11/5/6---Oh lucky us! This is another 'magic number' day. 6+5=11 if you do it widdershins. It isn't a 'pure' magic number day like 9/11/91 for example. But it does contain some very potent powers and the need to use this day to sentence Saddam to death is right up the alley of Mr. Executioner is Death himself, Bush. This is what the Skull and Bones is all about: death. And Bush is all about executing criminals.
Tom EngelhardtThe US-backed special tribunal in Baghdad signalled Monday that it will likely delay a verdict in the first trial of Saddam Hussein to November 5. Why hasn't the mainstream media connected the dots between the Saddam's judgment day and the midterm elections?
Here's how the story was reported pretty much everywhere: "An Iraqi court trying Saddam Hussein for the killing of Shi'ite villagers in the 1980s could deliver a verdict on November 5, officials said, a ruling which could send the ousted leader to the gallows…"
A possible death-sentence for Saddam and his top lieutenants on November 5? Now, shouldn't that raise a few eyebrows somewhere? If you happen to have a calendar close at hand, pull it over and take a quick look. That verdict would then come, curiously enough, just two days before the midterm elections. It's the sort of thing that--you would think--that any reporter with knowledge of the US election cycle (no less of how Karl Rove has worked these last years) would at least note in an article. But no, you can search high and low without finding a reference to this in the mainstream media.
Now, deep inside this continuing saga of magical number days being maliciously chosen for key events, like a lot of religous things which are all being pulled together for the Great Event Itself: the End of Times.
This day is a Powerful Magic Day for the Anglo/American Empire.
The Gunpowder Plot of Nov. 5, 1605 was a failed attempt by a group of provincial English Catholics to kill King James I of England, his family, and most of the Protestant aristocracy in a single attack by blowing up the Houses of Parliament during the State Opening. The conspirators had then planned to abduct the royal children, not present in Parliament, and incite a revolt in the Midlands. The Gunpowder Plot was one of a series of unsuccessful assassination attempts against James I, and followed the Main Plot and Bye Plot of 1603. Many believe the Gunpowder Plot to have been part of the Counter-Reformation.
The aims of the conspirators are frequently compared to modern terrorists; however, their actions were not designed to merely influence government policy by evoking terror: their real aims were nothing short of a total revolution in the government of England and the installation of a Catholic monarch. This is more consistent with terms like revolution, treason, coup d'etat, or rebellion, so the retrospective application of "terrorist" is likely a political dysphemism. At the time, the word "terrorist" was not in common use; the plot would have been regarded as a treasonous act of regicide. Far from helping their fellow Catholics avoid religious persecution, the plotters put many loyal Catholics in a difficult position. Before this period Catholicism had been associated with Spain and the Inquisition but after the plot it also became thought of as treasonous to be Catholic.
Ah, so why am I an American? It had a lot to do with killing the King of England and then having to flee to the wild wilderness under Dutch control. Anyway, this is a most important day for executioners and kings! The fool with the sword and the crown day! The Hangman who is Death's day! All over merrie England, people used to burn Guy Fawkes in effigy.
Religious war. Regicide. Blowing things up. 11/5/5. A nice, harmonic number but then if you add them together it is 5+5=10, not 11. So this year, they make the number a perfect fit!
In 1686, a group of conspirators met at Charborough House in Dorset to plan the overthrow of "the tyrant race of Stuarts". In 1688, a further conspiracy was launched at Old Whittington, Derbyshire (see the Immortal Seven), to depose James and replace him with his daughter Mary and her husband, William of Orange — both Protestants and both grandchildren of Charles I of England. Before the birth of James's son, Mary was the heir to the throne and William was third in line. William was also stadtholder of the Netherlands, then in the early stages of the War of the Grand Alliance against France. Jumping at the chance to ally with England, William and Mary laid careful plans over a number of months for an invasion. Landing with a large army at Brixham, Devon on November 5, 1688, William was greeted with much popular support, and local men joined his army. William's army totalled approximately 15,000—12,000 on foot and 3,000 cavalry. It was comprised mainly by mercenaries recruited from various countries abroad; Dutch, German, Swiss and Scandinavian along with a substantial Huguenot element in the cavalry and Guards as well as 200 blacks from plantations in America.[2] Many of the mercenaries were Catholic.
Two key events in English history. The Bush clan, like my own, has been here for a very long time and came for similar reasons. The chaos in England due to the stresses of the Catholic/Protestant wars had a huge impact on families such as ours since we lost pretty much everything in the turmoil.
So here it is: a particular day was chosen for the Skull and Bones' strange rituals. Not too many bloggers have commented on the Saddam trial, I have tracked it here rather a lot because I considered it from day one to be a kangaroo court that only makes things worse.
I believe there will be some sort of gross action on this day. There isn't love of Saddam but rather to spite the Americans who are the people running this circus. The Americans are the ones dictating who will be the judge and when things happen and the choice of this day comes straight out of the Oval Office.
It has all the fingerprints. Bush has been assured that his magic power as an executioner will translate into power over people if he kills. And since our recumbent Congress has just handed this clown a king's powers to kill, he will do exactly that: kill people. And killing special people, namely, fellow executioners who are death, this magnifies the satanic ritual powers of Mr. Bush and he can then tap into this great power to gain the entire world.
And there we have it: it is no mystery what will happen next. Just follow the magic number days.
Baghdad Burning is back. Did you see?

I believe they still burn the Guy on the Fifth, add to the william and mary, William made his claim, in Newton Abbot. The decendents of the Fawkes family, also commemorate his acts.

Well, Daliwood, guess we now know who is responsible for everything! YOU!!!
Heh. How do you like your god-like dark powers?
Yes, the Brits still celebrate this holiday, it is sort of their 4th of July. They don't have parties celebrating the Norman invasion, though. So my birthday passes without any bonfires.

Eternal truths will be neither true nor eternal unless they have fresh meaning for every new social situation.

My father had always said that there are four things a child needs plenty of love, nourishing food, fegular sleep , and lots of soap and water——and after those, what he needs most is some intelligent neglect.

The most interesting information comes from children, for they tell all they know and then stop.
