Lots of sounds and fury over the middle east to drive the price of oil up for the profiteers, but watch war preparations in Asia.

I have some friends who are deploying soon to the Solomon Islands; the center of the universe for a naval battle for control of APAC region.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado, April 10 (Reuters) - The United States is set to start operating a powerful new military communications satellite over the Pacific next week, the first of a planned six-satellite network that will boost data flows 10-fold, the Air Force Space Command said Thursday.
On its own, the maiden Boeing Co-built Wideband Global Satellite will provide more capacity for video, data and voice than the entire group of 10 or so satellites it is designed to replace, the command said.

As far as people waking up to the irony of the US's position on world domination, I think we are all dreaming:

I teach a seminar called “Secrecy: Forbidden Knowledge.” I recently asked my class of 16 freshmen and sophomores, many of whom had graduated in the top 10 percent of their high-school classes and had dazzling SAT scores, how many had heard the word “rendition.”

Not one hand went up.

....
That instance was no aberration. In recent years I have administered a dumbed-down quiz on current events and history early in each semester to get a sense of what my students know and don't know. Initially I worried that its simplicity would insult them, but my fears were unfounded. The results have been, well, horrifying.

Nearly half of a recent class could not name a single country that bordered Israel.

Elaine, are you familiar with the concept of recursion or fractals? You know how the design of a fern or tree is just a repetition of larger patterns?

I have been toying with the concept that the way the elite treats the educated people is also replicated in how the educated treat the uneducated and how the farmers treat the animals we eat.

The factory farming of chickens and beef probably also relates to the factory farming of students.

Calculated ignorance is more scary to me than regular ignorance.

GK,

It's call the easy way out - students of this age wants to be spoon fed and want good results without working or thinking...they are very good at outsourcing at early age...hey why work ?? Let's party like Britney and let Chinese do all that hard & dirty working like really taking over the global economy and owning G7' collective ass.

"How dare he meet with people who are controversial!"

Elaine... "Controversial" is a nice way of saying "murderous terrorists". But that's never bothered the Sainted Jimmah all that much...

"I wrote to the New York Times and suggested they give our former President, Jimmy Carter, a guest editorial where he could explain reality to their readers."

You mean about how we should give back Occupied Mexico? US Out Of North America!!

"[Terrorists] can be Irish or Iranian, Israeli or Indian, they can be Christians or Muslims as well as Buddhists and Jews!"

Or entire countries, like the US!

"A huge number of soldiers of our imperial army were blown away this week. Around 20 so far."

Huge? See: Somme, Battle of the. First day losses: 58,000 British troops alone.

"Ambassador Ryan Crocker reiterated that the Bush administration does not plan to bring the long-term agreement to Congress first."

Which means only that the long-term agreement will be in force for another, oh, 8 1/2 months or so. (Unless of course Bush declares martial law and cancels the election.)

"We must look in the mirror and see the truth, not live in a cardboard house build by lying."

Liberate Aztlan Now!!!

Fractals are lightning bolts. Seriously. When my husband was involved in the latest hit on me, he was astonished to see that the bolt was really WOVEN like a river married to silk. It was actually very beautiful until I went flying backwards when it hit me in the hands. It was aimed at my heart. I deflected it towards the telephone.

The fractal nature of electricity is due to the yin/yang nature of positive/negative charges. All atoms are 'electrical' basically. Electrons are the parts that are active and I feel them to an unusual degree.

Since they are positive and negative and interact in this vast dance from the tiniest of creation which are electrons to the greatest which are black hole complexes, this nature of fractalistic electrical power is at the very center of the Outer Darkness I keep talking about.

Since the first bolt was the biggest to manage to nail me, I was literally disassembled, electrically, very briefly. Very briefly. And it was eternity at the same time. And this is the fractal nature of the Universe. Creation is when destruction is total. Out of utter chaos is born complete order.

Hamas DOES employ terrorism , i.e. violence directed at civilians in the furtherance of it's objectives.

Israel has killed about four times as many Palestinian civilians as Hamas has killed Israeli..

Israel's defense of civilian deaths resulting from their military actions is that they don't target civilians... they are just unfortunate collateral deaths.

none the less Hamas did offer a 10 year peace agreement with Israel...who knows it might have been a beginning, but the US and Israel said no.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2006/nov/01/israel

the rationale was that hamas would use the time to acquire more arms.

of course this makes little sense as nobody can compete with US or Israel when it comes to armaments...our country spends more on weapons and the military than all other nations on the earth combined.

our leaders appear to prefer war.

No worries. The Chinese government loves the anti-China protests. What's not to love! The protests ain't gonna do jack but push the Chinese citizens to support their country further more. These protests and western propaganda save a lot of work for the Chinese government. It is doing a wonderful job to help the Chinese government unite and radicalize its citizens. It's absolutely wonderful! China will not ban trades with the West. China will continue its games until one country is bankrupted. We got a game plan and we intend to finish it.

nice work as usual. keep it up!

More accurately: lightning bolts are fractal. See:

I'm afraid I've been engaged in a low-intensity battle against the obvious psyop about the Tibetan "monk" scam that's been being perpetrated on "liberal" bloggers for awhile. This anti-China nonsense is merely a ploy to recruit "the left" in a half-butted campaign to drum up belligerence against the Eastern Powers. They are merely being suckered into making fools of themselves, and I happen to resent being played for a fool.

Seems that "lefty," non-establishment media outlets (Like Raw Story, Portland Indymedia, and Fire Dog Lake) are being co-opted into falling for a phony pro-belligerence mindset by cynical hucksters, and I will simply not buy into that stupid insult.

I have posted over 36 debunkings on over 6 major "non-establishment" media outlets. They have systematically wiped out most of my comments in devious ways, contrary to their own ostensible policies. They let commentators claim "blues = Chinese," "blues is a communist," "blues is a wacko," etc. It finally pushed too many of my buttons, so my responses did not always reflect the standards that I normally hold myself to. Well, here are some of my (sometimes overwrought) replies. Sorry If my standards were waved a tad. Maybe Elaine is right, and this whole debacle will merely bolster the position of the Chinese rulers. But I get ornery sometimes when I think I am being played this hard. Well, here are some samples of my counter-posts:

Look, It's A Pure Psyop
How many people really care about the price of tea in China? Why should we? We are losing our own freedoms so fast you wouldn't believe it. If you demand China be free, maybe you should demand yourself be free first. Get serious!

Anyone else notice virtually every message board dealing with China has at least one wacko spouting the same Chinese government talking points as every other wacko on every other board? To quote blues "our wacko" "Look, It's A Pure Psyop."

Search to " Two Minute Hate "!!! This is so busted. Go ahead, "boycott" China. They made your computer and they own your ass. Because you sold it to them, fools!

Look, I Dealt With These Fools During Vietnam

We are now facing the collapse of the global Super Bubble, with starvation in the USA assured. We are supposed to worry about a bunch of rioting "monks" in China? How stupid do you think we are? We have problems right here. Like Diebold, which counted your corrupt "vote," but you will never complain about that. Because you like your roll as Brave Cowards. Why don't you go to Iraq, and straighten out the little problem we created by liberating 1.3 MILLION Iraqis by KILLING them, Brave Cowards?

First of all, this "Firedoglake" thingie is a major Dem Party front. I know about that. I have been there. I spent years arguing with the idiots at MyDD, so please do not give me any more propaganda. I protested the Vietnam War. My brother fought in it.

I went to the big Washington, DC march against it. The cops chased me right through the cafeteria of Georgetown University. The only "students" there were young guys with VERY short hair. They sat at their tables, and pretended to not notice the smell of the teargas, or the big batons the cops were carrying. I only escaped being put in the football field by running out on the big highway, where the cops wouldn't follow, because of the 70 MPH traffic that I ran through. These very nifty little white LSD pills were distributed among us, and some of us were stupid enough to take them. Then the psyops folks put on this incredible show with huge speakers, telling us that, since we had long hair (the males), we should just become homosexual. I had to rescue my friends again!

So I know about psyops. "Firedoglake" is also a psyop. Look people, how fucking stupid are Americans supposed to be. Are we really so dunderheaded as to fall for this bullshit? So sorry about those of you who fell for it all.

First of all, Burma is a totalitarian hell. In fact a totally capitalist hell. The Sudan thing is because the poor wretches happen to have OIL. The China thing is somewhat more complicated. It is supposedly "communist." But that is only true to the extent that their rulers think of themselves as communist. Most of China is probably not that bad to live in. It is a very big place, but at least they do not have cameras everywhere watching everything like we do here in the good old USA.

Please do yourself a favor, and do not fall for this obvious psyop. I have attended numerous REAL demonstrations, and this is quite simply NOT how they happen. In other words, this is certainly NOT a "grass roots" operation. This is incredibly obvious. We have suffered the loss of so very much freedom at the hands of these Dem Party Frontsters, and we are really supposed to get worried about the price of tea in China? I hope the hell NOT!

Our whole economy is poised to tank, you know. So do not make it worse by making fools of yourselves. Not only that, but if China simply stops sending us computers, we will not have them. I worked in electronics for 30 years. ALL my jobs went to China (or Japan, which is very seriously a capitalist hell, in a neverending "depression"). The Tibet situation is all about RACE! See the wretched Han Chinks are moving en-mass onto the Tibet Plateau, and they are not the "right" color. You will have more than enough problems very soon. So please do not fall for the 1984 Two Minute Hate:
