The US military wants to limit soldiers blogging about the war. They stupidly think that Muslims fighting us will then figure out how badly they are hitting us. But I showed just the other day, a video made by Iraqi snipers which they put online. They photograph their own stuff anyway. But the war goes on and on like a bad dream. The military unit tracking information online has a typical demonic/magical emblem which amuses me a lot. They love the Dark Side very much. And then wonder why Muslims call us the Great Satan.
Maj. Ray Ceralde, author of the new rules, made similar statements in an e-mail interview with me. "The regulation says that a Soldier or other U.S. Army personnel must consult with their immediate supervisor and OPSEC officer prior to posting information in a public forum," Maj. Ceralde wrote. Also, keep in mind that, despite the fact sheet's claim that the" wording and policies on blogging remain the same from the July 2005 guidance," the Army has specifically broadened these regulations. Before, soldiers only had to check with a supervisor before publishing material that might contain " sensitive and/or critical information." Now "all information in a public forum." So the operations security crowd was clearly looking for more checks, on more weblogs, for a wider variety of possible security violations.
Here is the website run by the military showing the slide show:
Running through this slide show clearly shows us why our military is losing its war against Muslim religious fanatics. The first obvious clue is at the top: the two symbols of this unit. The sword crossed by Wotan's lightning bolt is pure Naziism. Superimposing a dragon clutching the yin/yang symbol is Asian mysticism mixed up with these obvious Nazi references reminds me that the Nazis used the swastika as their main symbol and this is an ancient Indoeuropean lightning/yin/yang device.
When DARPA wanted a post-9/11 symbol, they designed this picture with a pyramid of magic, a hissing black cat and two towers. When this was made public, even the stupidest person could clearly see it was communicating some very obvious occult signals. So it was withdrawn. Then the office if Information Awareness had a decal designed that was that pyramid again with an eye glaring down upon the Mecca. Oops. Too obvious again.
If one looks at recent symbols or emblems being designed for our military and spook services, again and again, they either are openly satanic or Nazi-inspired. The love of skulls and lightning bolts in particular, again and again, they appear. The media seldom remarks on this. Indeed, the contagtion is so great, many Israeli military units are sliding into using these symbols too.
I don't ever recall the ADL protesting any of the emblems created by the military. Nor protesting the Skull and Bones and their Germanic death symbols. Nor did they ever talk about Bush's grandfather being in cahoots with Hitler. Being a neo-Nazi organization themselves, they want to pick and choose what symbols are evil and what are good. And of course, being fascists, they consider all their own magical symbols to be holy and good while other people have nasty symbols.
This childish need to justify one's own satanic urges while screaming about the identical thing going on elsewhere is normal human behavior. But this doesn't excuse it.
A top US commander predicted Friday intensifying fighting and more casualties as US and Iraqi forces move into sanctuaries used by Al-Qaeda to mount major terror bombings in Baghdad."As we have surged, we find the enemy surging as well," said Major General Rick Lynch, who commands an area in central Iraq that wraps around southern Baghdad.
A top commander inspecting the new Berlin Baghdad Wall was shot yesterday. We build this wall at night hoping the people can't stop us. In Israel, any Palestinians or foreign observers get in the way of the illegal wall building going on there get shot. The US and the Zionists in Israel both work very hard at building ghettoes. Erecting walls and building ghettoes are supposed to be evil Nazi/Soviet things. I think they still are and this is a giant blot on our blot-covered reputation.
Violent activity was elevated for a Friday. At least 71 Iraqis were killed or found dead and 89 Iraqis were wounded. One foreign fighter identified as an al-Qaeda leader was killed as well. Also, the U.S. military today reported that five U.S. servicemembers were killed and 11 wounded in separate incidents yesterday and today, and disclosed the name of a previously unreported GI death.
The parade of dead march to Hades. Congress is scared of looking 'weak' and not 'projecting power.' I would suggest their change their already very war-like, Roman-empire-style emblems and make them more satanic. Like a snarling wolf with a lightning bolt running from right to left and maybe a hissing black cat sitting on top of a big pyramid that is laughing?
God bless America! Or maybe the Capitol building with flames rising from it and a skull in the foreground, grinning? Yes. Perfect.
Well, Congress can't pretend to end the war, they have to end it. Nixon, when he surrendered to Mao, was touted as a diplomatic genius. Now that China's star is shooting past our declining empire, we have to recognize that retreats are dangerous and going to other empires for help is a form of surrender. We can't surrender in Iraq because unlike Vietnam where the President was impeached once he ended the war, oops---no President will ever retreat from a defeat again. They get impeached.
Anyway, we got out of Vietnam thanks to Mao and in return, we were forced to recognize Communist China and then Carter de-listed Taiwan as 'China' and then we surrendered economically and so why are we screwing around in Iraq?
Estonia is to set up a Red Army monument in a military cemetery in time for the anniversary of the end of World War Two after its removal from the center of the capital sparked riots, the Reuters news agency reported on Sunday quoting Estonian officials. The government decided to move the monument to avoid demonstrations linked to the anniversary on May 9, but had not originally planned to re-site it until the end of May.
But after the protests which erupted on Thursday, in which one man died, the government moved fast on Friday to remove the monument.
“I hope we will have the monument installed at the military cemetery by May 8,” Estonian Defense Minister Jaak Aviksoo told a news conference.
May 9 marks victory in Europe over Nazi Germany and sometimes provokes tensions between Russian-speakers and ethnic Estonians.
Russia called moving the monument, a 2-metre (6-1/2 ft) high bronze statue of a Red Army soldier, an insult to those who fought fascism.
This story is just another reminder that WWII isn't quite finished yet. And that both the American and the Russian empires are the ultimate losers. In Italy today, there are big demonstrations against our big military base there which is being used as a staging ground for Middle Eastern wars. Like the Soviets and their captive nations, we are bent on making our military empire greater even as our financial situation continues to deteriorate.
We are spending a fortune building fortresses, bases and prisons all over the planet even as our internal ability to build or run anything in the US is declining. This red ink problem is getting worse overseas. I would suggest the military change their emblems to reflect this. Make them all look like red ink. And blood.
Blood was another favorite Nazi concept.

Holy Shit!!! I once convinced the cops to let this wacko graffiti artist go if he would just scrub away his "work". But this. This combination of symbols is clear evidence of a psychotic mental state. Not encouraging.

Holy Friggin Shit, time to freak out. Been to a museum lately? It’s pretty clear that these symbols are lackluster shorthand and uninspired. No poetry here. Hey, we need a patch already! Uh… Flaming, lightning, seeing eye, add talon… get the Latin on the radius. That’s the ticket. SOLD! Just finished listening to The The, Mind Bomb at least they can sync it with percussion and get your hair to stand a mite at volume.
These shitwads will take anything you throw at them as long as it has a semblance of cool factor. I’ve done a couple. As with Elaines dream state comments, the person(s) who decide on the final art eat the same blood in their dreams so there won’t be any pansies on the patch. Peagaus maybe but Elaine will claim misappropriation.

Were these kinds of military symbols a recent development? When I think of WWII iconography, for instance, I recall "pin-up girls" like Betty Grable painted on airplane noses and the shark's teeth painted on bombs or torpedoes--nothing like the OPSEC symbols shown here.
I've noticed too that military tattoos have taken a darker turn of late. Just yesterday, I saw one that looked disturbingly similar to the symbol used by Hitler's SS.

Correct, Daliwood. I have known real German Nazis. Lived with them. Heh. They know the iconography. It is ALL MAGICAL. Namely, it is designed to tap into the power of lightning and the Outer Darkness.
I would say, it reflects the 'Id'. Namely, the innermost parts of our evolutionary souls: the cannibal/ killers who took lighning and turned it into fire.

I had some old army patches when I was a kid and one showed a single lightening bolt, another had a bald eagle, one had a blue shield -- all really simple stuff.
These new icons go perfect with the names of the troops (Demon Company) and their satanic tatoos and skull and bones headgear.
These are mercenaries, not draftees.

The ultimate Skull and Bones is at Yale, of course.
