"British American Project received funds from the CIA to help what it saw as anti-Americanism within Europe. When you look at some of the people who were involved in the project on the list, it helps explain why they have appeared more like Tories than the Tories themselves. Also, what was Mandelson really up to when he was a member of socialist organizations in his youth?"...

You might enjoy this website, Elaine. Please watch the introduction, he speaks of the same inner world and it's rich, deep realites.

People need to come together to plan for after the collapse, which is now inevitable. Can I ask you to do a post about historical reconstructions?

Thanks,

hahaha, it's going to take until 2010 to figure out the country is in shambles (Spiegel):

For seven years, US President George W. Bush refused to allow the IMF to conduct its assessment. Even now, he has only given the IMF board his consent under one important condition. The review can begin in Bush's last year in office, but it may not be completed until he has left the White House. This is bad news for the Fed chairman.

When the final report on the risks of the US financial system is released in 2010 -- and it is likely to cause a stir internationally -- only one of the people in positions of responsiblity today will still be in office: Ben Bernanke.

The Players - workers, government and bankers.
The goal of game - To achieve power and wealth.
The modern form of the game begins with workers fearing chaos create governments to protect them. Governments go into partnership with bankers to finance pompous delusions.
Bankers like chamelians disguise themselves with abstract science of economics and superficial nationalism, while focusing with super-human intensity on compound interest and the end game of control through the power of debt.
Observers of the game realizing that there is also the wild card player known as the military cult of death and destruction await the final interacting multi-level moves of the game on the edge of their shaky seats.

A great book to read is Bruce Chatwin's
"Songlines". Its about Australian Aborigines.
They have a concept called "Dreamtime". Everything that humans do was first "dreamed"
about before it became "reality". They felt that all our locomotives, mines, and automobiles were in our "dreamworld" first
and one day (night) we wouldn't be able to
dream them anymore and they would vanish.

"Songlines" refers to how aborigines made
their way across the flat seemingly featureless desert of Australia. They would
make up and memorize songs as they crossed the landscape. To go back where they came from they would sing the "song" backwards.
Or forwards again if they wanted to repeat the voyage.

Elaine Meinel Supkis

You are correct, Gary. I lived on an Indian reservation at Kitt Peak as a child and all my playmates were native Indian children. They have this thing about about being hit by lightning, too. Either one becomes a Medicine man or woman or a demon.

Since wild animals got along with me, they decided I was a semi-demon since all foreigners were by definition, demons.

Another day of betting on the ponies at the racetrack, Oops, I meant on Wall Street and the "workers' losing their shirts/retirement via 401K's and pensions. What's the purpose of the economic gaming theory other than creating illusions of legitmacy and respectability of these hellhounds who run the tables and steal the workers labor?

Speaking of hellhounds the Fed released
March 14/16 documents today providing BS into its private deliberations.
http://www.federalreserve.gov/newsevents/press/other/20080627a.htm

Given the financial markets' fragile condition at that time, the Fed said it felt compelled to intervene because an "immediate failure" of Bear Stearns would bring about an "expected contagion."

A Thomas Paine quote that hits the nail on the head of the Fed's refusal to accept the jig is up as the banks are finished and the fat lady has sung the finale on Wall Street's last dead cat bounce.

"To argue with a person who has renounced the use of reason is like administering medicine to the dead." T. Paine

Gary, I read that book years ago and it was both uplifting and sad. You did not mention that the Aborigines had decided to stop reproducing because they did not believe the new world was supportive of life.

Elaine, are you having a hate on Shakespeare moment? The witch warned 'fair is foul and foul is fair.' However I got your meaning from up is down and down is up. Additionally, you had mentioned yesterday that the PPT told hedgepigges to lay off the soft commodities. I think you are wrong. The piggies have been attacking potash and nitrogen companies visciously, putting them into the dot bomb multiples land. Of course they are correct that potash is different from a website, since corn will not grow without potash, while a website does nothing for hunger. Additionally, they are attacking natural gas in packs -no ng, no nitrogen. Finally, petroleum is the commodity of all commodities, the basis of our agriculture revolution. If cftc wanted to stop the attack, it would eliminate margin from all commodity bids. I know that it is unthinkable amongst the b-schoolers, however Agriculture could declare force majeure on fertilizer and Energy could do it with petroleum and ng. I would say this is also completely unthinkable, however these shares have now become a repository for the bearded rat and BOJ's liquidity cesspools. This is not like the seventies when inflation was also buoying property values and assests uniformly. Grandma can buy a loaf of bread and a gallon of milk with a GM share, but not two.

Elaine Meinel Supkis

Correct, Calvino.

They are betting on necessities. The things that keep us all alive. And they are betting that the war talk by the Real Rulers will keep oil prices piping hot.

This is why I talk about Jerusalem all the time. The Angel of Death was stopped by King David right there which is why it is the very heart of all three madcap religions disputing over ownership of this Threshing Floor from Hell itself.

Elaine thanks again for another good article.

You write: "If you debase the currency and run in the red to pay for wars that fail or bring less loot than the cost of going to war, this causes the workers to notice they are being looted in various ways and makes them very, very irritable and might trigger an uprising. So there has to be some method to prevent this. The Romans came up with the 'Bread and Circuses' system which ended with 'Barbarians burning Rome and the Dark Ages.' Not a good plan."

Well the method and plan they have devised is called the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, the SPP.

When a systemic risk event breaks loose like Treasury repo fails, or a municipal bond bust caused by MBIA's failure, or a commercial lending gridlock where businesses cant get working capital, then the 'emergency management' provisions of the SPP will be enforced and state corporate rule begin over the natural resources, the corporations, the factors of production, and the people of the continent

And you write, "Workers NEED currency stability. They NEED traditional banking. They NEED the golden goddess of Libra guarding the Cave of Wealth and Death".

Well that is true, but the USD/JPY is going down; and traditional banking is not going to happen as my bank just posted all kinds of new fees; and gold, well, I sure do recommend that the investor dollar cost average a purchase of gold at both BullionVault.com and GoldIsMoney.com

I cover the fall of USD/JPY as a section in my blog as the link indicates.

One of your best Elaine. I have very vivid dreams. Remember reading as a teen that dreaming in color was a symptom of mental illness. I wasn't hit by lightning, but I was electrocuted by a weed trimmer as a small child. Maybe that's why I don't remember ALL my dreams...not enough voltage. :) What stuck with me through this morning was a bit where I was sitting at a dinner table with Jack Nicholson. He was at my right and sitting at the end of the table. We held hands to say the blessing and he felt my skin and let go of my hand. After the prayer I told him it wasn't contagious. I have dry thin skin that blisters and cracks...doctor said I should be a "kept" woman and do no housework...HA! Next Jack pulls out a tube of very messy lip balm and rubs it on my afflicted fingers. Wanna interpret?

Not too long ago I dreamt that something was being rubbed onto my head and into my scalp. This was just after my beloved grandmother passed. It wasn't until I awoke that it registered as an anointment.

Elaine Meinel Supkis

Oh, dreams are so very fascinating! We do dream of celebrities which is why the media loves to focus on them: the collective ID.

We all love the idea of being 'kept'. But then we realize upon waking, this is the ID at work. The ID is a baby, you know. The adult is in the forebrain.

By the way, the sex parts are funny. Fingers are definitely connected to sex. Heh. The ID loves sex dreams. Frankly, I find them immense fun, actually. It is the best part of the Dream world.

A creepy dream is like the time I dreamed of being a hippie again in San Francisco. I was so happy! Young and beautiful again, I was listening to the music as I left the Crystal Palace and headed to the Panhandle. As I happily strolled along Haight Street, I met a number of people. Suddenly, I became concerned. They were all people who have died since 1968.

One, a dear beloved girlfriend came to me with a very concerned face. 'You shouldn't be here,' she said. 'You have to leave, now.' I cried and said I wanted to hold her in my arms. But I had to go.

Then, as I left, I realized this was a form of 'Heaven'. It was Death.

Elaine Meinel Supkis

One other detail: I was carrying a broom with me and sweeping up as I walked because I was concerned about the dirt there. I was well known for going into communes back then and sweeping them clean. People would yell at me. Called me a 'Clean Freak'. Heh.

Bizarre time, the late sixties.

K

Wow, that is creepy. My dead dreams are usually just dreams where I visit dead family members.

And the thing about needing to be a kept woman? Should have been clearer...a doctor actually told me that...it's a chronic problem I've had since my teens. Sounds lots sexier if you imagine Jack said it though. :)

Speaking of sex, my sexiest dreams don't get past 1st base...just kissing...but they are "touch" dreams (which the annointment was too...feeling rather than seeing)as opposed to dreams where it is just sound and light.

Elaine Meinel Supkis

Hate to say this but, you are probably repressing the more raw images. Remember: you remember only what you want to remember.

I just sent this post to a bunch of my friends as I agree with most of what you’re saying here and the way you’ve presented it is awesome.
