The universities in America are now the staging ground for communist-style repression. The denial of tenure to a professor who dragged the Zionist war machine into the public eye, the cancellation of the Rachael Corrie play about a peaceful demonstrator murdered by the Israeli army, the tasering of a library student in San Diego and now this, the most disgusting display of dysutopian brutality: a student is tasered for taking Skull and Bonesman, Kerry, to task for throwing in the towel in the last election! I will explain how Kerry has debased himself and how the entire Democratic Party has descended into anti-democratic, anti-constitutional hell along with the neo-fascist Republicans.
Kerry was supposedly answering questions at the University of Florida. Our rulers hate being taken to task for their many failings. The student, Andrew, was about as loud as I get in public. When he pushed for more than a mealy-mouthed bluster, he was instantly jumped by the cops who then brutalized him hideously.
Two University of Florida police officers have been placed on leave with pay after using an electronic stun gun to subdue a student who was questioning Sen. John Kerry at a campus forum, the school's president said Tuesday.
The Florida Division of Law Enforcement will investigate Monday's arrest of student Andrew Meyer, said J. Bernard Machen. Machen called the incident "regretful for us."
"The thing that I regret is that civil dialogue and civil discourse did not happen," Machen said. "That's fundamental to a university campus. Why it didn't happen is what we're trying to sort out."
During Monday's forum, Meyer came to the microphone to question why the 2004 Democratic presidential nominee from Massachusetts did not contest his loss to President Bush in the pivotal state of Ohio over allegations that African-American voters were disenfranchised, why he did not support Bush's impeachment and whether he belonged to the Yale University secret society Skull and Bones, as Bush did.
When this brave young man questioned this ruling elitist pig about the Skull and Bones, he got jumped. I repeat, when he asked about the Skull and Bones he was physically attacked by the cops and as far as I can see, Kerry just stood there. He called for the OTHERS to not interfere with the supression of someone asking important questions. Indeed, this boring recital by one of the world's most boring politicians was upstaged by this brave student who probably read about all the skeletons in Kerry's closet online.
I cannot tell everyone how much I hate the Skull and Bones. It was launched partially by one of my direct ancestors, Henry Steele. I must say, the intersection between lightning and his involvement in founding this magic coven is very queer and has affected my own upbringing. I have many connections to the Skull and Bones and they hate me and I hate them and they know it and they hope no one listens to me when I say, they are practicing black magic and pray for the death of democracy!
Their magic number is 322 and any combination thereof. 323 is when Alexander the Great suddenly died at a young age in...BAGHDAD. 322 is when democracy died in Athens. Kerry is pretending to be protecting democracy yet when he was asked about 322, he said he didn't know anything which was a total lie. When Bush was asked about the Skull and Bones, he pretended he didn't know if it still existed. When Yale is asked about Geronimo's skull, they clam up. The fact that Yale allows the devil spawn of the elites to run a CRYPT that is sealed off from all intrusions by the school as well as the police and there, they COMMIT CRIMES like grave robbing...my god.
These monsters are dead center in the darkest chambers of the pulsating heart of the Outer Darkness that is the Soul of the Ruling Class. According to witnesses, on April 15th at midnight, they initiate the new pledges who have to salute the Devil that is Death and they basically promise to serve His Satanic Majesty.
When Bush was running the first time, I and others raised a huge stink online about all this. The Apache indians in Arizona even enlisted me in their efforts to regain Geronimo's skull. Bush's uncle, Ned, gave them a skull via McCain (hisssss---making the sign of the Evil Eye here...) who handed it to them and the University of Arizona ran tests on it and said....IT WAS A CHILD'S SKULL.'
I was flabbergasted. Horrified. I said, 'Whose child? Where did these creeps get this skull???' McCain gave it back to Ned Bush!!!!!
MY GOD. I was called a fool for yelling about this. To this day, we don't know how these creeps got this skull and what monstrous things they did with it afterwards. And they are refusing to talk about Geronomo's skull.
No wonder this student was tasered. He talked about verboten things. Kerry didn't fly off the stage to defend him. Kerry didn't tell the cops to lay off. Nope. He stood there and told everyone to do NOTHING while obvious police brutality was going on!
I have spoken in public in the past more than once. One time, Al Sharpton wanted to clip me a tad so when I was in Bed-Stuy in NYC talking to a minority crowd and I was the only white person in the auditorium, Al's gang came in and began to chant, 'She is with the KKK.' I laughed and said, 'I forgot to bring my designer bed sheets!'
Then an elderly man stood up and said, 'If she is in the KKK then I am the Grand Dragon!' Everyone laughed and I continued my speech and even invited Al onstage.
I KNOW that Kerry could have taken positive steps to protect this student. And I believe he didnt' because he WANTED to see this poor kid punished for talking about verboten things! The rulers go to great lengths to mock anyone talking about their damned magic numbers and magic spells. This is a top priority for them. The idea that they get to have things happen on 'unlucky for you, lucky for the Skull and Bones' days is highest importance to them.
The nasty, snarly mess of 9/11 has everything to do with them having a host of magic number elements converge on a High Unholy Day. The hyper-magic of that day is incredible and it still disturbs the ruling elites as well as myself. People drive themselves crazy imagining all sorts of mechanisms for that day like bombs going off or missiles being fired but won't consider the heavy magic that went into that event.
Unlike in the sixties or even the early nineties when the ability to pass on information was still very limited, today, anyone can easily access tons of information about the Skull and Bones and their ilk. The fact that despite this, our last damn 'election' was between two nasty, evil monsters who lay in coffins while chanting to the worst of the Demons in Hell, was not discussed by the media or the candidates who lied about everything, anyway.
Well, the game is over, Kerry. You and Bush should be put on trial for war crimes and hung. And the chants of 'The Hangman is Death!' will ring in your ears!
The universities are prison camps where dissent is crushed and dissenters sent to Siberia. Free exchange of thoughts and examination of politically important information and philosophy are crushed with brutal force. We lost our Constitution in December, 2000. Since then, it gets only worse and worse. I don't see Kerry and his slimey buddies in the Senate making even one move to restore ANY of our Constitutional rights. Gitmo still runs, a Soviet prison camp in Cuba, Padilla was tried in a Kangaroo court after years of torture and convicted of THOUGHT CRIMES. And the new Attorney General is a rank Zionist who wants to reduce America to the same level as Israel where there are no rights, only privilages.
I warned the left years ago, if Israel has no Constitution, America will end up with no Constitution! And I warned everyone, once we tear this thing up, restoring it is much harder. And the brutality rained upon the head of an innocent student questioning Skull and Bonesman Kerry the Killer in Vietnam comes as no surprise in our present police state.
Kerry better stand up in the Senate and demand all this be undone...hahaha. Fat chance. The least he can do is give me the key to the Crypt at Yale and let me go inside and poke around. I bet I can find more than one skeleton in that dark closet.
The persecution of the son of Holocaust survivors continues. Norman Finkelstein is being rapidly destroyed by Zionists angry with his research about the Holocaust. If he were in Europe, they could put him in prison and maybe even starve him to death, eh? The contradictions embedded within the Jewish push to ethnic cleanse the Holy Land is rapidly destroying freedom of speech and open debate in America. And like the Hubbert story, this one is barely mentioned in the news because the Zionists want to disappear Professor Finkelstein. They want him dead every bit as much as Hitler wanted his parents dead.
CHICAGO — DePaul University canceled the one remaining class taught by a controversial professor who has accused some Jews of improperly using the legacy of the Holocaust.
Norman Finkelstein, whose work led to a long-running public feud with Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz, says he may respond by committing civil disobedience when classes resume Sept. 5.
Finkelstein, 53, was denied tenure in June after six years on the DePaul faculty, but he was permitted to teach for the one year remaining on his contract.
On Friday, however, the university e-mailed students saying that Finkelstein's sole political science course had been canceled. By Monday, the books for the course had been pulled from the DePaul bookstore's shelves.
DePaul claims they want to protect open debate and scholarship. I would suggest they have a book burning. When Bush wanted to leak out the bad news of all his arrests and his AWOL cowardice, he chose a man with an arrest record, Jim Hatfield, to be his biographer. Then, when the book full of revelations direct from Karl Rove's mouth was published, Rove jumped in and said, 'Burn these books! The author is a criminal!'
This is how I got to know Jim, by the way. I wanted to save his books. He committed suicide the night the FBI visited him while he was on a book tour.
Finkelstein's books are still being published but his university won't sell them or Zionist benefactors won't give DePaul any more money. This is blood money. It is killing the University. But the University's board of directors don't care. They entered the Cave of Death and discovered, one can get lots and lots of money if one makes deals with devils. There is endless money to be made this way since they can make it with a snap of their fingers!
The University, when under fire of a screaming army of Zionists, should have stood its ground. They could have accepted cuts in funds. They should have protected scholarship and defied the Nazis demanding this victim of earlier Naziism be killed off. I just makes me ill, watching all the attacks on Norman. And he has so few tools to fight back. But one is the internet! Because of this, he has a huge audience watching the crimes being committed against him and silencing scholars is a crime! A terrible crime!
Here is a screen shot of Google showing how very few publications are carrying this story:
From Fox News:
The American Association of University Professors is preparing a letter to the university protesting Finkelstein's treatment as a serious violation of academic ethics, the Chicago Tribune reported Tuesday.
Finkelstein told the newspaper that he planned to wage his own campaign against the administration.
"I intend to go to my office on the first day of classes and, if my way is barred, to engage in civil disobedience," Finkelstein said. "If arrested, I'll go on a hunger strike. If released, I'll do it all over again. I'll fast in jail for as long as it takes."
After he was denied tenure, Finkelstein, a son of Holocaust survivors, posted a letter on his Web site explaining the school officials' reasons, including Finkelstein's "deliberately hurtful" scholarship along, lack of involvement with the school and tendency for public clashes with other scholars
A great heart, this man is what I call 'a hero.' Jimmy Carter, when the screeching army of Zionist ethic cleansers went after him, apologized and tried to please them as they stomped him into the earth. He is now utterly crushed by them and lives in fear, they now are pushing us into WWIII by egging us into attacking Iran and it is up to all of us to stop this. The confluence of forces flowing out of WWI and WWII are going to cause WWIII. They are one and the same. The battle over the Holy Land will drag us all down into hell on earth.
The Holocaust is used by Zionists seeking to imitate Hitler. Anyone interfering with this gets destroyed. Anyone trying to parse the story of the Holocaust or accusing the Jews of practicing Naziism, is destroyed if they have any public crediblity. I have been banned from most leftist web sites because I talk about WWIII and Zionism's role within.
But this is why we have no antiwar movement to speak of! Poor Cindy Sheehan opened her mouth and talked about Palestine and instantly was destroyed and is now virtually never in the news. I said long ago, either the antiwar movement demands the disarming of Israel's nukes as well as the US arsenals of WMD or we can all go home and build bomb shelters. Good luck, duelling with cockroaches for food afterwards!
DePaul University in Chicago canceled the one remaining course taught by a professor who has accused some Jews of using the legacy of the Holocaust to stifle criticism of Israel. The professor, Norman Finkelstein, above, says he may respond by committing civil disobedience when classes resume Sept. 5. Mr. Finkelstein, 53, was denied tenure in June after six years on the DePaul faculty, but he was allowed to teach for the one year left on his contract. Mr. Finkelstein’s most recent book, “Beyond Chutzpah,” is largely an attack on “The Case for Israel,” by Alan Dershowitz, a Harvard law professor. Its publication led to a public feud, with Mr. Dershowitz threatening to sue Mr. Finkelstein’s publisher and urging DePaul to reject his tenure bid.

No interviews? Did all the Jews working for the editorial page (quite a number, by the way) rise to the occasion and demand that this professor be restored to his position? Did any of them talk about freedom of speech and persecution? Did any of them mention his parents? Nacht und Nebel! As my screenshot shows, the NYT has carried this story as little as possible. Less than 5 mentions in the last 5 years! Amazing, isn't it?
I was amused to see this on the search page for 'Norman Finkelstein':
Medieval torture? Hahaha. Inquisition? Indeed. Tell the truth and get tortured.
I know what it is like to be disappeared. This happens to me, regularly. I make the national news and then they rub me out again. At first, this annoyed me greatly. Now I find it very funny. But then, they can't destroy my job prospects, I have none anyway. I am nobody and everybody at the same time. Whenn the net first came up and was only for a few places within the science/NASA community, the first thing that happened was, people began to lie about me. The second was, I began a huge argument about WWIII. 20 years later, this continues.
The NYT knows the Finkelstein story is very big. They know they should send a reporter who isn't a Nazi to cover this. Evidently, there are none. So it lives online as desperate posters like myself try to spread the information. Counterpunch, for example, has heroically covered all of Finkelstein's writings and travails for years now.
Professor Norman Finkelstein is one of a dying breed of American mavericks that relentlessly defies any attempt at easy categorization. He is the son of Holocaust survivors but an unremitting critic of Holocaust reparation claims; a Jew but is a life-long anti Zionist; and though very much a Leftist, he is often praised by far Right revisionists of the Third Reich, such as Hitler-admiring historian David Irving. He initially made his name by revealing Joan Peter's massively successful From Time Immemorial (a book heavily promoted by the Israeli lobby, that claimed there were no native Arabs before Zionist immigration into Palestine), as a colossal fraud, and for 10 years he was a Professor of Political Science at New York University.
I have read him for years. My heart goes out to him. I know a bit, how he feels. It is so easy to go along with lies. To play along as others push reality all out of shape. There are great rewards for warping reality! Wealth and power! Defying the liars is dangerous. They can't exist unless everyone looks away, everyone cooperates. The need to force everyone into an ideological or political straight jacket is life and death for liars or criminals!
Counterpunch:
In its initial hardback edition, The Holocaust Industry was a tremendous success in many nations (selling 130 000 copies in a few weeks on its publication in Germany), but in America its sales were limited to a paltry 12000. This relative failure stateside is attributed at least in part by Finkelstein to a fatwah by the Jewish establishment--he notes indignantly that the New York Times book review was much more hostile toward The Holocaust Industry than it was even to Adolf Hitler's 'Mein Kampf'. Now the revised paperback edition has just been released many of these same periodicals are uncharacteristically silent, perhaps thinking they can kill it more effectively through lack of exposure rather than outright aggression. The following is an interview conducted with Norman Finkelstein on 15 October 2001, on the eve of the paperback's publication.
My father was one of the first officers to walk into two concentration camps. I have gone to Dachau to represent him at a ceremony for the anniversary of the liberation. We are very connected to all this mess. The gross reality of Hitler's ethnic cleansing must be understood properly. He wasn't out to kill the Jews, he was out to kill...EVERYONE. His twisted mind was set on a process of elimination. He wanted no Jews, no Gypsies, no Slavs, no...the list grew and grew. The definition of who was a superman and who was to be killed contracted more and more until 90% of the Nazis themselves were not on the list! It was pure madness.
And humans tend towards madness. The European and American Jews invading Palestine and killing or driving away a people who were, until 1945, living as if it were the Middle Ages, people who looked like our concept of Jesus, of Moses, all these people who were Semites or Phoenicians or ancient tribes from Ur, they were maginalized and made to disappear. Tribes that lived in Palestine since Abraham's day were suddenly turned into newcomers while tribes that hadn't lived there for thousands of years were suddenly elevated into sole ownership of the region. This is going to start WWIII because it can't be fixed. So long as everyone thinks some god living in the Outer Darkness has given them permission to kill everyone else and be the sole possessors of this lovely planet, well, we get WWIII. And we all lose.
The simple act of discussing the wisdom of the founding of a violent ethnic cleansing state dedicated to deciding who is a Jew (hint: my own son whose father is a Levy, doesn't qualify). This is so like Naziism. In the bitter end, no one was a pure Aryan. As if there was such a creature in the first place, the many tribes flowing out of the Great Plains of Europe, riding horses, is a long story in the bloody history of humanity.
Scholarship and research into the history of the tribal invasions of Europe or the exodus from the African Garden of Eden, the origins of man, are terrifying subjects for many people who fear the truth because it collides with their desires to be gods or be loved by gods or to justify our rule of the earth. Throughout history, anyone crossing the madcap territory being fought over was attacked with ferocity. Note how Darwin had to be a recluse, an outsider, to write about evolution of man!
I am glad Professor Finkelstein has the support of other professors in his fight. But it isn't enough. All scholars should understand, they are all being locked in the same prison. They may imagine they are free but only if they stay in their separate cages.
Counterpunch:
You stated in a BBC interview that your radical politics have exacted 'a substantial personal cost' to yourself. Have you found yourself alienated from mainstream Jewish life?
I wouldn't say that alienation has been the price because I have managed to find a crowd of people who share my values in my life, which has been quite satisfying to me. I'd say that without wanting to pose a martyr, that I've paid a professional price for my views. Most recently I taught at Hunter College, City University of New York, and every semester I was the highest rated professor in my department on student evaluations, I had also published in the last five years, four books and I would say that in every reckoning I had proven myself to be worthy as a professor. Nonetheless, I was always the lowest paid by far, I had the heaviest teaching load, and this past May after 10 years faithful service at slave wages, I was let go and forced--at the ripe old age of 49--to relocate to Chicago to find temporary work.
I had to work hard all my own life. Note that I don't teach at a university. This isn't accidental. I had to accept fate when quite young. OK: there has to be more than one way to fulfill one's need to talk about the unspeakable. And thanks to the internet, I found this thing. And so has he. If there was no internet, he would have been destroyed long ago. But make no mistake: his sufferings are real and significant. He is cut off from his own tribe and this does hurt. He braves his way forwards but it is hard, very hard. The temptation to lay down and get along with crimes of his ethnic group is overwhelming and the fact that he resists, heroic.
DePaul Students Put Administration on Notice: We Will Defend Academic Freedom!
Prof. Finkelstein,
As I am sure you have heard by now, we have come together and have incorporated ourselves as a student group. There are only two weeks left of summer before school starts and we are trying to to plan activities on campus to raise awareness and increase pressure. With this, we wanted to ask you a few questions to help us better organize ourselves. We are planning on having a press conference and meeting of solidarity with students and supporters from the community at Jonquil park at 8 a.m. Wednesday September 5th on the morning of your first class, and walk with you to class. We know that there is still a possibility of you not being allowed on campus, and if you are not allowed to return to teach, are you willing to come to the press conference/meeting? Are you willing to walk with us to class? Teach the class? Also, would you be willing to making your first class open to the public, if you are legally allowed too? Finally, on September 19th, would you be willing to visit our University Without Walls, to speak on a subject of your choice?
No matter what you choose, we are behind you, and will support you to the utmost of our ability.
We have other things planned and will continue to keep you updated on our progress.
There are many people who admire him. A lot of people imagine Dr. Martin Luther King was greatly admired when alive. This is false. He was hunted and hated. And killed. His iconic god-like status was after he was removed and couldn't talk about things anymore. Imagine if he were supporting the Palestinian fight for civil rights! Oh my.
Ze'ev Dratva, a Holocaust survivor, was among the marchers. "How many years do the survivors have left? Barely a year or two," he shouted.
He said he knew survivors who were miserable, and could not afford false teeth or one warm meal a day.
Some survivors were comforted by the sight of the thousands marching for them, including the youths carrying anti-government posters. Yehuda Frenkel, who came from Kiryat Haim, was moved. He could not remember a greater show of solidarity since he immigrated to Israel, after surviving the concentration camps. He had objected to the demonstration at first, if only because of the shame and embarrassment. But in view of the government's callousness, he had concluded there was no other way.
"I want the Germans to know where the money they gave Israel went," he said angrily. "I want the Germans to know that Israel took the money we should have received. I want them to answer one question: Where did our money go?"
Yes, this is another story that doesn't make the news in the USA. The NYT or WP didn't send reporters. Nor did they even bother mentioning this story. The money for the Holocaust is being used to create the Holocaust II in Palestine. It isn't going to the victims of Hitler. And this is part of what I call, the Black Magic side of money and power. As Jews in the US and invaders in Palestine both go about Europe demanding more blood money, they are not giving it to the victims of Hitler because part of making magic money is to do things the opposite of what they really are. So collecting money to pay for past ethnic cleansing and then using it to ethnic cleanse is a process they must do since this produces more power and wealth!
Helping elderly victims of Hitler isn't good at all so they kick them aside. The dual cruelty here troubles Finkelstein a great deal, he having a huge heart, so he tries to tell us about this which means the people committing these crimes and extortion is a crime, it fuels their fury and they try ever harder, to suppress and silence him.

Dear Prof. Finkelstein,
As I look down your list of articles with the oh-so-cute introductory comments, I am reminded of something that every intelligent person realizes. Sarcasm is the mode of expression of last resort for those who have no more cogent or substantial means of making a point or substantiating a position. Your sarcasm is excellent and probably is a real reflection of personality. No normal person values sarcasm in a parent, teacher, spouse or friend, and no probing reader finds it reflective of anything but weakness.
Regarding all your letters of support: there is a general tendancy for people who oppose an action to be far more activist and expressive than those who agree. There are certainly numerous men and woman who approve of DePaul's action for every one who does not. What that ratio is can not be accurately guaged. Neither you nor the DePaul staff is likely to hear from this army of relieved individuals. But if your display of support makes you feel better and enhances your self-esteem as a champion of a cause, print away. Self-delusion serves its purposes, however transiently. I say this without any sarcasm and I do hope you will print this.
Dr. Charles Carlton
Note how relieved an unknown number of people will be if Finkelstein is destroyed. Why, they can eat their meals, go to sleep, spend money and steal stuff without any qualms or tugs of guilty fears! The staff at this pathetic University want their money and are afraid this man will cut the gravy, overturn their apple cart and make life hard for them. He could bring down the wrath of the ruling elites upon their heads. They want to....work hard for WWIII. During the Vietnam war, I warned universities about this. They become part of the Death Machine, they are then responsible for the crimes of the military. The US has dealt with all this by openly declaring, the US is NEVER guilty of any war crimes, ever, due to being the 'Good Guys.' And the Israeli Jews committing daily crimes against the natives of the Holy Land use their pretend god as their excuse for being cruel and criminal.
Ergo, the popularity of these sorts of bloody gods, I guess. I am glad my own pantheon doesn't feature these sorts of gods. Wish everyone was equally sensible. If you need a god, please don't make him a mass murderer!
"In the opinion of those opposing tenure, your unprofessional personal attacks divert the conversation away from consideration of ideas, and polarize and simplify conversations that deserve layered and subtle consideration," school President Dennis Holtschneider wrote in a letter dated June 8. DePaul at the time verified the letter was authentic.
Ah, such a subtle conversation that is going on! I have debated Zionists for many years. I was Mrs. Levy for a long time and deep within the Jewish community in NYC and I know it very well, my father-in-law was a publisher (time for more laughter---I certainly was not published, ever). The debate I witnessed from the front row seats was over whether or not to accept my son or anyone attached to me, as 'Jewish.' Indeed, the debate was whether or not to declare my husband at the time, dead! For sleeping with a tainted female despite my own 'Jewish blood' that would have gotten me killed in Nazi Germany!
Talking about all this, indeed, is verboten even as it rages in both Israel and New York City! The NYT sometimes mentions this debate but then shies away. The many layers muffling all this are incredible. I have been actually left standing on a street corner by relatives who refused to drive in the same car with me because I wasn't Jewish enough, just for example. A heartless form of Zionism, they moved to Israel to inflict themselves upon the natives there who are probably just as displeased and horrified by such mindless discrimination.
It's an irony that the boys from the Palestinian Under-19 squad are intently watching a recording of last Wednesday's England friendly against Germany at Wembley on the Al-Jazeera Sports channel when we arrive. If they are feeling any sense of Schadenfreude at seeing the home team go down 2-1, team-mates Abdullah Sada, Muhammad al Ashram and Muhammed Asdudi are far too polite to show it. Yet they could be forgiven for uninhibitedly cheering the visitors' victory, given the disappointment they have just suffered at the hands of Her Majesty's Government.
This summer the 22 boys, who have beaten scores of other young club players to be selected for the Palestinian Under-19s - the majority of them from Gaza - have been training hard for what would have been, for them, the undisputed highlight of the past two years, among the toughest in Gaza's turbulent history.
As the ghetto doors slam shut on these poor people, we should remember the survivors will be very dangerous and won't forget their past. And the debate over the past of these people, the Palestinians, will be fought over just like we struggle to deal with the Holocaust itself. And the ethnic cleansing mess continues to roil within the Jewish community, not all Jews are Zionists, obviously. Here is yet another example of this mess:
The national Anti-Defamation League fired its New England regional director yesterday, one day after he broke ranks with national ADL leadership and said the human rights organization should acknowledge the Armenian genocide that began in 1915.
The firing of Andrew H. Tarsy, who had served as regional director for about two years and as civil rights counsel for about five years before that, prompted an immediate backlash among prominent local Jewish leaders against the ADL's national leadership and its national director, Abraham H. Foxman.
"My reaction is that this was a vindictive, intolerant, and destructive act, ironically by an organization and leader whose mission -- fundamental mission -- is to promote tolerance," Newton businessman Steve Grossman, a former ADL regional board member, said yesterday.
At no time in its history since 1948, has the ADL been anything but an arm of suppression and cruelty. Note how Mr. Tarsy, when he stood up for right over wrong, was terminated. At least his story made the local news. But the NYT and WP won't talk about this. Maybe they will do a vague story in the future that won't include the information assembled here! They want everyone to feel sorry for powerful Jews who control a goodly chunk our universities and media. Indeed, the prohibition about talking about this Jewish influence is trmendously strong. It is, indeed, not ever mentioned and if it is, anyone talking about it is accused of being a Nazi!
The report quoted Rubinstein as condemning the security fence, saying that "even if the wall followed strictly the line of the pre-1967 border, it would still not be justified. The two peoples needed cooperation rather than walls because they must be neighbors."
On Friday, the Zionist Federation released a press release, saying "Rubinstein's participation in this weekend's Zionist Federation conference in London has been cancelled by mutual agreement."
"The ZF regularly holds meetings where a wide variety of views are expressed, and while there is no question that Rubinstein has every right to express his views about Israel, it was mutually agreed that his participation in the Zionist Federation conference became untenable," the statement said.
Here we see it yet again: a prominent Jewish writer tells the truth and is instantly crushed or pushed into exile. Wide views within a very narrow range are allowed...barely. Eventually, all debate will cease as anyone refusing to obey orders is eliminated and the chase to find the perfect Jew will fall into the same trap the chase to breed the perfect Aryan fell into. The scholarship of the Jews are slowly being warped and turned just the same way as the scholarship studying the language and history of the Aryan nomads slowly warped until it became an excuse for mass murder and theft.
Not to boast, but I was a child genius who did all sorts of amazing and very annoying things including taking graduate courses at 18, etc. I was precocious and totally obnoxious. So I read this stupid story making the rounds this week about a girl 'genius' with great trepidation. Heh. She is like me only much nicer. I was a total brat at only one year of age and I decided, true geniuses were brats.
Her parents knew Georgia Brown was bright. After all, she could count to ten, recognised her colours and was even starting to dabble with French.
But it was only when their bubbly little two-year-old took an IQ test that her towering intellect was confirmed.
Georgia has become the youngest female member of Mensa after scoring a genius-rated IQ of 152.
At first I wondered if she was worse then me. But then I saw the 'test': can she draw a circle? Use adult language (oh god, that was fun when I was two!), etc. This is all simple stuff. When I was tested at two, the doctor asked me to draw a circle. Since I was born at Yerkes Observatory to two parents who were bona fide genius astronomers and other skills too many to name, the University of Chicago thought I should be tested. Well, I didn't draw a circle, that is boring, I drew a whole village of round headed people with streets that were really just three lines that intersected and the stick figures walked on the lines. But then I was asked to draw squares so I made a village of square headed people!
I could talk like a professor, geeze, my parents were professors and my baby sitter was Karl Sagan! I was surrounded by the top astronomers of the world and I played under Einstein's desk, once. I loved hiding under desks because this was part of my plan to dominate the world by spying on the geniuses of the world and then blackmailing them.
From the Mail story of the girl genius:
(The mother) contacted Professor Joan Freeman, a specialist educational psychologist, for advice.
Professor Freeman applied the standard Stamford-Binet Intelligence Scale test to Georgia and was amazed to find this was too limited to map her creative abilities.
When 'The Family Guy' came out, I collapsed laughing at the youngest child, that, in a nutshell, was myself! I happily ran in and out of Yerkes observatory, day and night, doing whatever I wanted. I figured out how to read books and then music, mostly on my own. So I was like my sister Mary or Carolyn, able to play many instruments over my life, etc. And all my brothers and sisters were obnoxious geniuses. They still are! They never change, rats.
Well, back to my wayward youth: the downside to all this is, one is often smarter than the adults. My parents were accustomed to dealing with a pack of savage genius children who were total brats, they told us to shut up or they would hit us. Heh. I got good at blocking shots. And when I went to school: hell on earth.
In kindergarten, my teacher told us to put on our aprons and fingerpaint. I told her, 'I don't need an apron, I paint very neatly, thank you.' She yelled at me. So I painted a lovely picture using yellow, red and blue and even mixing the colors to get green, a spring picture of grass, flowers and trees. She punished me by slapping her fat ugly hands on my painting and smearing it! I kicked her and was punished by the principal.
In retaliation, I was still only 4 and 1/2, since I got a high score on my tests, I was let in school early, she asked us to bring interesting things to show and tell. I caught a large snake and put it in my bag. I got up and said, 'I love to find things in the fields behind the observatory and this is a nice thing to have as a pet.'
I pulled it out and she screamed and ran from the room. It was as big as me. By the way, since then I have had a bobcat, a poisonous Gila Monster, countless tarantualas, lizards, cats, dogs, horses, all sorts of wild birds, oxen, a monkey, etc, etc. I lived in a zoo most of my life and this kept my mother out of my room and my affairs because she was scared of most of my pets. Ha.
Obnoxious: that's me! I was obnoxious to school mates. In first grade, my teacher gave me the school reading book. I flipped through it and gave it back to her. 'Can I have another book?' I asked. When she told me, it was for the WHOLE EFFING YEAR, I broke into tears and she sent me to the principal who hated my guts.
Gads, can't blame him. I spent most of my childhood, happy in the library. The teachers could have me for an hour or so and then off I would skip! La, la, la. Since my fellow students didn't like this, we fought all the time. I learned more fighting techniques in school as a child, I devoured movies, tapes and books on fighting and spent my adulthood, learning how to sword fight, fist fight and shoot things.
Because I could understand adult talk at my mother's breats, I was a menace at home because I spied on my parents who were spies. This was tons of fun, I even stole their IBM typewriter tapes to decipher what they wrote in letters. I pried into their affairs to the point, the CIA warned me to stop. Heh. So I pried into other affairs, the government was my target. At 14, I decided I should engineer a revolution and take over.
I took all sorts of genius tests and got genius goodies like early-out of prison permission from the goal called 'school' and when I was only 16, my parents gave me full adult rights in court just so they could get me out from underfoot and out of their office and their files! So when I was arrested in Germany when only 17, the Staatspolizei couldn't believe I had full adult rights until the State Department confirmed this. I was still deported.
But when I was a teen, I had my own house and car. I was in school and telling jokes in class and memorizing things instantly and giving lots of headaches to the government because of my deep political activities and the endless reams of leaflets I wrote on a nearly daily basis on top of writing my and other people's term papers.
I sailed along happily. Once, when I was still 17, I won permission to take a graduate course. I dressed very conservatively in a suit I got in Germany and sat primly in the front of the class. The professor slunk into the room, grumpling about 'That stupid bratty teenager' he had to teach. I asked him questions and comisserated with him. 'I bet she is terrible. I hope you can kick her out,' I said.
Then, when everyone was there, he read the names on his list and when he came to the last name, he was very pale indeed. He choked and tried to read my name as I sat there grinning like the Cheshire cat. 'What are you going to do to me?' he asked in despair.
'I want you to be my advisor! You tell me the truth!' I said happily. And Professor Oncks became a dear friend. Alas, the things I learned in school were not money makers so far. Indeed, when I was only 19, I got a contagious disease and nearly died. I had a 105 fever for three days and went into a coma. When I came out, I couldn't read. I also couldn't walk.
I remember trying to write to Prof. Onchs, 'Dear Prof, I can't remember anything.' I would pass out and then write this same sentence again when I came to. He was very upset when he got this letter.
But I learned something. I couldn't read anymore, so I watched Sesame Street with my young nieces. I would call out the letters and numbers. Then I graduated to three box comic strips. I would forget the first box by the time I got to the last so I would do it over and over until I could figure out how they were connected.
Rapidly, I began to recover but never again would I have photographic memory, the ability to pick up anything, any time, music or physical stuff. I had to now learn things the hard way like everyone else. Guess what?
THIS WAS WONDERFUL! The post-genius phase was much easier than the pre-frontal lobotomy phase. I was a totally obnoxious brat and got worse as a teenager. Authorities kicked me out of everything and I would storm rough shod over anyone, anywhere. I couldn't be outwitted at a ridiculous age (try having sex with someone like that...it is impossible). I dropped out of college because the post-genius Elaine could have sex finally and I got pregnant with my first child and had to support her. This led me into construction since my devious plans to have a revolution and then take over America collapsed. Heh.
So I moved to NYC and got involved in real estate. Only I don't really want money and have a wide number of reasons to avoid getting rich at anyone's expense so I live within my means and charted a course that is safe and sane only I ended up raising my second child in a tent on a mountain out in the middle of nowhere.
When I was 15, I belonged to a club we started that was for geniuses. At our first meeting, we decided we all loved each other and then we discovered, all our dads were heads of their departments at the University of Arizona and then we figured out that we were all insane and we spent several years going nuts together. One of the hanger-ons in our group is the guy who does the TV show, the Simpsons. Um, hello, Lisa. Lisa is actually Lisa and Anne. I am the bratty one, ahem. The one that is the most obnoxious and likes to fight.
Aside from that, one of our group became a comix book artist and writer. And I became a burr under Bush's saddle. The hopes of youth wither into the goofy present as we cannot fathom based on some dopey psychological tests, who will be a 'genius.' Just for example, my son's ability with numbers far surpasses my own but he was very clumsy as a child and didn't walk until 3 (ah, like Einstein and a host of other geniuses!). My daughter walked at 9 months, spoke like an adult at 3 and drove all her teachers nuts and she struggled to do math at age 16 that her brother breezed through at age 9!
She spoke English perfectly as a child, he had to have speech therapy and the basic grammar of English explained and didn't master the language until he was 12. He now learns any language he wants to focus on in a flash as an adult! And this is the true mystery of 'genius': it has its own stages, ages and styles as well as manifestations. It also doesn't mean one will be great in adulthood. Many geniuses, due to the need to be obnoxious, have a very hard slog in life. Indeed, I would call it a handicap!
I suggested to Yale, where they study this stuff, child geniuses should be allowed to refuse school and instead, be moved to some island with lots of wild animals, swings, swords (heh), a huge library and a bunch of computers along with regular tools, a lab and an observatory. Then they can park us there for those dangerous years and not worry that some of us might want to take over the world, at least, not until we get our mechas perfected and rigged up with sufficient laser weapons!
Ah, and this has to be multi-national and we must get Japanese TV. Thank you.
A man whose parents were tortured by Nazis and who lost all his other relatives to the Holocaust has been denied tenure by DePaul University because he questions the Zionist mythology of the Holocaust! Pursuing the truth he has been attacked by enraged fascistic Zionist power-houses who have successfully presuaded all their fellows to shun a real bonafide Nazi victim! For daring to talk about the Palestinians, for daring to reveal the mascinations of fake Holocaust victims while defending the very real people who suffered and died thanks to the Nazis: I keep warning the Jewish community, aping Hilter is stupid. And this is exactly that: censoring debate, attacking people for daring to talk about history! Gads. Disgusting.
Norman Finkelstein, the political scientist whose bid for a permanent position at DePaul University stirred up charges of anti-Semitism, personal vendettas and outside interference in the hiring process, was informed Friday that he had been denied tenure by the university.
Mr. Finkelstein said he clearly “met the publishing standards and the teaching standards required for tenure” and that DePaul’s decision was based on “transparently political grounds” and an “egregious violation” of academic freedom.
DePaul’s political science department had voted to award Mr. Finkelstein tenure, but the University Board on Promotion and Tenure rejected his bid. DePaul’s president, the Rev. Dennis H. Holtschneider, upheld that decision. In a letter to Mr. Finkelstein, Father Holtschneider wrote that Mr. Finkelstein is an excellent teacher and a nationally recognized public intellectual but does not “honor the obligation” to “respect and defend the free inquiry of associates.”
This statement that Professor Finkelstein isn't 'respecting' anyone is pure hogwash and the President of the University is perfectly aware of this. I remember the play created in England that was about the American citizen, Rachel Corrie, who was run over again and again by a huge bulldozer driven by an Israeli Jew. When this play was produced in New York City, all the neo-fascists who give money to the Arts told the director they would defund the Theater and destroy his career if he let this story appear on stage! So he dropped it.
And everywhere anyone tries to put on this play, these budding Hitlers rush to the phone to make threats. And they have succeeded in not only lying about her, refusing to cover her story in the New York Times and then leaving out the video showing the obvious murder, they hid all this an just like with the neo-Nazi attack on the USS Liberty, the ruling elite Jews in America worked hard to muzzle the sailors and to buy them off with blood money from the US government, etc. To this day, the Pentagon won't make a memorial to them or mention their names nor does anyone weep for them, there are no walls with their names, nothing.
If it weren't for the internet, no one would even be aware that this happened or that the dead ever existed! And this, my friends, is Naziism. And the Jewish community is addicted to Naziism. They have taken the mantle with the big black squashed spider on a red bloody background and made it their own.
From the NYT:
In a statement Father Holtschneider said the outside attention paid to Mr. Finkelstein’s bid for tenure “was unwelcome and inappropriate and had no impact on either the process or the outcome of this case.” He added: “Some will consider this decision in the context of academic freedom. In fact academic freedom is alive and well at DePaul.”
Academic freedom has been murdered. Raped. And the criminals are Jewish supporters of the fascist religious state of Israel. They will destroy anyone who questions their campaign to have a religious dictatorship modeled on the Nazis' philosphy of 'blood and land'. There is only one ending to this sordid tale: the destruction of the State of Israel in a massive nuclear war launched by the USA in a desperate attempt to make the world safe for ethnic/religious cleansing.
Bush's visit to the former Yugoslavia and to Albania where he celebrated the break up of Yugoslavia and suggested that bloody wars to separate people out according to ethnic or religious affiliations or blood are good. Indeed, we invaded Iraq and now that land is being torn apart at the seams just like Yugoslavia!
And all use the model of Israel as justification for butchering neighbors and pushing them into ghettoes.
In the USA, if anyone talks about this, they are either marginalized or attacked. A former President dared to write about all this and poor Jimmy Carter has been treated to the Jewish shunning to an amazing degree after they ran a battery of attack articles against him. Now he no longer exists. The poor man lurks around hoping the Jewish owners of so many cultural outlets will forgive him.
They won't. Like the Southerners who to this day hate former slaves and hate the Union even as they scream 'God Bless America,' so it is with these Zionists: they salute our Constitution and nation but only if it serves their genetic cleansing purposes. And this week is the same week 40 years ago, a nice Jewish lawyer, Cohen, fought for free on behalf of a married black/white couple, the Lovings, for the right to marry. He won and in this victory, freed Jewish people so they could also have civil rights for many laws and barriers were thrown in front of them here due to racism and anti-semitism.
But now that is all being cast aside and the Jewish community lusts for every single olive tree, weed and mud hut of the Holy Land, one of the most destructive places on earth, a land that imagines they have God and who hates Pegasus and other beings who have just as much right to be heavenly as the bloody butcher of the Bible. For example, at no point has Pegasus planned to kill us all or send us to hell. He just wants to do whatever flying horses do on Mt. Olympus. Heh.
But seriously, the fact that anyone has a religion that is all about them having the right to butcher people is horrible and this goes for all those religions. Sharing this poor planet, our Garden of Eden means being nice to people we don't like. And sharing means not invading and stealing although we all do this, my ancestors ran all over the place doing this, they were Normans, after all. And this includes going to Jerusalem in the First Crusade and killing EVERYONE there, the streets ran with blood.
None of us can hold our heads high in this matter. But today, the problem is the Zionists and their wicked, cruel desire to shout down, shut up and arrest or harrass anyone who wants to talk about their goals, their plans, their actions, their lies. Just like scholars are persecuted in Austria if they question the Holocaust's details or scholars are persecuted in Egypt or Iran if they talk about Mohammed and his own bloody history, everyone wants to shut up all discussion of history so they can live in a fantasy land whereby God loves only THEM and grants them the right to murder whoever they want. Gah.
From the NYT:
Mr. Finkelstein said he plans to leave Chicago for New York. “Teaching is in my bones. I love to teach,” he said, but he added that as a result of this “blacklisting, I will be barred from ever entering a college classroom again.”
Nonetheless, any temptation to “indulge in a bout of self-pity,” he said, was halted by thinking of his parents, who survived the Warsaw ghetto and the Nazi death camps while the rest of his relatives were exterminated. “They survived,” he said. “I’ll survive.”
I hope all those fascists pretending to be the protectors of the Jewish people are happy. They are foolish, thinking all this will stop people from hating them. Well, these very actions are the nails in the coffins of their own hopes for a future! The more they do this, the greater the danger! For the justification for annihlation which they themselves are embracing is really a coffin: this greenlights anyone doing likewise. And the American Christian community thinks it is a great idea to ship all Jews to the Holy Land where they can then all be killed by the Antichrist and Jesus himself.
Both being bloody nasty people.
And this disgusts me because we are all related, all of us. And indeed, all living things are related and this is in conjunction with the news that most rightwingers hate evolution and believe that the bloody Father of Jesus, a very nasty creature who has tried to kill all living things in the past, made us all out of thin air and we have no relations with each other. Well, this is how we create WWIII: everyone thinks they have a right, in the name of these various incarnations of this particular god (I'm leaving pagans out of this) is going to kill each other in a vast firestorm.
Halleluja. Great. I wish I could stop all this. But I am also being shunned just like Finkelstein. From day one, I had to argue myself into talking about Zionism. This was because I did want to be 'popular'. But then I got really angry and said, 'The hell with this.' And since then, I just say what has to be said.
As I said after the latest massacre, the USA culture loves mass murder and it entertains us. The lastest story concerning this is interesting because it is a window onto our bloody empire and the children who are being raised to kill others in the name of this empire.
A high school senior was arrested after writing that "it would be funny" to dream about opening fire in a building and having sex with the dead victims, authorities said.
Another passage in the essay advised his teacher at Cary-Grove High School: "don't be surprised on inspiring the first CG shooting," according to a criminal complaint filed this week.
Allen Lee, 18, faces two disorderly conduct charges over the creative-writing assignment, which he was given on Monday in English class at the northern Illinois school.
The creative writing teacher wanted to get the kids to 'open up' and this means prying open the Pandora's box of psychopathic dreams and fantasies of the wayward youth who have grown up in this violent culture of ours. Actors who are movie mass killers can rise to the highest levels of our government like Schwarzenegger, for example. This is the land of Rambo where the guy who kills, rules.
Bush, a notorious AWOL coward, likes to pretend he is Rambo. Cheney is a cold blooded killer who even shoots friends and then demands they apologize and cover up the crime. So why would a teacher be alarmed by a child regurgitating all this?
The school is now scared of this kid. He is the guy in those Halloween movies, those many slasher films, all the spawn of Carrie, bloody hell hounds. Of course, children are not born this way. They should learn not to stuff fire crackers into frogs and blow them up after thunder storms, for example. Indeed, the key to tagging pathological murderers is not to look at what they write but to see if they enjoyed torturing animals. I predicted long before Bush launched his wars, he would murder millions of people. All based on the fact he enjoyed killing frogs.
The teenager's father, Albert Lee, has defended his son as a straight-A student who was just following instructions and contends the school overreacted. But he has also said he understands that the situation arose in the week after a Virginia Tech student gunned down 32 people before committing suicide.
Defense attorney Dane Loizzo said Allen Lee has never been disciplined in school and signed Marine enlistment papers last week.
And here it is: the kid is in trouble for dreaming of killing people and now he will go off to do the real thing. This is pathetic because men and women who enjoy torturing animals and dream of killing don't make good soldiers. They usually end up antagonizing whoever they are sent to subdue and look at the Middle East: we are losing our wars thanks to this very force.
Indeed, the quality of our troops, since they are recruited by luring them into wanting to kill, we are seeing the quality of our troops we hire deteriorating. The best and brightest are now becoming the most beastial and belligerent. Proof of this deterioration in recruitment shows up in the crime pages of the news media.
Eleven Fort Drum soldiers burst into a fellow soldier's home and attacked him and his wife, kicking him repeatedly and punching her in the face, authorities said Friday.
The attack late Wednesday was in retaliation for the earlier arrest of another soldier, state police said. The 11 were charged with burglary and one also was charged with second-degree assault for allegedly hitting the soldier's wife with a bottle.
This is in my own state of New York. The Mountain troops here were held up as great heroes and good soldiers. Now, it looks more like they are a band of drunk mercenaries, raiding nearby villages. And this is the flaw in 'privatizing' our military: the wars they wage no longer have to be popular, since there is no draft to anger the larger population, wars can rage for years and years and if the government outsources paying for all this by sending all the red ink to China, this merely means we can see wars rage for many years while the government arms open psychopaths who think it is FUNNY to dream of killing 'everyone.'
And we know another truth: these killing spreesters all come back home again. If no suicidal psychopath manages to kill them, first.
I was looking for information about Intel when I found this news story about this year's science winners and while reading their biographies, I noticed the number of musicians that were winners. Teaching classical music and music appreciation is falling off in public schools because lack of time and saving money by cutting 'non-essentials' is a cultural disaster. For the interface of difficult music and difficult science is quite strong.
Mary Masterman, a 17-year-old Westmoore High School senior from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, was awarded a $100,000 scholarship for describing the spectrograph system she built. Mary machined her own parts, and aligned her own optics. Using lenses from a camera and a microscope as well as a laser for her light source, Mary was able to separate the individual photons scattered by the tested molecules, similar to the effects a prism has on light, and record their wavelengths.
*snip*
Mary has been honored in the past for numerous science awards, and showcased a Raman Effect presentation at an American Astronomical Society conference. Ranked first of the 658 Westmoore High School students, Mary also enjoys painting, bird watching, and plays three instruments: piano, harp, and flute. Mary is planning to enroll in either MIT or CalTech.
First, Mary's biography is similar to my own in some rather frightening ways. When I was in Jr. High, I made a spectrograph, too. My father founded the first Laser Research Center at the University of Arizona but this was years before he did that. I machined all the parts, too.
Second, Mary plays three instruments as I did at her age.
The second place winner is a musician, too.
For his mathematics project that solved a classical open problem in differential geometry, John Pardon of Chapel Hill, North Carolina's Durham Academy received a $75,000 scholarship.
*snip*
John also plays cello for the Honors All State Orchestra, and spent a summer working on a Costa Rican organic farm. John is looking to study math and computer science at either CalTech or Princeton.
Like myself, he plays the cello. And I was in All State, too. And first chair in the school orchestra. Of all the classical musicians I knew during those years, going into college and beyond, the number of scientists and doctors or striving for degrees in the sciences or architecture was very high.
Lots and lots of mathematical geniuses and computer programmers. People who liked to play with intellectual riddles and puzzles, people who liked complexity and penetrating the inner workings of things love classical music and take the time and trouble, and it is a lot of trouble, to master this art form.
Albert Einstein was an avid violinist. So it's only appropriate that the medical school in the Bronx that bears his name should have its own amateur symphony orchestra.
The Albert Einstein Symphony Orchestra has been giving concerts at Yeshiva University's Albert Einstein College of Medicine since 1982. Not all of the 45 or so musicians are doctors. But many of them are, including the orchestra's founder and conductor, Dr. Stephen Moshman, an internist.
I once belonged to a string quartet. All of our fathers were professors. We all loved poetry and old novels. Then there is the opera: an even more rarefied love, it seems. I loved the opera since I saw Fidelio by Beethoven on RCA TV in the early 1950's. At one point, the soprano was pretending to dig a grave on stage. 'There are no rocks,' I whispered to my mother.
'That's because there are no rocks in New York City,' my mother said to tease me. I then puzzled about this a lot and went into the library and dug around for books about the geology of NYC. Was it all sand?
One of my own children, watching 'Salome' by Strauss, whispered to me, as Salome received John the Baptist's head on a silver platter, 'Mommy, I think he wants his head back.'
Back to the issue here: All cultures are made up of people doing things of various sorts. Cultures give birth, grow and die. Our own culture has been most magnificent in preserving so much of the past and with archaeologists working hard to dig up or restore thousands of years of lost cultures, all this enriches us tremendously.
Truly, we ride on the shoulders of past genius. From the cave paintings of romping horses, wild bulls and leaping deer to block buster movies today, much of the history of human artifice and creation lies at our beck and call.
Talented, dedicated young people look upon all this with wonder and joy and try their best to master as many facets of this massive mountain of culture as possible. One way to judge intelligence is the ability to focus on something and then master it. One of the more difficult enterprises is the discipline of making music using the coding and the instruments created and designed by the Northern Italians of the Renaissance.
The painting at the top of this story is from that time. The artist strove to show how sex, nature, birds in particular, written music, many instruments, scientific tools, paintings and other crafts all made for a civilized life. The explorers, business men and scientists all gathered around the table to make music.
In particular, the sea-faring republic of Venice embodied all this. The best classical instrument makers lived there and practiced their arts there.
All the city-states of Northern Italy were tremendously creative and the pinnacle of more than one artform belongs to their cultures. Like Athens and the other Greek city-states, they flourished in freedom, political dissensions, intrigues and riots. And like with Athens, whenever a conquerer beat them down and took over, the creativity ceased.
Today, as living museums, they live off of the rich culture of the past. I feel fortunate that much of this cultural wealth has been open for my own exploitation thanks to modern technology and travel. But I feel as if I were a time traveler, a person from the past, floating through modern times. The Italy that produced Verdi and Pucchini now produces soccer riots.
When most people are content to have simple music with an unmistakable and to me, a tediously obvious beat and short phrase, the appreciation of the complex musical constructs of say, the Romantic Victorians or composers from far earlier like Bach, puzzles ordinary people. Many businesses that want to drive away unwanted loiterers play classical music!
Perhaps it sounds like jumbled noise to them? I know that when I moved away from the cocoon of college life surrounded by musicians and scientists, there was hostility shown if I played classical music outside the home. What really puzzles me is why people hate long, flowing, melodic lines. And even in college, playing classical music for the sheer joy of listening annoyed most of the students who were not part of the school of music.
Early Saturday morning the line was long and raggedy, erratic and agitated, littered with empty coffee cups and the sleepless faces, which creased in the sunlight, of beautiful women on a casting call for the show’s ninth season. The line started outside the Park Central hotel at Seventh Avenue and West 55th Street, turned the corner at Broadway and then doubled back onto West 56th Street. That very few of the 1,500 women standing there looked like models, in the very narrowly defined sense of high fashion, did not appear to be of importance. A contrapposto stance and the impatient tapping of high heels suggested that in each posing applicant there existed the confidence of an inner Naomi Campbell.
“I love Naomi because she is a diva,” said Bianca Golden, 18, who towered over the competition standing at 5 feet 11 inches, plus stilettos. Ms. Golden, with her hair up, wore a black cotton coat with tiny ruffled pleats at the waist, similar to the leather one worn by Ms. Campbell on Day 3 of her court-ordered community service last week for beaning an assistant with a cellphone. “After a while of being called fierce and everything, being a diva comes with the territory,” Ms. Golden said.
All these diva wannabes are really dumpster diving dames. They want to be rich and famous as well as spoiled rotten. And they want to be trashy winners but not beautiful in the sense of the Grande Dames of the Victorian era who drapped themselves across the divans of struggling painters, listening to poems written by struggling writers and in general, being the center of attention in a rich cultural mileu.
These lasses want to be fat fashion models. They want to be on TV and compete with the army of starving, long legged, vacant eyed robots who nearly all come out of former Soviet states. These poor teenagers live lives as volpuous as hermits locked in cells. They may ingest drugs and party so long as there is no food. Starving to death, they rely on addictions to stay the course. Why on earth would anyone want to live like that?
True, top models marry rock stars. These end up in divorce nearly all the time because going from grim starvation to luxury takes its toll. Note that the model, Nicole Simpson, died of drug abuse at a young age. Yet she remains a star in the heavens of many a stout, badly dressed young lady with bad manners.
It's Christmas time and apparently what every little boy and girl would like most of all is to be famous.
Being a celebrity has topped a list of what children under 10 believe to be the "very best thing in the world" in a survey carried out for National KidsDay.
Those who believe we live in an increasingly shallow culture will not be surprised to learn that at numbers two and three in the poll of 2,500 children were "good looks" and "being rich".
Many youth in our capitalist systems believes they should be famous. They don't even bother trying to gain some sort of skill that might enable this. They just want 'it'. Girls flock to fashion model try-outs because they think it is an effortless career despite the obvious fact that it is as rarified as basketball and requires the same genetic/kinetic miracle as well as a life of misery.
The need to work all of one's life to attain a skill and then to work hard and moving up the ladder with this skill is why so many scientific-minded children take the time and effort ot master difficult classical instruments. Playing a piano is fairly easy but the difficulties of continuing require hard work. Getting a violin or cello to sound better than a cat being run over by a car takes a fair amount of determination.
And you have to play scales, an intellectual pastime that only very determined children who can picture the final result would want to engage in when other kids are goofing off in the afternoon. It's funny but back when I was playing a lot, I used to not feel 'right' unless I quickly ran through several octaves of first, all the major and then all the minor scales. It was relaxing.
Zhenyang is one of the brightest young stars at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, which has in recent years become part of China’s huge export machine churning out musical virtuosos.
With the same energy, drive and sheer population weight that has made it an economic power, China has become a considerable force in Western classical music. Conservatories are bulging. Provincial cities demand orchestras and concert halls. Pianos and violins made in China fill shipping containers leaving its ports.
The Chinese enthusiasm suggests the potential for a growing market for recorded music and live performances just as an aging fan base and declining record sales worry many professionals in Europe and the United States. Sales for a top-selling classical recording in the West number merely in the thousands instead of the tens of thousands 25 years ago.
More profoundly, classical music executives say that the art form is being increasingly marginalized in a sea of popular culture and new media. Fewer young American listeners find their way to classical music, largely because of the lack of the music education that was widespread in public schools two generations ago. As a result many orchestras and opera houses struggle to fill halls.
I was talking with my daughter about how Asia is outstripping the USA in figure skating. Even American winners, quite a few are Asian. But China is now coming out of left field and sweeping away the competition, all of their skaters are home-grown and home-trained.
For the last 10 years, I have enjoyed them because of their sense of grace and musicality. Namely, they are sensitive skaters who express an appreciation for the inspiration of classical music. This delights me no end, for years, I used to hold my ears while listening to skaters. I used to figure skate, myself, and persuading budding Olympians to listen to the 'higher' forms of music, learning to move with it, was one of my delights.
Most skaters played classical music only because their Russian coaches insisted. But they took little joy in it and when they could choose their own music, it was usually really boring pop stuff. So here we are, fading fast and along comes Asians who really do like classical music!
The study, called “The Sound of Silence—The Unprecedented Decline in Music Education in California Public Schools,” and produced by the Music for All Foundation using data from the California Department of Education, showed that 50 percent fewer students enrolled in music programs in 2003-04 than in 1999-2000.
The numbers represent a loss of a half-million students, a higher percentage than in any other subject, at a time when the total California public school student population increased 5.8 percent.
In addition, the number of music teachers declined by 1,057, or 26.7 percent.
Although the authors of the study seem hesitant to commit to reasons for such a steep decline, they name, with reservations, two potential causes: California’s budget crisis, and the emphasis created by the No Child Left Behind Act on reading and math scores, which tends to channel school resources toward those programs.
Teaching positions for graduates of university schools of music collapsed. I remember the fading of the Vienna/Berlin/Paris/Rome cultural nexus in our universities: I was majoring in Germanic Languages and minoring in Music. Gah. Talk about suicidal.
I got pregnant and quit school and started working, rebuilding houses and selling them. My advisor laughed when he learned I was making more than he. Then he was fired when they shut down his department! And across the country, as schools ceased to require multiple languages and music, the departments of universities that produced students in these fields faded quickly and died. For example, here in upstate NY, SUNY no longer has any German courses at all except for simple 'learn German is 100 years' (heh, inside joke).
$105 Million Allocation for Arts Education Makes History in California
In approving the final budget on June 30, 2006, California designated the largest known state-funded expenditure for arts education in public schools in California and nationwide. Schools will now receive an estimated $105 million in ongoing funding for arts education (estimated at $17-18 per student), in addition to a one-time allocation of $500 million for arts, music, and physical education equipment. This funding stream will go to every school district statewide, slowing an alarming trend of cuts for arts and music in public schools. Read more about this at the California Alliance for Arts Education website.
But the destruction continues. When I was in high school, we had a full sized orchestra. With everything from bassoons, harp, several basses, a full flight of cellos (run away!), even several violas! Not to mention a menacing troop of French Horns led by my younger brother.
Nearly everyone I knew from back then went on to higher intellectual careers. Their ability to focus, to concentrate on difficult or hidden things---learning to riddle out the inner meaning of a line of music using only the coarse medium of written scores is like looking behind the mirror. This means not taking things at face value but using intellectual tools to pry open emotional secrets written by someone else.
Mother Nature has lots of secrets and we must use numbers and words to eke out some of the meaning of her dense reality. I know for a fact that more than one scientist, starting with my own dad, think about science while playing music. Perhaps the two thought processes tickle each other's synapses.
I write on this blog while listening to classical music. It moves me along rapidly, sometimes it takes over and I find myself typing too fast, trying to keep up with the thoughts it inspires (this is why there are typos here, heh). For example, when I write about greed and money, I like to play Wagner's 'Das Rheingold' because it is all about gold, dwarves who hate love and giants who lust for love but fight each other and duplicitous gods willing to cheat anyone they can.
Wagner, being an overspending bankrupt, knew instinctively how money music should sound. Ditto with Mozart, another great inspiration when writing about money matters!
Beethoven is for evolution stories. And Mahler: psychology and war.
It sounds pretentious, I know, but the fact is that a composer’s duty is not to any particular listener or any particular imagined audience; a composer’s duty is to the work itself. A composer has to remember that a true work of art is rich, multifaceted, and challenging. Its aim is not popularity, its aim is truth. It doesn’t give up all its secrets at first hearing, because it’s built to last: designed not merely to charm at first hearing, but to withstand the test of fifty hearings. The bodice-ripper you buy at the checkout stand is good for (at most) one reading; James Joyce’s Ulysses is good for dozens (indeed, it may actually require dozens). There’s the difference: one is business, the other art. Beethoven, you remember, sneered at the notion that he should consider the limitations of his listeners — or even his performers. He was rude, nasty, and arrogant. But do you suppose that if he had been less arrogant, if he had aimed lower, his symphonies would have been rich enough, compelling enough still to thrill us 200 years later? I would never dare compare my music to Beethoven’s. (I said once that I belong to that great throng of composers who spend their whole lives trying to be almost as good as Massenet.) Yet, to be worth his salt, any composer has to aim as high as Beethoven.
Who is my audience, then? The practical answer is: an audience of one listener, myself. Only if I write music that makes my blood race, that makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up, do I have any hope of writing something truthful enough to have the same effect on another listener. I can only hope that this approach will put me in touch with a slightly larger audience: those who love the great tradition of Bach, Mozart, Schumann, Debussy, Bartók, and who are willing not merely to sit back passively and let music wash over them like some mood-altering drug, but to work hard enough to meet the composer half-way.
I must say, he sounds awful. Listening to sirens wail in NYC or people screaming, 'I'll kill you deader' outside my office windows wasn't inspiring or enjoyable. I used to play my classical music loudly to drown them out. I certainly didn't want it inside, with me! Gah.
I love modern Chinese composers who come from that communist country! I have heard string quartets that couple Chinese idiom with a central european ethos that created music as lovely as my beloved Smetana or Borodin.
When I was poking around in the music library at the Universität Tübingen, I found these lovely cello duets written by a music teacher in 1824. They were simple and sweet and fun as hell to play.
I watch Japanese TV and I notice, they use an awful lot of either classical music or their version based on this music art form. I actually assemble this stuff on CDs and play them for fun. I was shocked recently by a Japanese anime that used Mahler's Symphony of a Thousand, his #8, in their show. This is powerful music that is hard for modern audiences to handle, it being the most overgrown flower garden of that hot house, pre-WWI Vienna, there ever was.
Of course, a monster is smashing Tokyo and in particular, this girl's high school during the piece.
Just like when Star Wars came out with that neo-classical score. I went out and bought the records. It was fun identifying the sources of various styles and themes.
In college, years ago, I had big fights with young composers over this issue: write me music I can love! And once, when a young man did this for me, my cello professor sneered, 'How sweet. It even has a melody,' as if this were a curse, not a blessing.
From Japanese TV, NHK, showing a German TV production.
And I blame Schoenberg for all this. He wrote the incredible 'Guerre Lieder' and the haunting 'Verklärte Nacht.' Then he flipped out and hacked off all the branches of the classical tree and threw open the doors to the hot house and in roared the blizzard of the 20th century which killed all those flowers, good. Hitler stomped in and crushed all underneath his boots.
And China is the new Mitteleuropa. Rising like the Chinese emblem of eternal life: the phoenix who is reborn from the fires of death, the Chinese re-embrace the idea of cultural greatness, the fine arts and a new way of looking at the world where East meets West in a dizzy new form, how exciting they all are!
The arrests of many Gallaudet students ended with the Administration finally backing down. Hooray for the brave students! The striking teachers in Mexico are now being broken by Fox and his right wing, unelected replacement. More people killed there. I will note the media makes it sound like the teachers were violent, not the murderous undercover cops and Federal soldiers.
WASHINGTON, Oct. 29 — Surrendering to months of widening and unrelenting protests by students, faculty, alumni and advocates, the board of trustees of Gallaudet University, the nation’s premier university for the deaf, abandoned its choice of the institution’s next president.
In an announcement Sunday night that followed an all-day emergency meeting of the trustees, convened at a hotel in Virginia far from Gallaudet’s Northeast Washington campus, the board announced “with much regret and pain” that it would terminate the contract of Jane K. Fernandes, the former provost trustees named in May to succeed the outgoing president of 18 years, I. King Jordan. The board said it was acting “in the best interests of the university.”
The whole point of these demonstrations is all about the future of deaf students: will they be able to fill reasonable positions in society and within their own organizations? An education that leads nowhere is useless. The students need to aspire to something and the very minimum would be to lead their own in institutions set up for themselves!
No deaf person runs any university. So locking them out of the last place that might hire them is cruel and downright hostile. I hope this opens more doors to the deaf community.

OAXACA, Mexico - Federal forces stormed Oaxaca and pushed protesters and striking teachers out of the city center they had occupied for five months, leaving the colonial city resembling a battleground, with riot police and burned vehicles lining the streets.
At least one demonstrator was killed in clashes Sunday as federal police backed by armored vehicles and water cannons tore down barricades on their way into the city. Protesters said late Sunday that a second had been died. Authorities did not confirm that.
There was still uncertainly over whether 1.3 million schoolchildren would return to classes Monday. Teachers had agreed to end a strike that closed schools across the southern Oaxaca state, but it was unclear if the police presence would undermine that deal.
Um, the police presence does undermine the 'deal' which was obviously a 'double deal' meaning there was no sincerity within the negotiators representing the State. As per usual in countries dominated by American power, the peasants, the middle class, the workers all get hammered by the rulers who use naked power, murder, assassinations, suppression of the news, no habeas corpus, a draconian Supreme Court interested in making el Presidente stronger and of course fake elections wherein the votes are not counted...WHOA. Wait. Um, let me just say, the horrors in El Norte are simply replicated abroad?
Since we lost our Constitution and the Mexican people were never allowed to have a working Constitution, it is no wonder both are following the same banana republican path. And of course, to keep this state going, there is lots of blood shed.
MEXICO CITY, Oct. 27 (Xinhua) -- The United Nations would hold a serious debate on the planned U.S. border wall with Mexico, Thierry Lemaresquier, a top UN official in Mexico, said on Friday.
The United States plans to build a 1,126-km border wall to close off large parts of its 3,000-km border with Mexico.
Speaking at the sidelines of a meeting at the Ibero-Americana University in Mexico City, Lemaresquier said "The United Nations must hold a deep and serious debate on migration... which has become a major factor in international relations in the last 30 years, particularly in countries like Mexico," Lemaresquier said.
The disorders south of our borders are here, too. And as the Mexican people and American people merge on many levels, unfortunately for both, the level being chosen for us by our rulers is 'peasants who kiss our feet.'

WYOMING, Mich. --A school safety drill that included police officers in riot gear with weapons has caused concern among some parents who say it was too realistic and frightened some students.
Police in the western Michigan community of Wyoming entered two classrooms at Lee Middle and High School on Thursday and announced there was a threat to the school, The Grand Rapids Press reported.
Students, who were unaware police were conducting a drill, were taken from the classroom into the halls, patted down by officers and asked what they had in their pockets, the newspaper said.
"Some of these kids were so scared, they just about wet their pants," said Marge Bradshaw, a parent with four children in Godfrey-Lee Schools. "I think it's pure wrong that the students and parents were not informed of this."
Officers wore protective gear, including vests and helmets, and carried rifles that were unloaded and marked with colored tape to indicate they were not live weapons, the newspaper said.
This is how one trains children to accept police state authority. This is all very new, you know. During the Civil Rights struggle in the South, when students rioted to prevent integration, the police were normal police...oops, except for Civil Rights organizers. Then they pulled on the 'evil cops' disguises and attacked the Civil Rights people with dogs and clubs.
But now, thanks to the TACTICAL Squads, we have heavily armed/heavily armored men wearing helmets that were the inspiration for Darth Vader in the first Star Wars movies, running around America in increasing numbers. To stop us during the Vietnam war, they developed these murderous monsters in order to stomp on us at Berkeley. Thank you, Ronnie Nazi Reagan!
Anyway, you can't see their faces nor can one fight them, they are there to stop us or else kill us. And now little communities out in the middle of Bush 'red' states have idle troops of these neo-nazis who want to be 'trained' and so they go about, scaring children and in general, treating the population as if we are in Mexico!
Good grief. I hope the parents sue. I hope the students show the courage of the deaf students who stood up to these stupid Tactical units in DC, the heart of the empire.
Aside from the loony gun nut Republican running for education chief in Oklahoma, there is a common thread in American education that is troubling: learning should be fun, not hard work. Doing anything well requires a certain amount of hard work and kids striving to be in the upper classes know they must push very hard to gain a spot in the elites but the 'fun' message is destroying the chances of the underclass as they can't figure out they are being conned.

A candidate for state superintendent of education in Oklahoma has proposed a plan to protect schoolchildren from gun-related violence by putting old, thick textbooks under every school desk in the state for students to use in self-defense if a crazed gunman storms their school.
In case you're waiting for the other shoe to drop, yes, the candidate is indeed a Republican.
If you click on that page, you can see the video. The glee with which these morons shoot text books is quite Freudian. Like Nazis at a book burning party, they chuckle as they shoot up books that instruct them on the fine arts of the sciences, math or languages. The mooing of the cows in the background is most appropriate.
One reason why these right wingers don't care about the chaos in Iraq is due to the fact that they believe America's schools are in chaos thanks to young men or older men using guns to terrorize everyone especially cute little girls. So sometimes our schools do resemble Iraq and this is due to the same forces at work: crazed males screaming about abortions or free sex wanting to destroy their victims who are nearly universally female.

WASHINGTON - Scientists call it the next great discovery, a way to captivate students so much they will spend hours learning on their own. It's the new vision of video games.
The Federation of American Scientists — which typically weighs in on matters of nuclear weaponry and government secrecy — declared Tuesday that video games can redefine education.
Capping a year of study, the group called for federal research into how the addictive pizazz of video games can be converted into serious learning tools for schools.
The theory is that games teach skills that employers want: analytical thinking, team building, multitasking and problem-solving under duress. Unlike humans, the games never lose patience. And they are second nature to many kids.
So, we use games to pop learning into heads. The one major flaw in all this is the whole point of learning things is to learn the most important thing: how to think. How to reason. How to use logic. In other words, activating the forefront of the brain and disciplining it into doing things that don't happen naturally. Rational thinking is the hardest thing on earth to do and even if we fail in this, the attempt at doing this is highly important. Of course, our system hates thinkers so it doesn't surprise me to see them wishing for a systme that will effortlessly and relentlessly program pre-set designs into brains so people become robots.
The analytic training one can achieve within gaming can only be accessed if one has already won the art of analytical thinking. This is a seeming paradox. Namely, if one is forced into various paths by the nature of the game which is set up by a person acting as the 'magician' this means accepting the parameters of the game as a thinking process and thus it doesn't train the mind to think actively since one is reacting to a limited set situation. Namely, even reading books makes the brain captive but it is worse with a game since this taps into the wrong parts of the brain to activate. The wonder of writing is, it didn't 'evolve' as part of the brain but was 'trained into' the brain by dint of learning and this process lies at the roots of our ability to rationalize and think clearly. I hope everyone isn't confused by this, heh.
Learning how to use research tools and how to assemble bits of information so it forms a greater image, the ability to delineate a philosophy and then apply it to the real world is the ulimate form of 'education.' Most of what passes for education is merely skill aggregations leading to a working job making money.
Many philosphers made little or no money. Indeed, this was part of the program: the word 'math' ultimately means 'an old geezer who likes to write down numbers sitting in a hut at a crossroads, begging.' Well, namely, the mathematicians of the deep past were all religious believers in a higher order of things which was expressed by the fact that numbers do all sorts of amazing things on their own and this is a key to understanding not just the universe but has higher magical powers.
A favorite topic here.
They were not rulers but people who lived strict lives devoted to uncovering the secrets of Her Majesty, Nature and the Universe. More akin to prophets and hermits, they lived very austure lives. The famous story of the mathematician and the Indian ruler who asked the mathematician for a prize for figuring out how to tax people (heh), the philospher coyly said to lay a seed on the first square of a chess board and then each successive square, double it.
The end is near infinity, of course, and the king was rather annoyed and amused because the clever mathematician kept his head by reminding the king, he didn't want earthly goods or power, anyway.
WASHINGTON -- Kids who are turned off by math often say they don't enjoy it, they aren't good at it and they see little point in it. Who knew that could be a formula for success?
The nations with the best scores have the least happy, least confident math students, says a study by the Brookings Institution's Brown Center on Education Policy.
Countries reporting higher levels of enjoyment and confidence among math students don't do as well in the subject, the study suggests. The results for the United States hover around the middle of the pack, both in terms of enjoyment and in test scores.
In essence, happiness is overrated, says study author Tom Loveless.
Children in all the countries that best us in technology and science as well as math scores, hate the hard work. Children always hate trying to think hard. Except for a very few who relish this and demand more (er...yes). They toil very hard in many Asian and a few European countries and dislike this effort of course, but they keep on doing it because it is most important to them, collectively. On the other hand, there is little reward in America if one is studious and tries to figure out things. The Zeitgeist here is totally different. Kids want to have fun and they want as little involvement as possible in the process so their important parts of the brain can be used for better things like sex or games.
I remember as a child being annoyed to death by classmates who memorized all sorts of stupid trivia and then they would whine like crazy when asked to memorize simple multiplication tables, for example. I was ostracised for refusing to memorize pop songs and movie star information. But then, I memorized all the important stuff. This earns no status in a school or even outside a school.
For I will note here, there is a huge effort to not memorize or remember salient facts that runs in our culture. The internet helps in retaining information and correcting faulty memories, even the best of us can get confused on exact dates or sequences of events!
But the push to be dumb is very strong. Dumb but clever means one manipulates reality to gain power and glory and being a great mathematician isn't part of that. The math geniuses who cooked up a hedge fund several years ago lost everything and nearly brought down the entire world's currency systems! Kind of like the revenge of the mathematician who asked for just one seed to be doubled on each square of the chess board.
The USA is falling behind the youth of other nations. And this is due 100% to the fact that the youth in other nations work longer and harder at doing things and our lazy system that leans on the idea learning should be fun, is failing us. Learning IS fun but only for queer, wierd, awful children who scare adults and annoy everyone asking questions and bringing up facts everyone wants to ignore.
An art teacher in Texas was fired because she took her kids to an art museum and they spotted a NUDE! Oh my iffing god. It seems the rowdy Texan Taliban want to put burkas on Michaelangelo's David. This childish behavior would have been laughed at in Victorian France.
FRISCO, Texas -- An award-winning Texas art teacher who was reprimanded after one of her fifth-grade students saw a nude sculpture during a trip to a museum has lost her job.
The school board in Frisco has voted not to renew Sydney McGee's contract after 28 years. She has been on administrative leave.
The teacher took her students on an approved field trip to a Dallas museum, and now some parents are upset.
You see, the statues of Jesus being tortured on a cross are A-OK because it is porno-pain and thus not too sexy (HAHAHA) and he has a tiny scrap of cloth draped artfully over his manhood. Of course, America is the land of googley-eyed sex. Children who are not at all innocent thanks to our massive media complexes, are supposed to faint with fear when they see a women's titty on TV during Super Bowlathons.
This is the ultimate childishness. Children are, universally, totally at ease with being nude until parents and others shame them into covering up. All three year olds are more than happy to pull up their clothes and show total strangers everything.
In many cultures, children run around stark naked in public. In the hippie world they did, too. And not one of them goes blind from seeing naked people, too.
Twisted sex grows out of covering up. This is why strip teasers are sexier than naked dancers. This fear of the nude vacillates, too. In Victorian France, when a lady didn't show her ankles in public, regular businesses all used total nudes like the one above, coupled often with obvious kinky sexual references, to sell bicycles and cakes, wine and shoes! No one thought anything about this!
More: all art students not only draw naked people, they draw from living naked people! And the height of civilization is the appreciation of the nude! The entire Vatican is covered in nudes of all poses, all sorts, all sexes! All of ancient Mediterranean art is all about nudes. Even the earliest painters and sculptors made nudes going back about 35,000 years.
The religious impulse to use nudes is very strong. And the ability to create 'the noble nude' a la ancient Greece is considered universally to be the pinnacle of human creativity only surpassed by the post-medieval artists in Italy from 1500 to 1700. Indeed, in those days, common inns and small country churches decorated themselves with gigantic male nudes as well as very nubile, fleshy females a la Rubens.
Speaking of which, are these stupid Texans going to censore Rubens? Hell, the fattest state in the nation is Texas! Come to think of it, maybe they all should wear burkas. Especially the pregnant males. Gah. Who wants to see THEM?
The Japanese coddle their tots more and more as there are fewer and fewer of them. This isn't good for their inner growth. Meanwhile, rich people in America are beginning to panic and are seeking Chinese au pairs to teach their budding ruling class kiddies Chinese so they can talk to the future rulers of the earth.

EBINA, Japan - Fantasy Kids Resort has all the basic amenities of a park for young children, with a few extras: uniformed monitors, security cameras and antibacterial sand. Visitors spray their stroller wheels with antiseptic soap.
The new indoor park near Tokyo - one of at least a dozen like it in Japan - might seem an overly protective environment for children in one of the world's safest societies.
But for many Japanese parents, such parks are a logical response to a string of dramatic crimes against children that has fixated the nation.
I didn't see all that much of my parents when growing up. I used to roam about the grounds of Yerkes Observatory which was as big as Central Park or Kitt Peak which was an entire mountain or all over the desert or the USA or even the world, going over to Europe on my own when barely 17, to live, for example.
I am eternally grateful they left me to my own devices. Bad things happened. I was even raped! Hit by lightning! Injured in desert battles, hospitalized, even. I had to swim raging rivers or violent ocean turf, I killed rattlesnakes using only stones and a forked stick, I pickes up tarantulas and tracked mountain lions. I pretty much lived a very dangerous life. Oh my.
And guess what? Life is full of dangers! I was driving my son to a friend's house today. We got onto the highway and immediately were stopped by a major traffic accident, a small car was sideswiped by a huge semi. Urk. I was driving a one ton truck so I didn't care except we were moving very slowly. Then we got off the highway and I thought it was OK but then we were stopped again by a huge accident featuring dead bodies all over the place for on a juncture of two roads, an SUV plowed into a big truck and was totally destroyed, flattened! In a 30 mph zone, no less!
Not a drop of rain was falling. These accidents were 100% human error related. So, one never knows when one will die. Live life, abundantly and fully! Fearful children are not a good thing, look at how the bubble boys and girls running America are behaving! Chickens, all, hiding in their gold plated coops, servants abounding.

In a conference room at a Holiday Inn last week in Connecticut, 167 young women from 22 countries received a tutorial in catering to the needs of the affluent American child. (Lesson 1: Turn off the television set.)
Many of the women were German. But two drew particular attention, Kunyi Li, 23, and Man Zhang, 24, among the first au pairs from China.
Their services are in great demand, in part because so many Americans have adopted baby girls from China. Driving the need more aggressively is the desire among ambitious parents to ensure their children’s worldliness, as such parents assume that China’s expanding influence will make Mandarin the sophisticates’ language decades hence.
This is very smart. My own kids are learning Japanese and Chinese und ich spreche deutsch. It is most interesting the rulers know already we must form alliances or understand those who will replace us and we hope to nuzzle up to them and have them understand the earth is a treasure chest to be divided between the haves and havenots. The havenots get run over, of course, or sent to die in wars the ruling elites opt out of, busy making money, being pampered and fussed over. After all, the Emperor of Japan didn't go into the jungles and fight! He stayed in his palace which we didn't bomb and let his people perish in increasing agony! Without blinking an eye! Who cares!
Our ruling class kiddies won't care, either, I fear. They are all little empresses and emperors.
