As I predicted, all the small nations in the world watched how the USA used the UN to disarm a nation and then disasterously invade. The American empire wanted badly to punish baby dragon for developing a nuke. The other nuclear powers want to keep the club small so they joined in this venture. China and Russia made the punishment mild but North Korea is not going to back down even slightly.

Published: October 15, 2006The declaration last Monday by North Korea that it had conducted a successful atomic test brought to nine the number of nations believed to have nuclear arms. But atomic officials estimate that as many as 40 more countries have the technical skill, and in some cases the required material, to build a bomb.
That ability, coupled with new nuclear threats in Asia and the Middle East, risks a second nuclear age, officials and arms control specialists say, in which nations are more likely to abandon the old restraints against atomic weapons.
The spread of nuclear technology is expected to accelerate as nations redouble their reliance on atomic power. That will give more countries the ability to make reactor fuel, or, with the same equipment and a little more effort, bomb fuel — the hardest part of the arms equation.
It is plain as day: even as the Great Nuclear Warlord Powers try in vain to punish or rein in North Korea, everyone can see that North Korea is free to act as they will because they can fight back. This astonishing information is the last thing the world's rulers want anyone to know.
Of course, the whole disarmament business became total hash when the USA decided to use nukes to control all the planet. When the Soviet State fell, we had no excuse for our nuclear arsenal since we were friendly with China too. So instead of disarming, we upped our arms and then boasted about the New American Century that would dawn after a 'Pearl Harbor Event.'
So here we are, in a mess we created. North Korea has decided to be belligerent.

Article from: Agence France-PresseNORTH Korea has said it "totally rejects" UN sanctions imposed after it declared it had conducted a nuclear test, accusing the world body of "double standards" overnight at the United Nations Security Council.
"This clearly testifies that the Security Council has completely lost its impartiality and still persists in applying double standards in its work," ambassador Pak Gil Yon told the Security Council.
"It is gangster-like for the Security Council to have adopted today a coercive resolution while neglecting the nuclear threat and moves for sanctions and pressure of the United States," he added.
He further accused the United States of preparing a pre-emptive strike on his country.
North Korea is correct here. The Great Powers keep power by either holding the nuclear umbrella over allies or threatening small nations with nukes. The temptation to nuke non-nuclear nations is very severe. Nixon desperately wanted to nuke North Vietnam. And the USA would have nuked North Korea except Russia forbade both actions warning us that Europe and Japan would be nuked in retaliation. Using nukes was supposed to be controlled by fear of MAD: Mutally Assured Destruction.
This scary balance was broken by 1992. It was replaced by the American hubris of imagining we could control everyone with our nuclear arms. The move for nukes began to accelerate and already, Pakistan and India have nukes and the arms embargo lasted barely eight years. Now we are pouring arms into both nations.
So it is with North Korea. China and Russia want to play games with us still so they opposed sanctions that would topple the government of North Korea while asking us to negotiate a saner treaty with them and we got a very ineffective blockade. But North Korea is scuttling all of this in defiance of everyone because they feel they don't deserve to be singled out and they know they are correct.
The USA and Japan will use money to buy the votes of small nations in the UN to condemn this attempt at self-defense. So it will appear that small nations really don't want to protect themselves but this is all fake. The various provinces in the world that have scuttled under the umbrella of America won't be the standard bearers in the future, they are going to be only half-nations.
Real nations have nukes which is why France worked so hard to develop their own.
The UN is attacked in Lebanon.
BEIRUT (Reuters) - Two rocket-propelled grenades hit a building near the headquarters of the United Nations in Beirut early on Sunday, slightly wounding four people, security sources and witnesses said. They said the grenades, fired from a small hill in central Beirut, hit a building that houses offices, a bank branch and a nightclub in Riad el-Solh some 30 metres (yards) from the U.N. o0ffices.
The useless UN is being attacked in Lebanon. The mare's nest of that place's politics means everyone can do whatever they can and disarming is suicide. And the UN has no solution to the problems there because their sole reason for being there is to disarm the people so they can't fight the Israeli/American empire. Israel has nukes and Lebanon has none and this is why Lebanon is occupied by whoever wishes to come in and order them around. Like in Iraq, the people work day and night to undermine this action and to seize power.
Marie ColvinIRAQ’S fragile democracy, weakened by mounting chaos and a rapidly rising death toll, is being challenged by calls for the formation of a hardline “government of national salvation”.
The proposal, which is being widely discussed in political and intelligence circles in Baghdad, is to replace the Shi’ite-led government of Nouri al-Maliki, the prime minister, with a regime capable of imposing order and confronting the sectarian militias leading the country to the brink of civil war. Dr Saleh al-Mutlak, a prominent Sunni politician, travelled to Arab capitals last week seeking support for the replacement of the present government with a group of five strongmen who would impose martial law and either dissolve parliament or halt its participation in day-to-day government.Other Iraqis dismissed the idea that a unilateral change in the leadership would be desirable or even possible. “The only person who can undertake a coup in Iraq now is General George Casey (the US commander) and I don’t think the Americans are inclined to go in that direction,” said Ahmed Chalabi, head of a rival political party.
Any suspension of the democratic process would be regarded as a severe blow to American and British policy.
This always was the plan. The fake democracy moves were pure theater. The USA knew this was an illegal invasion and totally wrong so they had to pretend we were seeking a way of freeing the Iraqi people.
We have no real democracy here and we are watching all our ancient liberties be ripped to shreds so any pretense that we are in Iraq in order to give them what we are destroying at home is sheer lunacy. The Iraqi people will get another strongman. He is already hard at work. Which one will succeed in killing off all the other strongmen remains to be seen. Iran wants Sadr to win. Saudi Arabia wants a Sunni winner. We will see who prevails.
I am betting on the Iranians winning simply because they are revolutionaries and know how to do things. The Saudis are totally corrupt puppets. This is why bin Laden wants to overthrow them and the Sunnis fighting in Iraq view the Saudis as traitors to Islam so they aren't allies. The Saudis are facing a very dark future, whoever wins in Iraq.

Terrorist School Teacher Arrested, as reported first onCNN
NEW YORK- A public school teacher was arrested today at John F. Kennedy
International Airport as he attempted to board a flight while in possession of a ruler, a protractor, a set square, a slide rule and a calculator.
At a morning press conference, Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez said he believes the man is member of the notorious Al-gebra movement. He did not identify the man, who has been charged by the FBI with carrying weapons of mathinstruction.
"Al-gebra is a problem for us," Gonzalez said. "They desire solutions by means and extremes, and sometimes go off on tangents in search of absolute value. They use secret code names like 'x' and 'y' and refer to themselves as 'unknowns', but we have determined they belong to a common denominator of the axis of medieval with coordinates in every country. As the Greek philanderer Isosceles used to say, "There are 3 sides to every triangle."
When asked to comment on the arrest, President Bush said, "If God
had wanted us to have better weapons of math instruction, He would have
given us more fingers and toes."
