The deaths continue in Iraq but just over the wires comes news that a large number of American soldiers replicating the Soviet Union's invasion of Afghanistan died in battle. Instead of seeing Imperial Peace we are falling to pieces. The Israelis are now talking 'peace' with all the nearest neighbors so they can go to war with Iran. The rate of Israelis coming here to give our government orders is now increasing by the hour. And the Shi'ites that run Iraq are openly talking about kicking us to the curb. Oil is nearly $150 a barrel and gold is nearing $1000 an once. The US can't keep playing this tune much longer.
U.S. could step up Iraq pullout in September:
(Reuters) The withdrawal, which the Times said would constitute a marked reversal from the war's darkest days of 2006-2007, stemmed partly from the need for more U.S. troops in Afghanistan to fight the rising insurgency by the Taliban and other fighters. U.S. and allied casualties there have outpaced those in Iraq in recent months. No final decisions have been made, but at least one and as many as three of the 15 combat brigades now in Iraq could be withdrawn, or slated for withdrawal, by the end of the administration in January, the Times said, citing officials.
This was yesterday's news. Then in came today's news:
Nine Soldiers Killed in Early Morning Attack in Afghanistan
(Bloomberg) -- Nine soldiers with NATO's International Security Assistance Force were killed in Afghanistan today, the military said in a statement. The nine soldiers were Americans, making the attack one of the deadliest on U.S. troops since the 2001 invasion, the New York Times reported, citing an unidentified western official. Fifteen NATO and four Afghan National Army soldiers were also wounded, according to the IFSA statement.
A rule of thumb in life: if deaths are getting worse, the war is failing. We thought we won years ago but the deaths are rising, not falling. This is all part of the original bin Laden plan: to suck the US into endless battles in the mountains of Afghanistan while we are stuck in the valley where the capital is. Then, we go bankrupt just like Russia went bankrupt. Bin Laden's calendar ticks off each day as our debts mount, the price of oil rises and our economy collapses. He knows that Time is on his side.
There are quite a few disinformation programs out there that are obscuring bin Laden more and more. Huge segments of the West think he doesn't even exist and never had anything to do with creating the mess we are in. Of course, when Bush, Cheney and the Israeli overlords all decided to downplay bin Laden and ignore him, this confirmed to many that maybe bin Laden doesn't exist. This is sheer folly. He is very much in play and his game is simple: to harry and harass the West, teasing them to go full tilt into battle where ever bin Laden wishes!
For example, he knows that Israel hates and fears the Shi'ites because they have this revolutionary center of power in Iran now and are arming themselves to rebel against the Sunni overlords put in power by the British and the French after WWI. This, in turn, is destabilizing Sunni countries. Bin Laden is a Sunni and hates the Shi'ites. Turning the Western powers on the Shi'as benefits bin Laden. If he can egg on this fight, he is happy. The Shi'ites, in turn, are all fired up and hate the West with a passion. Egging on a fight is easy. The West should avoid this as much as humanly possible.
For no revolution can run onwards without opposition. If the US embraced the Shi'ites in Iran, all the tension would be gone and there would be peace. But since we support the suppression of the Shi'a in Lebanon, Syria, the Gulf oil monarchies and elsewhere, the powerful dynamic of the Shi'a revolution continues unabated. The US news media dearly loves to pretend it s flagging and dying. I see no sign of this. The Mullahs who rule Iran know very well that the provocative statements of the President of Iran irritates and annoys the European and American invaders no end. They know this causes all parties to spend more money and tighten world oil supplies which cause higher prices which bankrupts the Western alliance against Iran. And bin Laden knew this would happen.
President George W Bush backs Israeli plan for strike on Iran
President George W Bush has told the Israeli government that he may be prepared to approve a future military strike on Iranian nuclear facilities if negotiations with Tehran break down, according to a senior Pentagon official.Despite the opposition of his own generals and widespread scepticism that America is ready to risk the military, political and economic consequences of an airborne strike on Iran, the president has given an “amber light” to an Israeli plan to attack Iran’s main nuclear sites with long-range bombing sorties, the official told The Sunday Times.
“Amber means get on with your preparations, stand by for immediate attack and tell us when you’re ready,” the official said. But the Israelis have also been told that they can expect no help from American forces and will not be able to use US military bases in Iraq for logistical support.
Great. We are now in an Amber Alert. Help! Geeze. The Israelis hope to use Iraq as the staging ground for an attack. But Iran made it clear that every one of our soldiers there will die in flames if this is attempted. Of course, parts of our ruling leadership wants this. A new Pearl Harbor/9-11. Fabulous!
The mistake Saddam made of disarming isn't going to happen a second time around. No one is that stupid. The Israelis want to be the only bully boys on the block. They know that they must cease destroying the Palestinians if they can't intimidate or control all of the Middle East via the US. The US can control things only if we spend trillions there trying to control everyone. The deaths today in Afghanistan is going to seriously weaken our military even further. We can't rely on the daily jet bombings and assassin robots to keep the Taliban pinned down. All we do is kill civilians who are mere peasants. The scorched earth policies of the Soviets come to mind. We can't do this since we pledged that we came to free them, not turn them into slaves of Israeli foreign adventures via the US proxies.
Olmert Says Israel, Palestinians Are `Close' to Peace
(Bloomberg) -- Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said that his country and the Palestinians have never been ``so close'' to reaching a peace agreement as they are now.``I want to tell you that these negotiations are serious, there are obstacles and disagreements but we were never so close to the possibility of reaching an agreement as we are now,'' said Olmert at a joint news conference in Paris today with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and French President Nicolas Sarkozy. Olmert and Abbas, who are in Paris to attend a European Union-Mediterranean summit, are both burdened with domestic problems that may hinder peace moves. Olmert is being investigated over corruption allegations, which he denies. Abbas has been weakened since last year's takeover of the Gaza Strip by the rival Hamas group, which expelled his Fatah movement.
Wow. One inch closer on a 100 mile hike to nowhere! The Palestinians are getting closer! Of course, the goal of the Jews is to eliminate them and shove them somewhere else. Turn them into homeless non-state people like the Jews were for 2,000 years. As if that will make Israel safe for Jews only! The idea that two weak leaders who are on the ropes can 'fix' the ugly mess created by too many irritable gods occupying the same tiny space: there is no way this is ending soon. Since no one is honest enough to address this basic problem, it won't be solved. I believe that all these singular gods need psychotherapy and medications. Their delusions of grandeur are Napoleonic and destructive.
Pakistan’s new military and civilian leaders, caught up in their own power struggles, have been dangerously derelict in acknowledging and confronting the threat. Instead, they have deluded themselves that they can negotiate a separate peace with fanatic Taliban leaders. Bitter experience has proved that will not work.Sending United States troops into Pakistan’s border regions to try to clean out Taliban and Al Qaeda forces is also not the answer — and would provoke even fiercer anti-American furies across Pakistan. The poorly paid, ill-trained and uncertainly loyal Frontier Corps in Pakistan is not up to the job.
*nip*
This month, Senators Joseph Biden and Richard Lugar plan to introduce sensible legislation that would provide up to $15 billion in aid to Pakistan over the next 10 years for economic development, health and education. Congress should move quickly to approve the aid.The United States also needs to work with Pakistan’s new government to establish spending priorities and to ensure that any future aid is channeled in ways that would strengthen the civilian government and allow it to regain control over a military that has too often been a law unto itself and intelligence services that seem far more loyal to the extremists than their own government.
Here we go again: bribing the rulers of Muslim lands to attack and destroy their own people. Over and over we do this. It is now very expensive. Israel still gets the lion's share of this bounty at our expense. The fact is, the attackers who hit us on 9/11 didn't come from Afghanistan at all. Not one of them. They all came from places we either pay huge sums to keep the people oppressed like in Egypt or from rich Saudi Arabia, the country making terrific profits thanks to the oil embargo of Iran. The Saudis don't like us and wish us ill. And none of the rulers collecting money from us really wants us to succeed. They do love the bribes, though. Pads their Swiss bank accounts.
The news today that the triumphant Taliban who did badly against fellow Muslims in the previous civil war are doing well against the world's biggest empire is a HUGE feather in their turbans. Their status is growing ever greater! Just as Iran's revolutionary status is growing, not shrinking. The more we bluster and bribe, the weaker we are. This is bad strategy and bad tactics. When one fights this way, one loses.
Jerusalem Bridge Points to a Divide
First, there was the problem of the cost -- more than $70 million for a bridge that many in Israel griped could have been built for a fraction of that price, if only planners had been willing to settle for something a bit less snazzy. Then there was the look -- sleek and modern in a city that prefers its most recognizable symbols to be dusty and ancient. Unsure what to make of it, residents have already derided the bridge with the moniker "Jerusalem's Clothesline."
But the biggest problem of all was the dancing girls. A troupe of dancers between the ages of 13 and 16 had rehearsed for weeks in anticipation of the opening ceremony, where they were scheduled to perform as part of a program that also featured fireworks and a speech by Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.
Hours before the ceremony began, however, the dancers were told that they would need a new wardrobe. Their short-sleeve shirts and ankle-length white trousers were simply too revealing. And their dances -- involving tambourines and balloons -- were downright "promiscuous," according to the city's deputy mayor.
So the girls took the stage instead in flowing brown cloaks and -- despite the summer heat -- black woolen caps. Forced to cut their most suggestive moves, they barely danced at all.
"They stood like statues," the group's artistic director, Yaniv Hoffman, later told reporters.
The city's ultra-Orthodox community, which dominated the crowd, heartily approved.
The Israelis have money to burn, thanks to the US generosity. So this goofy bridge was built, it looks like something a terrorist would dearly love to rearrange. On top of this, the behavior of the Jews congregating in neighborhoods violently cleansed of all Palestinian Christians and Muslims are every bit as nasty and irritable as the Iranian Mullahs we mock all the time! Even though the Jewish history books they worship tell about girls dancing and playing tambourines, etc, and King Saul dancing through the streets half naked, they act like this is more from Mohammed's day! The same discrimination of women! The same lack of civil rights as in Saudi Arabia! Wow.
I remember all the propaganda about how the Muslims will mess with our lives. How mean they were about women dancing, etc. Yet here it is: unremarkable and accepted if Jews do the exact same stuff. Just like the double standard of the born again Christians screaming about orthodox Muslims being mean to women.
These guys are ALL mean to women! Their gods are mean to women! Their gods have a nasty past habit of women-abuse and even rape. Not to mention, denying a pantheon of female goddesses who have lived since time immemorial.
Nouri al-Maliki ready to oust US from Iraq green zone
The green zone of Baghdad, a highly fortified slice of American suburbia on the banks of the Tigris river, may soon be handed over to Iraqi control if the increasingly assertive government of Nouri al-Maliki, the prime minister, gets its way.A senior Iraqi government official said this weekend the enclave should revert to Iraqi control by the end of the year. “We think that by the end of 2008 all the zones in Baghdad should be integrated into the city,” said Ali Dabbagh, the government’s spokesman.
“The American soldiers should be based in agreed camps outside the cities and population areas.
“By the end of the year, there will be no green zone,” he added. “The separation by huge walls makes people feel angry.” Dabbagh acknowledged that getting rid of the green zone would be a huge undertaking, given the thousands of American soldiers, private contractors and foreign workers who live inside. He said the concrete walls that divide it from the rest of the city would be taken down slowly, “depending on the threat and circumstances”.
We get the boot. And the new Disney World and McDonalds and other fine US institutions will fall into the hands of the revolutionary Shi'as. Who will then merrily change everything to suit their own tastes. Imagine that. And all, inside their own country, too! Wow. Can't have that, can we? We will be shoved into the dry desert to fry. And this won't be like the Wild West where we penned the populace into reservations where they lived in tremendous poverty while we looted all the natural resources and killed the buffalo. This time, we will be the Indians penned on reservations to rot and die.

Reading maps of incidents in Afghanistan:

39 of the 47 dead were children and women, including the bride.
And Obama wants to send more troops there?

Yup. Afghanistan: graveyard of empires. Isn't it hilarious? At least Alexander the Great left fast.

That's because he caught the plague and could not be cured. His last wish was to see his mother before he died. He offered his doctors half of his empire if they could keep him alive just long enough to see her one last time. The doctors told him even if he gave them all his empire, they could not extend his life for even a day.
In the end, Alexander told his generals to march him home in his funeral procession with his hands exposed, facing upwards. So the world could see, there goes Alexander the Great, conqueror of almost all the known world, but who was leaving it empty handed. It was his epiphany.
Such is the end of Empire builders.

Then his generals fell upon each other and destroyed everything in civil wars. And Rome marched in and enslaved the Greeks.

It's so sad that you can't see how your anti-Semitism invalidates so much of the otherwise valuable material you post. Blaming the Israelis for everything is infantile, and doing so destroys your credibility. If you can't be right about one situation why should people think you're correct about another? Attacking and blaming Israel for wars begun by others may feel good, but it's just self-indulgent and diverts attention from the real problem: the war crimes being committed by the Christians who control the US and Europe.

Uh mike, we deal with something that might be strange to you called 'reality' that we discuss using 'facts'.
Commenting on someone's facts by calling that person 'infantile' does not actually discuss the fact. Was that too confusing?
So here is a question for you: Is Israel a foreign state or it a semite? Is to fight against foreign influence from Russia, China and Japan anti-semitic? We do that alot here. It is called patriotism for your country.
If you have a chance in between TV commercials, you might want to start with these 2 words.

Hey, this looks interesting:
www.justice.gov/criminal/cybercrime/ehudpr.htm
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Department of Justice, in conjunction with the FBI, the Air Force Office of Special Investigation, the National Aeronautic and Space Administration and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, announced today that the Israeli National Police arrested Ehud Tenebaum, an Israeli citizen, for illegally accessing computers belonging to the Israeli and United States governments, as well as hundreds of other commercial and educational systems in the United States and elsewhere
Then how about a list of Israeli citizens in high ranking positions in the US government.

Next, after you are done playing video games, and your mind is fully stimulated, you might want to build a spreadsheet listing the 50 foreign policy objectives of Israel and their opinion on each and then add another column to list the US opinion.
See if you find any coincidental similarity.
We also FREQUENTLY discuss the war crimes committed by Christians who control the US and Europe!!!
But we cannot be blinded fear of political correctness to not discuss some 'special' group.
EVERYTHING MUST BE FAIR GAME when discussing REALITY.

Elaine, have you noticed that as soon as Bu$hCo started high-level talks with Iran, the price of oil started dropping like a stone?
