet here he is, following Mommy Dragon's instructions, playing nice with the other Baby Dragon, South Korea. This infuriates and frightens Miss Japan who retaliated by honoring the invaders of Korea at the Yakusuni Shrine and passing a change in the Constitution, allowing them to become war lords again.
South Korea and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) wrapped up their general-level military talks Friday with a joint statement promising security guarantees for railway tests across their border and taking tension-easing measures. In the statement, the two sides promised to provide military security guarantee for the test runs of two cross-border railways on May 17, which will be the first time for the two sides to be linked by railway transports since 1951.
The two parties also agreed to hold further discussion on measures guarantee for the operation of cross-border railways and roads, the statement said.
Golly, if it weren't for Xinhua news, I would have precious little diplomatic news to report! Luckily for me, the present leaders of China are very, very highly interested in diplomacy and love to cover these stories in their offical news formats.
Way back several months ago, the entire western media, worn out from screaming about how evil China was to host all the African nations at a conference in Beijing where Mommy Dragon said, 'Don't worry about the World Bank or IMF. I be bank!' Heh. Ah, I remember when they decided banking was a great profession for the Communist Party! Our broken bank is filled with IOUs and we keep promising everyone we will give them something but it always is next Thursday.
So, according to the propaganda put out by the media of the west, China was humilated and utterly destroyed, their diplomacy a smoking ruins, all was lost. And they hate North Korea! Yes. What a great story that was.
But we can see now it was stupid in the extreme and once again, over and over again, my analysis is right. It helps that I know the inner thinking of the Communist leaders of China. This is why I warn our own government over and over again to do the right thing. Hello! State Department, do call the White House and tell the monkey king, he is selling all our bonds outside of the 65% the Treasury buys, the rest are being sold to...CHINA! And this makes them diplomatically very, very, hello----TREMENDOUSLY strong!
Power is money. The Ring is gold and the power that grows out of guns won't fire a squib if there is no gold backing it.
I keep pointing out, China loves trains and is using them to extend their empire. They are a perfect mirror of Germany from 1860-today. They know that trains, unlike planes, are cheap and they are hard core corridors that leads to trade and power. England was very alarmed when Germany began to build the Orient Express and Russia took over Siberia and Manchuria how? Choo-choo-choo.....
This train line is hyper-important. The USA has given up on trains, I saw one go by the other day and it was a long line of rusty, beat up, covered with graffiti boxes that looked like this is some third world country. It rattled along at a pretty slow speed. Bumpetty bump.
Since we have nearly no new train technology and since we don't build tracks anymore and since we gave up that universe, the Chinese rule it now and they are using it in the classic way to extend their dominace and power. And North Korea couldn't sign deals with South Korea to put in a train of all things if China and Russia weren't guaranteeing South Korea its sovereignty and safety.
But Japan! Oh, do they hate all this.

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe warned Sunday that Japan might impose more sanctions on North Korea and brushed off concerns that its tactics could be isolating Tokyo from close ally Washington. In an interview on national Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK), Abe said resolving a long-running row over kidnappings was integral to six-party talks aimed at reining in the communist state's nuclear weapons programme.
Japan hisses and spits at both Koreas. And still won't pay for the comfort women, either, much less, the slave laborers and the people massacred by the Japanese Imperial Forces. Japan is a rich country thanks to hammering its own working class. They have a gigantic series of bank accounts and could easily pay reparations but they not only refuse to do this, they imagine their diplomatic power will grow despite this refusal and it puzzles them every time China beats them at this game.
They will never figure this out. Anyway, if they refuse to trade with North Korea, it no longer matters. If South Korea, Russia and China do trade then, that is the end. And I see a power block forming and growing if it is beginning to suck in South Korea, a nation we occupy with many forces that are very exposed and who serve absolutely NO function at all since our diplomacy has disappeared and where are we in all this?
Hahaha. These forces, like the ones we have in Japan, are pure red ink and this means we have to go to Beijing to sell our bonds and only Beijing is buying, Japan is selling them behind our backs to China! Argh. Will this news make the news? Hahaha, again. My sides are splitting.

Straits Times, December 28, 2006The six-party talks to achieve denuclearisation on the Korean peninsula ended last week without any results. But while the outcome was disappointing, it was not unexpected.
Even before the talks – involving China, the United States, Japan, Russia, South Korea and North Korea – began in Beijing on Dec 18, Pyongyang had signalled its unwillingness to give up its nuclear capabilities.
As feared, North Korean negotiators refused to discuss denuclearisation, insisting that the US end its financial sanctions first. These sanctions effectively bar Pyongyang from access to the global banking system. Washington, however, refused to lift these unless Pyongyang took concrete steps towards denuclearisation.
The stalemate is a fresh setback for China, which had invested its prestige in hosting the talks and played a critical role in bringing the North Koreans back to the negotiating table after Pyongyang’s nuclear test in October. Now that the new talks have failed to nudge Pyongyang towards disarmament, the best Beijing can hope for is self-restraint on the part of North Korean leader Kim Jung Il.
This Chinese guy is paid to think. But alas, his brain is missing something vital: he doesn't know any of the people pulling strings in this whole business. And as an outsider, he could easily be fooled. After all, the entire media here was screaming about what a terrible defeat all this was for China and North Korea! Kim Il Sung wanted a peace treaty with the US signed and sealed and the US refused. So NK set off a nuke test.
But as time passes, we see the truth. North Korea had to push us into negotiating, Japan and the US refused but lo and behold, South Korea said yes. And if South Korea signs a peace treaty and this is INEVITABLE now, they will no longer need the US or Japan to sign, too. For it is their country, not the Japanese anymore, they lost their rule in 1945. And the US will be bankrupt and China will dictate terms when we have to deal with the sudden dumping of $1.3 trillion in reserves into the currency stream.
Baby Dragon's little boom was not a bust.
