US International Power Continues To Collapse Rapidly

Every day is Groundhog Day in the US military/industrial sphere. We make the same monotonous mistakes over and over again. Unlike in the movie where the main character slowly works his way out of the loop by being nicer, the US is working its way out of this moronic loop by being nastier. So it doesn't get out of the loop, of course. Now, the US has entered a much more dangerous loop: trying to out-militarize China and Russia by arming their neighbors and feeding insurrections in both of these nuclear-armed empires. And we also are bombing Pakistan which also has nuclear bombs, driving Pakistan into China and Russia's orbit.

US urged to bolster missile, space defenses against China: paper

A draft report recommends that the United States build new missile, sea-based and space-based defenses to deal with China's growing nuclear and conventional forces, a newspaper said Tuesday.

The draft by a State Department advisory board said China aims to build forces that are not just capable of retaking Taiwan but also of projecting power beyond east Asia, The Washington Times reported.

China's "major objective is to counter US presence and US military capabilities in East Asia through the acquisition of offensive capacities in critical functional areas that systematically exploit US vulnerabilities," it quoted the report as saying.

China is developing capabilities for "asymmetric warfare," such as space and computer weapons, that could help it defeat stronger US armed forces, according to a copy of the draft the daily said it had obtained.

Well, China may be capable of doing 'asymmetric warfare' but not by gumming up our computers or dropping bombs on us! It is obvious to anyone commenting on financial matters that China's chief nuclear bomb is financial. Namely, they withhold credit from us or strengthen the yen of Japan and thus, prevent the Japanese carry trade and we go 'boom.' The US is busy taking on epic amounts of debt right now and we plan to get the credit for all this by selling Treasury bonds. These have been selling like hot cakes because of frantic bankers using it as a bomb shelter.

This is not a good thing because the bankers doing this are bankrupt. They are pulling this scam whereby they 'sell' really trashy CDO, CDX and other garbage to the US Federal Reserve which then translates the paper value of these worthless things into Treasuries. So it looks like the US government has infinite credit at virtually 0% interest thanks to this obvious circular scam.

But the whole world knows that banks need real savings and real capitalist profits to survive. And this is what the US system lacks which is why it is collapsing. Generally speaking, when a military empire is collapsing due to lack of looting profits coupled with a failure to fund wild spending at the capital, they usually lash out and attack neighbors in a last-ditch effort at looting and enslavement.

When Nazi Germany and Warlord Japan did this as their solution to the Great Depression, this caused WWII. This was a very massive and very destructive war that raged in Europe, Africa Asia and the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. The US still pretends to be backing the 'free trade' flat world system so beloved by the New York Times and the Washington Post but in reality, we are in a 'free fall' flat world system where the US is being tempted with the notion that we can flatten everything in our path via our ability to murder civilians.

The Taliban are decimating, literally, UK troops:

It was not supposed to be that way. Unlike 16 Air Assault Brigade’s first tour in Helmand two years ago, when the then defence secretary John Reid declared that he hoped not a single shot would be fired, they were well prepared this time.

They had almost twice as many men — 7,800 troops and four combat battalions, consisting of the 2nd and 3rd Battalions the Parachute Regiment and two battalions of the Royal Regiment of Scotland. Their commander, Brigadier Mark Carleton-Smith, declared them “the best equipped force the British Army has ever sent”.

But the Taliban have also changed tactics, increasingly using improvised explosive devices (IEDs), hiring foreign fighters from Chechnya and Uzbekistan as well as from Pakistan, and even managing to lure defectors from the Afghan national army who had been trained by British and American forces by offering to double their £90-a-month combat pay.

10% of the British combat brigade in Helmland has been killed so far. This is better than their first invasion of this region that had a 99% death rate. But then, back in the 19th century, the technology gap between the tribes and the British imperialists was much, much smaller.

The Taliban are civilians, by the way. They are not a military force backed by a state. They are great warriors but still, civilians. Our bombs are being dropped on civilian populations in Afghanistan, Iraq and now, Pakistan. It is growing worse, not better because the wars we are waging are expanding. And virtually none of this is enriching us.

True, the US has ceased threatening Iran every day. Coupled with Iraq re-entering world oil markets means the price of oil is finally dropping, temporarily. So long as Saudi Arabia sees fit to pump it cheaper and cheaper in order to protect their investments in the G12 economies.

China denounces proposed US arms sales to Taiwan: state media

AFP) - China on Saturday denounced proposed US arms sales to Taiwan worth 6.5 billion dollars, according to state media, warning "there is only one China in the world, and that Taiwan is a part of China." Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao said the government and people firmly opposed the move, which would seriously damage China's interests and Sino-US relations.

Vice Foreign Minister He Yafei has summoned the charge d'affaires of the US Embassy to protest the US move, according to a spokesman, the state Xinhua news agency said.

The Pentagon notified Congress Friday of 6.5 billion dollars in possible arms sales to Taiwan that would include advanced interceptor missiles, Apache attack helicopters and submarine-launched missiles.

The Defence Security and Cooperation Agency said the proposed sales were aimed at improving Taiwan's defences and would not alter the basic military balance in the region.

The latest moves to irritate China are designed to cut down on Chinese trade with the G7 nations. Ringing China with threatening weapons forces China to be more aggressive. Then we plan to point to this as proof that China is a threat. This same stupid plot is being foisted on Russia. The US is ringing Russia was hostile missiles aimed at Moscow. This forces Russia to retaliate and rearm. Why we want this is sheer insanity. I suspect that the military/industrial people really do imagine we can win a nuclear war now, not later. So they want to push this agenda forwards now.

There is lots of delusional propaganda running around the planet. In the West, we have our own pet delusions. One, that has been peddled a lot this last few months, is the pretense that Russia, not the US, started the war that flared up in Georgia. Now, we see terrorist bombings of the Russians in Ossetia and the US is totally silent about this. Instead of the ritual denunciations of terrorism, our government, as per usual, actually endorses and even pays for terrorists to act. Just as the US encouraged the 9/11 attackers to succeed in order to launch the New World Order's Stalinist actions.

The US has few value-added manufacturing export items. One of the major things we sell are Boeing jets and military hardware, especially jets. These sales of military stuff have picked up recently as various countries running trade surpluses with the US [Israel has a big trade surplus, for example] buy our weapons. We are not selling this to Russia or China. So our trade deficits with them are growing worse even as we see world trade collapse, overall.

This financial need to hyper-arm the planet will create more wars but we don't care. We are the world's top warmongering society and we bristle with desire to bomb, bomb, bomb anyone and everyone. In the present Presidential race to the bottom, anyone who dares to even suggest we use elementary diplomacy is hammered by our AIPAC media. So all candidates left standing are the ones who endorse warmongering. And Wall Street bail outs.

Russia to upgrade nuclear systems

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has announced plans to build a "guaranteed nuclear deterrent system", to be in place by 2020.
He said he wanted military chiefs to submit plans by December.

He called for a programme to build new nuclear submarines as well as "a system of aerospace defence".

"We plan to start serial production of warships, primarily nuclear-powered submarines carrying cruise missiles and multifunctional submarines," Mr Medvedev said.

"We will develop an aerospace defence system, as well," he added.

Since the US is bent on reducing trade with China by NOT trading with China in the future, this will cause WWIII. Japan, of course, will vanish during the first hour of WWIII. Just as Germany will, too. Not one person in either country will survive except a few in the mountain fringes. If that. This would suggest Europe and Japan would be very reluctant to fund the US death wish machine. But no, both want to dominate China or Russia via the US military. It is still a useful and nearly free club they can swing wildly and then retreat into diplomacy while the US takes all the flack. But not if both endorse parking hostile missiles right on top of Russia and China's borders.

IAEA nations urge non-nuclear Mideast in bitter vote

(Reuters) - The U.N. nuclear assembly on Saturday passed a resolution urging all Middle East nations to renounce atom bombs in a vote most Arabs boycotted over amendments they felt took pressure off Israel. The vote was 82-0 with 13 abstentions but disenchantment reigned after days of wrangling between Israel and Western nations on one hand and Arab and Islamic states on the other that polarised a body that normally operates on consensus.

But almost all Arab League states stalked out of the Vienna assembly hall before the vote over Israeli-sponsored amendments pushed through by Western states in paragraph-by-paragraph votes earlier, changes the Arabs felt weakened the measure.

"How could we approve a call on us all to obey our international obligations when Israel itself refuses to adhere to any non-proliferation standards. This undermines the IAEA's credibility," one Arab diplomat told Reuters.

A senior Western diplomat countered: "The call for compliance with obligations was a (key) change from versions of this resolution in previous years in that it is a clear signal to Iran and Syria."

Near the end of the meeting later in the day, a second Middle East resolution revived by Arabs to brand "Israel's nuclear capabilities" a threat was kept from a floor vote by a Western-backed "no-action" motion carried by a 46-43 margin.

"It has been a circus, the worst conference in the history of the IAEA. I've never seen such animosity. But it reflects the unilateral character of the age we are living in, plus the lack of a true peace process," said a European diplomat.

Approving the resolution were virtually all Western states, a handful of Asian, Latin American and African countries plus Iran and Egypt from the Islamic world. Abstainers included Israel, chief ally the United States, and Syria, a foe of both.

This is such curious news! Iran, I suspect, wants to have this passed because it is the camel's nose under the Israeli nuclear tent. But the other nations in the Middle East want Israel disarmed. The US and Europe need the oil in these nations that are so outraged but feel that these kings and princes will back things secretly because of economic connections. This is why bin Laden's little revolutionary band is so successful. So long as all the wealth and profits in the West flow to Islamic nations, there will be no revolutions except in the non-oil exporting countries like Pakistan or Afghanistan but the minute oil drops, this revolutionary stuff rises! So I am predicting that if there is a depression in oil profits, internal violence will cascade over all the Middle Eastern theocracies.

And the collapse of US ability to hand out money like lollipops to people like the vile Egyptian dictators will also lead to more revolutions. AIPAC runs nearly totally, our entire diplomatic systems. So the US and Europe dutifully will be total hypocrites and will continue to torture the entire concept of 'disarmament' which seems strictly to be, 'Everyone disarms except for the US empire and its minions'. This, in turn, is backfiring hugely. But our plan is to have enough people disarmed so we only have to nuke Russia and China. This is a very stupid concept, a dumb dream and a total nightmare.

Troops Deployed Abroad Give 6:1 to Obama

According to an analysis of campaign contributions by the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics, Democrat Barack Obama has received nearly six times as much money from troops deployed overseas at the time of their contributions than has Republican John McCain, and the fiercely anti-war Ron Paul, though he suspended his campaign for the Republican nomination months ago, has received more than four times McCain's haul.

Despite McCain's status as a decorated veteran and a historically Republican bent among the military, members of the armed services overall -- whether stationed overseas or at home -- are also favoring Obama with their campaign contributions in 2008, by a $55,000 margin. Although 59 percent of federal contributions by military personnel has gone to Republicans this cycle, of money from the military to the presumed presidential nominees, 57 percent has gone to Obama.

They want to go home. They figure, Obama must toe the AIPAC line but they also hope that he will listen to them. I think that this is an illusion, alas. There is no hope for the professional soldiers who are the slaves of the State. My little village is named 'Berlin' due to so many descendants of the Hessian mercenary soldiers who were abandoned here by the Crown when King George III lost the Colonies. I wonder if our own soldiers will establish little New York Cities or Houstons in Afghanistan and Iraq?

Heh. Yup. But only after they convert to Islam, I suppose. These poor people are trapped and will cycle through death traps until they all die. If 10% die a decade but the survivors can't leave, this really is a losing proposition for anyone thinking they can get rich this way. The divorce and bankruptcy rate for these poor people is astonishing. Some barely know their own children.

But the hope of the government is, the fiscal meltdown will supply it with many more recruits willing to destroy themselves in the hopes of getting some tiny piece of a shrinking economic pie in the sky! By the way, Ron Paul outdid both candidates in donations when he was still running.

There are many theories about cycles. Why does the economy or wars or other things go in cycles? Much of the excuse for various government and banking systems is to prevent cycles but this always fails like clockwork. Indeed, the need for relentless cycles seems to get worse, not better, over time! The Federal Reserve likes to play with the rate of money making and inflation by moving interest rates up and down like someone fiddling with the thermostat constantly. Only they tend to go to extremes. But what drives all this? Why do these things happen? And what cycle are we on right now?

The US attempt at encircling both Russia and China is also failing since both Russia and China have real sovereign wealth to spread around. And are quickly building many alliances across the planet.

Russia and Venezuela in oil pact against US

RUSSIA and Venezuela have signed an energy pact to bolster co-operation in their respective oil and gas industries, bolstering energy ties between two countries trying to decrease US world influence.

Hugo Chavez, the Venezuelan president, and Dmitry Medvedev, the Russian president, yesterday watched as their energy ministers sealed the deal in Orenburg, near Kazakhstan's border, and home to Russian oil industry facilities.

The chief executive of Russia's state gas monopoly, OAO Gazprom, and the president of state energy company Petroleos de Venezuela SA (PDVSA) signed a memorandum of understanding calling for establishment of a consortium to oversee broader co-operation in oil and gas between the energy-rich nations.

NASA's Star Is Fading, Its Chief Says

NASA Administrator Michael Griffin has clashed repeatedly with the White House in recent months -- a rift that escalated when budget officials heavily edited a statement he was submitting to Congress about China's space ambitions and spilled into the open last week in a leaked e-mail that accused the budget office of doing "everything possible" to walk away from the $100 billion international space station.

Griffin was a total fool. When I mocked him here at Culture of Life News, a number of space enthusiasts who knew me from my L-5 Society days were angry with me. HAHAHA. But just like I predicted the collapse of the L-5 initiatives due to members supporting the Reagan Star Wars program, I was also right about Bush not being serious about anything to do with space exploration except to use it for military purposes.

The military side of our space program has totally swamped the civilian side. When I was a child, the military ran the space program which is why I got to stay briefly in a secret military installation back in the 1950's. Russia's successful 'man in space' launches finally forced our government to create a civilian space program which is now being starved relentlessly to death. Kiss it goodbye, Griffin. I warned you about this.

Note that the sole interest in the dying old space jalopy program is due to grim expectations of fabulous failures, not dreams about going into space! We could fund a huge civilian space program if we wanted. But instead, we are funding useless bank bail outs, useless wars with angry civilians who hate our guts and preparations for that hideous disaster we call WWIII, aka, the Apocalypse. Why we are doing this is a mystery....for future writers about the decline and fall of the US great power.

Huge Attack In Islamabad

Al Qaeda always does their big hits on big days. So when the news of the latest major bombing of Western interests hit the internet, I immediately looked up interesting anniversaries for this day and there certainly is one: Saladin's seige of Jerusalem began on this day. The radicals who are dragging the US into increasing wars are extremely aware of these connections. Jerusalem is like the center of a wheel that is the wheels of the machine of the Apocalypse.

A hotel filled with foreigners in Pakistan is totally destroyed in a very violent explosion:

A huge truck bomb exploded at the entrance to the Marriott Hotel in Islamabad on Saturday evening, killing at least 40 people and wounding more than 150, the police said.

The blast, one of the worst acts of terrorism in Pakistan’s history, went off just a few hundred yards from the prime minister’s house, where all the leaders of government were dining after the president’s address to Parliament.

The toll was expected to grow because of reports that people had been trapped inside the six-story hotel, which has been a favorite meeting spot of both foreigners and well-connected Pakistanis in the heart of the capital. The building was quickly engulfed in flames and continued to burn for hours Saturday night.

Coming after a bombing in Kabul, Afghanistan, earlier this year at the Serena Hotel, another gathering spot for foreigners, the Marriott attack appeared to send a message not just to Pakistan but to Washington and other Pakistani allies.

We can see from the pictures, this was no minor attack. The US has moved the Pakistan embassy to a remote location surrounded by military with many walls and fences. No longer do any Pakistanis bother with attacking it directly. Instead, they watch and wait. The US has declared unilateral war on Pakistan this year. We sent the rather foolish tool, General Petraeus to Afghanistan to do the same 'magic' he did in Iraq.

The stupid surge didn't work because it was good. The ethnic cleansing hosted by the Shiite government has finally finished there. Now, only one American a day dies. This is sort of a nasty reminder by the Shi'ites to remind us who is boss. The situation in Iraq is evolving, as expected, towards a Shi'ite confederation which will enfold the Shi'a in Lebanon, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Palestine. This is exactly what the Saudi Royals, the fat little pigeons of Kuwait and the ancient Christians of Lebanon feared the most. And the Israeli Jewish invaders are utterly terrified of this.

So all parties want us permanently in Iraq. This is, obviously, totally impossible. I don't see the freeloaders in Tel Aviv paying for this. The Saudi royals don't want to be bothered with paying for this. Everyone wants this on our dime. Since we seem determined to take on infinite debt, why should anyone bother with supporting us financially?

And al Qaeda knows this.

Siege of Jerusalem (1187)

The Siege of Jerusalem took place from September 20 to October 2, 1187. It resulted in the recapture of Jerusalem by Saladin and the near total collapse of the crusader Kingdom of Jerusalem. It served as the catalyst for the Third Crusade.

The Normans killed everyone they could find, of course. The concept of mercy being totally devoid in Christianity. The Muslims, when they retook Jerusalem after a short siege by Saladin, didn't want to kill everyone. They wanted slaves. Makes more profits.

Bin Laden has two targets: Jerusalem and Mecca [Makkar]. These 'high holy places' are of uttermost importance to him. This month, al Qaeda blew up more US facilities such as the embassy in Yemen. Many Americans forget that some of the 9/11 hijackers were from Yemen. The importance of understanding how the US rulers miscalculated and misunderstood the thinking and skills of bin Laden can't be stressed enough. There are many people who think the US has to plan and implement all these attacks itself as if there is NO Islamic forces at work is particularly pathetic.

One of the most potent forces is the rebirth of Islam. It fell into decrepitude after 1600 and the failure to take Vienna. Ever since then, it has been all downhill for the Ottoman empire and all other Islamic communities as the Europeans picked them all apart using modern military tactics. And Islam went bankrupt due to falling into this eternal depression.

This financial failure was due to their concept of banking: they didn't believe in interest rates or compound interest. The lack of new revenues from enslaving populations ceased once the Ottoman empire ceased growing. Instead, a terrible depression took grip of the empire. This is a hazard of all empires built mostly on conquests. Looting new victims is an important part of imperialism.

So instead of encouraging industry, the Ottoman empire used taxes, bribery and extractions of odious nature to fund a lavish lifestyle of the ruling elites. Who were not the head of government. For all Ottoman emperors were kept locked in a tower until ascending the throne, locked away with no commerce with ANY humans on the outside, locked up with nurses and a few concubines.

These insane people were in charge of a mess that was ruled by viziers and eunuchs working with powerful wives of the emperors. This was very similar to the hothouse environments of the Chinese Manchu courts and the Indian Mogul courts. The imposition of modern citizen/state sovereignty upon the tattered remains of these older empires has created explosive conditions for religious revivalism and other tectonic plate forces of history.

This is what the genius, Osama Bin Laden, is so artfully exploiting. This is what all the 'conspiracy theorists' ignore: the rebirth of epic Islamism of the SALADIN style. Just liken in the 1100's, many Europeans wish to exploit this Saladin-revolution. But it will fail just like it did in the past. The Islamic revolution was very weak when the first Crusaders poured suddenly into Jerusalem and killed everyone.

It took 100 years to revive but it did revive! When the Mongols came pouring in, they nearly destroyed Islam yet again in 1245 AD. But Islam won their hearts and minds and they became huge champions of Islam and spread it even further than the earlier conquests!

(ANI): Several senior officers of Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) who are reported to be currently visiting Islamabad were the target of the blast at the Marriott Hotel which took place here tonight.

Well placed sources said that Marriott Hotel is usual hotel choice of the US officials and it seems that militants tipped off that certain high level US intelligence officers were currently staying at the hotel.

Bin Laden wasn't just a CIA operative, he grew up cheek and jowl with the Bushes who are ruining America. The CIA is very mysterious to outsiders and utterly mundane to insiders. Osama is an insider, all the way to the core. He toys with the CIA. He knows the CIA is very obsessed with magic, the top ranks are, that is. So he plays 'magic games' with them. Much of his activities are pitched in such a way, they reverberate with similar historical events as well as often, magic numbers or interesting timeframe intersections.

I would suggest, he is creating a huge spell. And this can be ignored except it is good information: figuring out what he wants to do is based on this objective of his. He is certainly a believer in the forces of magic.

General Petraeus told he 'must succeed' in Afghanistan

The man behind the "surge" strategy in Iraq will take charge of US Central Command tasked with bringing fresh direction to an Afghan campaign that was seen as "marking time".

But he will face a tough battle to bring unity to the 40 nations and 53,000 foreign troops in Afghanistan that come under several different chiefs.

In a downbeat assessment of the current state of the campaign in Afghanistan, the officer said there was "100 per cent chance of success if we do it the right way but if we do it the wrong way there is a zero per cent chance".

He admitted that it was unlikely other nations such as Germany would get more involved in the fighting in southern Afghanistan.

The US decided to use missiles and assassin drones to fight a brave and focused people. Winning hearts and minds via heartless slaughter isn't working very well. As the US flounders and fails, the Taliban and the al Qaeda revolutionaries read of the US financial distress because they have access to the internet! They can track on a daily basis, the collapse of the US empire. Unlike when they fought Russia, they have a catbirds' seat on the drama of the US implosion.

Petraeus comes fresh from Iraq imagining his 'surge' worked. The goal of the surge was to stop the Sunni/Shi'ite infighting as well as the Sunni insurgency against the US invaders. The tool used to stop the IEDs was very primitive: bribes.

ALL empires since day one, since Egypt and Ur, was to bribe fractious insurgents. This always ends up bankrupting empires unless they can use these insurgents to attack other people and enslave them. This is what the Scotsmen did for the British crown, for example. Sent off to Australia or China, India or Africa, they were the shock troopers who battled outraged natives.

The US/UK/Israel empire pays insurgents in China, Russia or Iran, just for example. Far from being honest brokers for peace, the US actually supports insurrections and terrorism in other empires. We think this is very clever and all the other players on the world stage also mouth anti-terrorism promises. But since the dawn of empires 8000 years ago, no one really means any of this talk.

Occasionally, empires endorse 'Realpolitik'. But most of the time, they prefer cloaking themselves in high rhetoric. Which is used by the revolutionaries who seek to unseat older powers. The queer games between Mother Russia and her various dependencies and provinces are one sector the US can't play very well. We see with negotiations between Georgia and Russia, all sorts of mysterious permutations and sudden shifts of the sands. Both parties there know that the US is a dying entity today and so both are once again, dancing with each other. Stalin took over Russia at one point, just to show how deep and mysterious this game can be.

Karzai Agrees To Meet With Palin

The meeting is part of a broader effort to demonstrate the Alaska governor's ability to handle foreign policy issues, at a time when she has come under fire for a lack of experience on the international stage. The opportunity to speak before the United Nations annually draws the world's leaders to Manhattan, and the GOP presidential nominee, Sen. John McCain (Ariz.), plans to use the occasion to introduce Palin to those officials, McCain aides have said.

"It's a great opportunity for Governor Palin to meet and interact with some of the world leaders she will deal with as vice president," said one McCain adviser, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because her U.N. schedu

HAHAHA. The Whore of Babylon who wants to see eternal damnation of all Muslims in the Apocalypse will be visiting with this poor, bedraggled non-ruler! Oh, this will fly like a kite in the huge areas of Afghanistan that are now swearing fealty to the Taliban! No wonder the poor man was so reluctant. Petreaus probably twisted his arm so hard, it left bruises. The US skin headed military treats this captive princeling like he is a prisoner. And everyone can see this clearly which is why everyone has nothing but contempt for the creature. I feel sorry for him.

Since the hockey hero who impregnated her daughter won't marry her, maybe Karzai can suggest husbands willing to take on extra wives. After all, the born again Christians are supposed to look down on out-of-wedlock teens. And now? After the "unimaginable" progress in Iraq – I am quoting the fantasist who still occupies the White House – the Americans are going to hip-hop 8,000 soldiers out of Mesopotamia and dump another 4,700 into the hellfire of Afghanistan. Too few, too late, too slow, as one of my French colleagues commented acidly. It would need at least another 10,000 troops to hope to put an end to these Taliban devils who are now equipped with more sophisticated weapons, better trained and increasingly – sad to say – tolerated by the local civilian population. Back in the late 19th century, the Taliban – yes, the British actually called their black-turbaned enemies "Talibs" – would cut the throats of captured British soldiers. Now this unhappy tradition is repeated – and we are surprised! Two of the American soldiers seized when the Taliban stormed into their mountain base on 13 July this year were executed by their captors.

And now it turns out that four of the 10 French troops killed in Afghanistan on 18 August surrendered to the Taliban, and were almost immediately executed. Their interpreter had apparently disappeared shortly before their mission began – no prizes for what this might mean – and the two French helicopters which might have helped to save the day were too busy guarding the hopeless and impotent Afghan President Hamid Karzai to intervene on behalf of their own troops. A French soldier described the Taliban with brutal frankness. "They are good soldiers but pitiless enemies."

Some things never change. Taliban wearing turbans in the mountains of Afghanistan have a long history of being what they are and who they are: they are extremely resistant to being 'civilized.' The pathetic Saudi royals were once nomadic bandits, too. And they struck oil and became fat little pigeons who are just waiting to be devoured by some harsher, more aggressive, black turbaned revolutionary hoards waving the flag of Islam. This is what Bin Laden hopes and dreams. And his chances of seeing this happen rises every year.

Dead or alive, he is a historical force to be reckoned with.

Ethnic Identity Politics Will Cause WWIII

When empires go bankrupt, they sell off slices of the planet and hunks of humanity. The desperate British Empire did this during WWI, for example. The sale of Palestine...before the British conquered it with the help of the devout desert Arabs who were not told of the secret deal...is a classic example of this. Regularly, I go into the sewer of Middle Eastern politics to chart the course of the Apocalypse, the fearful WWIII event that will destroy all humanity. We have to look this in the face and try to understand it.

WORLD WAR I BRITISH PROMISES TO JEWS

The British pledge that formally committed the British to the Zionist cause, was the Balfour Declaration of November 1917, an instrument created after the Husayn-McMahon Correspondence and the Sykes-Picot Agreement.

Before the emergence of David Lloyd George as prime minister and Arthur James Balfour as foreign secretary in December 1916, the Liberal Herbert Asquith government had viewed a Jewish entity in Palestine as detrimental to British strategic aims in the Middle East. Lloyd George and his Tory supporters, however, saw British control over Palestine as much more attractive than the proposed British-French condominium. Since the time of the Sykes-Picot Agreement, Palestine had taken on increased strategic importance because of its proximity to the Suez Canal, where the British garrison had increased to 300,000 men, and because of a planned British attack on Ottoman Syria originating from Egypt. Lloyd George was determined, as early as March 1917, that Palestine should become British and that he would rely on its conquest by British troops to obtain the abrogation of the Sykes-Picot Agreement.

In the new British strategic thinking, the Zionists appeared as a potential ally capable of safeguarding British imperial interests in the region. Furthermore, as British war prospects dimmed throughout 1917, the War Cabinet calculated that supporting a Jewish entity in Palestine would mobilize America's influential Jewish community to support United States intervention in the war and sway the large number of Jewish Bolsheviks who participated in the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution to keep Russia in the war. Fears were also voiced in the Foreign Office that if Britain did not come out in favor of a Jewish entity in Palestine the Germans would preempt them. Finally, both Lloyd George and Balfour were devout Christians who attached great religious significance to the proposed reinstatement of the Jews in their ancient homeland.

The negotiations for a Jewish entity were carried out by Chiam Weizmann, who greatly impressed Balfour and maintained important links with the British media. In support of the Zionist cause, his protracted and skillful negotiations with the Foreign Office were climaxed on November 2, 1917, by the letter from the foreign secretary to Lord Rothschild, which became known as the Balfour Declaration. This document declared the British government's "sympathy with Jewish Zionist aspirations," viewed with favor "the establishment in Palestine of a National Home for the Jewish People," and announced an intent to facilitate the achievement of this objective. The letter added the provision of "it being clearly understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country."

The British Empire was going bankrupt due to WWI. The government couldn't tax the people further and failures on the battlefield and especially the new form of naval warfare thanks to the invention of the submarine, the greatest naval power on earth was rapidly being literally sunk to the bottom of the seas. The dark year of 1917 saw the British government desperately searching for funding and political support. They got this by making promises to conquer Palestine and hand it secretly to the Zionist movement. The Zionist plans were to eliminate all the inhabitants of that part of the earth and colonize it with only Jews.

This had to be kept secret because the Allies in WWI needed support of the natives of Palestine and Arabia. So the dishonest governors of England chose to make a totally secret deal with powerful Jewish bankers and media owners. The seeds of the Apocalypse were sown in secret because all parties knew that sane people would resist this with all their souls.

It took 100 years to retrain and reorganize the aspirations and thinking processes of generations of millions of people to bring about the Apocalypse. In the US, many millions now believe that the only way they can be saved by Jesus is to turn Jerusalem into a burning pit from hell via nuclear bombs. Then, Jesus will come and eliminate most humans and elevate the true believers...who HATE each other tremendously and think each other are really demons....but this demonic Jesus will select only one sect of True Believers to rule the earth and all others including the Jews who don't join the correct Jesus-sect, will be sent to eternal torment in hell.

Members of my own family believe this with all their hearts. They don't talk to me and are often quite cruel, especially my brother who is a minister, because I believe in my more rational and far less deadly paganist universe. I believe that if we honor Libra and have some balance to our lives and not be too greedy or too wild, we can live a long time on this lovely planet we call 'earth'. And Pegasus is all about eating, drinking and being merry. So I kind of like him, too. And the evil sister goddesses are to be watched closely and treated with respect.

But it seems nearly no one wants this religion so I have to tangle with people who have this concept of perfect gods who are 'jealous' as well as murderous. The believers of these gods like to kill people and are willing to plunge the planet into the ultimate war. Palin, the American right wing incarnation of the Whore of Babylon, wishes to have nuclear war with Russia, for example. McCain wants to bomb, bomb, bomb Iran. The forces unleashed by the liberation of the people of Europe in the Napoleonic Wars continues and worsens. For the American and French revolutions destroyed the concept of land being owned by nobles which the inhabitants had to swear fealty to a person rather than nationalism. There was NO nationalism before 1776.

Quickly, the concept of nationalizm=ethnic/religious identity took over in Europe in the dissolution of the great inherited state empires at the end of WWI. But Zionism was the earliest indication of this hideous new force. The American/French revolution idea was that the NATION was the concept. All religions and ethnic entities were equal and the same. The US Constitution even enshrined this concept in no uncertain terms separating Church and State. But the alternative concept was endorsed at the end of WWI because of Zionism. The idea that a people and religion had superior rights and above all, the right to establish religious/ethnic identity states, was at the core of the explosive peace negotiations.

England was the very first to secretly endorse this hideous concept. Before even conquering Palestine, in November of 1917, the British government promised Jewish financiers, in exchange for gold, they could use the British military as mercenary forces to take Palestine and hand it over to alien Jews who would then begin their purge of the natives. Notice that the Jewish newspaper goes to great lengths to lie about Jewish intentions. We know from letters that have been finally released to the public that Jewish leaders knew they were lying, planned their lies and wanted desperately to keep all interior negotiations as secret as possible. This is because they were planning to commit a great crime. This crime rebounded on the Jewish populations of Europe as it created the conditions of the birth of Naziism. For it clearly showed that there was definitely a secret accord that crosses all national boundaries, one that was a denial of patriotism and was focused on betraying home governments in the name of establishing a Jews-only state in Palestine.

This idea that nationalism is dead and the only true nations are those that are ethnic/religious entities is very insidious and extremely dangerous. Just as we now have, in the US itself, the 'Mother State' of nationalism, the idea that people working for the US government or voted into Congress can be 'dual citizens' due to ethnic/religious identity....IS EXTREMELY DESTRUCTIVE.

Because I adhere 100% to the true concepts of the American Revolution and the US Constitution, I have been banned at more than one site including the odious New York Times due to talking about the evils of ethnic/religious identity national politics versus true nationalism which means all people who inhabit a geographical political entity are equal as well as patriotic. This is what is under fire in our latest several elections: who is a traitor?

Treason, in my books, involves both the Constitution as well as endangering the affairs of our nation, the USA. For example, the ideological push to eliminate all barriers to trade is treasonous since it is destroying our industrial base as well as our national finances. Running imperialist wars that are costing us an arm and a leg is treason. Making secret deals and lying to the American people is treason. Our media lies to us about nearly all particulars when it comes to the dangers of the Apocalypse. Lying about politicians who openly talk about making war on behalf of the owners of the media outlets is treason.

Note the ad I pulled from the Jerusalem Post at the top of this story! It is all about demonizing Obama. It was posted by the REPUBLICAN PARTY and is in a FOREIGN newspaper, in Israel. It is designed to egg on dual citizens into voting for a Republican candidacy that is a bomb freak who wants war with Iran and his Apocalyptic side-kick, Palin, the Whore of Babylon. Let's go the Haaretz, a liberal Israeli newspaper:

Olmert: No such thing as undivided Israel anymore

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Sunday said that the concept of an "undivided Israel is over. There is no such thing. Anyone who talks that way is deluding themselves."

Addressing the cabinet during the weekly meeting, which focused on the evacuation-compensation bill which proposes offering NIS 1.1 million to families willing to move out of West Bank settlements, Olmert said that this was not always his stance.

"During Camp David I thought that [then prime minister] Ehud Barak's concessions were too much, and I told him as much. I thought that land from the Jordan River through to the sea was all ours, but ultimately, after a long and tortured process, I arrived at the conclusion that we must share with those we live with, if we don't want to be a bi-national state."

During the meeting, Vice Premier Haim Ramon presented the cabinet with the outline of a plan to offer NIS 1.1 million to Jewish families willing to voluntarily evacuate their homes in the West Bank.

Ramon's proposal is estimated at a total cost of NIS 2.5 billion. The plan would offer settlers who choose to relocate to the Negev an additional 25 percent compensation and those who agree to move the Galilee region an additional 15 percent.

18 percent of the 60,000 settlers currently living in the West Bank have said they would be willing to relocate. A survey conducted by the Prime Minister's Office showed that more than 11,000 settlers living beyond the security barrier would agree to leave their homes.

Ramon told the cabinet members that "the evacuation of residents of Judea and Samaria is an unavoidable step for those who believe in two states for two peoples - and that includes most of the Israeli public."

Ramon added that Israel's position in negotiations with the Palestinians and in the eyes of the international community would only be bolstered by an announcement that Israel wants to end its presence in the West Bank.

The month after 9/11, Bush went to the UN and sought support in attacking Afghanistan, a country that didn't attack the US [fomer CIA operative, bin Laden was supposed to have organized the attacks]. At the UN, Bush declared US support for a separate Palestinian state made out of the rump of what was left of Palestine after the British conquered it and then secretly began to hand it over to the Jews. The state proposal was strangled by Jewish supporters in the US as well as in Israel. The media went to great lengths to prevent any talk or negotiations that would lead to a separate state all the while, lying about nearly everything and pretending to be interested in negotiations.

Well, this month, all pretense has been dropped. Ever since the Jewish leaders managed to drag poor Obama off to AIPAC and forced him to swear fealty to an anti-American religious/ethnic state, all pretense of negotiations with Palestinians has been dropped. Now, the Final Push to the Sea is beginning. Settlers brought in via US taxpayer dollars are rioting in the West Bank. The subterranean daily insults, abuses and open beatings ministered to the natives has now risen to outright murder and riots. And not a peep about this makes the US news. Here is today's news in Israel via Haaretz:

Security officials vow tougher line against settler violence

Senior security officials said Saturday they would take a harder line in light of the recent spike in violence by West Bank settlers against Palestinians and Israeli soldiers.

A Palestinian youth was killed and a settler, two women tourists and eight Palestinians were injured in a series of violent incidents over the weekend throughout the West Bank. A military official called the events "wild rioting that must be stopped."

This story does not appear in any US media. During WWI, the population was kept in the dark about casualties and war losses, especially the deteriorating financial condition of the empires. So it is today: the US public is, for the most part, nearly totally oblivious about what is going on. Not due to stupidity but due to the hyper-secrecy of the US media and the politicians who all are owned by AIPAC at this point. To show how this insidious process works, I asked the NY Times to list all articles about settlers rioting and attacking Palestinians. And got a very meagre handful of listings.

Here are some older stories of similar riots, one of which actually appeared in the NY Times although it was merely a Reuters cable, not a big NYT story. Only stories praising Jewish delusions is allowed like the recent one where a Jewish reporter for the NTY walked around Tel Aviv's segregated beaches and met only Palestinians who agreed with him that all was well and the Jews were really nice people, not vicious conquerers.

Thousands of right wing settlers attacked police attempting to evacuate the illegal West Bank Bank outpost of Amona. Rioters hurled cement blocks and rocks at police, and used knives and other weapons. One policeman was stabbed in the stomach; another was critically injured by a cement block thrown on his head. Many more were injured. One settler had a serious skull fracture. In all, a total of 200 police and settlers were injured.

What is the answer to this anti-democratic anarchy? Immediately stop all state funding to hesder yeshivot. Arrest those on the Yesha Council who refused to stop the violence. Fire all rabbis on the government payroll who in any way support disobeying orders, violent protest or refusal to serve. And arrest any rabbi who has committed treason or encoraged violence.

About once every 5 years, the Times carries an article about this. I remember when the horrors happening to blacks in the US south never made the news. It was only when the media began to carry stories about the white on black crimes, did the rest of the world demand this stop. The US was running a huge propaganda war against Russia while conducting ethnic cleansing in the US south. This was forced to stop, thank goodness.

Lauren Booth, human rights activist and sister-in-law of the former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, has said she is being prevented from leaving Gaza.
Ms Booth arrived in the Gaza Strip on a "peace boat" to publicise Israel's blockade of the Palestinian territory.

Here we are, in a very stupid election with the very first 'black' candidate getting support of half of the nation and he can't argue with his white opponents or he is called 'uppity' and is hassled by the media into shutting up while the white candidates hammer away at him. He can't even debate issues without being seen as 'uppity'. This is tied into the business of Israel for racism is all about being Jewish and 'pure'. As all ethnic/religious states depend on sexual identity, this is an ugly undercurrent in US politics.

The ethnic cleansing of Palestine doesn't make the news here. And it is very ugly. It has also revived ethnic identity politics across the Islamic world. This is why we see tensions between rival Muslim faith groups like the Shia versus the Sunni. State lines not only have to be constantly redrawn, whole populations must be eradicated or moved when this happens. We see this across Europe during the last 100 bloody years. It continues in Europe. We see Belgium unable to have a stable government due to hostilities over language and religion in that tiny, so-called 'civilized' country. Former Austro-Hungarian imperial countries are sub-dividing in ugly ways. Just as the Ottoman Empire continues its disintegration.

The philosophical battle between nationalism and tribalism is lost. Tribalism is winning, hands down. Except in China. This is why I say, China is now the leader in true liberalism. The attempt by the tribalists in the West at splintering China along ethnic/religious tribal lines has failed. And China intends to keep this from happening. I was one of the very few commentators in the US to understand that the victory of China over the religious/ethnic rioters in Tibet was a good thing.

The Chinese have been slow to talk about the philosophical underpinnings of these nationalist victories. Europe is going the opposite direction: it is trying to become a loose confederate empire by encouraging ethnic/religious divisions under the umbrella of NATO and the European Union. But this is a very weak entity that dares not go to war with anyone. As we saw with the confrontation with Russia.

Russia is very tempted to go the tribal route and have only Orthodox Russians but Putin has cast this aside and he is a convert to the Chinese concept of US-style nationalism! Isn't this utterly ironic? Now, back to today's Haaretz:

ADL: Religious groups' plan to break bread with Ahmadinejad is a 'betrayal'

Five American religious organizations have announced plans to host a dinner to break the Ramadan fast with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad during his upcoming visit to the United States.

The Mennonite Central Committee, the Quakers, the World Council of Churches, Religions for Peace and the American Friends Service Committee are sponsoring the meeting with President Ahmadinejad on September 25 in New York City.

This story didn't make the news in the US, either. I believe that during the election, the Zionists want to keep as low a profile as possible even as they haul the candidates to AIPAC to swear fealty to THEM and not to the US. I happen to believe that AIPAC has finally gained status as 'traitorous organization' and it should be investigated and then disbanded. It is obviously corrupting our government and endangering the US political systems. Last year, the NYT allowed one of their Jewish internal bloggers the right to call for President Carter to be arrested for treason! The Times hates Jimmy Carter because of the book he wrote that honestly compared Zionist activities in Palestine to be 'apartheid.' The arrogance of the top Zionists has grown to the point, they can openly destroy US Presidents by running media campaigns against them. And they have turned all US candidates into puppets that must dance when the media strings are pulled.

Bob Barr, by the way, has managed to get 2% of the vote in the polls despite a near-100% media black out of his activities and speeches. Ron Paul got even more support despite a huge media push to marginalize him. But note how he has once again vanished from view. I used to say, 'I can hold a press conference naked and the media won't put me in the news except to talk about a mysterious woman who gave a speech while naked.' Actually, I did make a speech half-naked once, way back in 1969. Despite having size D breasts, this barely made the news and no history books about the wild sixties mentions my infamous but invisible speech in Berkeley, California.

U.S. to sell Israel Air Force new bunker-buster bombs

Despite reservations in Washington regarding a possible Israeli strike on Iran, the American administration will supply Israel with sophisticated weapons for heavily fortified targets, the U.S. administration announced.

The U.S. Department of Defense announced it would sell the Israel Air Force 1,000 new smart bombs, rumored to significantly enhance the IAF's military capabilities. The deal was approved amid public and secret messages from Washington, with the Americans expressing their reservations about a possible Israeli strike against the Islamic Republic's suspected nuclear sites.

What Israel wants, Israel gets. Without question. This is why the US will support all efforts to disarm Israel's neighbors but not Israel, itself. Since we can't disarm Iran, Iran isn't as stupid as Iraq, we must menace Iran with bunker-buster bombs. Israel hopes to use Iraq's airspace to attack Iran. They are running out of time and are itching to get moving. The price of gasoline in the US is shooting upwards thanks to Hurricane Ike. We can triple this if we let Israel fly these stupid bunker busting bombs to Iran.

Medvedev to Haaretz: Attack on Iran will endanger entire world

And THIS news didn't make the news in US media! Not to the degree it is resounding across the globe. But this is why the US is now restarting the Cold War. We have to crush Russia in order to crush the Palestinians. This illogical approach is why I fear the Apocalypse will be dropped on our heads.

(UPI) -- Iraqi traders are buying up cheap, low-quality Iranian goods, taking advantage of open transport routes and newly established ties, Iraqi businessmen said.

Despite budget increases for the Iraqi government, most Iraqis face chronic underemployment, making cheaper Iranian goods attractive to Iraqi customers, the Iraqi daily newspaper Azzaman reported.

"Almost all Iraqi traders have now shifted their attention to Iran," said Mohammed Abbas, a local trader in Baghdad.

HAHAHA. Iran won Desert Storm II. It was obvious from the beginning that Iran would win. This is overturning all the nice plots and plans of nearly everyone who was focused on increasing US and Israel power in the Middle East. When we go to war on fake philosophical beliefs and secret accords, bad things happen. The pretense of bringing peace and freedom to religious/tribal authorities has led to hyper-nationalism on the part of the Shi'ites in the Muslim world. They are on the path to victory and ethnic cleansing. They totally endorse the CONCEPT of ethnic cleansing which they justify because the US and Europe endorses and believes in ethnic cleansing.

This is why Israel is a huge danger to ALL nations: its fundamental basis is a total denial of the modern nationalist state. Just as Hitler conceived of a national-socialist state based not on citizenship but on ethnic identity, this noxious vision has been pushed even harder by Zionists. They represent the Nazi ideal, not the Washington ideal of a citizenship state where all people are equal. Even the US had to fight for true nationalism which is why the slave-owning South opted for confederation, not nationalism. They wanted to have ethnic/religious identity determine citizenship.

The fight for civil rights is bound up in the fight for nationalist citizenship. This is the big debate we should all be having. Not waving a useless flag but talking about the dangers of ethnic identity politics.

I seldom do Tarot card readings. People who depend on any psychic crutch are misled. Some things are used only on very special occasions. For myself, tarot cards are a once-a-year event. I don't ask questions about my love life [HAHAHA---don't need to see what surprises are in store there anymore!] nor in money matters. All I want to know is, what strange things are the Real Rulers up to. They all practice magic and believe in trying to see the future using Geronimo's skull in the case of the Bushes, for example.

We are entering a time/space frame that is of supreme importance to the Real Rulers. Yesterday, Bush and Cheney once again declared the ongoing 'State of Emergency' due to 9/11/1. At the GOP convention, McCain's gang put up a picture of a Jr. High School because they thought it was the VA hospital that was in the news due to Pentagon neglect of wounded soldiers. They also ran a 9/11 movie that was pure fantasy.

9/11 is surrounded by so much madcap magic, fantasy, bizarre religious beliefs, plots, plans, conspiracies and outright black magic and tons of magic numbers galore: it is the Grand Prize of all Black Ops Events. It is the Black Hole of all Black Ops.

Most people can't see the subtle games and strange magical forces at work in this awful mess. It is easier to frame it as mechanical stuff [like the 'bombs in the WTC' belief systems that have taken over so many minds]. Understanding how oblique real Black Magic is, can be interesting. Though I have found, through the years, people don't want to know. So we can have the magician, Greenspan, openly tell us, 'The Federal Reserve is NOT a magical piggy bank,' when it is obvious to anyone who has half a brain, it certainly IS a magical piggy bank.

This is true with everything. The CIA has, since its birth, been very interested in psychic powers. Especially those which can 'see' through walls or into the future. They want Watchers, in other words. Those celestial vultures that are anything but friendly. Certainly, the ideology of the Watchers is dark, menacing and frankly, deadly.

The CIA wanted someone to come along who could enlighten them. My mom gave birth to me the same time the CIA was created. A number of people involved in the CIA knew about my association with the Watchers. I was very careless when I was a child and would blurt out, what was going to happen next on the TV news when my parents got their first TV set, for example.

But again: the CIA wants these powers so the US can become ruler of the planet earth and steal stuff. Since that isn't my own ideology, I am no use to them. They will deny all this, of course. 'Sounds like Elaine is deluded,' they will say.

Readers of this news service know that I can accurately call the shots. This is because I can 'see' more than is apparent to the naked eye. Or rather, like Libra, I can tell truth from fiction while blindfolded. This always enrages any group that has belief systems that clash with what I say. But that is what is and will be. Anyone can believe anything if they wish. It is always option #1: believe something no matter how far-fetched.

And I am very far-fetched! Back to my annual Tarot card reading: not since August, 2001, have I had such a dire reading.

My question was, 'What is going to happen this election in the US?'

The cards I use is 'The Elaine Deck' and was made by someone who said, 'Elaine is a weird girl with blonde hair and green eyes.' This deck has extra cards which I really appreciate. They are called 'The Princess' cards and 'The Prince' cards. I am the Princess of Cups, for example. In the center of this throw is the Princess of Pentacles. Pentacles is money. Note that She is an old woman, I would suggest, the Guardian at the Gates of Death. See how She is casting a spell in a sort of Stonehenge place. The collapse of the banking system this year is not over. This Goddess is in control of the election. A tremendous amount of money is flowing this election cycle. More than ever before. Despite huge wealth destruction.

So money is dead center in this election. And it is the magical, conjuring part that is central, not, say, making money via manufacturing. That would be the Ten of Pentacles. Above and below this witch card is the Emperor upside down and the deadly Three of Swords. During the primaries, everyone running for Emperor would 'joke' about Obama being assassinated.

At the top of this throw is the Prince of Wands. Dagon is an old Phoenician god. The US religious right worships this god. This god plans to kill all humans. This is the prayer of the born again Christians. On the other side of the top is 'Change'. This is another money card and is Obama's mantra this election. But note how it is diagonal from the Goddess of Black Magic Money card! Looking down the diagonal, we get to the sexual monster woman, the Princes of Wands.

All Wands cards are about power and rule. I threw this Tarot card business before McCain announced his choice for VP. Atargatis is definitely Pulin. Across from her is the 9 of Wands. The US is already in a lockdown. Bush and Cheney have granted themselves arbitrary police powers due to 9/11 which was probably produced by themselves and other parties like Mossad. Amy Goodman, for example, was locked up because she was covering the news about the anti-war demonstrations.

Nearly no one goes to the streets anymore due to the police state we live in today. The bottom two cards are the future: the Devil and Disillusionment, the 8 of swords. Note the Watcher flying in the sky in this card. The Skull and Bones guys who infest our government all pray to the Devil That Is Death. Note that this demon stands on a box with a pentagram on it. This is the wealth in the Magical Piggy Bank Greenspan talked about yesterday.

The Democrats had to hash out a lot of sexual and racial stuff. Today, we learn that the Princess of Wands [note how she is holding her tits] likes to talk dirty about race. And sex. Indeed, she is a pure monster. She wasn't forced out of the race when it became obvious that she is the world's worst mother. Now, we learn that she is a KKK clone.

This is how Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin described Barack Obama’s win over Hillary Clinton to political colleagues in a restaurant a few days after Obama locked up the Democratic Party presidential nomination.

According to Lucille, the waitress serving her table at the time and who asked that her last name not be used, Gov. Palin was eating lunch with five or six people when the subject of the Democrat’s primary battle came up. The governor, seemingly not caring that people at nearby tables would likely hear her, uttered the slur and then laughed loudly as her meal mates joined in appreciatively.

“It was kind of disgusting,” Lucille, who is part Aboriginal, said in a phone interview after admitting that she is frightened of being discovered telling folks in the “lower 48” about life near the North Pole.

Then, almost with a sigh, she added, “But that’s just Alaska.”

McCain prayed to the Devil That Is Death, ie, he asked Karl Rove who to choose as his running mate. This goofy lady is also traitor who wanted to split Alaska from the Union so she could exploit it sort of like how Georgia is run today over in Europe. She wanted to be Empress.

This is going to be a tooth-grinding election. There are no real Americans running for office. Everyone including Pulin who swore fealty to Israel above patriotism to the US. The price of gas is going down only because the oil companies, sated by record profits, went to lull us to sleep. Pulin works for them. I warned people that if Bush and Cheney, oil twins from hell, were elected, we would see high oil prices. They delivered this in spades.

Will Americans be more worried about gay men kissing or black men touching white women, to see how they are being abused and used? One wonders. I really hope not. All I can say is, I hope next year's Tarot reading is less wicked.

Triumph Of The GOP White Trailer Trash

The rise of Sarah Palin and her clutch of wild-living family are the perfect mirror of the collapse in morals that is rapidly destroying families. Far from being a traditional conservative, she is a radical sybaritic secessionist which seems to be the prevailing culture of a great swath of the 'wrong side of the railroad tracks' American landscape. This is where much of the battle for hearts and minds is now being waged as we saw in the Democratic Party's nightmare primary.

During the primary, since we saw for the very first time in American history, a 'black' man running strongly in a major party, this historic event provoked a strong movement from below: concern about WHITE working class stiffs and what we often fondly call 'trailer trash'. This new narrative about the habits, morals, tastes and tendencies of the large underbelly of the US populace has excited many commentators. The GOP has studied this new force and come up with some amazing and extremely destructive ways of wielding this latest racist tool.

Namely, the concept of labeling a man who was born to the former victims of Jim Crow, a man that who would have been denied a seat on a bus if he was born in his father's day, a man who would not have been allowed to go to school with white children if he were my age, a man who would be lynched if he looked at a white woman in the Deep South if he were my father's age: in other words, the total outsider, the man who would have had absolutely no privileges at all if he were born just one generation earlier, is being cast as the 'elitist' because he knows how to hold a knife and fork. He is polite and pleasant. He is well-spoken and well-educated. And he is smart and handsome.

In stark contrast, we have the Bushes: members of the US ruling class for 200 years. All born with the proverbial silver spoon in the mouth. Make that an entire 12 piece setting in the mouth. They don't even go to public schools as children, they go to exclusive private schools. They are 100% dyed in the wool Eastern Establishment ruling elites. To disguise themselves, they pulled the same trick Teddy Roosevelt played: pretend to be cowboys.

This narrative was to use the mythology of the cowboy as icons of the brave and free inheritors of the earth as he kills off or drives out the native population so ranchers and miners could exploit the vast riches of the North American continent. Just like the mythology that Africans kidnapped from their homes and enslaved here, loved their masters and not the other way around, imperialist impulses are wrapped up in the mythology of the weakest, poorest members of white European colonial power. Just as the major slave owners of antebellum South cynically used the teeming poor in the back country and mountains to support the very same slavery that was making the lowest class whites poorer and weaker, so it is today: the common root problems plaguing poor US whites and poor US minorities is exactly the same.

The collapse of the family and personal morals afflicts all levels of what the Germans call 'the Lumpen Proletariat.' Often, the only thing these people have is their sense of dignity and race identity politics. We call the white sector of this underbelly, 'White trailer trash'. They tend to live in rural slums more than say, Hispanic, Asian or Black underclass populations. We saw these people in great numbers in this last primary when they trooped outside to cast their votes against 'that uppity, elitist black guy' which was not under their collective boot heels.

The only way most poor white Americans can live with their degraded condition is to look down on someone else and that someone is nearly universally the grandsons and granddaughters of former slaves. In the Deep South, the poorest 'white trash' living in a hovel could scrape together a few dollars and buy a young black slave. Once they did this, they could begin production of human chattel by forcing her to have sex with the owner who then sold off his children to work in fields or estates of the richer slave owners. This was seen as the ticket to easy living.

One didn't have to plow a field or harvest crops. One could go out hunting caribou or deer. One could scavenge for left-overs or raise a few pigs and chickens. Mostly, one could have a small income while lolli-gagging about the front porch, drinking booze and talking politics. This Garden of Eden lifestyle was destroyed by the Abolitionists and the emergence of the Republican Party which was based on honest labor of free farmers working their own lands.

The socially degraded life aspirations of antebellum 'trailer trash' haunts the white lower classes to this day. I know from interacting with them, they are very enthusiastic about the idea of slavery being a good thing. Once, a white guy who was on welfare was talking big about how he loved the dear Old South and thought slavery was great. So I observed that my own ancestors heartily agreed with that. This is why they would tear into communities on their dragon-headed ships and slay, steal or enslave everyone. They then interbred with their captives who they called 'serfs' and became 'Normans'. Norman-stock still rule in parts of Europe.

This guy was greatly offended when I told him idly that yes, enslaving white guys is a great idea and perhaps I should take my rifle out and begin my 'enslave all pro-slavery whites' agenda. First job for him was to clean my ox stalls out. Of course, the guy stormed off, yelling that I was crazy. I didn't shoot him, of course. But if I was a slaver, he would not have gone more than three steps before my Mastiff [biggest breed of dogs used to control serfs and slaves for the last 4,000 years] would have pulled him down.

Here we are today: the ruling elites are aping trailer trash morals, habits, talk and mentality not because they think this is a good idea but out of NAKED FEAR. They fear that if they show up looking and acting civilized, they will be noticed as ruling elites. They certainly do act and aspire to being 'civilized' when at various social events which excludes the teeming, sweaty masses. But they know that if these stellar elite events are noted by the increasingly enslaved, poor white masses in Europe and America, there might be these unfortunate events we call 'revolutions.' This is when the poor masses kill the real rulers.

For 2,000 years even up to 20th century Germany, the Jews were the main population used by the elites to protect themselves from 'poor white trash'. They would toss this religious minority to the raging mobs and say, 'Kill them, not us!' This worked about 90% of the time. When civil rights were finally and extremely belatedly handed over to religious minorities and former slaves in the USA when LBJ signed the 1964 Civil Rights Act, the army of arrogant white racists exited the Democratic Party in a group huff. They milled around a while. One pro-white trash racist, Wallace, tried to launch his own racist/fascist party but he was conveniently shot and thus, prevented from interfering with the new Republican program.

After the failure to launch an all-racist-all the time party, this great mass of disaffected, lower class whites flowed like a sea into the Republican Party which embraced them with open arms. This is the 'Southern Strategy' which the money interests used to corral a herd of bewildered human cattle into a pen where they could moo and moo and be milked while money could flow into the coffers of Eastern Establishment bankers like the Rockerfellers.

I.e: the Real Rulers latched onto the very same population that normally would be after them with pitchforks when things go bad. When the Real Rulers needed to herd this lowly population into sorting pens so they could be either milked or killed for dinner or skinned for leather, the rulers had to become Cowboys. This is why granddaddy Bush encouraged his spawn to spit food while talking at the dinner table. Ma Bush imitated Ma Kettle by having her spawn run riot, torturing small animals, skipping school, teasing weaker children, bullying the servants, etc. Each generation of the Bushes are cruder and crueler. They are nearly universally cowardly but entice the real trailer trash to strut about arrogantly while killing brown skinned people who are of different cultures or religions. The US Indian Wars have moved to the Middle East and are pretty much identical. The natives there live on top of mineral wealth we want so we go cowboy our way into their lands and 'tame' them by killing millions of them.

Back to today's convention: the GOP has become the White Trailer Trash Party. When Reagan was running for office, the white masses claimed they wanted a return to 'morals' and the 'Moral Majority' wanted to stop wild teen sex. Instead, this took off. Teens became increasingly sexualized by the media and merchants who supported this and still support this. They need out of control teens to make lots and lots of money. Once the religious leaders of white trailer trash decided abortion was evil, they had to put on this campaign to support pregnancies. Being basically cruel and basically wanting slavery, seeing former slaves happily having babies out of wedlock and then living on welfare infuriated white racists who wanted welfare...FOR THEMSELVES. They wanted to sit on the porch all day and order a few slaves around while spitting into the spittoon and then ordering the slaves to have sex with them.

So, the punish the out of control slaves who were also now doing this, the white trailer trash agreed with the greedy wolves of the Real Ruling Class to sever the lifeline that kept many white trailer trash happy having sex and goofing off. Welfare was ended. Suddenly, the financial condition of these poor, deluded people began to collapse. Since most of them refuse to associate with unions because they are collective and require some understanding about race, class and the Real Rulers, the US mass of white trailer trash thrashed about mightily.

They then collectively decided that their condition was deteriorating badly not because of their crazy belief systems but because they were not moral. So they decided to 'go to Jesus' for help. Only they didn't want Jesus, they wanted Santa Claus to come down the chimney with a bag full of black slave girls they could enslave and have sex with! God willing, this is not to be talked about in polite society! But I grew up in the Deep South! I know what everyone really talked about behind the backs of their victims!

The freedom granted the grandchildren of slaves meant that blacks could go about America, being proud and not stepping aside for white trailer trash. Worse, black men and women could go about setting up cultural values! The offspring of the white trailer trash is extremely attracted to this lifestyle. Doing sex, drugs, drinking, fighting, boasting, stealing, all the fun activities of any urban lumpen proletariate has been happily embraced by white trailer trash children who ape the dress, talk and music of the black inner city underclass.

So here we are today: the once proud white middle class Republican as the Nixons were, for example, are now being all turned into white trailer trash aping black inner city urban poor! And they hate this but this is their legacy! These sad people want desperately to be 'moral' but don't want to be 'civilized'. They want a primitive notion of moral that allows them to have sex, drugs and drink and not work but do this under the mantle of being superior because they own slaves.

It is that simple. This is why they fear and hate Obama. He clearly shows how one can be civilized and follow the social codes of the Ruling Elites while starting life very poor. When I was growing up, I was trained to be 'civilized.' I went to the opera at age 6, for example. Read the right books, learned all the right skills for proper conversation, proper decorum in church, proper dress, etc. But I threw it all out and became a crazy hippie. Heh! It was fun! Even had trailer trash and inner city urban black boyfriends!

It was immense fun. This underclass is where many of our arts and our culture comes from. But the hatreds come from these sectors, too. The conflicts brewing here are extremely explosive. Back to the GOP which seeks to exploit these divisions and dangers so the bankers can get richer and not pay taxes and enslave the teeming masses: as the Real Rulers wrestle with herding these very dangerous and very heavily armed white trailer trash mass, they are themselves, turning into white trailer trash. The Bushes are very degraded at this point and are barely distinguishable from the population they targeted for political control. Rather than riding to power on the back of the white trailer trash, they have become trailer trash, themselves.

Money is nothing if it leads to this result. The lack of sense and 'good taste' in political families in the GOP who are struggling to reinvent themselves as white trailer trash is destroying the families of the white ruling elites doing this. The big slave owners of the estates in the Deep South worked very hard to elevate their own children above the mass of slaves and poor white trash that surrounded them. Absent a true middle class, the white estate owners tried desperately to ape European royalty but always had to struggle with the idea that their own children, raised by slaves, were increasingly falling behind the attainments of middle class whites in the Northeast. The tendency towards careless sex coupled with lazy attitudes was weakening the ruling class in the South.

Just as it weakened it in Europe! The greatest cultural attainments of what we call 'high culture' such as opera, ballet, classical music, painting, sculpture, etc are nearly universally the output of the growing European middle class. The people who were industrious and who worked hard to master difficult arts and skills. Science is part of this middle class, too. Note how the GOP, as it attracts and enables the worst of the white trailer trash mentality and morals also hates science. Mrs. Palin isn't just the mother of teens doing wild sex rather than going to school. Her husband is a classic drunk dreaming of hanging out on the porch, having sex as his job. She and he hate culture and science and want to strangle it and enslave anyone who is doing these yucky things.

Closed minded but not closed mouthed, they yell about the need to force women into the Kinder/Kuchen/Kirche lifestyle while NOT living this entirely or rather, wanting to have their cake and eat it too. Pulin is a fraud. She wants Women's Rights as well as all the freedoms and rights of liberalism while at the same time, she wants to be 100% White Trailer Trash from Hell. She wants to throw garbage out the windows while braying that she is civilized.

She is a fool and a danger to herself and her family. And if the US white underclass continues to think that exploiting the environment and belittling science is the key to a golden future, they should remember who their ancestors were: my family's slaves. They, themselves, are but one step away from slavery. They should be praising liberals for saving them from this.

Russia Shows Europe Who Is Boss

Emboldened by the umbrella of US nuclear imperial power, Europe has chosen to fight Russia rather than be friends with Russia. This unwise choice is rapidly moving Russia towards various interesting and obvious retaliatory choices. If Europe wants to park US missiles and troops around Russia, Russia can mess with Europe's existence since they chose nuclear powered politics rather than sane, sensible normal diplomatic efforts to get along with their main energy supplier. This is a contest Europe will overwhelmingly lose. As always, incidentally.

Putin reminds EU of Russia's Pacific oil pipeline

(Reuters) - Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said on Sunday that Russia's first oil pipeline to Asia must be completed without delay, underlining Russia's energy clout just hours before European Union leaders meet to discuss Georgia. Russian state-owned news agency RIA said Putin had signed a government order "on speeding the building of phases of the Eastern Siberia - Pacific Ocean (pipeline) and not allowing delays," while on a visit to the Far East.

He was speaking in Kozmino, a giant oil terminal being built on the Pacific coast to take the oil from the pipeline, which is being built by Transneft.

Russia doesn't have one customer. They are a major energy exporting power. Just like the US has to play footsie with Saudi Arabia, Europe has to protect Russia, not alienate or threaten Russia. I still marvel at how easily Eastern Europe has dragged Western Europe into a useless confrontation with Russian power. The former Warsaw Pact countries see this as a golden opportunity to stick it to their former masters. But the rest of Europe is going along for the ride because they want to bully Russia into giving them cheap energy.

The nexus here is obvious: Europe and the US hate BOTH Russia and Saudi Arabia! Absolutely loathe their people, their politics, their culture. Everything. The authors of WWI and WWII want to have us believe they are peaceful and kindly. Not the potential authors of WWIII. The chances that the new Holy Roman Empire III, aka, the European Union, might start yet another global imperial war is extremely high since they did this twice in the past. Only during the brief Cold War when Russia and the US divided Europe in two, were they unable to try to rule the entire planet or fight to the death to rule the planet.

EU's show of unity over Georgia

The last time that European Union leaders met for an emergency summit in Brussels in early 2003 there was an almighty clash.

The then French President Jacques Chirac publicly chided the countries of the former Soviet bloc for being "badly brought up" and "losing an opportunity to shut up" because they supported America's tough line on Iraq.

This time, "old Europe" and "new Europe" have overcome their divisions to agree on a tough line on Russia - at least for now.After a summit lasting just four hours, Nicolas Sarkozy - Mr Chirac's successor and currently in charge of the EU rotating presidency - announced that Europe was united.

Over four pages, the summit conclusions strongly condemn Russia's "disproportionate reaction" in Georgia, describe as "unacceptable" its recognition of the independence of South Ossetia and Abkhazia and call on other states "not to recognise this proclaimed independence".

Eastern Europe WANTS global war! The Balkans WANT global war! The British WANT global war. France and Germany, in 2003, were leery of starting WWIII because they had unpleasant encounters from the Napoleonic wars, WWI and WWII. But in a mere few years, the tide turned and even France and Germany decided ethnic warfare is good, egging on wars like the one being stewed against Iran, are good. And in sum: all their dependence on Russian commodities and good will are not needed if they can INTIMIDATE Russia. So the old hat way of doing business: bellowing and then launching sneak attacks on Russia---are now back in fashion!

So Europe is 'united' in its desire to drag the US into a global war with Russia. This is beyond infantile: it is courting certain death. Perhaps not one lesson was learned in the last 100 years there. I know they teach history in school there, I went to school in Germany and they cover the major wars pretty good. The ruins of WWII were still quite visible when I lived in Germany. Germany was occupied by 4 major forces. I lived in the French Sector, for example. The Germans sniggered at the French troops who didn't know how to strut and march properly. Seriously.

Well, here we are with Europe united in pushing back against Russia and Russia is united in shoving Europe's swagger down their throats.

Russia's Gazprom Suspends Gas Deliveries to Europe Due to Repairs

Gas transportation through the Yamal-Europe pipeline will be suspended as of 1600 on 2 September until 2200 on 3 September due to repairs, a Gazprom report reads.

"Following requests from the EuRoPol GAZ and Wingas companies for planned repairs in Poland and Germany, gas transportation through the Yamal-Europe pipeline will be suspended from 1600 on 2 September until 2200 on 3 September. As of 2200 on 3 September until 2200 on 4 September gas deliveries will amount to 50m cu.m. a day," the report said.

The more Europe whines, the more the pipelines will need repairs. If Europe really whines, they can freeze to death. The bellicose European leaders seeking to crush Russian power will then scream they will go to the Saudis for oil and gas. Scratch that. They will use the Nabucco pipeline to circumvent Russia! HAHAHA. Too bad that might end up developing leaks! What if Russia and Saudi Arabia begin doing business with China that involves China getting first dibs on ALL energy from both? This is the future. The US has a bad habit of just printing more fiat dollars to pay for energy. China has gold and cash. As well as trade goods and other things to do business.

A solvent China is already outbidding the deep in debt West. Now that the West is kicking Russia out of the G8 and reverting to the Seven Dwarves status, both Russia and China are joining Saudi Arabia on the outside. Where they are very powerful and getting more so as time passes. Europe knows this and hopes by strengthening nuclear war powers, they can still somehow muscle the new rising powers in the world. Using US missiles and submarines, Europe hopes to dictate oil deals. Like they tried in Iraq.

Where China has just won a $3 billion deal to do oil business with the Shi'ites! Here is a warning from Russia just last year:

28 April 2006 Russia Talks of Diverting Oil to Asia

President Vladimir Putin has said that Russia should direct future oil and natural gas exports to Asia because "unprincipled competition" had blocked its energy companies from expanding elsewhere.

With the bold warning that Russia has other export options, Putin waded into a debate in Europe over the plans of Gazprom, the natural gas monopoly, which is trying to enter the retail gas market.

Putin couched his comments in a discussion of a new trans- Siberian pipeline to ship oil to China, Japan and other Pacific Rim markets. He spoke before a meeting on energy issues with Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany in the Siberian city of Tomsk. After Gazprom briefly cut natural gas exports to Ukraine in January, European leaders have questioned the reliability of Russia as an energy supplier.

It is certainly a large one. At the end of trading Wednesday, the stock market value of Gazprom was $267 billion, more than that of BP, Europe's largest energy company. The value put Gazprom in second place after Exxon Mobil of the United States. Gazprom is now the fourth-largest company in the world after Exxon, General Electric and Microsoft.

"We often encounter unfair competition on international markets," Putin told a business forum held before the meeting with Merkel.

When Russia pulled out this threat from their shako hat, Europe reacted by redoubling efforts to lay their paws on the US nuclear war systems. Instead of understanding Russia, they thought it was time to show Russia who was the real boss: Napoleon. I just watched the Russian 'War and Peace' movie, all of it in Russian, and it was a sobering affair. Truly, this business about pushing Russia around has astounding features, the top one being, how NO ONE learns a DAMN THING from history concerning this sort of activity!

China patiently builds their empires by enfolding other kingdoms with minimum fuss and muss, Russia is the opposite: they fight to the death. They might not fight all that well when the stakes are small. But when they are fighting for Mother Russia itself, this changes them into the world's most ferocious and tenacious fighters. And they always take their battles back to whoever attacked them in the first place. China doesn't do this. Russia always does this.

Gazprom Neft looks to send crude to China via Kazakhstan

Gazprom Neft, the oil arm of Russian energy giant Gazprom, plans to apply for permission to ship crude oil to China via Kazakhstan in the fourth quarter of this year and in 2009, the company CEO said on Monday.

"We are the only company that has a direct contract with China Oil," Alexander Dyukov said.

It was earlier reported that Gazprom Neft had not been included in the schedule for oil shipments to China via Kazakhstan along the Atasu-Alashankou pipeline.

The company said it had applied to the Energy and Fuel Ministry for permission to pump 1.08 mln tons of crude in April-December 2008, but ran into transit problems with the Kazakh state transport monopoly KazTransOil.

As Europe diddles with Russian irritations, the many connections between Russia and China grow rapidly. Time is of the essence here: if Europe is stupid, they will end up, when the Hubbert Oil Peak goes global, begging for energy and not getting it. Europe's choice to cease triangulating and switching to strangulating China and Russia is going to go down in history as the stupidest collective choice yet.

UN Security Council rebuffs Georgian separatists

(Reuters) - The U.N. Security Council refused Thursday to approve a request from representatives of two Georgian breakaway regions, which Russia has recognized as independent states, to address the council.In recent months Russia has repeatedly asked the 15-nation council to allow representatives of Georgia's two separatist enclaves, South Ossetia and Abkhazia, to speak to the Security Council but Western council members have reacted coolly.

However, the situation became more complicated this week when Russia formally recognized South Ossetia and Abkhazia as independent countries after invading Georgia earlier this month to thwart an attempt by Tbilisi to regain control over South Ossetia. Both regions broke away from Tbilisi in the 1990s.

"There was no unanimous support to respond positively to these requests now," Belgium's U.N. Ambassador Jan Grauls told reporters after a closed-door meeting.

Kosovo was recognized by the EU. So they should give Russia something in return. They won't do this because they imagine the US nuclear umbrella and the threat of US missiles aimed right at Moscow means they can snap their finger's under Russia's nose. This stupid idea is backfiring.

Russian Offensive Hailed in Mideast

For some in the Middle East, the images of Russian tanks rolling into Georgia in defiance of U.S. opposition have revived warm memories of the Cold War.

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad flew last week to Moscow, where he endorsed Russia's offensive in Georgia and, according to Russian officials, sought additional Russian weapon systems.

Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, Libyan leader Moammar Gaddafi's influential son, echoed the delight expressed in much of the Arab news media. "What happened in Georgia is a good sign, one that means America is no longer the sole world power setting the rules of the game," the younger Gaddafi was quoted as telling the Russian daily Kommersant. "There is a balance in the world now. Russia is resurging, which is good for us, for the entire Middle East."

In Turkey, an American and European ally that obtains more than two-thirds of its natural gas from Russia, the reaction was more complex. Turks watched as the United States, NATO and a divided European Union hesitated in the face of Russian military assertiveness, leaving them more doubtful than they already were about depending on the West to secure U.S.-backed alternative oil and gas supply lines.

"This Russian invasion of Georgia is a turning point in the relations of the Atlantic community with Russia, including, of course, Turkey," Ozden Sanberk, a former Turkish ambassador to Britain, said by telephone from Turkey. "There is a change in the paradigm, a change in assessment."

The Muslim oil nations are TRIANGULATING. This is smart. Triangulators do better than absolutists. Barking orders is stupid when dealing with people who can triangulate. Russia isn't part of OPEC but rapidly is becoming the leader of OPEC. Saudi Arabia wants Iran disarmed. But they can't do this and be totally with the EU/US empire because the EU and US want to destroy Islam. Russia and China suppress Islamic rebels very ferociously. But they are not going deep inside the Middle East to do this. A big difference.

The Islamic world can see clearly that US and EU power is fading as both are now over the Hubbert Oil Peak. Europe and the US produce less and less energy compared to previous years. The North Sea fields are in very fast decline. The US offshore fields are constantly in danger of mega-hurricanes. The US has more potential fuel but is extremely wasteful and would have to totally rebuild our entire infrastructure and civilization in order to not be totally dependent upon Middle Eastern or South American oil sources.

The US is acutely unable to cope with this concept. Oil prices are dropping to the $100 a barrel limit OPEC has set. The US hopes to drop it further. It won't happen. This is because the US will simply consume vast quantities of oil again, rapidly. All those SUVs will come back out of the garage again. And the big houses will continue to be built in inappropriate places and public transportation will fade back into nothing again.

Pressure grows on Nicolas Sarkozy for Afghanistan pullout

President Sarkozy's resolve to remain steadfast in Afghanistan was tested yesterday as a poll indicated that a majority of French voters want him to pull troops out after the deaths this week of ten soldiers in a Taleban ambush.

The President inspected the ten coffins and spoke to survivors at a ceremony of tribute on Thursday.

The findings of Le Parisien poll came amid growing debate over France's role in the Nato force in Afghanistan, with Mr Sarkozy being accused of entrenching his country in an unwinnable conflict.

The loss of the servicemen, in what has been described as the French Army's worst day for a quarter of a century, has brought the issue to the centre of public attention almost for the first time.

Sarkozy is an imperialist. He is very concerned about protecting Israel. He wants to use the US nuclear power to expand his own power. At the same time, French people are worried about this latest Napoleonic excess and want their troops home. Afghanistan has now exploded in our faces. Iraq is quiet only because it is now on the road to becoming a hyper-Shi'a state. All is well between Iraq and Iran at last. Thanks to the US intervention.

France wants to be an empire. But can't pay the price. I would suggest they give this project up. If the US can't succeed, certainly the French will also fail. And forget about Germany doing this.

Georgia admits to dropping cluster bombs

A prominent human rights group says Georgia has admitted dropping cluster bombs in its military offensive to assert control over the restive province of South Ossetia. Human Rights Watch says it has received an official letter from Georgia's Defense Ministry that acknowledges use of the M85 cluster munition near the Roki tunnel that connects South Ossetia with Russia.

The M85 is the same weapon that was used extensively by Israel in its 2006 war with Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Israel and the US gets away with multiple war crimes. Serbs are put on trial. Russia sees the obvious racist and ethnic policies at work here. The double standard is aimed only at them, the authors of some of the worst wars and ethnic cleansing get a free ride today, don't they? The US was OK with using cluster bombs on civilians in Lebanon. The Jews supported this crime with all their hearts and minds. The UN was rendered useless. So it is today: useless. So long as Europe and the US are bent on world domination via military might, we will see the UN fade away at last. The US right wing hates the UN. And love empire. They will get their dark wish. Unfortunately, the empires will not be the US and EU that call the shots.

Russia says US may have sent weapons to Georgia

Russia warned the West on Monday against supporting Georgia's leadership, suggesting that the United States carried weapons as well as aid to the ex-Soviet republic and calling for an arms embargo until the Georgian government falls.

The remarks by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his spokesman came as European Union leaders delicately approached their relations with Russia, weighing how to punish Moscow for its invasion of Georgia without isolating the continent's major energy supplier.

The latest Russian rhetoric was likely to anger the United States and Europe and enrage Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili, who has said Russia's goal all along has been to remove him from power.

As this heats up, it is very easy to stop this freight train to WWIII. The US could suddenly suggest WE disarm. We can set an example. Lay down our missiles, defang our military, curb our war spending and put our lying, conniving leaders on trial just like the EU wants to try only leaders supported by Russia. We must show some sincerity here. Handing over Bush to be tried in Iraq would be a great start. I heartily recommend this.

Then we can go back to competing with China for world resources by doing trade, not printing dollars.

It is pretty much official: Europe has unilaterally decided to basically declare economic warfare with their chief energy supplier, Russia. The unelected British Prime Minister admitted the Georgian attacks were so Europe could circumvent Russia with the new oil pipeline that would go to Turkey. Meanwhile, Europe continues to refuse Turkey entry in the European Union. Pure ethnic issues at work here. Nothing was learned from the harsh lessons of WWII. So, we get to hear Putin discuss history and world power politics. He is a most amazing man. Has double the brain power of our crazed emperors.

Russia will not hold us to ransom - Brown

Gordon Brown warns today that the West will not be held to ransom by Russia, threatening a 'root and branch' review of relations with the Kremlin and urgently moving to stop Britain's reliance on Russian oil and gas.

His defiant words in an article in today's Observer, following a 'frank' conversation with the Russian president yesterday, will heighten tensions ahead of tomorrow's meeting of European heads of state called to discuss the crisis in Georgia. The Prime Minister's intervention reflects fears that the territorial conflict over South Ossetia risks spilling into an energy war, with Russia using its vast supplies of oil and gas - on which many European countries depend - to blackmail the West into submission.

'No nation can be allowed to exert an energy stranglehold over Europe,' says Brown. He promises urgent action to prevent Britain 'sleepwalking into an energy dependence on less stable or reliable partners', including seeking out alternative suppliers of gas and oil, as well as pushing ahead with plans for new nuclear plants and alternative fuels.

HAHAHA. The toothless old imperialist lion bellows and roars. But it can't even get to its feet. Lying on the ground, it growls and groans at the Russian bear. The bear can barely suppress its own mirth. Right on the heels of the North Sea energy systems collapsing rapidly, NOW England is going elsewhere for fuel?

Iraq! That's the ticket. Except bankrupt England can't outbid the wealthy Chinese communists. They are buying up the systems in Iraq. Iraq was forced to sell some of its oil reserves to American, European and British invader's oil consortiums. All of which are far, far, FAR worse than Russia. These pirates will strip England, Europe and America of every pfenning of wealth and unlike Russia, not give it to the People of a sovereign nation. These international energy consortiums have tremendous power in the West. Note how McCain chose as a running mate a woman in their pay!

The US is ruled ruthlessly by a pair of oil buddies from Texas and Wyoming. Bush and Cheney have grossly enriched themselves and their friends and colleagues in the oil industries. Fabulous wealth has poured into the coffers of these killers. The audacious move to take over OPEC via military force nearly succeeded. Once the oil consortiums took over Iraq and then Iran, the weight of power over OPEC would have fallen into the greedy hands of these international pirates. Who work in consortium with international banking families who are very eager to control the flow of wealth going to Muslims.

They are on a classic 'Horns of Dilemma'. They dearly want to get filthy rich milking the population of the earth who depend on energy systems for survival. They want very high oil prices so they can get rich. But they don't want Muslims or Russians to benefit from all this. They don't want too high prices, either, or the people of the planet might wise up and kill them. Palaces will be stormed by enraged masses just like in 1917 and onwards! And the fear is, these masses now know where the money is flowing and who to attack.

This is why ethnic cleansing is the preferred European imperial weapon. Throughout history, the rulers of Europe allowed this in order to distract the mobs from THEM. Britain, for example, wants Russia to be passive while England encourages, funds and assists ethnic cleansing in Georgia. Then uses Russia's response to this provocation to declare economic war on Russia. The plan is to still get the high energy profits for the major corporations that pay Brown and Blair to fight for them, not England. England gets exactly NO benefits from all this.

The price of energy is climbing. Normally, this means the buyers of energy try hard to please the sellers so the price goes down. Declaring war on the sellers works ONLY if the seller has been totally disarmed by the corrupt United Nations. But Russia not only sits on the Security Council, Russia is allied with another great power on this council: CHINA. And China is a customer for oil just like England. Only China is being NICE to Russia....and Venezuela....and Saudi Arabia....and Iran....and all of OPEC. China has been reaping the harvest of this diplomatic and social niceness.

The leaders of the major oil pumping nations are HAPPY when Hu and Wen fly into their lands to make more deals. The Chinese come armed with contracts to sign and offers of all sorts of assistance. They made a historic conquest last year when they got a firm alliance going with Russia. From that moment onwards, the chances of Europe and America, huge energy consumers, of trapping and then hammering Russia vanished.

The gambit of using ethnic cleansing to seize a historic hunk of the Russian Empire will now fail. Utterly. China isn't endorsing the IDEA of ethnic fissures but they are definitely on Russia's side in re-absorbing Georgia. Georgia is like Tibet in this regard. Commentators in the West totally misunderstand the innermost thinking in the minds of the Chinese. They are building the New World Order. And this means clipping US and EU wings. And they want to set up the concept of a working empire which is at odds with the US and EU pretenses of NOT building empires while building empires. This faux democracy front is so fake, we are rapidly losing all concept of democracy in the West at this point as both Europe and the US turn rapidly into Stalinist police states.

The Guardian:

The Prime Minister argues for more funding to build a pipeline from the Caspian Sea carrying gas through Turkey to the West, avoiding the traditional route through Russia and its satellites. Analysts had speculated that the Nabucco pipeline project would be jeopardised by the invasion of Georgia.

Nabucco:

Music historians have long perpetuated a powerful myth about the famous Va, pensiero chorus sung in the third act by the Hebrew slaves. Scholars have long believed the audience, responding with nationalistic fervor to the slaves' powerful hymn of longing for their homeland, demanded an encore of the piece. Naming a pipeline set up to feed Israel and Europe energy from deep inside of what was once the Russian Empire 'Nabucco' is...GOOD GODS! TALK ABOUT INSANE! This has all the indicators of the Apocalypse! This opera is all about how Jewish slaves overthrew the Persian empire. In Jewish history, all sorts of tiny disorders have been elevated into major victories of the Jews who are always slaves when they migrate into someone's country! When they left Egypt, they actually ROBBED their neighbors first and then fled into the Sinai. Where they then killed each other and then regrouped do they could assault Palestine.

The very name is a provocation. The fact that this is possibly going to trigger a massive global war between Europe and the US and Russia and China is even more reason to oppose this pipeline under present conditions. The irresponsibly hot talk from the West is so like Hitler, it isn't funny anymore. I am horrified.

Bush quietly seeks to make war powers permanent, by declaring indefinite state of war

As the nation focuses on Sen. John McCain's choice of running mate, President Bush has quietly moved to expand the reach of presidential power by ensuring that America remains in a state of permanent war.

Buried in a recent proposal by the Administration is a sentence that has received scant attention -- and was buried itself in the very newspaper that exposed it Saturday. It is an affirmation that the United States remains at war with al Qaeda, the Taliban and "associated organizations."

Part of a proposal for Guantanamo Bay legal detainees, the provision before Congress seeks to “acknowledge again and explicitly that this nation remains engaged in an armed conflict with Al Qaeda, the Taliban, and associated organizations, who have already proclaimed themselves at war with us and who are dedicated to the slaughter of Americans.”

Let's all thank AIPAC for this piece of garbage. Mission accomplished. If the US thinks it can become eternally rich with eternal war with all the Persian Empires out there, this is pure madness. The Jewish financiers funding AIPAC are very powerful and note how they slip into law all sorts of mischief they hope the war-weary US will ignore. This legislation was not trumpeted by our putative representatives in Congress. Bush will sign it silently. The fact is, the media which is mostly owned by outright Zionists, won't make an issue about this matter.

This is why Obama has gained some ground in his attempt at the Presidency. He bowed to AIPAC and the media relented on him. Right now, antiwar demonstrators in Minnesota are being arrested and harassed by the paramilitary skinhead troopers who are treating us like Iraqis. The ruling elites are warmongers. They deluge the US public with bloodthirsty rhetoric while at the same time, protecting the emperor as he denies Americans essential services.

The Katrina Redux is to be proof that the media and our real rulers actually love us. They actually said, they will protect us...THIS TIME AROUND. Only Gustav is messing with their plans of destroying Russian power. If our oil rigs are destroyed, the bluster aimed at Iran and Russia is destroyed. So our rulers are chewing their claws to a nub with worry.

The Conflict We Chose

The United States has relatively very little in the way of commercial relations with Russia, and therefore there are not powerful business interests here to counteract those whose primary goal is the projection of imperial power, or making money from arms sales. The Republican presidential candidate, Senator John McCain, has been consistently bellicose towards Russia and had previously - long before the current military conflict -- called for expelling Russia from the G-8.

Eventually, our foreign policy establishment will have to adjust to the realities of the 21st century, in which Washington cannot simply tell the rest of the world what to do. They will learn to accept a multi-polar world where diplomacy, international law, and negotiations play a much larger role and military force and threats are much less significant. The question, as always, is how much Americans and the world will lose in blood and treasure before that happens.

In the meantime, the media coverage of this latest conflict shows how far we have to go before common sense can prevail. Appearing on Meet the Press on the Sunday following the eruption of armed conflict, David Broder, a Washington Post columnist who is the embodiment of inside-the-beltway conventional wisdom, said that this was "particularly a moment where John McCain can claim to have been prescient, because . . . he draws a very sharp line when it comes to Russia. ."

It won't be a 'multipolar world' in ten years. It will be unipolar. Europe can't exist as a confounded confederation of ethnic and religious groups that hate each other so much, the Walloons and the Belgians can't even agree on a government in a country not even the size of New Jersey? No 'nation' in the European confederation is even remotely as large as either Alaska or Texas. The only reason the European confederation can exist is because it, like Japan and England, is piggy-back riding the US military. If the US goes bankrupt or descends into open civil war, this vanishes. All empires, when they fail economically, fail politically.

What is at stake here is exactly how much 'blood and treasure' we might lose. If we start WWIII, we lose everything, totally. This totality is to be greatly feared. I knew the minute Reagan embraced the Star Wars concept, we would toy with the notion of holding the entire planet hostage to our new Pax Romana. We would then use this as a tool to rob people of their resources. And to defy the planet when we screw up.

The days of doing this with impunity ended with our unsuccessful invasion of Iraq. It is not far in the future when the US ends its 100 year war with Iraq and is booted out just like the Brits before us. The new Iraq/Iran confederation will be stronger than the European confederation. For the Iraqi majority population will be in total linguistic and religious harmony with the majority of Iranians!

CNN interview with Vladimir Putin

Matthew Chance: Many people around the world, even though you're not the president of Russia anymore, see you as the main decision maker in this country. Wasn't you that ordered Russian forces into Georgia and you who should take responsibility for the consequences?

Vladimir Putin: Of course, that's not the case. In accordance with the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the issues of foreign policy and defense are fully in the hands of the president. The president of the Russian Federation was acting within his powers.

As is known, yours truly was at that time at the opening of the Olympic Games in Beijing. This alone made it impossible for me to take part in preparing that decision, although of course, President Medvedev was aware of my opinion on that issue. I'll be frank with you, and actually there is no secret about it, we had of course considered all the possible scenarios of events, including direct aggression by the Georgian leadership.

We had to think beforehand about how to provide for the security of our peace-keepers and of the citizens of the Russian Federation who are residents of South Ossetia. But, I repeat, such a decision could only be taken by the president of the Russian Federation, the commander in chief of the armed forces, Mr. Medvedev. It's his decision.

Comparing Putin's frank and honest talk with the lies our own politicians tell: sigh. Our politicians have this huge hole in the conversation they dare not enter: Jewish domination of all levels of US foreign policy. Recently, a very kind reader of Culture of Life News sent me an interesting book, 'The Limits of Power' by Andrew J. Bacevich. This book sounds totally reasonable, totally smart until someone like me reads it.

It should be renamed, 'The UNLIMITED Power'. For during and entire book talking endlessly about every nation on earth and its relations to the US and history, only ONE nation is NEVER mentioned except very obliquely just one time only: Israel! Mr. Bacevich is a member of the New World Order organization, the Council of Foreign Relations. This is the stew pot for all the stupid people who have worked tirelessly to destroy the US as an economic and political power. Mr. Bacevich is upset that his 28 year old son was blown up while he was trying to suppress the Iraqi freedom fighters.

This tool of the Real Rulers did a fabulous job of NOT telling the truth about ANYTHING while sounding totally sane and utterly honest. This level of dishonesty is typical of all the guys paid by the rulers to deflect or destroy our ability to see the truth. The truth is connected to the Apocalypse and is attached to the very same spot where King David, according to Jewish legends, stopped the Angel of Death on the threshing floor of a non-Jewish man who happened to live where Jerusalem was built. This threshing floor actually was the habitation of the Goddess of the Moon.

The occult nature of 'magic' comes from the ability to be totally visible while being invisible. The Ring of Power of Tolkien captured this concept nearly perfectly. To be able to rule but not be seen is the height of power. Note the invisible gods excel in this dark art. The nature of what assails us and what is driving us relentlessly into the Apocalypse is the gravest danger facing all humanity. In the mainstream, we hear about 'born again' Christians and McCain chose an oil-soaked believer in the Apocalypse as a running mate: she is a perfect Whore of Babylon on absolutely every level.

Back to Putin: he discusses the complex history of the southern borders of the Russian Empire with great clarity. Earlier, in Europe, he reminded everyone about Catherine the Great, the Prussian Princess. He has been patiently explaining history to everyone who listens. In the West, this is virtually no one. In China, the leadership gave him a very careful hearing and are now acting on this information. The agreement between both empires is an understanding of history, necessity and power. The Chinese are very attuned to power flows and the concept of invisible power while wielding god-like powers was embodied in Mao so they are very aware of this force.

CNN and Putin:

But I would like to recall that all these state entities, each in its own time, voluntarily integrated into the Russian Empire. Back in the mid-18th century, in 1745-1747, Ossetia was the first to become part of the Russian Empire. At that time, it was a united entity; North and South Ossetia were one state.

In 1801, if my memory serves me, Georgia itself, which was under some pressure from the Ottoman Empire, voluntarily became part of the Russian Empire.

It was only 12 years later, in 1812, that Abkhazia became part of the Russian Empire. Until that time, it had remained an independent state, an independent principality.

It was only in the mid-19th century that the decision was taken to incorporate South Ossetia into the Tiflis province. Within a common state, the matter was regarded as not very important. But I can assure you that subsequent years showed that the Ossetians did not much like it. However, de facto they were put by the tsar's central government under the jurisdiction of what is now Georgia.

When, after World War I, the Russian Empire broke up, Georgia declared its own state while Ossetia opted for staying within Russia; this happened right after the events of 1917.

In 1918, as a result of this, Georgia conducted a rather brutal punitive operation there, and in 1921, it repeated it.

When the Soviet Union was formed, these territories, by Stalin's decision, were definitively given to Georgia. As you know, Stalin was ethnically Georgian.

Therefore, those who insist that those territories must continue to belong to Georgia are Stalinists: They defend the decision of Josef Vissarionovich Stalin.

Putin wants to educate us. We want to be stupid. Stupid Presidential candidates always fare better than smart ones. We want to be led by the Common Man even if it is a series of very spoiled brats of one particular political clan, for example. All the political clans run on and on like the Rockerfellers, the Kennedys, the Bushes or the Clintons, just for a very few examples. There are many such. Udalls, Reagans, Cuomos, etc, etc just off the top of my head. They all talk 'stoopid.' They dare not talk like elites. This is why the total outsider, Obama, was accused by the media talking head liars, as an 'elitist'.

Obama is a tool of the elites. But he is a total outsider and he troubles them. What if he goes against their orders? This means a very messy assassination or impeachment over some trivial matter. Bush can get away with repeated gross negligence, outright criminal conspiracy and many Constitutional offenses big and small and 'impeachment is off the table'. But then, the ruling elites used the anthrax assassin as well as enabling the 9/11 assassins so letting the dark, invisible Ring of Power to deal with difficulties is pretty obvious. Obama signed his death warrant by choosing Biden who is 100% ruling elite as a running mate.

Of course, McCain and his Apocalyptic witch are in harmony: both want to have a Final Confrontation and Conflagration. I guess McCain thinks, he has a choice of which house to hide in when the bombs destroy the rest of this nation.

Putin:

Matthew Chance: The raw as you've mentioned areas of cooperation still between the United States and Russia, particularly for instance over the issue of Iran's very controversial nuclear program.

Are you suggesting that you may withdraw your cooperation with the United Nations in tackling that problem from the United States if the diplomatic pressure were to be ruptured up between Russian and the West?

Vladimir Putin: Russia has been working very consistently and in good faith with its partners on all problems, those that I've mentioned and those that you added. We do so not because someone asks us and we want to look good to them. We are doing it because this is consistent with our national interests, because in these areas, our national interests coincide with those of many European countries and of the United States. If no one wants to talk to us about these problems and cooperation with Russia becomes unnecessary, God bless, do this work yourself.

Matthew Chance: And what about the issue of energy supply, because obviously European countries in particular are increasingly dependent on Russian gas and on Russian oil. Would Russia ever use the supply of energy to western Europe as a leaver to apply pressure should the diplomatic tensions be ratcheted up?

Vladimir Putin: We have never done it. Construction of the first gas pipeline system was started during the 1960s, at the height of the Cold War, and for all those years, from the 1960s until this day, Russia has been fulfilling its contract obligations in a very consistent and reliable way, regardless of the political situation.

We never politicize economic relations, and we are quite astonished at the position of some U.S. administration officials who travel to European capitals trying to persuade the Europeans not to buy our products, natural gas for example, in a truly amazing effort to politicize the economic sphere. In fact, it's quite pernicious.

It's true that the Europeans depend on our supplies but we too depend on whoever buys our gas. That's interdependence; that's precisely the guarantee of stability.

The US still wants Russia to do our bidding. And Putin is basically and diplomatically tellling us to jump in a lake or go to hell or both. The US and Europe, while preparing for a confrontation over Iran, are trying desperately to find some solution to their energy problems. They know the Middle East will be in flames. The hope is, the US will assist Israel in destroying all military power in Iran. The attempt to disarm Iran has floundered in the UN and is, as of today, totally dead. Neither Russia nor China are even slightly interested in this process anymore.

The US whining about the Olympics has united the Chinese against the West. Patriotism is flowering there due to Western attempts at destroying China, upending their government and driving wedges between ethnic and religious groups in China. This failure has epic repercussions! The US thinks this is a game. For the Chinese, it is survival. Since they are serious and we are addle-brained, they will resolutely follow their own chosen path which is all about clipping our economic wings so we can't wage endless wars. Pax China will rise like a Phoenix in Asia. This is History. We can't stop the Wheel of History anymore than we can persuade the Furies to ignore hubris or the Norns, fate.

Europe doesn't want to buy things from Russia. They want to LOOT Russia. Europe and American don't want to buy things from China. They want to ENSLAVE the hardy Chinese workers. Far from being all about peace and freedom, the real goals of the West as is the secret desires of the rulers is to ENSLAVE AND LOOT. Europe did this with total impunity from 1600 to 2000 AD. The idea that this is over and done with and now in reverse is hard to accept. Europe and the US want desperately to believe that the magic Ring of Power which is nuclear bombs will allow the loot and enslave business to continue....this is pure Nabucco madness.

Russia: Iran N-plant operational in '08

Iran's first Russian-built nuclear power plant in the southern city of Bushehr will become operational by the end of 2008, Moscow says.

"Russia is seriously committed to completing and running Bushehr power plant in the shortest possible time," Russia's ambassador to Tehran, Alexander Sadovnikov, said Saturday.

Russia began the delivery of 82 tons of nuclear fuel to Bushehr in late 2007, giving rise to speculation that the Iranian power plant would become operational earlier in 2008.

According to the Russian envoy, the delays have been caused by 'sanctions imposed by Western powers'.

Russia is moving very fast now that the game has moved from diplomacy to open warfare. The Russians hoped the latest US elections would be all about peace, not more wars. But I noted long ago, the media owners want war and they use their own Ring of Power that keeps them cloaked in invisibility so they can manipulate the masses into wanting only pro-war candidates. So we have both vying for the crown of Evil Warlord rather than Sane Diplomat. And if Obama does play Sane Diplomat, he will be eliminated totally and with harsh prejudice. The Praetorian Guard will either let down their guard or he will be invited to go to Texas to give a speech for 'unity'. Even if he avoids open cars and crowds, it is laughably easy to eliminate him. And I would suggest, he is smart enough to know this.

China Dumps US Dollar Denominated Debt: Bank of China flees Fannie-Freddie

Bank of China has cut its portfolio of securities issued or guaranteed by troubled US mortgage financiers Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac by a quarter since the end of June.

The sale by China’s fourth largest commercial bank, which reduced its holdings of so-called agency debt by $4.6bn, is a sign of nervousness among foreign buyers of Fannie and Freddie’s bonds and guaranteed securities.over the mortgage financiers’ capital positions and the timing and structure of a potential government rescue has made some investors reassess their exposures. Asian investors in particular have become net sellers of agency debt, said analysts.

Federal Reserve custody data shows that for the year to July, foreign official and private investors bought an average of $20bn of agency debt a month, including debt issued by other government agencies such as Ginnie Mae and the Federal Home Loan Banks. Purchases of US Treasuries averaged $9.25bn.

From July 16 to August 20, foreign investors sold $14.7bn of agency debt, trimming their overall holdings to $972bn. They purchased $71.1bn of Treasuries in the same period.

Our days of whine and bozos is ending. The Chinese 'be bank' and is pulling our credit line. Right in time for hurricanes to hammer us again. We can't beg them for more money. The very inflationary stimulus package dampened American fears of finances but fueled inflation. The temporary drop in oil prices has fooled everyone into thinking this would lead back to the wonderland of $10 a barrel oil of the Clinton years.

This is not going to happen. Russia was weak back then and being looted by Europe. Today, it is one of the greatest powers on earth with the new alliance with China which was weak back in 1992. Today, it is a giant that straddles all of Asia and is now flexing its muscles. China doesn't need us anymore. They can rule the world without us. And luckily, they know about the Apocalypse because some of them lived with me. They know that this worries me more than anything. They want PEACE, not TOTAL WAR. And if we are fortunate, they will dictate peace terms to us before we blow up the entire planet.

To avoid all this, all we have to do is disarm. Like we want the Iranians to do. We can also beg Russia and China to disarm. This would be Heaven, not Hell. Which takes me back to the innermost reality of the Outer Darkness: when lightning strikes, the positive and negative polarity is united. Up is down and in is out and everything is nothing and one either dies or is reborn! We are nearing such a state.

Obama is elevated on a magic number day of some significance. The media is just ROARING with propaganda aimed at Russia and China. We see clearly the naked fear of the foolish debtor nations of England and the US, trying to intimidate the combined financial powers of Russia and super-giant creditor nation, China. Iran, Israel and a host of smaller nations are riding this firestorm looking out for themselves. As is normal. But the US wants to see the world as good and evil and not as a conglomeration of self-interested nations seeking advantages! Looks like Europe is egging Russia into retaliating by cutting off all energy to Europe. Oil will SHOOT UP if this happens. Ditto, gold. WWIII, here we come.

Fly's brain 'senses swat threat'

Researchers in the US say that they have solved the mystery of why flies are so hard to swat.

They think the fly's ability to dodge being hit is due to its fast acting brain and an ability to plan ahead.
High speed, high resolution video recordings revealed the insects quickly work out where a threat is coming from and prepare an escape route.

The research suggests that the best way of swatting a fly is to creep up slowly and aim ahead of its location.

Flies put their bodies into pre-flight mode very rapidly - Within 100 milliseconds of spotting the swatter they can position their centre of mass in the right way so that a simple extension of their legs propels them away from any threat.

The scientists found that flies were able to put themselves into this rapid reaction position no matter whether they were grooming, feeding or simply walking.

Flies are obvious smarter than the host of US political classes, the neo cons, the many warmongering media owners, the warmongering US candidates for President: all seem to be able to react to a fly swatter by jumping to it rather than away from it! The deft fly is in stark contrast to the predictable flight pattern of the US political fly. These flies buzz about one's face and are hard to swat away. But if you turn on a blue-light in Russia or China, these flies zip right over and get zapped.

Maybe if they were to merge with a fly like in the movie, The Fly, and have a fly's brain, they might improve their survivability somewhat? Until the Chinese manufacture a giant flyswatter.

Russia may cut off oil flow to the West

Fears are mounting that Russia may restrict oil deliveries to Western Europe over coming days, in response to the threat of EU sanctions and Nato naval actions in the Black Sea.

Any such move would be a dramatic escalation of the Georgia crisis and play havoc with the oil markets.

Reports have begun to circulate in Moscow that Russian oil companies are under orders from the Kremlin to prepare for a supply cut to Germany and Poland through the Druzhba (Friendship) pipeline. It is believed that executives from lead-producer LUKoil have been put on weekend alert.

"They have been told to be ready to cut off supplies as soon as Monday," claimed a high-level business source, speaking to The Daily Telegraph. Any move would be timed to coincide with an emergency EU summit in Brussels, where possible sanctions against Russia are on the agenda.

OK: the EU, UK and US have a huge embargo on Iran and Cuba. Next: Russia. How about China, while we are at it? Indeed, why not boycott much of the third world, too? If we engineer a boycott of China, they will engineer not only a boycott of the G7 West by all their many allies across the planet, they and Russia can also dump trillions of dollars onto global currency markets. Whoo hoo. $500 a barrel oil, here we come!

I am betting this is all just a bunch of people with brains somewhat less responsive to danger than fly brains. They think this way: 'We are collectively the world's biggest empire! We have ruled the earth for 500 years. We are the Ruling Elites of the New World Order! We can command all those stupid people in Russia and China to obey our imperial edicts! HAHAHA. Hey, let's do another sneak attack on Russia like we did so often in the past? HAHAHA. Moscow, here we come! It is only September, after all! We will make it to Moscow by November!'

At this point, some grizzled, old Europeans should wake up from their slumber to remind everyone the stupidity of even talking about this. Europe has lived so long under the US nuclear umbrella, they have forgotten important lessons in life. One is, the nation which one menaces must be weak if one wishes to push them around. Russia emphatically is NOT in this category. Also, wishful thinking is stupid if a huge flyswatter's shadow is right overhead.

Europe can't go to Iran for energy if Russia cuts off Europe. They can't demand the US supply them with fuel. The US is already deep in debt over fuel imports. Indeed, the central banks of the G7 have just moved heaven and hell to strengthen the dying dollar so they can resume the status quo of them exporting to the US much more than the US can export to them. Today, the news boasts about how we have increased exports. But that is OVER now.

The US is trying hysterically to project power on Russia and this is causing Russia to smash Europe to smithereens. Europe could have courted Russia but the reflexes there over the last 500 years has been to defy and be-bother the Russians. Even when alliances are made like the ones during the Napoleonic wars, the allies of Russia would surrender to Napoleon after just one or two battles while leaving the Russian army totally alone and exposed to the united forces of France and its new allies, former allies of Russia!

Each time, Russia had to run away, fast. Then Napoleon and all of Russia's former allies turned on Russia and invaded. This led to the total destruction of Napoleon's Grande Armee and the end of his rule in Europe. Russia knows this history. This makes them very touchy. Russia never surrenders, they retreat. Europe has no where to retreat. So these people must be very careful not to start WWIII. Europe started WWI and WWII. Now, will they want WWIII? One wonders about the sanity of the leaders of Europe. Flies are smarter.

Such action would be seen as economic warfare but Russia has been infuriated by Nato meddling in its "backyard" and threats of punitive measures by the EU. Foreign minister Sergei Lavrov yesterday accused EU diplomats of a "sick imagination".

Da, this is Pravda. Russia has little to fear. If the US, EU and UK all want to terminate all trade with Russia, fine, says the Bear. The Bear knows that the World Trade Organization is about as popular as spiders in a jar of flies. They know that the third world will applaud them defying the Flat Earth society of the New World Order G7. The G7 central bankers spend most of last year, berating China about China's banking system and monetary policies before shutting up when the entire banking system of the G7 went under the red ink waters and drowned. Now, sans a working banking system, the G7 nations want economic war with a huge hunk of the world. A hunk that has a huge nuclear arsenal.

Security Group Refuses to Back Russia’s Actions

Russia suffered a significant setback here on Thursday, as members of a regional security group in which the Kremlin plays an important role offered little support for Moscow’s military action in Georgia.

Dmitri A. Medvedev, the Russian president, came to this Central Asian capital for the annual summit meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, or S.C.O., with the hopes that the six-member group would provide the strong international backing the Kremlin has so far lacked after its incursion into Georgia. Russia has urged other nations to follow its lead and recognize Georgia’s breakaway regions of South Ossetia and Abkhazia as independent states.

Instead, the Shanghai organization, which also includes China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, took a neutral stance, urging Russia and Georgia to resolve their differences peacefully.

“The S.C.O. states express grave concern in connection with the recent tensions around the South Ossetia issue and urge the sides to solve existing problems peacefully, through dialogue, and to make efforts facilitating reconciliation and talks,” the summit meeting’s final joint declaration said.

The media in the G7 nations is hilarious. It won't understand what Russia and China are doing. China doesn't have to be belligerent like the US or UK, for example. China is doing the 'good cop' to Russia's 'bad bear cop.' Russia growls and China sighs and says, 'We must resolve this peacefully and I will be very happy to do this for you guys, hahaha.'

China LOVES diplomacy. Without shooting off either their mouths or their guns, they get far more bank for their diplomatic bucks than the G7 gets for their bluster and fury coupled with demands for money, energy supplies and cheap manufactured goods. China is very delighted to be able to call upon the US to be peaceful and NOT go to war all the time. Got that? HAHAHA again. This is so dumb. China stands on the world stage, the guarantor of peace and prosperity while the US squares off with Russia, trying to start WWIII. So who wins this round? NOT THE US.

The warmongers at the NYT:

The Shanghai organization’s leaders did endorse an aspect of Russia’s involvement in the Caucasus, saying it approved of “the active role of Russia in assisting in peace and cooperation in the region.” However, it also underscored the importance of territorial integrity — a statement that could be applied to Georgia’s struggle with its breakaway regions.

HAHAHA. Um, hey! I recall that even in most of my lifetime, Georgia was PART OF RUSSIA! And China didn't make it clear that Georgia was a separate state. They did say that we should use diplomacy and respect spheres of influence. China is very annoyed with the US trying to split up China and also trying to ring both Russia and China with hostile military forces. The Chinese are not endorsing the US Pax system.

Now, let's go to China for the real news. Unlike the propagandists in the West, China cheerfully let us see the actual agreements and proclamations from this Shanghai summit:

Chinese president makes proposal on regional peace, common prosperity among SCO members

(Xinhua) -- Chinese President Hu Jintao, in a keynote speech Thursday at the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Tajik capital Dushanbe, made a five-point proposal for joint efforts to develop lasting peace, common prosperity and regional harmony.

STRENGTHENING STRATEGIC CONSULTATION AND POLITICAL MUTUAL TRUST

Efforts should be made to promote mutual support on important issues concerning security and development of member nations in keeping with the SCO Charter and the Treaty on Long-term Good-neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation, Hu said.

SCO members should make full use of the mechanisms of the Council of Foreign Ministers and the Council of National Coordinators in boosting strategic consultations on vital and sensitive issues that affect the security, stability and development of the member nations and the region, he said.

DEVELOPMENT OF CLOSER SECURITY COOPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF REGIONAL PEACE

The Chinese president praised the effective cooperation by SCO members on security during the Beijing Olympics and called for continuous cooperation in this regard for similar events to be hosted by the member nations in the future.

Efforts should be made to develop and deepen the various meeting mechanisms such as meetings of Secretaries of Security Councils, Ministers of Defence, Heads of Supreme Courts and Prosecutors General, which have played an important role in safeguarding peace and stability in the region, Hu said.

He called for deepened cooperation among SCO member nations in arresting members of the "three evil forces" (terrorism, separatism and extremism) and criminals involved in other organized transnational crimes such as drug trafficking.

The president also proposed that SCO member nations make joint anti-terror maneuvers a mechanism, and fully implement the anti-drug agreement and the action plan on ensuring international information security.

　　DEEPENING ECONOMIC COOPERATION, AND REALIZING A MUTUALLY BENEFICIAL AND ALL-WIN SITUATION

Noting the advantages of the SCO in fending off impacts from world economic turbulences as its members include major economies, big food and energy producers as well as huge markets, Hu urged SCO members to make effective use of such advantages, continue efforts to facilitate easy flow of trade and investment, continue to select and implement new model projects in transportation, energy and communication, and to enhance financial and agricultural cooperation.

He expressed the hope that SCO members would implement the agreements on customs mutual assistance and strengthen cooperation in customs supervision and personnel training.

The Chinese president pledged credit support on a larger scale to fellow SCO members, saying China, as a responsible partner, will continue consultation with relevant countries in selecting projects and provide the credits it has promised.

PROMOTING HUMANITARIAN COOPERATION AND ESTABLISHING LINKS OF FRIENDSHIP

Hu said efforts should be made to boost the cooperation among SCO member countries in culture, education, science and technology, sports and tourism, and to promote academic exchanges and exchanges among the young people.

The president called for strengthened cooperation in disaster prevention and relief within the organization, as natural disasters hit the region from time to time, and called for the establishment of a disaster relief center for the organization.

With serious epidemic diseases becoming new threats to the world, Hu said, cooperation among SCO members should be strengthened in the prevention and control of epidemics, transnational medical services, coordination in dealing with public health emergencies, traditional medicine and personnel training.

IMPLEMENTING PRINCIPLE OF OPENING UP AND JOINTLY STRIVING FOR REGIONAL HARMONY

The president noted that it has been a keystone in the SCO's external affairs in recent years to conduct practical cooperation with its observers.

He said China suggests closer cooperation between the organization and its observers, and inviting the observers to participate in inter-departmental cooperation in fields like security, economy and trade, energy, transportation, customs and culture.

China highly evaluates the regulations on the dialogue partnership to be approved by the SCO, and welcomes relevant countries and international organizations, through the dialogue partnership platform, to join efforts with the SCO to promote stability and development in the region.

Sounds like the UN! Sounds...reasonable. When we compare this with the howls from the G-7 powers, it is mild and careful. But behind all this is a strong message: the Shanghai group is consolidating power inside itself. It is a stronger and stronger organization as the US and Europe weakens. It is interested in securing each other's borders. And not one iota of this is from the Europeans or Americans. The G7 nations don't respect borders. They recognized Kosovo in the teeth of disapproval of the entire Shanghai organization. NATO wants to expand and doesn't care if this conflicts with the other nations. To hell with them, sneers Europe and America!

Well, this 'My NATO way or the highway' ideology is very nasty and is totally in the wrong. And the Shanghai proclamation makes this pretty clear. China, unlike the US, doesn't need to bluster. They know they have a firm grip on the economic neck of the US. They are being actually rather kind to us. If we imagine this is a green light to attack Russia, well.....History makes this very clear: many a delusional dictator or hysterical nation has thought this same thing. And ended up dead.

Xinhua News in China: SCO leaders say no int'l problems can be solved by merely using force

DUSHANBE, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) -- Top leaders of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) agreed Thursday that any attempt to solve problems by merely resorting to force could not work and would only hinder a comprehensive settlement of local conflicts.

A comprehensive solution to existing problems can be found only by taking into account the interests of all parties involved and including them all in the negotiation process rather than isolating any of them, said the leaders in a joint declaration issued at the conclusion of their summit in the Tajik capital.

OK: this is the Chinese summary. Do NOT isolate Russia. Cooperate with Russia. Negotiate with Russia. This didn't displease the Russians at all, by the way. They could turn around and snarl at Europe but note they are not going to war, they are merely telling Europe very curtly, any cessation in commerce will involve the cutting of all energy systems. Simple enough. Europe can ask China to negotiate a peace just like Japan and South Korea ended up asking China to negotiate with North Korea. The US can't negotiate anything anymore because we are stupider than flies.

Ahmadinejad lauds Shanghai pact and Iran’s determining role

TEHRAN – President Mahmud Ahmadinejad on Sunday called the Shanghai Cooperation Organization a very important regional and international bloc and said Iran plays a determining role in international developments in its interaction with other countries.

Iran’s participation in the conference at this juncture that the world is “undergoing major changes is very important,” Ahmadinejad told reporters upon his departure for the SCO summit in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.

He expressed hope that the talks in the summit will lead to “useful and expected results for member states, region, and international community.”

The president will hold talks with some summiteers on the sidelines of the conference. “In these meetings bilateral subjects, regional issues and the current situation of world will be reviewed.”

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is an intergovernmental international organization founded in Shanghai on 15 June 2001 by six countries, China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Its member states cover an area of about three fifths of Eurasia, with a population of 1.455 billion. Its working languages are Chinese and Russian.

Ahmadinejad called the SCO a very important regional pact which is speedily finding its place in the region and the world.

“The domain of the cooperation between these countries in economic, political fields is expanding,” the Iranian president explained.

Oh to be a fly on the wall at these meetings between Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq and Russia! With the Chinese dragon lounging on its golden throne, sharpening its claws with a file. The cat purrs as it rubs against fellow Shi'as, 'Meow, we will win the war with the Infidels!' The bear rolls its eyes.

Israel unlikely to berate Russia

As the US and Russia sent military vessels to dock at different Georgian ports on Wednesday, Israel continued to tread carefully, issuing no statement regarding Russia's recognition of the breakaway Georgian provinces and - in an apparent show of balance - is planning to send humanitarian aid not only to Georgia, but to North Ossetia as well.

Anatoly Yurkov, the charge d'affaires at Russia's embassy in Tel Aviv, told The Jerusalem Post in an interview that Moscow appreciated the balanced position Israel had taken throughout the crisis, as well as its "low profile."

A first meeting was held in the Foreign Ministry on Wednesday to discuss Russia's recognition a day earlier of the breakaway republics of South Ossetia and Abkhazia. The Post has learned that while Israel would most likely decide to continue to recognize Georgia's "territorial integrity," it was unlikely to join the chorus of condemnations of Russia coming from the US, Germany and Britain. It would also certainly not recognize the breakaway republics.

HAHAHA. Back pedal time! Israel is NOT bellowing at Russia. Israel looks after its own needs and affairs. Too bad, Israel won't let us do this. Nope. We have to do what they want. They will TRIANGULATE. All nations do this! This is normal. The US should be doing this with Israel but instead, all our politicians swear fealty to Israel while Israel doesn't swear the slightest fealty to the US. Some ally. Very similar to Japan, by the way. Japan ran off to have a secret meeting with China last fall when the yen suddenly become very strong against the dollar. After this meeting, the yen weakened again and not once has Japan joined the other G7 yapping puppies barking at China about the value of the yuan.

Joe Biden: Russia, China, India: "The Real War"

Obama's running mate presents the strategic plan for the next administration

On Aug 27 2008 at the Democratic Convention in Denver, Vice-presidential candidate Sen. Joseph Biden presented the plan for the real war, the war against China, Russia. He repeated the key points pushed by Zbigniew Brzezinski in his obsessive determination to go to the final clash with Russia and Asia.

For Biden, The greates mistake of the Bush administration was its failure "to face the biggest forces shaping this century. The emergence of Russia, China and India's great powers".

What was the "consequence of this neglect"? "Russia challenging… Georgia's freedom." The Obama-Biden administration will repair those criminal mistakes... Barack and I will end that neglect. We will hold Russia accountable."

The wars of the Bush administration were, so to speak the wrong ones.

The new administration will unchain the real war. The war to confront the emergence of Russia, China, India.

The war, the real war will have to be waged in Afghanistan/Pakistan - exactly the area where it will be more disruptive for the feared Russia, China India challenge.

The previous administration was not warmonger enough, according to Biden. The new Democratic administration will increase the number of troops sent in central Asia.

Fools come in many stripes. The GOP has no armlock on stupidity. The DNC is pure New World Order. Americans will troop to Denver Stadium to cheer a bright future. Only it is no future. It is the past. And the past is dead, I say. No one wants to recognize this. The US cannot menace Russia. Russia owns us. Russia owns a hunk of Europe. And China owns everyone. Zbigniew Brzezinski is Polish. He wants Russia reduced to serf status. Poor, weak and helpless so Poland can strut and fret and feel powerful. This is stupid. Poland always gets run over by Russia whenever European leaders do sneak attacks on Russia. So Poland should be playing nice with Russia, not egging on yet another world war.

LONDON: Miliband says "no question" of war with Russia

(Reuters) - There is no question of launching "all-out war" against Russia, Foreign Secretary David Miliband said on Thursday, while condemning Moscow's "invasion" of Georgia.

Miliband, asked whether NATO would go to war against Moscow if it were to attack a neighbouring country or ally again, said: "We don't want all-out war with Russia ... There's no question of launching an all-out war against Russia."

NATO is committed to the principle that an attack against one or several members would be considered an attack against all, and to defending its members against aggression. Georgia is not a NATO member but it has ambitions to join.

NATO was not an "offensive" alliance, Miliband told BBC Radio.

Lord, that last statement is pure insanity. NATO has invaded several countries, one of which was disarmed by the United Nations so the US attack could proceed without incident. The UN is dead. Saddam is dead. But Putin and Hu are very much alive and kicking our asses. NATO doesn't want an all-out war with Russia. They just want a PARTIAL war with Russia!

Alas, History is very stern: all wars do what they do. Small wars can swiftly turn into massive World Wars. When Saddam was induced into attacking a corner of Iran so he could steal Iran's oil wells, this turned into a major war between the two countries. This, in turn, cause world oil prices to shoot to the heavens. This, in turn, destroyed the US economy, fueled hyper-inflation and gave us all great, great grief. If we knew it would send oil to over $150 a barrel in today's inflationary dollars, we would have begged Saddam to NOT invade Iran!

But we did the opposite. China has made it very clear: the West can negotiation and stop the violent threats and rhetoric or they will be facing a huge coalition in the UN led by China, the third world, South America, a host of nations condemning the war the G7 seem stupidly to launch.

As the US celebrates the two conventional conventions which feature crushing abuse of demonstrators and even the highest levels of the media, the situation in the Black Sea continues to broil. The grossly over-extended US empire is pretending to muscle everyone even as the chief rivals play games of cat and mouse with our over-muscled but physically weak empire. Like a weight lifter about to die of a heart attack, the US flexes its military muscles while everyone laughs behind their hands, pointing at our red, puffed up visage.

Russia wins backing from China, Central Asia over Georgia

(AFP) — Russia won support Thursday from China and Central Asian states in its standoff with the West over the Georgia conflict as the European Union said it was weighing sanctions against Moscow.

Russia's President Dmitry Medvedev said he hoped the "united position" of a summit of Central Asian nations would "serve as a serious signal to those who try to turn black into white".

China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan voiced support for Russia's "active role" in resolving the conflict in Georgia, according to the draft of a joint statement released by the Kremlin.
Leaders from the countries met in the Tajik capital of Dushanbe as the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, a regional group set up in 2001 to counter NATO influence in the strategic Central Asia region.

One thing about Agence France Presse is they are French and therefore, not all that prone to cough up propaganda. So if they say that Russia has support from China and others, Russia has this. Some commentators this month have suggested that China would not support Russia in this matter because China sensibly doesn't want to be broken up into shattered shards like Russia. Russia, we better remember, become this way due to going bankrupt! The US, incidentally and obviously is going bankrupt, too.

The US has heartily endorsed the break up of all other nations since WWI. We went from fighting our most vicious war in 1860 over the concept of there being no right to break up the United States into individual confederations to proposing all other nations be chopped apart according to language, religious or ideological lines! NO nation is EVER consistent in philosophy. All follow just one rule: do as you wish whenever you want.

Since this is the only rule, it is very important to figure out what this means: all alliances are temporary. And all alliances are an equal danger as well as strength. Alliances can lead to massive wars. Or prevent them. Depending on the skills, sensibilities and desires of the leaders.

Russia fails to win support of Asian alliance

CNN) -- Russia's hopes of winning international support for its actions in Georgia were dashed Thursday, when China and other Asian nations expressed concern about mounting tensions in the region. The joint declaration from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, or SCO, which includes China, Russia, Tajikistan, Kyrgystan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan, said the countries hoped any further conflict could be resolved peacefully through dialogue.

The Chinese have this ritual: they want everything to be resolved via diplomacy. As well they might. Two of the world's greatest diplomats are Hu and Wen. Both go about the planet, making deals, setting up systems and in general, building a huge imperial complex based on joint interests and money. For the Chinese have something the US doesn't have: money. Credit. Power. The US goes about the planet waving guns like some desperado because the US has no more power except the gun. Like any street thug with no job, we have a pug on a leash with spikes on its collar and we trundle about, threatening little old ladies trying to cash their Social Security checks. Or beating up little Palestinian or Iraqi boys for throwing rocks at us.

CNN has to lie to Americans because it pays to lie. If the truth were told, we would not be seeing this election. This election is all about projecting US power. And what is being projected is the image of a clown. The US should hope that Obama wins simply because he has some small talents in the realm of being civilized. He knows how to eat without spitting out food while talking with his mouth full like Bush tends to do. Or throwing up in the Japanese prime minister's lap like Bush Sr. He doesn't talk funny or sing silly songs about bombing innocent civilians. So he isn't a monkey or a chipmunk waving a wooden sword. McCain's bellicosity is exactly what the Chinese want. The two top diplomats of the world can point to this blustering old dottering man who can't remember his home address and say, 'We must disarm him.'

Since Israel, Europe and the US has made disarmament the #1 topic in international politics, I would think the US would happily disarm once the Chinese request this at the UN. And Russia is already going to the UN to demand NATO disarm. And morally, Russia is in the right. Europe and America refused to protect Russian peacekeepers from a sneak attack, after all. Europe and America refused to condemn this sneak attack. Europe and the US have armed and supported a country that has attacked peacekeepers. This is so embarrassing, watching the bellicosity in the US media whip up outrage in America while being totally in the moral wrong here.

G7 condemns Russian recognition of Georgian regions

(Reuters) - The Group of Seven rich nations Wednesday issued a stinging condemnation of Russia's decision to recognize Georgia's breakaway regions of South Ossetia and Abkhazia, the United States said.

The G7 is a federation of powers which have latched onto the US military machine after WWII and taken it over. Germany and Japan went from defeat to total victory over the US in a mere 50 years. By 1980, both nations had financial control over the US. The US negotiated one deal after another to fix this and failed. Both nations fund US military power via loans which are climbing rapidly in cost. Paying the interest on these loans which were run up so we can patrol Europe and Asia on behalf of Germany and Japan is now bankrupting the US. And are so large, these two victors in the 20th century struggle for global dominance cannot fund the US anymore.

So Russia and China, the two nations that lost the Cold War's struggle for power are now the ones mainly funding US spending on military dominance. Thus, these two losers are changed magically into winners of the Cold War. The US is astonishingly trying to restart the Cold War while being owned by the same powers that lost the previous Cold War. This is sheer insanity. The G7 are no longer 'rich' nations. They have in their group, one rather poor nation: the United States of America. And since this poor nation is the centerpiece of the G7 powers, it is the key to destroying the entire G7's powers. The US goes under financially, both Germany and Japan will be exposed to the full fury of two great powers that HATE them with a passion and who were NOT paid reparations for WWII when Germany and Japan ravaged both China and Russia!

NYT editorial: Stuck in Georgia

And if that isn’t unnerving enough, President Bush has decided to dispatch Vice President Dick Cheney, that master of diplomacy, to the region.

Awash in oil wealth and giddy after crushing tiny Georgia, Russia’s leaders are striking back at real and imagined humiliations. The West’s failure to fully marshal its leverage is painful to watch. But Russia also has a lot to lose. Moscow’s decision to recognize South Ossetia and Abkhazia will only harden battle lines and sow further regional instability.

We know some in the Kremlin don’t care if ties with the West are broken. Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, the dark hand behind Russia’s aggression, blustered this week that Russia would be better off if it didn’t join the World Trade Organization.

HAHAHA. The WTO is hated across the planet. Before the US turned into a total Soviet police state, we used to have huge, lively anti-WTO demonstrations. All over the place, whenever the WTO tries to meet, there are riots! The WTO has to now meet in isolated resorts surrounded by heavy military installations. Russia defying this organization makes Russia more, not less, popular with the global masses! China doesn't mind using the WTO to colonize the US. Japan loves the WTO because they have a million tricks up their kimono sleeves for restricting global penetration of Fortress Japan. This comedy of errors should be terminated as fast as possible by the US. For of all nations, the US has been ravaged the worse thanks to the WTO.

It is our real enemy. It is why we are now dying as a sovereign power and are now going bankrupt.

NYT is totally for the WTO, incidentally.

A blustering visit from Mr. Cheney would also make it far easier for the Europeans to avoid doing what they need to do: send their own clear message to Moscow that there will be no business as usual. That does not mean completely isolating Russia. But when the Europeans meet next week, they should agree to put on hold a trade and security deal with Moscow so long as it continues to occupy Georgia and threaten its neighbors.

Ties between Russia and the West are now the worst in a generation. It will take toughness and subtlety to ensure they do not lock into a permanent confrontation — not more bluster from anyone.

This blustering, stupid editorialist doesn't seem to clearly understand that if Europe yells at Russia and demands Russia stop trading, Russia will stop. Then Germany and France can freeze to death and watch all their factories close down due to lack of energy. As Putin might say, 'Make my day.'

What the NYT wishes to imagine is, Europe can pick and choose which things they want from Russia. Then they can punish Russia while not cutting off their own noses. But Russia will cut off their noses! Russia has no interest in selling energy while being punished. Tit for tat. As I said at the beginning of this analysis, in international politics, the rule is, leaders do whatever they want, when they want. Treaties or no treaties. Punishments or no punishments. If they happen to be getting along, they get along. When this ceases, they go off and do whatever they want.

The US wanted both oil and to stop Saddam from funding the Palestinian uprising against Israeli invaders in the Middle East. So we cooked up charges, disarmed Saddam and then lunged at his throat. Now, we squat there, dying every day, going bankrupt rapidly, trying to strongarm Iraq's Shia government into some sort of treaty that will lock them in as our servants and weaken them as much as humanly possible. But this is a total failure. The longer this process takes, the stronger the Shi'a become and the weaker the US becomes. Time is of the essence for the US. And the Iranians know this. So they are not eager to see the US stop negotiations. They want this to continue forever or until the US collapses.

Europe needs Iraqi and Iranian oil. Europe wants this oil under the aegis of the US military power. Europe has no means of securing this precious oil without the US. But the US hates the Shi'ites, the US wants to weaken them so they can't support their own people in Lebanon. The US is all mixed up in its goals because the #1 goal here is actually to secure Israel, not the US nor Europe. Since this is a totally contradictory goal, this means the mode of operation as well as the diplomatic goals are utterly at odds with each other and therefore, unattainable.

Now to go to Antiwar.com, a great web page for all information about the US thrashing about the planet, uselessly:

One would think that a coast guard vessel has a fairly straight forward task: patrol the littoral waters surrounding the country.

However, it appears that the US coast guard, like the national guard, has a history of being used in imperial warfare. For instance, the USCGC Dallas, the largest coast guard ship currently in commission, has just made a pit stop in Georgia. Not the Peach State, but rather in the Black Sea near the Caucasus.

Here is my reply to the many military personnel who posted proud answers to this charge that the US military is NOT protecting the US but is scattered about the planet:

9/11 showed the world, the US military and other organizations is so focused on patrolling the entire planet, no one is protecting America. After 9/11, our desire to patrol the entire planet has done two things: left the US utterly unprotected and bankrupted our government.

The dilly-dallying about the planet with our forces scattered to the winds is the usual thrashing around of a dying empire. When England went bankrupt during WWI, they continued to expand their empire afterwards [including a disastrous war in Iraq] and they scattered their forces even more across the planet.

All this, knowing that their home base was totally vulnerable to a frontal attack. So of course, this happened a second time. Unlike WWI, in WWII, the attacks were directly on England and England nearly collapsed. As it was, the rolling up of the English empire was so easy, soldiers on bicycles in Asia were able to overwhelm the bedraggled last strands of the British Empire in Southeast Asia.

The US is using up all available tools at hand in a wild, last attempt at securing our empire. We foolishly imagine, if we have token troops in 130 different countries, this will control all potential rivals. To do this, we have handed over our sovereignty to dire rivals who have only one goal: the termination of the US empire.

China and Russia hold very significant amounts of US debts. Both did this thanks to wild US misspending on global domination systems. Both intend to use this as a way of toppling US international power. The fact is that the US ships are madly trying to muscle so many distant shores has weakened US power which cannot be brought into action anywhere due to this. If we send the vast majority of our fleets into three cul de sac water systems surrounded by hostile powers, we should not be surprised if we lose all our fleets at once.

The truth is, Russia and China can sink our entire navy in a flash if our navy is trapped in these dead-end seas. In WWII, Britain was very lucky that Germany didn’t have enough subs to sink all British ships in the Mediterranean. Since the US was supplying Britain, the Germans concentrated on the North Atlantic instead. Otherwise, the Brits would have had virtually no navy outside of the one attached to the US empire.

The US foreign policy fools who have driven the US right off the cliff should be arrested for treason. Sending our local as well as overseas navies to these obvious traps is treason. Even if nothing happens to them—this time—the trap is still set, jaws opened wide. This level of irresponsibility is as great as the 9/11 levels. The Pentagon and White House sat idle during a long multi-level attack because they wanted it to succeed.

They intend to do this again with our navies as ‘bait’ to Russia and China. Then they get the Cold War back. But this is stupid because it will bring us WWIII instead.

Are we entering the age of the autocrat? It's certainly tempting to think so after watching Russia's recent clobbering of Georgia. That invasion clearly marks a new phase in world politics, but it's a mistake to think that the future belongs to Russian strongman Vladimir Putin and his fellow despots.

I'm particularly interested in trying to discern the shape of the new international moment, because I wrote an essay in 1989 entitled "The End of History?" It argued that liberal ideas had conclusively triumphed at the end of the Cold War. But today, U.S. dominance of the world system is slipping; Russia and China offer themselves as models, showing off a combination of authoritarianism and modernization that offers a clear challenge to liberal democracy. They seem to have plenty of imitators.

China's problem today, unlike in imperial times, is that it doesn't have a well-articulated sense of what the country represents in the larger world. The so-called Beijing Consensus, which mixes authoritarian government with market economics, is popular in many developing countries, and with good reason: Under Beijing's rules, national leaders can just do business and make money, without being hectored about democracy and human rights.

At the Democratic Convention, an ABC reporter was manhandled, nearly choked to death and arrested by Denver goons who claimed, he had no right to stand on a sidewalk and film all the fat cats who were hosting parties for the corrupt and evil Senators. So much for US propaganda about how evil China was for not allowing pro-destruction of China demonstrators! In the US, even the act of gathering the news about the Real Rulers is verboten. Anyone doing this is hammered into the ground. The DNC didn't condemn this any more than Kerry's refusal to stop the repeated tasering of a student in Florida when he asked 'an interesting question.'

Pelosi recently had a reporter for public radio arrested for asking HER an 'interesting question.' She didn't have him tasered, too. But I bet, she wanted to do this. We no longer have a republic or a democracy. We have an autocracy. So why is the Washington Post wasting space with the blathering about how China and Russia are not like the free US where reporters are beaten to death for asking interesting questions....ah. This sort of bloody stupidity is great propaganda for anyone who has zero awareness of the real news which is the vast majority of Americans.

I have been increasingly horrified by the swift loss of civil rights in this nation. We see the beginnings of the Soviet state style of rule that a bankrupt government needs to impose marshal law on angry masses. The average America is totally unable to understand or survive a collapse of our economic systems. Scattered all over, we don't even have the strength of extended families to protect ourselves from the ravages of economic destruction. We can't withdraw into our own villages since we are 'atomized' across the land.

While researching financial matters, I came across this old article from the last major cycle of imperial destruction:

"We have not forgotten the wound on our eastern flank and the lopping off of the Vistula district, nor have we forgotten how shabbily Woodrow Wilson urged the unnatural severing of East Prussia from the Fatherland. . . . We intend, of course, to fulfill our European mission without going to war, but, on the contrary, only soldiers with front experience can liquidate the War."

So spoke blunt Gottfried R. Treviranus, Minister Without Portfolio in the cabinet of Chancellor Bruning, to cheering crowds assembled last week before the steps of the Reichstag. Six hours later the protests started, piled up in wave upon wave of outraged French and Polish anguish to a holocaust of denunciation.

Poland, jealous of every move against her dearly guarded corridor to the sea, was just as vociferous. Foreign Minister August Zaleski made formal protest to Berlin.

"Poland is set!" screamed the Gazeta Polska, "and ready to defend her frontiers to the last drop of blood!"
Startled by the speed and strength of these attacks, Dr. Treviranus insisted last week that he had been misunderstood, repeated one phrase in his speech which had not been quoted in French and Polish papers:
"The way of peaceful understanding is the only possible one for ending the wrong of drawing up boundaries as they are now."

This is a cold reminder of what happens to empires playing the ethnic card when sparring with other empires. England and France wanted ethnic identity in Eastern Europe but NOT in Ireland or southern France, just for example. So they carved up Germany and Austria but took over or extended their own powers of rule in distant lands like Southeast Asia, Africa, the Pacific or other areas. Overextended and bankrupt, owing billions to the US, both England and France were utterly incapable of resisting a resurgent Germany that basically rolled right over Poland as well as all of Europe in less than 2 years of warfare.

US Beats US Demonstrators Mercilessly

The US militarized police state is in full flower. I remember how it was assembled. The US rulers are very strict about controlling pesky crowds. The only time they can't do this is when there are UNPLANNED reactions which we call 'riots.' I have lived through these in the past. Right on the heels of the US/NATO imperialists screeching like crazy about China not allowing separatists agitating at the Olympics, we have the media mostly ignoring the small handful of demonstrators who braved the massive suppressionary forces arrayed at Denver. Meanwhile, in the real world, the US condemns separatism in the Caucasus mountains. This is high lunacy!

Kucinich energizes DNC crowd

U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucinich of Ohio brought the Democratic National Convention crowd to its feet today as he accused the Bush administration of losing track of the economy while focusing on the war in Iraq.

"Wake up America. The insurance companies took over health care," he said. "Wake up America. We went into Iraq for oil!"

Kucinich blamed the war in Iraq for "millions of Americans" losing their homes and jobs.

"Up with peace! Up with prosperity! Up with the Democratic Party! Up with Obama!," he shouted, pumping his arms. "Wake up America!"

His speech was the liveliest of the evening so far, causing delegates to jump out of their seats, wave their arms in the air and shout for the first time tonight.

Sigh. I remember the sixties. I was very, very active back then. I was at many conventions, demonstrations, riots, political action committees, I made many leaflets, banners, wrote newspaper stories, did cartoons, did tons of things no one wanted me to do. I talked about the CIA and how our nation was a nation haunted by spooks every bit as dangerous as the spooks in Russia and China. Frankly, most people didn't believe me when I talked about the way the CIA operates. Yet every time I had to face down the Secret Service, the FBI or the local police, they always ended up going away instead of beating me to death.

Well, now they would beat me to death, I guess. My father's influence is fading as he ages. But I suppose we have to forge ahead. This is because everything about politics today bugs the hell out of me. People wanting to understand 'conspiracies' annoy me because they can't figure out how they have been manipulated by DARPA's think tankers and their ability to toss off all sorts of goofy ideas. These are launched like scud missiles into the internet to see which attracts the most devotion from anxious readers seeking 'the hidden truth!' Rats. It works, alas.

Then there are 'reasonable people' who accept the propaganda pictures put into action by the media owners. The media owners work very closely with the CIA and the government. They are hardly much better or different than the crews that ran Pravda under communism. Most Americans live in this duck soup reality. They thrash about with the noodles and vegetable bits and try desperately to have a point of view. Only they are viewing a brick wall. And they have a choice: if they get out of this frying pan, they end up in the fire. And being able to see the world through sane eyes is nearly impossible.

Let's examine Kucinich's speech: he was allowed on the podium if he gave the 'right' speech. So he obliged. He didn't warn everyone that the DNC is the Police State. Nope. He didn't mention the suppression of dissent outside. He didn't compare Denver with Beijing. Nope. He said 'millions of Americans' are losing their homes and jobs because of the Iraq war????? WHAT THE HELL???? This is utterly senseless and obvious pandering. The US military/industrial complex is 85% of our manufacturing base these days! And has nothing to do with our housing bubble. Our housing bubble came about because Bush and Cheney couldn't go to war without bringing Santa Claus down the damn chimney.

This Federal Reserve Santa came with a huge bag of goodies. The US public LOVED this. True, the war caused oil prices to soar. But this was only 50% of the hike in oil prices. The other 50% was due to US over consumption coupled with excessive import consumption. The US trade deficit soared during the war years. But this was soaring, anyway. The US public can't all live in unaffordable McMansions. Nor can everyone get huge ATM loans from their little shacks, hovels or dumps. This bonanza of easy lending was the tail end of easy lending for US militarist actions on behalf of all the leeches who are our allies in Europe and Asia and a singular, very difficult little Middle Eastern country that tries very hard to never, never be examined or be in the news except with happy stories about happy US dual citizens settling in and making the desert bloom. After killing the natives.

Bush sent the economy off the tracks with the pre-9/11 tax cuts. These were popular. Then, after 9/11, all the war spending created massive jobs at home and abroad. This was extremely popular. The push for war was popular with our media and many a foolish American citizen. And when the illegal and ill-advised invasion happened, I was accosted by a number of people waving their arms, yelling, 'You are WRONG, Elaine! We will win and have CHEAP GAS.' I then explained that gas would not be cheaper but the opposite. This was because the oil was a bonus but not the point. The invasion was on behalf of US hegemony there. Saddam gave lots and lots of support and money to the Palestinians who were fighting the Jewish invaders. This ceased once we destroyed Iraq.

This scheme of ours is now up in flames as the invasion radicalized Islam to an amazing degree. The ancient battle between the Shi'a and the Sunni flared up again. But it didn't help us. It simply made the fires hotter. And they are burning merrily right where the majority of the world's oil reserves lie. This has certainly driven up the price of oil. The issue of Palestine will NOT be mentioned by ANYONE at the Democratic imperial crowning. Nor will the GOP talk about this. AIPAC's representatives are hard at work, behind the curtain, to insure this.

Note that Kucinich isn't demanding the DNC back off of Iran. I know that he wouldn't attack Iran. But he knows better than to talk about the VERBOTEN stuff when the real string pullers are out in full force.

American News Project: A calm political protest quickly turned chaotic as anxious Denver police surrounded protestors peacefully marching toward the Democratic National Convention Center. After trapping the crowd between two buildings, hundreds of officers used pepper spray, batons and unwarranted aggression. After being surrounded for 20 minutes, two ANP producers managed to escape after recording the whole affair.

Rightwingers are also arrested.

Protest, arrests on Speer downtown

A group of 75-100 anti-abortion protesters plopped down on Speer Boulevard by Market outside the Pepsi Center at about 2 p.m. and are facing arrest.

Members of the group, who had promised in emails that they would do something to guarantee their arrest, appeared to be getting their wish as police arrived.

Traffic has been briefly disrupted.

There is no real 'fire in the belly' in these demonstrations. These are desperate attempts to have the semblance of 'in the street' democracy. But people are in a 'wait and see' mood right now. The chess pieces on the planetary board are rapidly moving. The US and Russia take each other's pawns and are pawning our future. The Chinese are done with proving all the anti-Chinese whiners who complained about nearly everything in this Olympics to be a bunch of ninnies. Now, China is giving our finances a very hard eyeball glare. And is snarling that we better pay our debts or else. And Russia is shoving us around while we lumber about with NATO and shove back. I keep saying, Europe has learned absolutely nothing from history. Nothing at all.

Anyone with a brain knows that 'shove Russia' and 'sneak attack Russia' always ends with Russians destroying everything in their path in return. And they can utterly annihilate Europe. Europe's fear is great. But the solution is to have the US fight off Russia. I suppose the deep plan is for Russia and America to destroy each other while the Europeans stand on the sidelines after the usual sneak attacks. This is STUPID. I bet most Europeans don't even mention this. They dare not think it, either. No, they are protecting themselves. But if Russia were vaporized, all the easier. Ech. If you poke at them with a stick, they fling themselves out of their coiled up position and fly through the air, jaws gaping wide, poison dripping. Only after they have extended themselves, can you pin the head down with a long stick. And lord help you, if you goof and nail too far down the slippery body! Running like hell is the best solution. Even shooting them: they don't die right away. And thrashing around, are still very dangerous. So I hope Europeans think about this more carefully.

CodePINK marches for peace

Members of CodePINK, an organization opposed to the Iraq war, held aloft an effigy of civil-rights icon Rosa Parks as they marched along West Colfax Avenue today.
Members of the group sang "We shall not be moved," an anthem of the civil-rights movement, and chanted as they paraded on the second day of the Democratic National Convention.

The group wants Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama to pledge to end the occupation of Iraq, said Renay Davis, 58, a Code Pink member from San Francisco.

"At this point, I will vote for him. He is our last hope for change, but the road to change begins with peace," she said.

I knew Dr. Spock. When he ran for President, I assisted him. It was rather amusing. He couldn't win anything, of course. But we did this in order to push the Democrats in the right direction. For LBJ was the one who upped the ante with the war! It is too late for anyone to think the DNC will 'bring peace' since the Democratic party leaders have all sworn to AIPAC, they will bring us wars and more wars. They were most emphatic about this and work ceaselessly to drive this particular nail home. They are openly egging on a war with Iran. And Iran will make Iraq look easy. We are losing many wars and our rulers don't care. They know that if we tie down Islamic nations, they can't rescue the Palestinians. And the entire US foreign policy direction is to increase the size and power of Israel even if this kills US power.

I better warn Europe, this means they come second. Maybe Europe and the US hope Israel will nuke Russia for us? Who knows. The Apocalypse will be very ugly. No oil reserves or religious centers will exist at the end of it. Antiwar demonstrators have to take this devil by the horns! If we think we can have peace while Palestine is ripped to pieces, this is insane. There will be no peace. And many antiwar people are pro-Tibet, pro-Darfur. They honestly believe that all nations should be ripped to shreds along all sorts of ethnic/religious configurations. The world then can have a million small countries that hate each other. This will sort of like being alive in the Dark Ages.

Russia Backs Independence of Georgian Enclaves

Russia on Tuesday recognized the independence of two enclaves that have long sought to secede from neighboring Georgia. The action deepened strains with the West over the conflict in the economically vital crossroads of the Caucasus and roiled a broader debate over how to respond to separatist movements around the world.

The Russian decision was intended to consolidate its political and military gains in the two and a half weeks since it invaded Georgia after hostilities flared over the breakaway territory of South Ossetia, an ally of Moscow.

The Russian president, Dmitri A. Medvedev, declared in a nationally televised address that South Ossetia and the other pro-Russian enclave, Abkhazia, would never again have to endure what he described as oppressive Georgian rule.

“This is not an easy choice, but it is the only way to save the lives of people,” Mr. Medvedev said.

With Russia’s image and financial markets suffering in recent days, Mr. Medvedev took the unusual step of giving a series of interviews to foreign media on Tuesday to explain the move. He said Russia had abided by international law in recognizing the two enclaves, but he left no doubt that the decision was in part retaliation for the West’s support earlier this year for the independence of Kosovo from Serbia, which Russia had opposed.

Like England in 1933, the US merrily tootles about the planet with its extremely expensive naval forces. They sail in and out of ports. The sneak attack on Russian soldiers was next on the agenda. And this will end as it always ends: Berlin filled with Russians. Paris filled with Cossacks. Where is Napoleon? Can any of the weaklings running the EU find some suitable military hero to turn them into a Grand Armee? I just got the entire 'War and Peace' movie made in Russia. It is a must-watch.

Up until that battle, no European leader was able to keep fighting to resist the Grande Armee. Even though the French won this battle, the Russians simply pulled back and then returned, with a vengeance. An unstoppable force. So I would imagine, European people should be out in the streets, demanding this new Cold War cease? Well, not.

Iraq, U.S. clash over timetable for U.S. troop withdrawal

Prime Minister Nouri al Maliki said Monday there would be no security agreement between the United States and Iraq without an unconditional timetable for withdrawal— a direct challenge to the Bush administration, which insists that the timing for troop departure would be based on conditions on the ground.

Maliki said that the United States and Iraq had agreed that all foreign troops would be off Iraqi soil by the end of 2011. "There is an agreement actually reached, reached between the two parties on a fixed date, which is the end of 2011, to end any foreign presence on Iraqi soil," Maliki said.

But the White House disputed Maliki's statement and made clear the two countries are still at odds over the terms of a U.S. withdrawal.

"Any decisions on troops will be based on conditions on the ground in Iraq ," White House spokesman Tony Fratto said in Crawford, Tex. , where President Bush is vacationing. "That has always been our position. It continues to be our position."

Maliki gives a chance to get our leg out of the Iraq bear trap. Only Bush and our other rulers WANT us there. To keep the Shi'ites in our grip. We know that the day we get kicked out, Iraq and Iran will be on the same page, reading the same script. Romeo and Juliette. Well, we want both dead as that pair of lovers. Western forces poised to halt Taliban tide

Western special forces are poised to increase their clandestine military operations in Pakistan to stop the flood of Taliban fighters pouring into Afghanistan, amid concerns that the militants are "winning the war".

As fears grow that the Taliban's strength has been underestimated and not enough is being done to stop militants crossing Afghanistan's porous border, Western forces are considering taking the controversial step of carrying out more missions in Pakistan.

In recent weeks, increased attacks by Taliban fighters on Western and Afghan targets, including the killing of 10 French soldiers and the attempted storming of an American base, have been linked by Nato officials to peace deals struck between the militants and Pakistan's government and an unwillingness in some parts of the Islamabad establishment to |confront extremists.
