« Don't Cry For Me, Hillary Clinton | Main | Criminal Albright Screeches About Morals »

If a small group of people control a majority of the worlds financial, oil, media, food, and military might there truly is no solution to change this.

With a majority of people entranced by the sparkling rubbish put out by the media, and slaving to pay for food, money and oil there is no critical mass of understanding.

It seems very easy to marginalize the few people who understand the problem.

Using the court for arrest is futile as they are part of the system, organized resistance is SO easy to infiltrate and stop, and individual resistance is almost too funny to consider.

Joining the MIC to try to change it is futile just as trying to drop out is futile because there are droves of people willing to take your place working and spending into it.

Sometimes despair and futility are appropriate.

Actually, they really do make up everything as they go along. The media's job is to wipe out the past and make everything 'now' and 'here.'

This is why they pull out all kinds of silly rabbits from this hat such as the recent stories about Obama being 'elitist' even though he is part of an oppressed minority that is so discriminated against, Hillary openly says, white working class voters won't vote for him.

With foreign policy, whatever they want today erases what they said or did in the past. On top of this mess, we have the US endorsing ethnic cleansing by Jews. Imagine if this is launched in the US!

Hi Elaine,

One of Einstein's letters written in 1954 is recently up for sale and a translation of a part has been put on the following website:

Here it is below:
"The word God is for me nothing more than the expression and product of human weaknesses, the Bible a collection of honourable, but still primitive legends which are nevertheless pretty childish. No interpretation no matter how subtle can (for me) change this. These subtilised interpretations are highly manifold according to their nature and have almost nothing to do with the original text. For me the Jewish religion like all other religions is an incarnation of the most childish superstitions. And the Jewish people to whom I gladly belong and with whose mentality I have a deep affinity have no different quality for me than all other people. As far as my experience goes, they are also no better than other human groups, although they are PROTECTED FROM THE WORST CANCERS BY A LACK OF POWER. Otherwise I cannot see anything 'chosen' about them."

My emphasis.
We see first hand how power corrupts, and Einstein's prescience is once again astounding.

I always thought
the greatest theological statement of the 20th century. Is this not another way of saying all of creation is connected?

It certainly is one of the most elegant of science's math formulas.

Bush's speech is backfiring. This is because he is now very unpopular. And suspicious Americans are beginning to link his actions to the high price of oil.

Elaine, we very well COULD have ethnic cleansing in the United States. Thanks to Bill and Hillary, we now have an INFLAMED racial problem; and, the religious right-winged crazies are reacting in their typically prejudiced way to the CA Supreme Court decision on the (now extinct) same-sex marriage ban in that state. And of course, the Muslims have an "Islamofascist problem" and the Jews are beginning to reap what their Zionist right-winged co-religionists and fellow travellers have sown for 60 years.

Well said, James. I agree.

And above all things, this is what I wish to avoid.

Every gun that's made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, signifies a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and not clothed. This world in spending the genius of its scientists, the sweat of its laborers,”
David Dwight Eisenhower
